Elegant restaurant but without particular ideas despite being starry. Top-ups on exaggerated wines
Traditional dishes revisited with flair, imagination, superfine technique: superlative result.
Do not miss the pairing of wines with the "classics" tasting dishes.
EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED.
Very nice location, very relaxing atmosphere and really amazing food.
I was very skeptical but I changed my mind more and more after each course I tasted.
We made the Origin tasting menu with the addition of a dish that really left me amazed: the cappelletti in dry broth.
Staff very prepared and excelled especially in the preparation of raviolini with mascarpone duck sauce and red wine reduction made next to our table. To say that we were full is not enough!
Beautiful food, incredible service and although you're paying more, it's absolutely worth it for the experience.
My boyfriend and I were thoroughly impressed by our visit last night, all the staff were very knowledgeable about the food and drinks they were serving, were very kind and the food was definitely crafted with care and experience with perfect flavours.
The decor is classy and subtle but again a lot of thought has gone into it all.
The dishes are exquisite, the service is excellent, and the taste is ok
Best place I've ever been. The food is gorgeous, the service is amazing, the place is marvelous and you should go there I had the 6 courses menu but it looked like a 100 dishes menu cuz it was so perfectly well done and I left full. Attached all of the dishes i had and i would definitely reccomend this place.
The service, cleanliness, location and food are GOLD
Incredible food and service as expected for a Michelin star restaurant. The tasting menu was well worth it and allowed us to explore many different Roman cuisines.
Mrs T and I had a great evening at Ristorante All'Oro. We had the nine course menu L'Oro di All'Oro, a couple of bottles of water, a bottle of wine and a couple of coffees. The two and a half hours we spent there flew by...
The standout, perfect dishes were the salami served 2 ways (ball and shot of jus), bruschetta, Caesar salad, scallops (served with a spek foam and potato gratin), carbonara reduction (presented in an egg shell, sans pasta), the ravioli with duck ragu, pudding packets (mangetout) and the sweet tiramisu; these were all fantastic and all left you wanting more. Everything else was very enjoyable, albeit a couple of the dishes were a little flat in comparison; the quails egg with veal looked amazing but was light on flavour. The tortelloni with dry broth were frankly best forgotten (despite being passionately discussed by the waiters); ironically they may prove to be the most memorable element. They were served with a rich cheesy white sauce, but filled with a thin liquid that mainly tasted of saffron and washed the white sauce away; plus, if you're lips weren't firmly sealed shut before you bit into them you were prone to coat yourself or companion with the contents. Memorable, but in an opposing way to, say, the scallops (which really were divine).
Waiting staff were friendly and attentive (if a little keen to clear empty plates) and flattered us by avoiding any potentially awkward conversation on what wine we wanted to choose (really this should read "afford," as they were 70 and upwards) by gaging our reaction to their suggestions. The bill of 400 (not including a 40 tip) was predominantly fair, albeit the high starting point for the wine pricing seems inexcusable.
This was an evening of imaginative, skillful, delicious and novel dishes; we would visit again given the opportunity, but next time perhaps go for the 6 courses or choose your own 4 course options (now we know what to expect)...
Had an amazing experience at all oro restaurant. The chef was so nice. Next time we visit rome, also we would love to stay at that hotel.
Fantastic place, the best restaurant i have been to. It has it all; The level of service, food and atmosphere, its so high - truley perfection.
Beautiful, stylish and excellent cuisine. Enchanting.
Excellent cuisine, very professional service. Refined venue but too soft lighting in the small room. Prices unnecessarily above average for wines and coffees
A fantastic culinary journey ... highly recommended
Super experience!
Taste, presentation, and service were excellent. Inventive dishes, accommodating kitchen, and attentive/ efficient staff. Book now before they collect their second Michelin star.
Ristorante All'Oro is a very nice experience. The food is creative and delicious, service explanatory and polite but never pretentious. Friendly atmosphere. Presentations of the food were funny and interesting. "Rocher" of Coda Vaccinara nd More
Great restaurant, friendly service
We had the tasting menu with a great wine pairing. Great selection of appetizers and desserts. Besides the five dishes menu, they offered us two extra dishes.
A fabulous dinner, just to crown our 10th anniversary of engagement, a unique journey full of emotions, a true and inimitable experience, intense taste explosions also contained in simple courses such as aperitifs or starters.
Thank you for this unprecedented gasteonomic experience.
Amazing place. Great food, knowledgeable and friendly staff! Definitely recommend.
Exceptional restaurant of the highest level.
The dishes are fabulous and the raw materials of the highest quality.
Careful environment and very professional staff.
It is not just any restaurant.
Try the tasting routes offered by the chef.
Recommended experience.
Excellent dinner, accompanied by attentive service and friendly staff. Impeccable combinations and taste excellence. Wide wine list but above all a lot of attention even to the smallest details.
