Rodeo Spur (Spur Steak Ranches Franchise) Review

Nice for a quick bite. The basting sauce for their grills seem to have changed and has no taste.

I really enjoy spur but over all the years of going though not often i have had only one issue. Other than this one complaint i have no other qualms with this spur. The fact that the way i want my steak done has never been to the specification i have asked. It is almost as if every steak is made well done regardless of what you ask. I would send it back under normal cirmcumstances but when you go to spur and want a steak firstly you not going with the intention of sending it back and secondly you are hungry and to wait while everyone eats is not enjoyable.

Horrible experience, bad food and bad customer service. Manager has no customer service or etiquette.... Will definitely not recommend you spend your hard earned money there.

Well first thing is that their staff has a way making their customers feel at home, as they are working as one, as for their meals is amazing.

This is my favourite Spur to go to the. The food is always done well and its clean! The staff are friendly, informed and helpful at all times and the managers are always so extra polite and helpful. Overall really good Spur to go to when in the area.

Its 1 of the Best, when ever m in Claremont it's my favorite stop for lunch, it's a Halaal spur and their service is the best. Its close to main road and Cavendish Mall . Especially for Muslims thus the place to go.

Steaks are melt in your mouth. Awesome way to spend your bday.

Definitely Halaal certified. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. The food was up to standard, and very worth the price.

Food is good, though the restaurant could use better ventilation as it's quite warm... especially on warmer days.

The food came really quickly and the whole experience was amazing.

The service was not great. For example, two plates of food werr brought to the table and the other 3 only appeared after we asked when they were coming. The waitrons were more interested in chatting to each other than serving. Quite disappointing.

I've received terrible service from this branch on more than one occasion. I will definitely not be going back to this branch ever again. They serve garlic rolls with old rolls, this happend more than once. My burger was served with no sauce at all. The onion rings of one of the meals tasted like it was fried in burnt/old oil. I did not enjoy myself there at all. My experience there put me off from wanting to eat at any Spur again. Worst of all the bill came to over R400 for two people who really never enjoyed their experience there. I would not recommend this branch to anyone after the few bad experiences I've had their in a row

The vintage halaal spur in Cape Town, food is good when not busy

It was relaxing and a good place to catch up with an old friend I haven't seen for many years. We had breakfast and sat talking and talking. And the nicest part of it was that Spur staff didn't even rush us. The food was awesome too

Never get steak here. It's always wrong. Ribs are ok most of the time. It's always overcrowded and just feels filthy

I brought my full team from work for our end of year meal. We had a the worst experience and would not recommend this Spur to anyone. First of all we had a salad with lettuce that was turning brown and fewer ingredients sent it back and got more or less worse salad than the first. And the ribs were tough not fall off the bone even for beef ribs it was not at all at par with what l had exeperienced at other Spur branches we got crumbles for onion rings l mean it's just not acceptable, to top it off the floor manager came to backlash the kitchen manager with us as if to make the situation better but l was not impressed. They promised to contact me and am still waiting. Super annoyed and one star is an understatement no star at all.

Absolutely amazing, we had a 3 course meal and Robert our waiter took such good care of us, we did not have to wait awkward periods before receiving the next course. I'm so happy. Special thanks to Robert

Not a huge fan of spur if I'm looking for a steak. Friendly staff and decent service. Food wasn't amazing but it wasn't horrible either. And the location is a little out of the way

It's your typical Spur but staff seemed happy to be of service. Overall good experience, but service could be speedier as we waited forever for our bill.

I would not recommend this Halall Spur. I would rather recommend Observatory Spur or Vangate Spur. The restaurant was basically empty yet we waited almost 45min for our food which was all wrong. My steak fillet was tough and chewy and they put on masala basting which I did not ask for and they got other orders wrong from our tables. A real woeful experience.

After all the years I've been going to spur , I have never been treated as well as ZOLANI treated me.
His service was spectacular and he deserves a 10 star rating.
