Robbed! On our second night staying in this hotel, my wife woke up to find the door ajar and her purse missing! Someone had broken into the room during the night and grabbed my wife's purse that was sitting just at the foot of the bed! Read the reviews on facebook, trip advisor, etc. this happens a lot. After my wife asked for another room because she didn't feel safe, they told her it would be approximately 5 hours before they could get us another room. Meanwhile we would have to leave all of our stuff in the room that was just broken into! After telling them this was unacceptable they finally moved us to a smokey suite, someone a couple doors down was smoking weed and you could smell it in the room. We spent about 4 hours at the police office filing a report, and the hotel did not try or want to do anything else. The crazy thing was that the police officer taking our report said someone staying at the RIO came in the day before and filled a police report for the same thing!!! They obviously have a problem! Also, if you want a hotel with a pool, go elsewhere. Our convention didn't get out until 5:30 everyday and the pool closes at 6. So, the next day we went on our lunch break and they were telling everyone they were closing down the pool for a "private party" for the rest of the day. There were quite a few people upset and we tried to talk to a manager only to be told that the pool was not part of nor an amenity of the hotel! What!? They were unwilling to budge so we contacted corporate (an awesome guy named Ben helped us) and really helped us out. He was the highlight of the week. The rooms were terribly outdated, worn furniture from who knows when. THE WORST experience I have EVER had staying anywhere.

Stayed here 3 times twice for work and this time with my wife for a trip. My wife and I did a lot of day trippin and rented a car so staying on the strip is almost not an option for us. That being said this hotel is solid and affordable with an excellent view of the strip should you choose that side. The service is great and the food here is wonderful. I also like the fact that unlike some of the less popular more expensive hotels on the strip (Monte Carlo comes to mind) the people who stay here really do seem to stick around and game versus just moving on to the next best thing so it gives a nice vibe to the place. I don't want to imply that Rio is run down because it is not but with all that it has going for it already I just know it would attract a lot more people and I would be able to give it 5 out of 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay and it is so close to everything. Easy access in and off the freeway to the hotel. The staff everywhere were so nice. We liked our housekeeper that cleaned our room. Her name was
Blanca. Such a sweet person and she did a great job on our room. Thank you Blanca.
Yes, we would stay again!!!

It's a little bit out of the way from the strip, but it's definitely worth at least ubering out to see.

2 stars taken off specifically because the Uber pickup location is all the way on the other side of the hotel from the taxi pickup. It makes it too inconvenient!

Hotel stinks of cigarettes. We got a non smoking room and it also stunk of cigarette smoke. They came and sprayed but nothing helped. We brought febreze and lysol but no help. The room next door was a smoking room and the smoke came thru. The best part was the pool but that closes at 6pm! No coffee in the rooms. Even cheap hotels offer coffee

Rooms are outdated. I use to like this hotel/casino but not anymore. Also I'm a truck driver and have to park quite a ways away. A couple years ago security would give you a ride to the front door, again not anymore. I drive at night and arrived here in the dark but they said they no longer do this. I also heard they plan on leveling this place in a couple years and building a stadium, think they should start now haha.

The rooms are disgusting, the casino is a joke compared to other hotels, and the dining is sub par. The Rio just isn't a premium hotel. If you are going to stay off the strip then you have to offer something else but they don't. The rooms are priced equally to far superior hotels. Skip on this hotel unless you need something last minute.

This is a terrible place to stay in Las Vegas! The furniture is damaged, dirty and stained, the mattress set is sunk-in in the center, the armoire is peeling, the couch is shredding and this is a Caesars hotel. The AC is old and has mold around the unit. The pillows are flat and deflated and needs replacing. The best thing about this hotel is the mini fridge and how spacious the rooms are. Save yourself the trouble and pay the extra bucks for a decent place to stay.

Good place to stay but the resort fee was almost as much as the price of the room and the pool wasn't even open! They should lower the resort fee when they don't have the pool even open. It's not on the strip which is a good thing and bad depending on what you're looking for.

The food in here is a little over priced but you're posting four convenience if you don't have a car.

While the price seems great, if you taxi down to the strip, you end up paying just as much as you would if you were to just stay on the strip. We checked in at about 10:30 at night and still had to wait about 30 minutes in line. I booked a KING non smoking room and we were put in a two queen smoking room. We were too tired to deal with it when we got there, so we let it be. We were on the 38th floor, which was beautiful, but the room was dirty. There were mashed up crackers on the side of the bed, stains that were crusty on the floor and the tub drained very slowly and poorly.