Best Italian food I had in my life. Thank you so much for everyone!
Exceptional at every level: the quality and inventiveness of the food, the quirky presentation and the beautiful outdoor setting. Highlights were the oxtail and ravioli with duck ragout. Great value considering the overall experience.
All smoke ... and no quality!
I don't usually write reviews, but this time I have to make an exception.
I expected from a star-rated restaurant more than mediocrity.
Some dishes without flavor, with tasting menu prices a little too exaggerated compared to quality.
Service does not exist!
I have a certain culture and passion for wines and the labels on the paper, they had too high a mark.
Compared to other starred people in Rome, the comparison does not stand up.
MOUTH.
I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!
It was a wonderful New Years Eve dinner. Our eyes and our taste buds were delighted. Good pace in service with some slowness but it remains reasonable. I recommend this restaurant to gourmets.
I feel the luxury and devotion to food
Considering the Michelin 1 star, compared to Astrid y Gaston, Central in Peru ...
Bangkok Opus seems to be better
Even if it's in the basement, the atmosphere is pleasant and the menu is of excellent quality.
No matter what I say it wouldn't be enough to describe the service and the food. The place is worth every penny !! A must see to complete your Rome experience.
Delicious, the price is not very beautiful TT_TT, but with this value, really recommended!!!!
It s really recommended to come to Rome.
Friendly staff, Chef is passionate with his food. Flavors are good but the food quality is spotty at best. Two dined there together and quality even between the two is not consistent. Food service was slow, tasting menu took more than 3 hours. For the Michelin price, would recommend elsewhere.
Amazing!!!! Isn't even enough for how I feel about this experience. I never could have imagined how incredible all the food and wine was this evening. Everything was so delectable it brought me to tears. The whole night will be something that will inspire me for the rest of my life.
I dined here for my birthday. Elegant and romantic location. Quality service, they followed us throughout the meal and their advice was spot on and on time. Recommended for anyone who wants to live a refined dining experience. Value for money 8.
Absolutely great place, service was more than excellent; very friendly staff; all dishes were explained in detail; food was full of surprises; each dish was an explosion of taste. We loved it and we will definitely be back
Excellent service and a very worthwhile dining experience. The carbonara will be forever marked in my memory !!!
Exceptional everything! Great professionalism and friendliness of Andrea, Patrizio and Roberto. Only note, a shame not to have had the pleasure of meeting and being able to greet Chef Riccardo. I hope to visit you soon!
I prefer going to lunch at restaurants in the genre, it will be that I feel like I can enjoy them better imagining less crowds ... even this time I got it! Table in the smallest room right in front of the lit fireplace, soft lighting and background music ... perfect atmosphere! It will be that even Christmas just gave away that something more magical ...
The perfect guys in the room: helpful, courteous, prepared, always smiling and attentive but never "sliced": they make you feel like regular customers.
I'm not here to judge (because I'm not a chef) the technique, but everything I liked and everything excited me. Of course you do not come here to go belly full but to live an emotion, an experience and this was (I still have to say honestly that I did not have dinner ... so I'm satisfied with the stomach!)
Wonderful to watch the ravioli of mascarpone directly with the mobile station at my table and to cook it, a dish not included in the menu I had chosen but offered by the chef!
In short, I think it's one of the best I've visited on Rome!
The price is absolutely in line with the type of restaurant (starry) indeed, with the menu "your gold", it is really an unmissable opportunity!
Congratulations!
When the second star ???
Once in your life you have to eat the Matriciana Summary, not to mention the rest ... Fabulous
Starry restaurant to try, welcoming staff, remarkable taste experience, staff at the height, suggestive and romantic location created as in a cave. Quality enviable price, welcome tasting menu that alone is worth the dinner. A defect? It will be the Augustine heat and tiredness, but from the kitchen every now and then some curse comes ... in short, we are in a starred restaurant! Let the stars shine and ... admire them in silence!
Went here with my wife on our last night of vacation. The atmosphere was elegant but not in a stuffy way. To keep this short and sweet, the food was delicious, the presentation was phenomenal and the waiters were very nice, explaining what each dish was and answering our questions. To sum it up, my wife commented "this place is awesome and likely the best meal I've ever had." Enough said.
very good guys at the tables and the quality of the food. I will definitely return
The ambient is strikingly modern and complete, however the lighting is done with unequal perfection. Ask for the round tables when booking.
The food is not what you expect, said in the most complementing of ways. The potato fish tiramisu is artistic and perfectly balaced, an experience not to be easily forgotten. We had the original tasting menu, the chef made sure we were all set and the appetizers signaled we were in for something out of the ordinary. 4 hours later and a little tipsy we took ride home with smiling faces:) five stars
nice restaurant although not very large, excellent value for money
One of the best starry stars ever. Each course a fun surprise. Sushi of fassona, rocher of tail to the vaccinara and gricia to the gold really not to be missed
Simply perfect! It is not possible to find a fault. Great food cooked with high quality ingredients, and presented in an original and tasty way. The service was impeccable. All highly professional staff. I hope one day I can come back
An extraordinary experience. Without doubt the best pleasure I experienced during a meal. The decor is a bit dark but very original and the reception is of very high quality. A must.
