It s a long review...but please keep reading. BHP, Sarah, and Tara were absolutely exceptional. Being a bride and groom that live out of state over 1,000 miles away in Florida, they could not have made this experience better for us. They were available every step of the way either via email or a phone call. Our food tasting was seamless and was coordinated with one of our trips home to NJ so we didn t have to plan a separate trip entirely. In the few days before the wedding, we dropped off our decor for the special day and gave Sarah a large degree of creative control to arrange our decor how she deemed fit. This was one of the best choices we made as she added small details we didn t even think of! Our wedding day was flawless. While we were taking first look photos Sarah came down to the fairway to see if we needed anything. After the ceremony, my husband and I were taking more photos and she walked an entire tray of cocktail hour treats to us! I thought to myself, this is above and beyond anything we expected...but it gets better. She was attentive to our every need, constantly checking if we needed a cocktail, water, or anything else she could do for us. During the closing of the reception, my bridal party had gone down to the private bridal suite to collect their things. In all the rush to get back to the hotel, one of my bridesmaids had started to tidy up the suite to make it easier for the cleaning crew. In the midst of this, our marriage license, the most important document, was tossed into the trash!! The next morning while picking up our decor, we explained the situation to Sarah. It was not but 15 minutes later that she called us to let us know the chef and herself had gone SEARCHING THOUGH THE DUMPSTER and ultimately found our marriage license. We both could not be more impressed by the dedication, professionalism, and genuine care provided by Blue Heron Pines, Sarah, and Tara. I will ABSOLUTELY be recommending this venue to any and all friends/family getting married in the area in the future. Thank you so much for a magnificent wedding and for saving the day by finding our license!!

Was here for a wedding. Beautiful scenery for pictures. Only thing preventing a 5 star review is the restaurant inside. They didn't close it when the wedding was happening. There could've been unexpected wedding Crashers

Staff was very accommodating to set up a sweet sixteen party. Cake delivered from another off site bakery. This sweet sixteen was Feb. 11,2017. The banquet room has a nice view of the golf course. Food is consistent.

Meeting all the football players was fantastic. The real gem is what the Jaworski family does for the community. They truly give back and are incredibly nice people. Thanks for a great time!

Came a few weeks ago & was disappointed at how poorly kept the florals are. All dead summer plants. Brown, crumpled flowers near where people get married! Would be beautiful if they kept the property well & removed dead plants, and replaced with fall florals instead of just letting the dead plants stick around. Everything else is great. Love the tavern food!

Played golf on Friday with friends who flew in from out of town and wanted to play over the weekend. I had been told that this was one of the nicest courses around. It is not. The course was a mess, with puddles of water in several sand traps.
On Saturday, we played at Atlantic City Country Club, which was amazing.
Like night and day comparing the two courses.
Overall, it was a very disappointing outing.

Very shocked in the conditions this course was in. Probably the worst course I ve played this year. Expected better because of how nice River Winds and Running Deer were. As a member of Scotland Run I expected way better. Feel like I paid $110 to play a $50 golf course.

As a florist setting up for ceremonies and receptions, this venue is one of the nicest places i've been to. They are very kind and very nice to everyone, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding! I wish more of my bridal clients would use this place!

Blue Heron needs to invest a little more in their course maintenance at the rate they re charging. I played it yesterday and they have some drainage issues in fairways, other fairways barely have any grass in certain spots. There are better maintained courses at the same price point in the Egg Harbor Twp / Mays Landing area. Greens have tons of divot marks and the 1st green was covered with goose droppings.

Had a big group and we were playing captain and crew, 5 holes in rangers were on our ass about playing faster and followed us basically the whole time. We were told 5x including at the clubhouse at the turn to play faster after spending about $3500 in golf for the group. Course is nice but it was unbelievable how we were treated as players, with 24 guys it took us 5 hours to play.....not to bad I think.

Place is a mess, very wet ( never rained, always wet, no drainage) huge divots, soft fairways, bunkers unkept, with rocks underneath no less. Don't take a divot
You always hit it heavy because it's so wet.

