Had the cornbeef hash breakfast and a waffle. Hash was good, had great texture which made me think it was homemade. Eggs were done righ as ordered. Waffel wasn't good. A good place to catch quick breakfast if you're in a hurry.

Our first visit to RIPS was an invite to join a group of folks with a Standing Date for Lunch every Monday. This group has been gathering for decades so we expected good food. What we experienced was GREAT food! The grilled salmon could not have been better prepared. RIPS serves Prime Rib for their lunches. Parking was convenient, restaurant is clean. We plan to visit the area again next year with a date at RIPS every Monday!

Delicious! Me and my man both had the Rib eye, one of the best steaks I've ever had! Everyone is so polite and our waiter Kevin was very attentive and informative. A homey vibe for sure. Definitely coming back soon!

Tried to get an accurate wait time from management was like pulling teeth. Didnt get a chance to eat. Hostess transferred my call without telling me and manager wasn't very helpful. No thanks Rips Country Inn.

Had to beg three times for a booth, got the wrong sandwich and had to eat it because the waitress never came back to our table. When she finally came back and we told her that we got the wrong food there was no apology. We then ordered a desert which they didn t charge us for but charged full price for the wrong sandwich that was barely touched. Would have preferred to pay for the cheaper desert and not full price for the wrong sandwich. Not sure if I will be going back there.

Highly disappointed in our dining experience at RCI. After placing our orders and waiting some time, my husband was informed he could not be served a medium rare steak. They only cook rib eye starting at medium with blackened seasonings- the special of the day. In return he was served a "well done" cooked steak. My rather dry chicken piccata had some sparse lemon sauce with a good amount of capers. Throughout the evening we watched our waiter provide excellent service to an adjacent table and the manager greet and visit every table in the room but ours. Perhaps our button down shirt attire wasn't dressy enough or our infant wasn't welcome (even though a booth next to us commented on his excellent behavior). What started out with amazing cornbread- left us wishing we hadn't decided to treat ourselves to a night out. We opted to skip dessert because we were tired of the double standard in service and general lack of concern toward all guests. It definitely didnt make us feel like "family" guests.

Great selection on spirits though relatively higher priced than others in the area. Oh, and don't order the steak and cheese: one of our brokers fell ill that last night (Friday) eating half (they're small to begin with, about 6 inches) of it. The next day, not thinking it was the cause of it, he ate the other half. He is laid low for the rest of this Easter Sunday holiday weekend.

After a long day of watching granddaughters soccer game and shopping. We decided to take a break and finally eat. Thought about eating at a dozen places but finally stopped at Rips. Although we don t eat here often it has been here forever. Maybe only a couple stops for us over the years. Well we are very happy we stopped in today. I had the special it was Black and Blue prime rib and it was delicious. We always share so it was surf and turf for both of us. Both our meals were great and so was the service. As usual no room for desert. It s always nice when the manager comes around and inquires about your meal. It was perfect!

Very good food and service from everyone. Highly recommended if you are in the area. It's location is on a busy highway, but access is easy from either direction. The menu should be able to meet your needs and I thought it was affordable. There is an attached liquor store with a good variety of wine and spirits. There is also a small store deli that you could restock if needed on your travels.

I like this place because it's great comfort food. I was disappointed for the first time in the cream of crab soup. It tasted like only cream and was awfully thick and barely had any crab. It won't stop me from visiting.

Great place for lunch. Bar height tables outside around the restaurant. We had a Reuben and a crab and bacon sandwich along with onion rings and fries..plus a cold beer or two. Food was delicious and our server was amazing... friendly and attentive. Love his Maryland flag mask.

First visit. Excellent prices and food. Table had ribs, meatloaf, hamburger steak and fried chicken. Fried green tomatoes too. Everyone agreed their food was great and dinner for 4 with drinks $109 plus tip. Super mashed potatoes, homemade, and gravy. Ample parking and nice bar for pre dinner drinks. Happy hour till 7 pm. Heineken $4!!! I will return on next trip to DC.

Went over this evening. 1st time visiting. Plan was to get liver & onions, until I saw the filet mignon. What a wonderful change of mind! Simply delectable. Cooked to perfection. Going alone, I hoped to read a book while I ate. Wait staff was courteous, without being intrusive. Attentive, without being bothersome. Absolutely planning a return trip. My server-in-training, Kevin, is doing it right!!
Highly recommend you stop in.

Service and food always great. Update on the buffet: its $20. No problem! They've now cut out the egg station and carving station with the ham and roast beef. Reduced the desserts station. Problem! This means you can no longer get eggs the way u like them nor have a choice of fresh eggs or liquid. They have put the omelets separately and you can order at no extra charge as long as you stay within the confines of the menu. Egg white omelet is extra! Desserts are cut to slivers of carrot cake, cookies, cupcakes, mixed fruit and bread pudding. They used have brownies and breads. The price was of course no reduced along with offerings. I was really disappointed! Oh well there is always golden corral.

My family and I thought the restuarant was quite good. The potato skins and hot turkey were very good as was the fried chicken and mac n cheese. Have to give them credit because this was one of the few restaurants were all the food was hot and not just luke warm. The only problem we had was that the stuffing was entirely to salty, like they dumped the whole salt shaker in it.
