If it's a Friday night and you're single you're probably already here - so, I'm probably not talking to you. But if you think you're ABOUT to break up...this is probably where you'll want to be in a couple weeks.

Nice large outdoor patio to meet friends (up to 6 people per table during this time). Heat is also provided on tables or above when you are in the covered area, there is also a fireplace. Cocktails are a little spendy & the staff could be a little friendlier.

Although my review may be slightly biased, I've only been on Sunday evenings for the free amazing live music, fun eclectic crowd and good drinks. Service is typically pretty decent. They also have a great patio out back that is killer come spring.

A decent bar with a good selection of drinks, some decent happy hour and bar food, and lots of space. The interior is pretty dark and grungy but not too loud to have a conversation. There is a nice outdoor patio area at the back also.

Bret and Will are the absolute best. Our weekly trips here rarely disappoint. Just wish they would stop wrapping the steak butes in bacon. Latest menu revamp is a little less than stellar.

Fun location to eat and drink in a Portland central location. I recommend stopping by on your weekend crawl through the town. Reasonable prices for your cocktail essentials, cozy interior with comfortable seating, and spacious private area out back to enjoy on a warm day.

Great place for drinks and a snack with friends with their funky retro interior. Lovely back patio complete with a bar, ping-pong table and lots of tables to enjoy the weather. Love the tall greenery they ve created for a small oasis in the city. Love the grilled cheese, can t wait for their Mac and cheese to come back on the menu.

really great place to get great food for lunch (or dinner, for that matter)! i usually stay away during happy hour, though, because it becomes crowded very quickly. also, they have a great patio that's nice during the warmer months.

Come for the drinks, stay for the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Rontoms is a Portland favorite. The outdoor sitting is ideal both in the summer and in covid times. The drinks are good and their happy hour is great.

We had great service despite how busy it was. While noisy on a Friday night, it was great people watching. I wouldn't go there on the weekend with a date, though, as you'll be shouting at each other all night.

Once the party bar where all the hipsters go, it is now a great bar to have a good time and to meet good looking people. A great patio with ping pong, this place is a gas in the summer. Interesting decor and a fire place keeps the place cozy in the rainy season. The happy hour is where it currently is at.

Lots of outdoor seating, which is great for now. The inside area is fun with a 70's vibe. It feels like a hole-in-the-wall bar that is almost a secret. They don't advertise too much on the outside. The Mule cocktail is really good, lot of ginger and spicy. Also, get the deviled eggs, with bacon, amazing!!

Decent food, but service leaves something to be desired. In addition, after I changed my order to a cheaper plate (they'd run out of my initial order), the server seemed very confused as to why I wanted to get a new bill. The patio was very cool, though - I wish we'd gotten to see a show there!

Love this place and miss their live music. Food and service is pretty good too, but they need to do something about the beehive on the patio, I watched your server with the cool hair get stung in the leg...

Stopped by Rontoms while visiting friends in Portland and had a good time. Pros: open spaces, both large indoor and outdoor areas, upscale atmosphere without pretentiousness and good food and drinks. Cons: none

My experience of rontoms was very favorable. The menu was very diverse. Everything from tacos to Hummus to deviled eggs to BLTs to steaks. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. This place is not much for table service but I placed my order at the bar and got it within 15 minutes or so. It's not very fast food but it is very good food. I also ordered a BLT to go. Going to find out how good that is later. Everything is very well priced. Very good presentation. I enjoyed my lunch very much. Thank you

Great happy hour menu. Fantastic cocktails. Full bar, good food, good service. The expansive outdoor space in the back is my favorite aspect of Rontoms. The covered area makes outdoor seating feasible year round.

Overcharged me for a vodka cran. Then went back to my friends just to have an employee walk into me and spill half my drink on me and then try and walk away with a simple sorry and not bothering to give me anything to clean up (he had a stack of clean napkins in his apron).

I don't know anyting about their food as I've only gone here for drinks. When I first came I was a little disappointed. It was just a huge, steril room that was weirdly fitted with ikea like furniture. Then, I was told that there was an outside and it totally changed my view of this place. I dig the outside area and the atmosphere. The only downfall is that the service at the bars is really slow. I guess its more like there are so many people and so little bar-age.

I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my entire life. To start things off, I asked for a glass of water and received a scowl and attitude for not having been there before and knowing where there water was. When we were about to leave, my friend had a small issue with someone who was friends with a waitress (who claimed to be the General Manager) there. They told us to leave and after some heated words with the waitress and her friend we went outside. This guy would not leave us alone after we left and kept talking to us, finally he went inside. We were standing outside the bar on the sidewalk calling a cab trying to get out of there and the bouncer, out of nowhere, opened the door and all but tackled my friend as hard as he could. When I said what the hell was that for and told him to leave us alone. He shoved me too. I almost called on the cops and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Don't waste your money dealing with these scrubs. I hope the owner's deal with their employees if they want to stay in business. The dozen-plus people who saw this came out and apologized to us saying that it was complete bullsh*t and they won't be coming back. I'm glad I didn't spend a dime here!

Their patio is absolutely insane, it's gorgeous. The staff are really sweet, and it would seem they have excellent taste in music, or I guess in my opinion they do. Pricing is modest, to be expected for the area. They don't have a sign, so I guess it's a confusing one to find at first, but they have a street sign out sometimes. Happy hour tacos are straight

Such a lovely bar. Especially for this time in the pandemic. You'll be comfortably far away from other guests and the cocktails are just splendid. I enjoyed the Event Horizon and Get Behind The Mule. Just absolutely incredible in flavor.

I went here to meet up with some friends. My first impression was that the space was nice, with a lot of different areas to sit with friends but also meet other folks. The outdoor space was a lot roomier than I expected too -- even though I went during December, I imagine it'd be a fun spot in the summer. I got a few drinks, but I liked my sister's bottled drink more than my draught cider. Overall had a good time though. Even when there was some confusion about my bill amount, I felt customer service was responsive when I noticed there was an error. I appreciated that they helped me get a refund.

Even though I received a disappointing Malbec, the decor, atmosphere, and attentive staff more than made up for it. Stellar location for meeting friends or getting cozy near the fireplace with a date.

I love Rontoms, can't go wrong with happy hour food pricing either. There was a bit of a disconnect between the wait staff and the individual at the entrance, hopefully that will become a bit smoother. But other than that, nothing but love.
