Absolutely fortunate to have such a delicious restaurant as one of my local places. As a Puerto Rican, myself, I of course went in with low expectations. Luna Rosa absolutely exceeded them. Friday nights they have live music and it made for such a wonderful experience at this small, local restaurant.

The food is delicious, The service was outstanding..... We told the waiter it was our very first time trying Puerto Rican food he took the time to explain the menu and suggest dishes also drinks... Every thing he suggested to us he tried and we were not disappointed...
Thank you Luna Rosa

I arrived in the afternoon on a rainy day, not much people inside, they had DJ music, nice ambiance, small and clean place. The food is good. This is a small pricey plates place, but full of flavor. Not bad but I won t go out of my way to comeback.

I am originally from Puerto Rico, my wife is Mexican and cooks Puerto Rican food 100 times better than the chef who works in the restaurant. The food has no taste, super tasteless. Maybe for those who don't know anything about Puerto Rican food they like it.

Had drinks and dinner with my friend and we loved the place! Then a thunderstorm hit us so we couldnt leave, so we basically spent 5 hours here and enjoyed every moment! Sorry pic blurry but the drinks were great!

A very lovely setting of music, drinks and food. What's not to love? It was my first time trying Puerto Rican food and I absolutely loved it! Oh, and the cucumber martini is uber delish!

This was a great choice for a Sunday brunch at noon! We chose the 10$ mimosas to start. This included a full bottle of Prosecco and our choice of juices. The French toast was beautifully done with freshly sliced strawberries and the veggie omelet was perfect. My husband had the pork, black beans and vegetables. I am very picky about where I eat and this restaurant was clean.... right down to the menus. Valerie was one of the best servers we have ever had.... clearly she enjoys working there and cares about the service she provides the patrons of that establishment. Thanks so much... we WILL return!

Enjoyed Happy Hour. Went on Burger Tuesday. Big burger with fries for $5. Various burger topping to choose from. I love the Coconut mango chicken wings. Crispy, hot and delish for $5. I got 8 good sized wings with 2 sauces. Yum. Margaritas, Beer and well drinks at happy hour prices. Great time at minimal costs.

The atmosphere was nice but they had no idea what platanatures was and most of my spoken Puerto Rican vocab was lost on them. The food was good and the huge pork chop was delicious. They had some incredible drink specials that were unique.

The food and environments are awesome! The atmosphere is incredible. The menu is big and the food is real good. The food choices are very authentic and stick to the Latin roots. The only drawback and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it is very small and it got ridiculously crowded after 6 pm. We were lucky because we got there before the dinner rush. But if not for that, we would had to wait for more than an hour or likely more than that, because a lot of people were there for the live music.

It was a busy time, but wait staff were jumping to make it happen. The food was great to discover. Tapas means smaller plates, but big on variety and flavors. Lovely decor. Big bar. Not cheap, but a good investment for date night out with significant other.

Being a true Rican from Brooklyn and who lived in borinquen, I do recommend the pernil3, BUUUT the arroz con gandules was blah. Seems like they used uncle Ben's rice and pieces of bacon in the rice...WT!?!?

This place is a no no. Everything was very disappointing. My waiter did not even know how to pronounce the items on the menu, the food took forever, it was cold and it was not good at all. The mofongo omg was dry and did not know nah! The dishes were very small and quite expensive. Honestly the only good thing about the whole experience was my drink. This restaurant does not do justice to Puerto Rican food. I was expecting feeling back at home but nope not at all.

You cannot visit and leave without trying the Caribbean Nachos. During Happy Hour they are only $5 and worth every penny. Delicious. I like to ask for extra "soffrita dip. I use this as a condiment for my nachos. Excellent!
This trip I tried the Canoa. Sweet, savory, and salty. Perfect combination of flavors. The grilled veggies were an extra delightful side that was fresh, flavorful and pretty when plated.
Last trip the Chef s husband came out to greet us. He was a delight! Great service, exceptional food!

Yea it's a Puerto Rican joint, but their Cuban sammich is the best in the city other than the ones you can get on Lackland commisary. Staff is always positive. Only cook complaint is the music(which is the best mix of spanish music) is sometimes loud and gives me PTSD and makes me remember my mom waking me up with a chancla to clean.

An overall good experience. Went on a Saturday about 7pm the wait was about 45 minutes. We ordered mofongo it was a bit dry but the fried pork chunks were well seasoned. The rice and ribeye were good. Wish they would've had the authentic steak in onions but maybe they'll add it one day. The music was so loud we had to yell in order to have a conversation. Our server Ryan was great! If ever back in that area will try it again.

First time trying Luna Rosa and have not eaten anything Puerto Rican, this place is not a bad choice for lunch, dinner, or tapas and drinks.

The bacon wrapped dates and the plantain nachos are delicious savory delights. The la ropa veija was seasoned very well but the mofongo was not something I particularly enjoyed - just personal preference. The el Condado with the steak was alright not as tender as hoped and not enough Chimichurri.

The drinks are good and the service is great. I would definitely recommend and return again.

Excellent food and very good service. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. There are a few criticisms: both the Tostones and the Mofongo were a bit sweet (they did not use green plantains...it seemed as if the cook wanted to get rid of plantains that were already getting ripe) and the sweet Mofongo was obviously prepared in a food processor (a huge NO-NO), thus, it was too mushy. The Yuca Frita, Carne Frita, red beans, white rice, Arroz con Gandules and the Ropa vieja were very good and perfectly seasoned. When we return, if the Tostones and Mofongo are prepared like they should, I will give Rosa Luna 5 stars.

The staff were friendly and our waitress was attentive. The establishment is clean and has great salsa and meringue playing. The food was good, it didn't quite have the authentic Puerto Rican taste but none the less, the food was delicious and I will definitely be coming back.

Not to happy with the customer service. Take too long to take your order. Order fried snapper which was so overdone, I couldn't eat it. The worse part is that I paid $27.00 dollars for a fish I couldnt eat. Never again.

I am me ... I and my partner love The Place, a good service and very attentive to us, that is always having a 100% customer service Congratulations ... On the other hand, I found it funny when they gave El Caldero to my partner with rice with chicken

This place has decent puertorican cuisine. The portions are good. I just wish that they lay low on the lard, also the service is not up to par. Overall all I could give is an ok rating. Not outstanding neither bad something in the middle.
