The food is very bland so if you have kids or are old and on a restricted diet this is the place. Service was friendly. They definitely have good customer service just not the best food.

Food and service were amazing. My husband enjoyed the smoked salmon bit and I had the crabcakes eggs benedict. We shared the shrimp napoleon. All was great, in a great atmosphere.

I love Rips, have been going there since the 80s. Food is fantastic in the restaurant and so is the deli. The craft cocktails are expensive but every place with craft cocktails is, but at least they have them now.

Delicious subs and sandwiches. Sunday brunch buffet is amazing. Friendly staff with a smile and prompt service. Reasonable prices(under $10 for a sub and fries)

The quality of food in the restaurant has declined in recent years but the liquor store has an amazing selection.

New-to-me restaurant that's been here forever. This is my kind of place--homey, family atmosphere, comfort food, friendly wait staff. Perfect for a cold winter's day.

This restaurant is absolutely one of the most attractive place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I visit this place I am deeply pleased. They hold their very high level service and the topmost level of dishes they serve. You can never go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant, also had a store with a large variety of beer, wine and alcohol for sale. Also has a Deli made to order food. Must visit if you are in the area you'll love it!!

Had the parmesan panko crusted cod. It was delicious. The rice side it came with was just ok. The corn on the cob (veg of the day) was mediocre, and still had a lot stringy part of the husk on it. But that cod saved the visit...very very good, just choose other sides.

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the Reuben for carry out... both sandwiches were absolutely amazing! The facility was spotless and the staff looked top notch. I can t wait to go back!

The food is greatly improved here. My wife and I both had their Prime Rib special, and we loved it. They also have a very reasonable wine list and experty-crafted specialty cocktails.

I have been twice for lunch and the sandwiches are great. I also had the mac and cheese bites which are a must. It makes me curious about the other appetizers. I finished the meal with some carrot cake and coffee which i will get again. I want to try their sunday brunch sometime. I cannot wait to go back.

I love Rips Country Inn there Hunt Breakfast is amazing. Eggs cooked to order, my choice of breakfast meat, and pancakes to boot. It is enough food to make sure you start your day off full. If you want to be more new age, they have various 3 egg omelets that will do the trick also. Easy to find and get to from the freeway. I am gonna use this one for date night.

Nice spot for good sandwiches. The Big Shot is a winner!

Absolutely a place worth trying, the food is good and well prepared, the pricing is convenient and it is regularly clean here. 5 stars.

Waiter Tom made us feel VERY unwelcomed. Never introduced himself, greeted us or told us about specials. He just came to the table and ask what we wanted to drink, I had to ask his name. I didn't know they had specials until a trainee told the table behind us. The manager only made excuses for him and didn't bother to adjust our bill for the way we were treated.

My wife and I over all enjoyed our meal. The corn bread was good. The crab is fantastic, as a appetizer or on a burger. I have to dock a star for the (regular) fries that tasted of freezer burn. Personally, I wish they had potato wedges. The carrot cake would be better with butter cream, instead of cool whip. The staff was fantastic and very attentive. Overall a great location with better than average food, a good atmosphere, and reasonable prices.

The food is just boring. Recommended for those with allergy to seasoning or flavor...

It was clean, and the server was cordial when she got a chance to visit. The one server was servicing the 5-6 tables they had seated, by herself.

Mostly elderly patrons, which could explain the blandness if that's the target demographic...

Nice venue with friendly staff and a great beer selection. I got the Chicken Chesapeake and it was delicious.

One thing about Rip's liquor store they have very large variety of liquor and wine and beer the main thing that I like is all the different Liquors that you won't find another places. If you get a chance I would definitely check it out.

This spot is awesome! Good prices, considerable dishes and the staff are consistently very kind.

Bit into a chicken wing, did not notice the bone sticking out....very sharp end. Went up into the gum... could not eat dinner...So glad the manager thought it was funny....

The hot turkey sandwich is DELICIOUS! Get the the stuffing substituted for the bread, and it's like Thanksgiving dinner. Great place with great food!

Good food and service. Inquired about increasing their whiskey selections. Owner said they want to make sure they have the right bartender, but it somrthing they're working on. Honest answer.

Really good sandwiches, portions and prices! The sandwiches are always made to order and consistent. That's why we keep going back. The Gyro is my absolute favorite. My BF has loved the Mr. B on a subroll for a decade! The ladies are also really friendly. All around, Ripps is awesome and one of our favorite community businesses. The sandwich deli is such an excellent addition to the store!

Place use to be amazing til recently. Poor service. Takes forever to place order and certain servers are just rude.

Dinner food wasn't as good as their breakfast foods. Waitresses were too busy to wait on us properly.

The food is always delicious. Their crab soup is a must have. Just the right amount of spices. If you are a liver and onions fan, this is the place to go.

The atmosphere was festive and the decorations make you wish Christmas would get here sooner. The wait for food was a little longer than expected but the Servers are very attentive and even make suggestions on what food and drink items on the menu are good. The quality and quantity of food was awesome!

They have the widest selection of beer in the area. My go to spot since 2012. Great service!!!!

Liquor store well stocked and staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Not a very busy day it was around happy hour time they had the bartender working the bar taking tables doing service for the other side of the restaurant and doing to go orders. While a manager you stood there looking on. Food was good the drinks were good the bartender was very good a tall young man I can't remember his name great smile very friendly. But the only reason I gave 3 stars is because the bartenders patience and he was trying this hard as he could. While the manager what have you was just standing around and there was a couple hostess is not doing anything either. I have been going there a long time. But it has been years since I've been there. It seems they remember the good drinks and the good food but they forgot all about good service.

Fantastic restuarant for breakfast and lunch! I have not been here for dinner but if it's anything like breakfast and lunch I'm sure its delicious. The atmosphere is very Country (as the name implies). The service is great!

Valentine's Day - no wait! Seated quickly, service was good, only down side was they were out of a few dishes. Food was good, not the best but was a good last minute choice.

The food is tasty although the crab chowder is a little too thick more like a thick white gravy than chowder. The taste was very good though.

They recently renovated Rips, and it is MUCH nicer than it used to be. The food is still good and reasonably priced.

Wanted to eat there. I know at one time there food was exceptional. Just didn't have a hour to wait for a table.

The restaurant must be under new management The food had a Spanish flare about it. Sorry I well not be returning.

Literally the best food and service I have ever had! Our waiter, Stan, was BEYOND phenomenal. I would recommend this place and most especially the server, Stan, to anyone who wants to have an amazing experience dining out. Definitely will be back !

It's chilly time ! Liver& Onions fresh food, the servers are a bit unprofessional but if you can bypass there lack of courtesy the cooking is good. Service stinks

Very nice prices . Quick carry out food and Lottery.

We stop to get sandwiches from the deli about once a week. The sandwiches are made to order and are made like you would make them at home for yourself. We have never had a bad experience getting food from this deli.

Surprisingly diverse location with great beer wine and even a good food menu that's made to order. they also fill Growlers and have a very good beer selection

Historic Bowie restaurant with nice modern updates to the food and drinks menus. Rips now has the only craft bar in Bowie!

Seems like a nice place with good prices. Unfortunately we god a bad server and waited 40 minutes for our food. Will probably go back here again. If the server is better I'll give them 5 stars.

Rips is a great place for family dining, getting sandwiches and other items from their deli, and purchasing beer or wine. They've been a regional institution for as long as I can remember, and while I've not stopped by in some time, it's as good as I remember it. Friendly staff and great selection of items on their menu and in their store. You won't be disappointed!
