Last minute kids party of 10...the Spur Clarmont team was extremely helpful n accomodating... The kids were entertained, food was great BUT what made it all extra worthwhile was the friendly staff from the second we walked in till the second we left... I live in the northern suburbs but iv just found a new spur to take my kids to in the future. Thank you team cavendish.

Food took forever to come eventually came and was cold and just wasn't nice at all asked to change the meal manager eventually did it for us we enjoyed it after but we were already put off by the ribs needed to use the bathroom it was so filthy and stinking from the door at the bathroom already.. really so bad the experience tonight

This time I got bad service... waited forever to be seated by a window table.. and there was plenty of open tables.. kept telling us that will seat us at one while in the meantime customers that came after us were being seated at one... then waiter got orders wrong... and sauce was not on food like it was supposed to be... first time ever I got bad service at this spur... so I will give it 4 star...

After many bad experiences at this spur I decided to give it a go again with a breakfast. I must say It was a complete turn around with the service and the food all good. Keep it up guys and I will definitely be back .

The waiter could not cope with all his tables. Also waiter didmt place order for starters until other waiter took over. Chips was extremely salty as well. Waiter didnt even apologise.
The service was pathetic! We waited to long to be seated, we waited Long for a waiter to arrive, we waited Long to order and when the food came EVENTUALLY.... it was cold! I will not go back there again. Terrible service!!!
Not the best experience, apart from the 1hour 40min wait time I was served by a waiter that isn't customer service oriented. Myself along with colleagues occupied 3 tables, I believe we've been fairly patient however the service received from the waiter was really upsetting for most of us.

My sister booked a kids party at 3:30pm on Sunday November 2019. We arrived at 3:15pm were told to wait at a table as the previous party was still there. At 3:45pm we were told that the previous party was still there and we will be seated outside the kids area. We were not happy with this of course as this was not what we paid for. After 4pm we were told we will be moved to the kiddies area. But this point we were not served any food or drinks and 3 different waiters tried to take the order unsuccessfully. After we were seated in the correct place out waiter was very friendly but the service was still very bad. We waited almost 30min for the staff to come and sing after we had asked then to please come and sing. All the deserts were melted when they arrived at the table, so we ate puddles of ice cream in bowls. This was overall a VERY BAD experience. We did not receive any apologies from any management. I am very disappointing in this as i have been going to Spur since i was a child but this was really the worse and i will think twice, even 3 times before i go to Spur again.

This has a lot of seating, so you hardly ever need to wait outside, unless it is a Monday evening. They have friendly staff and they are always understanding if you might be unhappy about anything. Highly recommended for the family.
They treat you really special and their food is really 1st class

A good family steak house with light entertainment. Food choice is as any steak house you'll visit. Have some of the best ribs and also BBQ wings! A bonus for this steak house is that it's fully halaal.
There food is usually nice but this time around my daughter had a runny tummy after we left, so was either the food or milkshake she had but hubby and I was fine. I was not too impressed so won't b going there again