Stayed for a convention. The rooms are spacious, but a little dated. You must walk all around the casino to get to the hotel rooms. Floor 15 of the Impana tower has a strange wind-tunnel effect going on where the hallway has a slightly different pressure than the rooms. Staff were friendly. Queues for everything were very long during the convention, however once that ended and most of the visitors cleared out the lines were manageable.

It's nice staying here. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Stayed in the Masquerade tower, so we had views to the south west of the Vegas valley. Not bad. Had a fun time with friends. Needs to be able to connect more than 2 devices to internet though. Any more than 2 and you have to pay 15 bucks...no thank you. Otherwise, I'd recommend this place to friends and family.

Not!! I thought this was going to be a great resort with an amazing pool.... NOPE!!!! The first day here the pool was closed early and when I went to gamble on my favorite game, Missippi stud, they told me the game isn't Available tonight. I asked a so called manager and they told me to contact someone else. EVERY other casino I have been to doesn't have these problems! NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT WEEK!!!

Had a very disappointing experience at the Rio. My husband and I just got married in October. My brother-in-law made the reservations for us, and asked that both our names be added to the reservation. We booked it through a third-party vendor. When we arrived at the hotel, they would not let us check in, since the My name was the only name appearing on the reservation. Unfortunately, I have received identification in my married name, which is why we requested that both names be added to our reservation. I asked if my husband could check us into the room, and they manager replied, No!! He then asked us to call the third party vendor and come back to the counter when we had resolved the issue. He offered no assistance. After about an hour of trying to reach the third-party vendor to add my husband s name to our reservation, we gave up, and book another room at the Rio through a different vendor Priceline. Long story short, The third-party vendor, without contacting us to let is know this, added my husbands name to our reservation. And after waiting 30 minutes or so again in the line to check in, with my husband arrived at the front desk, they told him that he had reserve two rooms. We tried to explain that we only needed one room. Well, that didn t work out so well for us, they ended up making us pay for both rooms, which cost us about $500 out of our vacation budget. It was Thanksgiving weekend, and there we sat with 2 rooms, costing us over $1,000. I submitted a complaint to the complaint department, and got back a response basically saying, You booked 2 rooms. This is not our problem. My husband and I will never stay at the RIO- All Suites Hotel in Las Vegas. Worst customer service ever!!!!

This is a nice hotel. It is away from the Strip, but that seems to mean it is lower cost. The room was nice and large.

No one seems to have coffee makers in the room... I think Starbucks has paid them all off so that we have to go there for a coffee fix.

If the price was the same or close go to the aria, but if the Rio is cheaper it is a good choice.

Hotel staff are excellent. At the registration desk, processing was handled quickly and efficiently. Everything was explained with proficiency and courtesy. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Whenever I had a question and asked any staff member, they courteously and with a smile answered my question and if necessary gave me directions for where I needed to go. I had a great time.

If you are coming for the mermaid view to see them swim and the aquarium, you can literally put it on your list to only take up 5-15 minutes. I got beautiful photos (on my canon camera) and some on my other phone! We parked in the casino garage and had to walk, I seen parking and others go to the hotel and park. Especially if you'll only be running in a few minutes!! My kids are 7&9, not too impressed, but not at all disappointed!!

Very spacious rooms. Really comfortable beds. Staff is friendly. Only complaint is long it took to get in the elevators to go to the rooms or the first floor. Only two were working the whole weekend I was there but I understand how busy they can be. Other than that, will come back whenever I'm in the area again

Did the rooftop bottle service here and it was amazing! Definitely better priced than most bottle service options in the Vegas area. The weather was perfect for outdoor rooftop and the DJ that Saturday night was a good 7/10. We literally shut the place down and even then the staff were friendly and patient enough to show us the way out without aggression. Will definitely do it again!

We got a great deal on this hotel. We were excited because it was rated as a four star hotel. I was, however, underwhelmed at the condition of the suite I stayed in. The room seemed to be neglected with holes in the carpet, a hole with power cables running through it under the television and right next to the refrigerator and there was some kind of mess between the toilet and the shower.
The line to check in was ridiculous. I finally used a kiosk to check in, but I didn't feel like was going to get much help from the front desk because of my check in wait.
I will mention that I left my car keys in my room after I checked out. I called and they assisted me quickly, and they made sure it was me getting into the room which made me feel better.

