Just okay. Menu & wine very tourist friendly. Service pretty lacklustre. Some items on the menu are good. But generally seems over rated for the price.

Delicious but pretty overpriced.
Our food was accidentally only served at the next table and when the mistake was noticed, it was brought to us. A little reckless during a pandemic. We lost our appetite a little.

A very nice restaurant. Great food, lots of variety at decent Venetian prices. Waiters know the job and can advise both food and wine.
Milisny very good oysters on the table, tuna tartare, two kinds of paste, tagliate and fish soup. Each dish was very good. We regretted later that we ordered so little ;-)

The San Silvestro restaurant is just a few steps from the Grand Canal, opposite a church. The service is friendly and quick. In addition to the normal menu, there was also a daily menu for 20 in July 2020, consisting of a starter and main course. The food is rather simple, but nicely decorated and tasty. The restaurant is very attractive in a combination of historical and modern. The only downside was that the lettuce and lemon were no longer very fresh. However, the day was very hot with 34 degrees and Venice was quite empty due to Corona.

After three months of lockdown our first dinner without high expectations turned out to be a beautiful evening, excellent food and very professional, nice and very kind staff. Highly recommended for those who love local cuisine and fresh fish. We will definitely be back. Giorgio and Vania

Not like we expected, my pasta with meat just had some littles pieces of meat and the risotto with seafood didn't had tasty of seafood.
The only nice thing was the staff, friendly and helpful.

Quality food in a very nice and comfortable location. Level staff. The owner (I think three brothers, one of whom in the dining room does the honors of the house) very welcoming and nice.

Local extracted from the cylinder in the unfortunate choice to dine without knowing any restaurant in Venice. Without a reservation we showed up in front of them and despite this the waiters immediately welcomed us very well. The dinner was really great starting with the food and ending with location and customer care. Fair price for the dinner made then 5 stars well deserved. Compliments.

We were very disappointed with the food there. After the restaurant was always rated very good, we wanted to treat ourselves and have opted for the Ristorante. Unfortunately we regretted this decision. The food lacked in flavor, sometimes it was not flavored. We had the tuna and the lamb. No wine list with place of origin / region and vintage. The dishes cost without side dish already over 20 euros. But the quality was not appropriate.

Excellent dishes and not excessive prices, excellent quality

We were looking for a place to eat on our last night in Venezia and let me just say, this place is EVERYTHING!! We didn't have reservations but they accommodated us immediately. Sit inside, it's so lively and fun!! We loved watching all the food coming out of the cucina. The brothers who run this place are amazing and I wished we went there sooner than our last night. I just want to hang out with them! The entire staff is so friendly and so funny!! We had an incredible time! The food and service was fantastico!! Pasta was cooked to perfection, delicious and they gave us limoncello shots at the end. We couldn't stop laughing, joking with the staff and having conversations. Learning some Italian and smiling goes a long way people, don't be rude tourists. We cannot wait to go back here!! We loved our experience and dinner, salute!!! Thank you!

Wonderful time here, do yourself a favor and get the Tris in Saor, it's delicious. The service was great and the folks who waited on us spoke English and were very helpful. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening for hours!

You can relax in a calm atmosphere. The staff feels good and friendly. Cooking was normal.

Location: comparing to other restaurants around, was not in a hotspot but relatively chill.

Food: not like wow amazing but have nothing to complain.

Service: top, the waiters are smartly dress, very polite and professional. Feel like eating in a classy restaurant but without a strict dresscode. Would come again just for the service.

Price: two pastas one portion of baked potatos, a bottle of water with bread appetiser costs 39 . Quite fair in such a busy city.

Great hospitality. I didn't mean to come to eat here but after I met Antonio I decided to come in to enjoy his hospitality. Great food. Good wine. Recommended Moscato sweet and so gentle white wine. Good appetizer...grazie Antonio. Ci vediamo altri giorni.

We ate there for lunch. Very good but not original, prices were OK for this location. As example, grilled shrimps are only grilled shrimps, no sides, no sauce included. There is apparently a daily menu which is not super advertised unless you came several time. Service is OK at best.

The staff at this restaurant understand what hospitality is: the really make sure you have dinner in utmost comfort.
The menu is composed mainly of dishes with fish, but there are plenty of meat or vegetarian options.
Perhaps a tiny bit expensive for what you get, but I still like to rate it 5 star because of the great atmosphere and it is better than most places you will come across in Venice.

The waiter was extremely impatient. And insulting people, bad reviews, even the best food. With such a scum service staff. Will affect the mood. It is not recommended for the team to eat. Not only impatient, but the service is extremely poor.

Had a great time at this place. Nice people and spoke English well. One guy was mad chill and told us that he rolls joints the size of ice cream cones. Weird translation but got the message that he smokes a lot of weed. Besides that, the food was fantastic and moderately priced. Highly recommend. We were high as a kite! All dishes we had were tasty (not salty), well balanced and plates were enough garnished. This restaurant is 2 Great teams (Kitchen & waiters) who are working together to make our dinner a very very good moment !

We arrived earlier than booked, they were sorry that the table wasn't ready (natural since we were early) and we were offered to wait with a complementary glass of Proseco... it's not that it cost them that much but it shows all the attention they care to give their customer in a city where one could think that tourists are easy money !

We had been informed that it was very good but it was always full, after booking by phone and going on time, they tell us that they do not accept the reservation and that we cannot have dinner, after a few minutes of anger the owner approaches and apologizes indicating that in 10 minutes we will have a table and while we invite 6 people to white wine. Very good detail on your part which we appreciate. Related to dinner, very good quality, its specialty, pasta although they do not put a lot. We dined on a very comfortable terrace and with blankets for the legs courtesy of the House. VERY RECOMMENDED, the owner at the end of dinner again apologized, something very rare in Venice.

The service was very good and very friendly. Appetizers and pasta were fresh and delicious. The open red wine (Valpolicella) is very good. The interior is very nice. You can also sit outside. Toilet is modern and clean. We also got a high chair. Highly recommended!

My salat with seafood and artichoke was great.
Aubergines were good but a bit heavy for me - too much cheese :) but the taste is good .

Average food. Good service. Ambiance: inside is a dread, music is a bore, just stay away. If outside, bearable food. Not one single Italian patron should tell you something.

High quality food. The risotto with cuttlefish ink is a delight. Friendly and efficient waiters. The bill is a tad high, but there is in relation to the quality and the fact that we are in Venice.

The atmosphere is local and authentic the service was excellent and helpful and the food was magnificent. Everything we ordered was fresh and really well prepared. Also the price was very reasonable for Venice and this level of cuisine.
