This place is so cool it is hard to find! I sat outside and froze!! The heater was nice, but only served one table and I was not at that one! I wish that I was. The drinks were very tasty and and inexpensive.

A staple bar when going out, Rontom's is an interesting bar due to it's layout and atmosphere. It's one big open room with couch-like seating around the edges and couches / tables in the center. I've never had a bad experience here and the drinks are always tasty. There is also a very big outdoor section which is especially great in the summer. Go here if you're looking to avoid a dive bar and want a more cozy / casual yet upscale experience.

Went during the day on a Friday with my wife. The drinks and atmosphere were awesome. Hadn't been here before so I didn't know what to expect. The time we went was perfect because it wasn't crowded yet. I also have to mention the music playing was absolutely the best.

GIANT patio that is a bit of a well kept secret in Portland. There's only a small section that's covered, so we'll only head out there if it's dry. The bar itself is somewhere between a dive bar and a hipster haunt, but they've got solid drinks, healthy pours, and good bar grub.

Rontoms is one of the best bars/venues in town. Along with the wide open inside area, the outdoor patio is huge and packed during the summer. The bar staff is extremely friendly and quick.

I tried to see a show Sunday (Candace + Opening band) and the sound guy was GAWD AWFUL. So much distortion, way too loud, couldn't hear vocals at all. Unlistenable, truly (and they are a great band!) Y'all need a new soundperson stat! (or train this new person... daaaaamn!!) (love the bouncer though!)

My boyfriend took me on a date here last week, our first experience here. The outside dining was very romantic and a great atmosphere and getting to hear a local band play while eating dinner made it a fantastic experience! The food is cheap and really good quality!

Great atmosphere and excellent food! Fun place to go on a Friday night and play some ping pong in the back. There are 2 bars both with quick service on Fridays. Lots of Portland hipsters and characters! Had a blast people watching

Imagine bamboo swaying gently in the breeze, your companion dappled in sunlight across the table. Cuddle up to some cute strangers down the bench. It's summertime in Portland and everyone's out to see and be seen- Rontom's private patio is the perfect place to get to know your neighbor.

Favorite bar in Portland! Live music on Sunday nights is really nice, bar staff is really friendly and the drinks and food are great! We love bringing our puppy here to hangout on the back patio and the staff knows him by name :)

First time here, I guess the live performances were over an hour or two late, I wasnt expecting that. Towards the end if the night thr bartender was super pushy about me signing my slip (it was 1:30am so I get it but I hate feeling rushed) The scenery is awesome, it opens up in the back to a second bar with massive outdoor seating and a ping pong table. They cant make an old fashioned right, which is annoying but it's not a deal breaker. Ultimately less pushy bartenders and a show that I can plan my night around are the drawbacks (I'd be nervous talking this place up just to disappoint a date) Scenery is amazing, and it has potential. I'll come back again, but it definitely sucks that is the general theme around Portland, having to try hyped up places many times before being able to have an accurate feel.

I was so surprised at how friendly their staff is because the ambience is so classy hipster, but wow the service at Rontoms is perfect. The vibe there is very minimal mid century/tall ceilings and open space. Their happy hour is awesome.
