We were disappointed that there didn t seem to be a single precaution taken to help stop the spread of Covid-19. There were no hand washing stations, no signs about social distancing in line, packed tractors full of unmasked people, and no rules about wearing masks at any time. We only saw one employee in a mask. This was in stark contrast the farm where we went for berry picking a few months ago and had all of these things. Even the employee at Riley s who you had to buy the apples from was not wearing a mask (and wearing a don t tread on me shirt which did not seem unrelated).

This did not seem like a business that treated the well being of its employees, customers, or community seriously and therefore we will not patronize them again. There are plenty of other places to go.

Really fun experience. Everyone was in their old gowns with new England accent. All staff stayed in character the whole time. Food had amazing flavor. Activities are fun, except for candle making. Lol... Stay away from the candle making, it's a trap. Lol...

They have every kind of jam you can think of. Apple sider in different flavers. Like raspberry or strawberry. Lots of souvenirs. Plus a hinking trail arcoss the parking lot. Has to be at least a couple of miles. Not sure on how far it is. But i made it to the top of the hill but turned around on the trail that kept going. Theres also a duck pond with catfish in it. Nice wooded area with big tree's with a trail

We went to the Christmas at the Colonies. It was top notch. The actors all in period costume. With a British accent too. Food was excellent. Music fun and beautiful. Carol singing and dancing fun. The reading of the Christmas story gave it all a reverence suitable to the occasion. Will go again next year. My grandkids loved it.

I made our reservations a month in advance for our family of 5. The tour had over 40 people and only 1 guide. It was chaos and an hour into the tour we walked away because my kids could not see a thing and they were tired of being shoved around by the other tour guests. Extremely overcrowded and poor planning/ scheduling. We decided to eat at the restaurant which has great reviews, however after being told we had a 40 min wait, we were then told it would be another 25 min, followed by another 15 min and lastly we were told it would be around another 40 min or so. We called it quits after that. Very disappointing!

I loved the apples here! I went here and got about 25 apples. They tasted so much better than store-bought ones. There are a good amount of bugs, but they only go for the apples on the ground. The price for the apples was WAY cheaper than I thought it would be. The scenery was awesome also. I really loved this farm. Thank you for great apples Rileys'!

We love Riley's Farm! Their Christmas in the Colonies is wonderful for the family. The colonial food at the Hawk's Head Tavern is delicious. Living history field trips bring history to life and are so much fun! Picking your own berries and fruit in their beautiful field is always a relaxing way to spend the afternoon, too.

Visited for breakfast and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Breakfast was filling and scrumptious. The bacon was perfectly crispy, not undercooked and chewy. The French toast was thick with cinnamon and a generous topping of ricotta and fruit. My husband's eggs were cooked to perfection. The sizing was generous.

I have been going to Riley's Farm since I was three years old. I always have fun with all the fruits to pick, the fun hayrides, and the delicious food. I recommend you visit it if you are in the area.

Cant think of anything bad about this place. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Rich in history - honest with the history they present, meaning you will find neither the current revisionist history that some people like to present without ANY evidence - but neither will you find any glossing over of the rough spots. But history isnt the only thing here - its a FANTASTIC place to just have a nice day with your family! Great food, plenty to do for grown-ups and kids, amazing atmosphere! Go here, you won't be sorry!

The happiest place on earth. It is exactly what you need to get away from it all. Great atmosphere - historical enlightenment - you actually get "seasons" up there (something most of California does NOT get) - u pick produce - a great restaurant and amazing dinner theater and events. Once you go once - you will go back consistently and bring your friends so they can experience the majesty of it.

I loved it there I went there on a field trip and it was chill with some snow and you should go see it if you like colombian times and the people there are very nice they have a colombian accent and use stuff that were used back then.

We went last week hoping to see some snow and get some Apple pie. We couldn t have been more pleased! It s an absolutely beautiful place and when we got there, there was 6 to 7 inches of snow! There was snow covered building and even snow in the trees! Our son brought his sled and was able to play on the property with other children. We got hot coco and a coke from the restaurant, but I wish we had got some apple pie, as it s their specialty and I ve heard it s so yummy. The staff was friendly and in pioneer attire. They were okay with all the extra company. I felt like it was a safe place for my son to play in the snow, while we enjoyed our coco!

First time my family and I visit rileys farm. Such an awesome place. Staff is very friendly. What a great experience. I didn't realize the place is so vast 760 acres. Wow. Will be going back next apple picking season. Most definitely. Riley family keep up the great work.

We paid 140 per child and adults total of 38 of us and these people were so greedy with dinner, breakfast, and only gave candy apples to a few kids whos answered some questions correct , for god sakes all of our children deserved a candy apple , for the price we paid to get them there, they got nothing for even participating in the acts these kids where soldiers for 2 day and did a great job listening, im just blown away with how they recieved nothing in return , sleeping in the cold , having to walk out to go to the restrooms , ughhh It was just WRONG

The food at the restaurant was mediocre at best and ridiculously overpriced. The apple pie was uninspired and tasted like it came from a grocery store. The grounds were also in poor condition. I have to say I was very disappointed in Riley's Farm.

If you're looking to go apple picking in a colonial setting, look no further. Riley's Farm appears to be a fall tradition in the IE. Got a huge bag of apples, a pie, and a tri-tip sandwich. My only complaint is that it's a bit too crowded for my taste. Luckily, there are other apple orchards in the region.

Be ready for family fun and some hiking! The road is dusty so you will get dirty. Overall it is fun to go apple, flower, and pumpkin picking with the kids. The cider and pies are great. Worth the trip. The BBQ is expensive and not good, so I suggest you take your own lunch.

I had to give it one star because all the pears we picked were rotten in the middle! We didn t pick any from the ground...just straight off the trees. I ve gotten their pears 3 years ago and they were delicious. I don t know what happened, but be aware. $3 per pound is already expensive but it would have been worth it if their fruit was good quality. But it is not! I wish I could post a picture.

My Daughter and I ordered 5 pies about 10:30AM, just after arriving with my grandkids.
I was told they would be ready after noon. They took my money and then put me on their paper list. There was a large shelved area behind the counter where they place the pies that were already ordered and paid for, seperating them from available pies for sale. We spent the day (and a lot of our money) visiting the venues around the property.
I returned at 3PM and they had re-sold my pies to someone else.
There were 7 or 8 families behind me in line with a similar experience.
My family and I will not be returning to Riley's Farms.

I'm a little biased as I worked here for a few months... but I love this little farm. The atmosphere is lovely, it's very picturesque. The food in the tavern is delicious. The pies are amazing. Some of it is a little pricey, especially berry/apple picking, but it's a good experience and good way to support this great little place.

The first time we went there was with a Groupon (can't remember if last year or year before) and we were surprised...the place is rustic but beautiful, it transports you to another time and the food was great, over the time I have lost count of how many times we have been there for breakfast but yesterday was our first time for dinner my husband had the "Cottage Pie" and I had the "Forfar Birdie" (with the ginger/orange carrots) and it was superb...oh we love it!! And we ended with a slice of Martha Washington's chocolate mousse cake....ahh we were happy when we left.
