Finally decided to try this place... Was mediocre..

Now this is some great Italian food! The lasagna is amazing. Service was great. I highly recommend. I cant waite to come back and try something different.

Server was very attentive. Food was fresh and hot, but mine was a bit to greasy.

Great food, friendly, competent staff and price was very reasonable. First visit here and will make it a regular stop when visiting Mobile Alabama again. Scot

This visit I tried the oven roasted salmon, which came on a bed of angel hair pasta with a pesto cream sauce. It was delicious. My husband went for his standard: the seafood manicotti, which never disappoints. We were there on a prom night, and though the house was packed, the hostess and our waitress were attentive and quick. Great service, and always great food.

My visitors want to take us out to a great Italian restaurant so I chose Roma Cafe based on past experience. They were initially disappointed with the ambiance however food was and is great. The owner visits Mom in Italy periodically to bring back new recipes. My go-to dish is what I call "S&M", Spaghetti and Meatballs, theirs is great, but I twirl my pasta with the help of a soup spoon. I asked for one and waited quite a while for the waitress to return... with a fork. Hmmm... I brought the new fork to a counter waiting for the waitress to return. Another server asked me what the problem was and I replied that I asked for a spoon and showed him what I received. He became very indignant and scolded me for my impertinence. Taken aback I just left him with the fork and returned to my guests. Oh well, so much for customer service.

Amazing! My family has lived all over, in and out of the country, and this is the best Italian food I think I have EVER had!! We plan to return frequently.

The good at this place is amazing. Ambiance is a little weak. Floors and tables could use updating and sometimes there's a very strong chemical smellfrom cleaning when they first open. I just order take out now. It's worth it!

The food was pretty good, with decent serving size. However, the main course was only average, and the salad was sad. The meal was just not worth the price.

Excellent restaurant. Brought my gal here on Valentine's Day and it was lovely. The food and service was quick. A lot better than Olive Garden for sure.

This place is on the small side, wouldn't be good for larger parties, food is very tasty and arrives in decent timing, service was good.

Opted to do takeout after listening to my coworker rave about the place. Definitely worth the price. I did the grilled chicken salad and not only did it fill me, I actually couldn't finish it! The staff was super friendly and the turn around was fairly quick. They do have inside dining and as I witnessed follow all of the current rules on distracting and protective measures. 100% will be returning.

We were a little concerned looking at other reviews that said great food but mediocre service. Took a chance and found a new favorite place in Mobile! We came in at 7pm on a Saturday, they were very busy. Brandi C was our server, she had our drinks to us almost instantly. Salads and appetizers came out quickly, and were incredible - we had the fried mozz and spinach pastries. The mozzarella was obviously fresh and fried perfectly. We're in love with the spinach pastries and can't wait to have them next time. We had fettuccini Alfredo, meat lasagne, and the pasta basilica. I honestly can't determine which one was better, they were all great! A final note: we have a toddler, and it is always frustrating when servers put food (especially hot plates) within reach of a baby. Brandi was instead very careful and put the food out of our toddler's reach. She even avoided passing plates over the baby (another pet peeve). It is so rare to see a server excel, I wanted to call this out as an inspiration for others. Our service was exceptional, matching the quality of the delicious food at a very reasonable price. We can't wait to come back!

Recently visited this cute little place with my family. Although we were starving and there was a 30 minute wait we decided to wait. Boy are we glad that we did. First off our waiter Sami was amazing. He was on top of his game. The food was a great, trust me, worth the 30 minute wait to be seated. We got the Veal Parm, Pene Pasta with Roma's Sauce and Shrimp, and Toscana Oven Roasted Salmon everything was amazing and the portion sizes a great. This is now one of our favorite places to go and we will make this one of our go to places for dinners out!

The only Italian food location worth visiting in the area. Food and service is wonderful.

The seafood manicotti is my favorite dish. So much so that I just can't bring myself to order anything else. Staff is always awesome!

The eggplant Parmesan and penne pasta was delicious. Zach took perfect care of us; was very informative, personable and professional. We will visit Roma Cafe again and recommend eating here.

Heard about this place trough a friend of mine and my husband's. So we thought we would try it! Best food we've eaten in a long time. Service was outstanding! Our food tasted fresh, and we didn't have to wait long for it either. Will definitely be back!

WoW this is an amazing restaurant with the best burger I have ever had. The place doesn't look too fancy from the outside, but the food is delicious and waitresses are very nice and respectful. Pasta is also delicious. This restuarant is great for groups or people with kids. Falafel and hamus were fantastic which I really enjoyed. I will definitely keep coming. Highly recommend.

Take out, about 13 minutes; 2 meals. Perfect service and perfect meal. We will do this again.

Absolutely spectacular! 11 out of 10! I highly recommend this place to anyone with an Italian craving. It's upscale with an amazing atmosphere! I'll never go to olive garden again now that I've discovered the Roma Cafe!

Finding places we haven't been and I was told about this place. So we stopped in and I can say I will be back. Food was awsome, service was marvelous.

First time there last night, with friends and it was awesome! Everyone enjoyed their food...especially me! I am a shrimp scampi aficionado (I am!) Ha. Anyway, best I have ever had! Only thing is restaurant is small, so..wait but worth it.

I've never been disappointed. However, I always get the Meat Lasagna, so so, with that said, I've never tried anything else. So, if you like Lasagna and haven't tried it, then you should.

The food was fresh and excellent. The hummus was okay to me but I lived in Greece so my expectations are high. I had a Salmon dish and couldn t eat it all.

Great Italian restaurant, taste authentic, and very reasonable prices. Great place to stop and get a bite. Very limited parking, and not a lot of places to sit, but it's not very well-known yet. I would recommend it to anybody looking for an Italian experience.

My boyfriend and I went to Roma cafe for my 18th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We had an awesome waiter his name was Colton! The food was delicious and came to our table extremely fast! We enjoyed sitting outside! We definitely won t waste our money at Olive Garden anymore!