Di Giacinto is a starred chef and in the dishes he offers, all his art and passion are evident. Go and see him in the evening for dinner it will be a pleasure to meet him in person !!!
The dining environment is very suitable, the cuisine is creative, and it can also be blended with appropriate ingredients and seasonings to make the dishes full of color.
Very intimate and refined location. Excellent food and quality. I highly recommend "summary of carbonara" and "cappelletti in brodo asciutti". Innovation and taste really special.
Amazing!
Perfect, Michlen star restaurant, great place.
High class, intimate restaurant with superb staff and attentive chefs.
Phenomenal experience. Loved It! I don't eat seafood and they were able to accommodate me with the tasting menu without issue.
The current location is a new premise which they have occupied for a year. We were fortunate to be given a reservation at 7:30. We tried the classic tasting menu of appetisers, tiramisu of potatoes, salted cod, carbonara reduction, ravioli pasta with mascopone cheese, oxtail rocher, ALI- oro tiramisu dessert. Excellent service and great wine
The best cuisine of my life. Always cool and never intrusive staff. Highly recommended !!! I hope to come back soon
I'm sorry to give a vote like this, I was warned that it was not a great experience but I did not want to listen to the gossips.
It was all true terrible dinner and service.
Not recommended
Lovely place, perfect staff, amazing flavours and food combination. The chef Riccardo is a genius. Rich decorations and precious choice of interior design.
One of the top culinary experiences we've had around the world. Go for the tasting menus.
We decided to dine here after hearing positive comments from our friends. The attention to detail was great. I recommend.
Delicious, pretty good service, expensive but it's an experience for sure.
The food was incredible, waiter staff were excellent, but would say the atmosphere is slightly intense, very quiet and felt like I had to whisper to my partner about everything. Overall an excellent restaurant just needs more atmosphere.
many claims and high costs for a restaurant with an offer perhaps more suitable for foreign audiences than for Italians. in spite of the great expectations, numerous style falls and errors of moderate size, perhaps in the service phase, perhaps trivial but unacceptable for a structure of this level. pleasant environment but which in spite of this cannot make you forget that you are still in a basement, a kitchen in my opinion devoid of emotions and inattentive to serving temperatures. add to this a wine list with exaggerated mark-ups, the sum of the factors leaves this choice far from sufficient
Food was really special, fun and inventive. We both had the All'Oro classic tasting menu - it was rich in flavour and a fun twist on traditional Italian dishes. My only observations on the menu were that it would be nice to have some palate cleansers in between the heavy dishes or a light dish to balance out the menu. Also agree with the previous comment on the lighting, a little too stark when seated. Would be nicer to have some warm lighting in there. However the staff were extremely helpful and general ambience was nice.
Thank you!
Highly priced, food and service is good but not necessarily worth the cost. You get better value for money in many places in Rome
I have rarely eaten so well
Each bite is an explosion of flavors
And the staff is really nice and nice
I recommend it to everybody
My compliments
Excellent service and lovely food will deffinwtly came again
Incredible experience. From the service to the food to the ambience this surpassed my expectations. This was easily a dinner worth splurging on. I also loved the way they have spaced out the dining room making it an intimate experience for each couple. All round a very well considered menu and service experience. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience, amazing taste and colourful menu. Peppe made all the experience even better. Thank you for everything.
One of the best restaurants in the whole capital for taste of dishes and menus.
There are no words.
Lustful
Our favorite restaurant during our 3 days in Rome. Fantastic food - the duck ravioli was a standout - and service. Highly recommended.
Beautiful dishes, first-rate raw materials and imagination, a lot of imagination, we were impressed. Keep it up
Total disappointment
Of all the restaurants visited in Rome it was the worst.
The restaurant is nice, but its cuisine is not up to a Michelin star.
The dishes were well presented but the taste where it was?
On the other hand, prices were high.
Better to go elsewhere if you don't want to throw your money away.
Great restaurant. One of the best starred places I've ever eaten.
Congratulations to the chef and to all the staff. Truly a unique sensory experience in a location that enhances the unique flavor of the dishes. Undoubtedly a highly recommended place to savor traditional dishes revisited with creativity and wisdom by the landlord, chef Riccardo di Giacinto. For the first time I suggest you let yourself be inspired by the proposed menu and the professionalism of the guys in the room. You will not regret it. Surely my favorite part is when the laundry spoon arrives, but I do not want to spoil anything else!
Enthusiastic, good!
This is impossible!!!!!
Terrible experience