Staff was " fake" looking to make money in the bar, drinks, not a good feel. Don't recommend, maybe for 30.00 max.

I take no pride in reporting that the course is just in really bad shape. Late November is not the reason. Sand traps are literally dirt, and the edges are overgrown and unmaintained. Leaves, matted down indicating they have been there for some time, are everywhere, including in standing water in fairways. Bare areas, in play, are everywhere. I drove over an hour to play the course, and in all honesty would not play it again if it were across the street. Worst conditions i have played in years. Sorry.

I went there with my wife for our nieces Wedding, it's a local golf course and I don't golf so I didn't know what to expect. I am handicapped so I ride a scooter, all the employees made me feel relaxed and I got around without a problem. All the food was really good from the appetizers to the main course. The wedding was a great time and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again!

People who give bad reviews about golf courses are the ones who shoot 120 on their rounds. Those same people think every golf course should have the conditions of Augusta. Blue Heron Pines is great course and everyone reading this please stop taking advice from players that wear their shirt un tucked with cargo shorts and a visor. Enjoy your round and hit them well.

I went to Blue Heron for the driving range with some of my friends. The very nice man, Anthony, in the pro shop was very helpful in letting me know what I needed for the day. He also gave a great food recommendation so we could eat after. We brought him along and paid for his meal, what a great guy.

Asked to go out as a group of 2. Ended up getting matched up with 2 others anyways. Cart girl no where to be found, even asked the Marshall to send her around only for her to drive past us while we were putting. This is the third Jaworski course I've played and I have yet to have any type of good experience. Slow service at the tavern, took 12 minutes to finally get someone to help me. They get an added star only for the course being in good shape.

I have read the reviews and that is not the course I played this past week. Was down at the beach for vacation and wanted to play 18 holes. Reviews all looked good so we booked a tee time. Staff was nice and helpful no issues with check-in etc. They did have a lot of rain the night before so understandable it would be really wet. Of the 18 holes I would say 4 of the fairways were basically non-existent. Completely burned out, could not find a lick of grass to but your ball on. Others fairways were very spotty burned out sections with some grass. Greens were in very nice shape. For $107 a round it should have been in much better shape than it was...

We had our wedding here in the beginning of August and it was fantastic, minus a few flying golf balls. This was the only venue we had looked at and we knew right away this is where we wanted to have our wedding. I can t thank the staff at Blue Heron enough. The food was amazing and they set up everything the way we wanted. I also want to thank Sarah for putting up with my craziness and making sure everything went smoothly and for pulling leaves and grass off of my dress during pictures. That s dedication right there! Thank you for making our day special!

Not too thrilled with the catering. Had a party here and the meatballs tasted like cheap frozen meatballs. The pork tenderloin was terrible. The chicken tasted "eh". They put out fresh fruit, cannolis and tiramisu in addition to the cake we had made. The cannoli cream with gritty and didn't taste good. The tiramisu was good, not great.

There was some confusion with our final bill. We had paid everything upfront and then were hit with another $400 + $200 bar tab, which we explained in our original agreement that we would not have a bar. Period. Just soft drinks. We settled the $400, management figured that out and we didnt owe anything. But then we paid the bar tab and gave extra tips to the servers who were excellent.

The atmosphere was blah. Outside was gorgeous. We also requested a certain genre of music to be played but nobody could hear it. The room was not terribly loud either, it was a relatively small group- approximately 30 people.

Our family has had several events here and this one was not the best but not the worst we have experienced here.

Great time. Got teamed up with a really cool father and son. Course was in great shape and was a fair challenge. Would definitely return and not only for the course, but all the personnel we encountered were cool and made it a good experience.

I am local to S Jersey, and have always enjoyed BHP. However, I played yesterday and the greens were in terrible shape. If they had a disease, golfers should be alerted. If they have recently been poorly maintained, shame on BHP management. If greens aren't good in late Spring, it doesn't bode well for the Summer. Greentree (local municipal track) greens are rolling far better, and that should never be...
