Just tried the bar from the terrace. Service slow, disorganized, not up to the prices practiced unfortunately.

It is a most pleasant place, but now it is closed for renovations
Very vonito I have visited him several times every year boy in these holidays with my daughter and my granddaughter. But this year the service has not been at the height of a hotel of its category, I'm sorry because I go twice a month because my economy does not let me go anymore, ( 8 a cafe) and always the great service first pasta that you put the sugar and then coffee, yesterday we had to ask, I do not feel because I always recommend it because it is expensive it is worth paying for what we ate yesterday two chocolates with churros and a coffee 44 all good except the service
I recommend the Palace Hotel better, on the other side of the Glorieta de Neptuno. More beautiful, more comfortable, more helpful and much cleaner. I asked for a taxi to take us to the airport and there was a man with a black car who had no idea of driving, my wife almost vomited from the fear that happened and they charged me 68 euros !!
Essential site if you are in Madrid.
Don't miss their Brunch
This is the second time I have been to the Ritz and I can say that it is a fantastic hotel with a service up to its reputation. The location is very strategic as it is located in front of the Prado and a short distance from the center and the means of transport. The staff is professional and helpful to make you feel at ease at any time. The common areas are elegant and well cared for, the breakfast is excellent and there is a garden to enjoy an excellent outdoor dinner. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with all amenities. In short, the Ritz Madrid is a certainty!
The best hotel Glamor. Style. What a pity that closing for reforms. I hope it does not lose its charm
Excellent service. Amazing venue and great location. Always a good option.
The perfect service, facilities and qualities. I will repeat and they have won me to the full
Of the most important hotels in Madrid and Spain, the very friendly staff
A dream place! Incredible breakfast or drink in the courtyard with piano music ...
Luxury hotel that is in full renovation is expected to finish the works by the end of this year 2019
Beautiful hotel not far from the center of Madrid and the famous garden
In this central hotel draws attention in the first instance for its aesthetics: a hotel of pure luxury set in the 50s. The service has no fault, the staff attentive, polite and very professional. A great and pleasant experience.
The Hotel Ritz Madrid in the city of Madrid is a five-star luxury hotel located at number 5 of the Plaza de la Lealtad (Retiro district), next to the Prado Museum and in front of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. It is currently managed by the exclusive Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group chain. Since October 2, 2010 it is considered a centennial hotel in Madrid.
Very good attention.
The stay very pleasant.
Indescribable for the fantastic experience lived in this hotel of other times and with a particular curious fact: a dirty dress of mine washed chocolate.as never seen in my life even if at the cost of 30. But pleasure is not there price!
It is near the Prado Museum as of January 2019, but it is inconvenient to use public transport.
Waiting to have tea in the afternoon, long lines, hotel staff not very helpful nor nice. Left after a wait, not with the trouble
The Ritz Hotel in Madrid has closed on February 28, 2018 in order to undergo a renovation of 99 million euros, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. During the closing, hotel workers will participate in various programs of training or temporary assignments will be provided to other Mandarin Oriental establishments -the group that acquired it in 2015- in preparation for the reopening of the hotel
We want to thank for the excellent service and professionalism of the restaurant staff of the Goya room that we received yesterday. The excellent quality and presentation of all its dishes. And, we recommend in desserts their torrijas that are insurmountable. Thank you for making my mother so happy. Happy Holidays.
Very grand and ornate and a great place to sit down with friends and enjoy a drink appetizers.
Excellent hotel as expected, everything good good service and very attentive staff
Excellent place with the most traditional and elegant touch
Spotless high price, but to host
recognized artists, okay
They serve them well and breakfast is good.
I recommend it.
Expensive but at the level of this 5-star world famous
A sumptuous establishment with a fantastic setting, the Goya restaurant at the Hotel Ritz awaits you for an exceptional brunch menu (around 75 euros per person), with impeccable service. The terrace is particularly a superb place, where you can enjoy the sun and delicious food at the same time!
With its famous Sunday brunch, the place offers a rich buffet that is not lacking in seafood or stew and that offers a wide range of culinary, from Japanese sushi to the best national cold cuts
The excellence and the superluxury personified in this emblematic establishment. Elegant, unique, the framework of classic luxury. The best thing without a doubt is the staff who make every experience in this wonderful unforgettable place.
Hi, a 5-star hotel that serves reheated food in the microwave? Never more
Impeccable service, friendliness, comfort, luxury, all the comforts. In summary unbeatable.
