5 stars! I'm not really an ice cream type of person (but I do hear that it is excellent), but the smoothies!?! The smoothies are amazing! The strawberry one and the mango one. I'll go back for them over and over again. They have a drive thru that's convenient. Good staff. Plz check them out!

They ran out of flavors early and didn't tell me until after I had paid for the order.

Very polite staff, and the ice cream has always been good. But sometimes they run out of toppings so you might need to improvise.

Great custard! However, sometimes they are skimpy on the add ins in their glaciers (like a blizzard).

Delicious frozen custard served out of an old-school round building. I had the Butterfinger "glacier"(like a DQ blizzard) with BIG chunks of candy!

I've always enjoyed their custard and this location is no different. I have especially enjoyed the caramel apple glacier However, every time we go here we try to order one of the flavors they have that day and it turns out they are out of half of them and haven't bothered removing them from the menu. Not a big deal as an adult but I could see this ending in a tantrum if you were to take your children.

I went to try this for the first time today. We were standing at the window and no one approached us. The temp today is 105 degree it is a common courtesy to let your guest know when you can service them. The staff kept taking drive up orders and refusing to come help us at the window. We wanted 3 cones. So i stood out there 15 mins in the hot sun. When I drove around to drive up, sure enough they were there to help. I asked the girl & guy with the beard, why she never helped us at the window she stated they were more busy in drive up. This is not fair. Why must a window customer wait constantly for drive up to slow and when we came there was only 1 person in drive up? This is why ppl go elsewhere. Hire better staff!

This is a neat little place with a plethora of options. I'm not a huge shake or ice cream person, but we were craving something sweet after dinner out in Indy and I found this on Google with great reviews. The staff are very friendly, helpful and patient. I like anything with Oreo so we went for their Oreo shake with extra Oreo. Portions are pretty massive FYI. This was really delicious and I'd go back to try some of their other stuff.

NB: They do have some seating outside, but given the cold weather we decided on the drive through.

Love their smoothies especially Mango flavor. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience at Ritters at this location. It was one of my first times at this time establishment and wasn t sure what to order. One of your employees really went out of her way, and was patient with me. She gave me a great selection and gave me some samples. I was very pleased with the service. It was nice. Wasn't crowded but I had to wait For some reason. My ice cream was good. My dog enjoyed her cup of ice cream as well.

Phenomenal experience and hands down the beat custard shop in the city. Custard is so much better than ice cream, and eith over 100 flavor you can't go wrong. Dairy free options are also worthwhile. The staff is always willing to help make the experience great and there are so many different options to choose from and top with! They are open all year around, even in the winter so a must go to.

I go to this location quit a bit and i am always pleased. If u arrive and the line is long,stay, because the young staff seems to know what they are doing and how to do it fast. Everyone that works there appears to be a teenager but the manager obviously knows how to pickem. They ALL do their jobs well.

Chocolate Frozen Custard with Snickers pieces is the best

So the ice cream was good. But ! Customer service was not on point. While ordering, the young lady helping us was scolded by Chris, who I assume is the manger. If sweetheart did not check the menu or flavor list before hand , now is not the time to berate her. And further demean simple ice cream ordering by complaining so loud that my husband had to repeat his toppings twice. You have no right to speak to any child that way, help, uplift, inspire that's what you signed up for when you manage a company like that. Shame on you for the energy you let out while I simply ordered ice cream on my beautiful Sunday!

Who wouldn't love frozen custard? Or sundaes, shakes, malts, .....

On a busy Saturday night, I was assisted by Emma who had an amazing personality and made my experience there so fun. All of the crew at Ritters is fantastic, but Emma went above and beyond to help me have awesome time and also provided a laugh.

It is one of the best making places for custards really surprised me it took me back to a child. Good job guys

My all time favorite frozen custard! The flavors are always delicious and the staff is very friendly. The owner is often on site and very personable!
Tonight's treat was the famous banana split. It's enough for two if you don't mind sharing.
If you're in the area and considering a sweet treat, this is a MUST!

It was alright, a lot of topping not a lot of ice cream...but it was good, my granddaughter enjoyed herself...I think it was good, it really depends on the person, some ppl like a lot of topping and some prefer more ice cream, but it was nothing to complain about.

Way too many people in there working for it to be as slow as it was. Teenagers in there were overcrowded, playing around and forgetting toppings. They ignored customers for co-workers and friends skipping the line. I used to always go to Ritter's and it has never been like this. I was embarrassed bringing my guest there after bragging about how great it was. I don't even want to come back anymore.

I enjoy the Custard. I was just recently in the drive thru and the cashier had trouble ring up my order. I asked for a manager, she was as confused. After 10-15 minutes of try to figure out what I should be charged for l decided I didn t need the custard that bad. In fact I was a little afraid to eat it. I asked for a Receipt which they never gave me.Theses cashiers clearly needed training in running a Register and customer service.

We love coming here! Sometimes it can take a little while when doing the drive thru, but other than that s its a great little place to visit for high quality ice cream goodies and the price is right. Try the banana custard!!

This is an old style walk-up frozen custard stand, with a drive-thru window. The delicious frozen custard has become our family's favorite cool treat on those hot summer days. Highly recommend the sundaes and even the frozen pies for a birthday blast!

So glad the best custard in town is open for the season! Especially love the turtle sundae.

Amazing amazing. Recommended must place stop in Indy. Turtle Sundae is the bomb!
