Aweful place. Crowded with tables set cheek by jowl. Servers are not pleasant. We had to wait a lot before being served. Food was below average and crockery unclean. So much for a cafe with history. Hmmph. And what is with so much attitude when you are just living relics. Forgettable.
Cafe Flore is one of the worst places in Paris where you can see only tourists and people that want to show off. Food is nothing special and not very affordable. Better try something else. The area is great.

Cafe Flora, one of the old coffee shops in Paris, was shocked by the crowd as soon as they entered the door. There were too many people. The store was jamming a lot of tables and chairs to make more money. Being able to occupy a bit of space, we not only ordered the signature coffee in the cafe, but also ordered two desserts in the afternoon, but the price was too high, and the service we received was out of proportion, I felt like I was very online. This is a famous place and is on a great spot in St Germain. We went for a late night coffee after a big meal somewhere else. The coffee is fairly typical of most French cafes- terrible. Over roasyed and badly made.
But the service and the general hustle and bustle is well worth a visit.