It is a very nice and elegant place and the service and attention is splendid
Stayed at this hotel several years ago for a week or so. Everything was what you would expect including hotel security which was discreet but exceptional. Their services started from the airport where I was picked up in a private limo and given a bit of a tour to get my bearing. I waited for my daughter to visit before going up to my room and I was given full tea service while waiting. My daughter was a student in Madrid at that time. Our room faced the Prado and also had a great view of the area. The furnishings, closets...were beautiful and in top condition. The same care went to the Aubusson type original carpets where repairs were all initialed. This isn t a Weston but is several rungs over. If you want a hotel to sleep in only it s probably not worth the price but if you intend to visit with family or spend time at the hotel you can t find a better hotel. The restaurant was also first class and well worth the price for breakfast or a memorable meal. It is also just steps from the Prado, Thiessen and Retiro Park. The Thiessen is a jewel of a smaller museum. The art works are all beautifully conserved. Madrid has many fine museums so it s difficult to get them all in during one visit. My visit to Madrid was memorable for several reasons including my choice of hotel.
As always when passing through on the terrace in the restaurant Goya eaten and enjoyed the incomparable scenery and the ambience. Drinks and service great, only the food is missing the last bit.
Hospitality and attention paid to customer's needs.
Amazing! Even if you sre not staying, worth a visit for a cup of coffee or to taste their signature churros with melted chocolate.
Wonderful hotel located in the city center of Madrid. Very high quality of service, strongly recommended.
Memories and magnificent present.
It remains the classic Madrid that can not be absent.
It was old hotel, but dinner was satisfactory at restaurant which was old, but was classical, and service was impressive. After remodeling, I will visit you next time.
Hotel Ritz Madrid taken from the entrance of Museo del Prado.
One of the best hotels in Madrid. Recommended visit for those who want to know the atmosphere of the beginning of the last century. Classic and modern at the same time. Excellent service.
The Ritz Madrid is simply the best! Exquisite decor, unparalleled service, and pure romanticism define the Ritz Madrid. My favorite hotel in the World.
A 5-star hotel should be outstanding physically, but even more so offer service that is essentially flawless. The Ritz did not impress on either aspect. We did not get the experience of luxury one can expect from a high end hotel.
Some examples to illustrate that the service and property was far from legendary:
> The requested fresh flowers were missing in our room when we arrived. When we addressed this at the reception we only got a "we are sorry" and no effort was done to bring any flowers afterwards.
> The requested tickets of the Prado museum were forgotten and not provided at check-in.
> Without asking, the waiter brought us our bill for the drinks that we had not even finished yet in the hotel lobby. We felt as if in an American diner where the waitress brings the bill as she wants to fill up the table with the next guests.
> The restaurant host offered a newspaper at breakfast but subsequently forgot to bring one because she was too busy entertaining a more important guest (president of Real Madrid).
> The Audio Description Commentary was activated on our tv (which results in a voice describing what happens in a tv scene in which the actors are not speaking - service for the blind or partially-sighted). A technician came to our room but couldn't remove the setting there and suggested he would go to figure out how to disable the setting at the tv in his workshop. We never heard anything any more.
> The lobby restroom was out of toilet paper.
> The wallpaper in the hotel room is getting loose
> Matching paintings hanging next to each other in the hotel room are not lined up evenly
> Ventilation is missing in the hotel room's toilet causing dirty smells to remain
> The hotel room's air conditioning / heating is quite noisy and me and my girlfriend we get sick in the room is something smelly really bud
> The hotel room has many many light switches that are interconnected incomprehensibly causing you to turn on all lights at once accidentally which kills the mood in the room
> The grout lines between the tiles of the bathroom need maintenance and are old
Gardens of the Ritz Madrid, an ideal place to have a night drink in the city.
Situation in the wonderful surroundings of the Paseo del Prado, we speak of one of the best luxury hotels in Madrid, perhaps the most classic, inaugurated just over a century ago by King Alfonso XIII. Without a doubt, More
I have never stayed at the Ritz but I had the opportunity to attend a wedding here a year ago and the truth is wonderful. The beautiful salons with a nice decoration. The exquisite food, without words, was a great menu.
The attention of the waiters who served the banquet and the welcome cocktail were also very pleasant and attentive. I hope to have the opportunity to repeat soon;)
The staff, service and it has a nice property, but its rooms are out dated.
Currently under construction. Personally from the best buildings-hotels in Madrid.
Excellent, relation price services and services; breakfast first.
The best place to spend Christmas eve. Old world elegance and great cocktails.
The cafeteria of the Ritz hotel is a very pleasant place, quiet and with the characteristic glamor of the luxury hotels, where you can spend a very pleasant time, whether for a refreshing drink or a snack. And the prices are not cheap, but they are not as expensive and prohibitive as those of other places without the benefits of this magnificent hotel.
Historic hotel in Madrid, classic, luxurious and with a lot of history ... although I do not think it would make up for paying what I paid.
In the heart of the city center, the Ritz is one of the most beautiful architecture of Madrid. With its quarter-circle shape, it is visible from all around. The hotel posted a sign on his wish to see refugees coming.
A luxury hotel, one of those legendary. With two advantages compared to others of its highest level: despite being in the heart of the city it enjoys great tranquility and a bit away from the natural bustle, besides, the views towards the museum of the promenade are simply spectacular.