It was ok for when we stayed. The rooms are bit outdated. The window that lets you see the person in the shower or on the toilet if the shower curtain isn't closed is a bit weird. The fake leather...pleather headboard was peeling. Needed a new coat of paint. Sort of reminded me of a 70s style home. (Colors and patterns, not the whole room)

Check-in and Check out was a breeze. No lines and kiosks for convenience. Room decor basic brown decor unlike the colorful pics I saw prior. Pool decent. One was hot other cold. No shaded pool chairs. Didnt dine at the restaurants there so I have no clue how the food options are. Location great, off the strip. Decent stay. Probably wouldnt return.

The room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed being on one of the upper floors! I thought this was a really nice hotel. My only complaints are that a go-kart race was happening the weekend we were there and they were really loud and woke us up at 7am every morning. My other complaint is that our door wouldn t automatically lock when we left, so each time we left the hotel, we had to open and close the door for several minutes until it would lock. We are hoping the hotel isn t being sketchy because there are a lot of reviews on here about people having their stuff stolen.

I give the Rio four stars because it's WAY too far off the strip which in the description it only says a mile (I beg to differ) and the bathroom was super dated. Outside of the that the room was great and surprisingly super quiet. There is a great restaurant selection if you don't want to keep paying Uber and taxi fees to go to the strip because it most definitely is NOT walking distance. The staff was SO friendly and helpful which made a huge difference as well. And let's not forget the STRONG never ending cocktails while we gambled!!! Over all it was a great trip for the price.

Probably the grossest hotel we ve ever stayed at in Vegas. There were tons of extra charges, even after the resort fees. The bathrooms had dirty grout, cracked and missing molding and we literally had garbage sitting outside our door from our neighbor and by our elevator from when we checked in at 2pm to when we checked out the next day at 9am. So gross.

Very dated rooms. Stained and dinged furniture and linens. Checkin was slow and direction's were not clear at all. Took 20 minutes just to find the elevator, and then it would not go to our floor! Had to take it to a floor above to take another elevator down to the correct floor. Asked about pool hours and was told it closed at 6pm. What pool closes at 6pm in vegas!? After changing we couldn't find the pool towels so I called to inquire and within 30minutes the pool hours changed to closing at 5pm! And pool towels are only at the pool and no one can bring us some. Don't stay here! I will never be staying here again!

I stayed at the Rio approximately 10 years ago as a guest for almost a week. The hotel was wonderful the rooms were nice and the staff is very friendly. More recently, I visited the Rio to eat at the World Buffet. The real has two buffets, one is seafood themed and has only seafood dishes. The other one is very large and serves a variety of dishes from around the world. I enjoyed my short stay at the Rio and the buffet was very good. I've always had good food at the Rio. I was however disappointed to see that the Masquerade show is no longer. Aside from that, the hotel is in great condition and has a lot of fun stuff to do such as shows, shops, and restaurants.

Definitely a one of the great old school casinos left in Vegas. Even though it isn't very old it still has a lot of great fun surrounding its design and convention center. Unfortunately They have stop doing some of the fun attractions that made this casino unique like the daily parade I don't see the singers as much and the mardi gras vibe is gone. Still love the all sweets motif. Beautiful views from all directions. Not to mention the view from the top of the club doesn't get much better.

Only went there to play mini golf which was pleasant. Used a coupon to make it reasonable. Fun course. Parking was free. The casino was dead quiet. Stark comparison to the ones on the strip. Played some black jack as well and enjoyed the table and atmosphere. However, there was a strong odor in one of the elevators that needed to be addressed.

Cool, bright, and awesome place. Finding your room might be a bit confusing at first but there are signs at the beginning of each hall where you'll be able to find your room. In the first floor there is the casino and gift shop as well places to get a snack/beverage. If you do plan on going here, have fun and play responsibly please (:

The non-smoking, Luxury suite I booked was a bit out dated. The room was large and clean but the cabinets were worned and a bit rough. A/C ran quiet and shower worked. The room had residual smoke smell. Asked front desk and all they did was ask the maintenance to sprayed the room. -1 star for that. Its about a mile walk to the strip so really recommend using uber or taxi. Free Parking out door can accommodate tall vans but longer vehicles will not be able to park as the lot is small and was full on Monday! Cars less than 7ft tall can park in the regular parking structure.

Saw Penn & Teller here. Show was amazing as expected and they hung out after the show to take pictures and sign autographs. They were really cool to talk to.

The staff going into the show were a little mean. I had gone to the doctor earlier that day and was given a prescription that required me to have water or juice to take with it at multiple intervals. They tried to make me throw away my sealed bottle. When I showed them the paperwork from the Dr visit, they held my bottle of juice hostage until after the show and gave me a tiny bottle of water to use instead. Thank goodness I kept the papers with me. I get that you want to sell drinks inside, but you should excuse medical situations!!
