Very good the suite, where I stayed with Mariano and Emilio. The suite is spacious and comfortable, we thought that everything was included but then they passed the invoice when calling from reception to indicate the amount. Mariano asked for many things and the bill was quite high. Very good the deal since when leaving the hotel a man handed them the keys of the car so that Emilio arrived at the trial.

Hotel was clean and room was good. The staff was friendly and nice. The location is also right next to the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum on the other side of the street. When I checked out, I closed the door and remodeled it for two years. I was fortunate to be able to visit before the door was closed and would like to visit again if possible.

Inviting my mother for her anniversary to an afternoon cakes, we all invited each other so that the couple would not stay alone. I almost cried when I had to go. What a variety of types of sweet salty cakes and any other flavor that you can think of ... and the tea ... oh what a tea ... and you could repeat !! (with what cost, but they are worth going!) But the good thing is over, and that's the only bad thing ...

If you're looking for a posh hotel to stay at in Madrid, the Ritz is definitely a strong contender. Yes, the decoration is opulent and gaudy, but what do you expect from a 5-star luxury hotel? I stayed for one night and had a great time. The room was very nice, the bed was comfy and the champagne breakfast in the morning was a nice way to end my stay at the Ritz. At the breakfast table we were waited on hand and foot whilst enjoying live piano music in the background. The buffet consisted of all the usual elements you would expect to find in a continental breakfast (fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh juice, bread, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, coffee, tea, etc.) plus the addition of champagne of course. It wouldn't be the Ritz without some bubbles! If you wanted to you could order different dishes from the menu too (omelettes, eggs benedict, etc.). If you're not on a tight budget and wish to splash out on your stay in this wonderful city, I say go ahead and put on the Ritz!
