Bartenders were nice and made really good drinks, except for one guy with long hair. I asked for a fruity drink and all he could suggest was orange juice and vodka :/ but the DJ was amazing and kept the crowd going for the longest time! Visited feb 23, 2017.

they didn't give me a ticket for my coat, but they wrote my initials on the hanger. At the end, when I wanted to leave, they asked me for my ticket, but since I didn't get one, I just gave my initials. That wasn't enough for them though, they wanted me to wait until everyone left or just pay them $10 to leave right away. I was shocked, it was practically robbery.

I had a terrible experience here. I was there for a Halloween party. Despite knowing the event was sold out, the club had NO line or system to handle the amount of people waiting to get in. A crowd formed around the entrance and people were pushing and shoving. It took an obscene amount of time for three (out of nine) of my group to get inside. Inside there was hardly anyone, even at 1am. The bouncers were rude and could not control the crowd. The bouncers directed us to move to one side but were letting people in from all sides. People were leaving, saying it was awful and not worth the wait. My group of nine gladly decided to leave as well, happily spending out money elsewhere. La Boom obviously cannot handle a large number of people (I wonder why...?) and I would never recommend going here or organizing an event at this venue.

La boom was an absolutely a terrible experience. We paid $75 for New Years, which included an open bar in the package. This was terribly misleading. First of all, the servers would not serve us drinks without tips. I understand that tips weren't included and it's respectful to tip, but this is also Canada and it is not mandatory for me to tip you for every drink I get. Also, a lot of us didn't bring money because we assumed it would be open bar.The servers didn't serve shots and they were just terribly rude. My friends paid $160 for a booth that was supposed to include grey goose and champagne, but received cheap vodka instead. When speaking to a manager, he just continued to argue with us. Overall, la boom was misleading and did not live up to its expectations.

Not worth the 10$ cover fee. Watch your purse and never put your phone on the back pockets since stealing is very common here.

Best club In Montreal!!! The place to go, the bartender and the staff are very nice! I will come back next time 4 sure!

My best birthdays and parties were here l. The staff is awesome and the vibe is the best.

I went this place a few times ago and it was a good ambiance. The deejays and their music were amazing. But this place is not haunted by the ghosts like the Club 1234 or Club Le Cinq.

I did not really enjoyed the experience. We got entry discount but after we paid we couldn't get the discount. Few people and some one left a turd in the pissoire. Very classy.

Overall terrible experience... People that go there are just really creepy and the whole atmosphere is sketchy. The place is old and the music was terrible. The drinks are overpriced and the bartenders can barely do anything other than a vodka-cranberry drink

This club made my new years one of the worst experiences ever. We paid $75 for a ticket that was supposed to include an open bar and this was not the case. The bartenders demanded a $20 tip from each person to be served even though we already paid $75 for the ticket. The club also advertised "three rooms, three vibes" but there were only two rooms and they were exactly the same. People who purchased bottle service were promised grey goose but got cheap vodka instead even after paying $300+. We complained to one of the managers and instead of apologizing he started arguing with us and made sexual comments. Everything here was unprofessional, dirty and a waste of money. I would never recommend this club to anyone.

I received a very bad service we pay to tidy up our coat and it took more than 30minute just to be able to get our good and more than the barmaid did not even a little smile force. really disappointed

Fights, son expectations, all to ruin an evening after paying $ 25!

AVOID THIS PLACE - Rude and incompetent staff - no organization - was promised electronic music and paint we got none fore 25$.
