The Ritz Hotel in Madrid has closed on February 28, 2018 in order to undergo a renovation of 99 million euros, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. During the closing, hotel workers will participate in various programs of training or temporary assignments will be provided to other Mandarin Oriental establishments -the group that acquired it in 2015- in preparation for the reopening of the hotel
