So, completing an insurance quote for my partner. Got quoted online at one price.
Ami the lady from the office rang to confirm all details, it was apparent that I had entered details incorrectly. A slight change in job title and I had put he was single and not common law, I had also declared 2 convictions that were no longer deeded to be detailed so needed to be removed.
Fantastic, surely removing two convictions and declaring he wasn't a single boy racer would reduce my original quote.
Bare with me Ami advises, I just need to speak with the underwriters and get your quote amended. 15 mins later.... Oh hello, the underwriter has said your quote will be an extra 27 a month. Wow wow wow Ami Love, stick those convictions back on pet I will have the original price thanks. To which Ami replied well to do that it may increase again as its a different time of day now.
So as words of warning. Don't bother with these. Second year on the trot the underwriters have needed to add money on. If I didn't pay a couple of hundred quid deposit I most certainly would have cancelled.

Wanting to cancel my insurance policy before my cooling off period ends but each time i call this is the busiest department and i have to request a call back, which never comes, i'm now waiting my 4th day for a call back. I cannot cancel this policy now funnily enough
APPALLING! Do not have any dealings with this scamming company. They try to rip you off money for changes that they themselves impose on you though scare tactics. We tried purchasing car insurance with them and haven t even finalised the policy and they made unfounded charges over the phone than argued over hours and hours after us trying to call back to claim our rightful money back from them. Customer service inexistent, awful people who only tried to scam us for more money in charges to a policy which wasn t even fully finalised on my name. After completing the online purchase in which I put all the right information they sent back confirmation of purchase with wrong information prompting me to call them to make a change of information. They then asked for more and more information to then come up with more changes to your policy fees . Extremely dodgy business, which professionally scams innocent people under the false pretext of legal charges . DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!! If you are unlucky enough to already have bought insurance with them, DO NOT COMMUNICATE OVER THE PHONE!!! Deal with them ONLY IN WRITING and involve ombudsman whenever you re even slightly unsure of one of their charges applied to you.

Right choice insurance is literally the pain in your ass, this name is funny too, it s never been right. They don t even bother to call you. Always sending you a text to ask you to call them back. Which usually takes half hour to wait for someone to pick up the phone. What an experience.
Awful!!!! Waiting hours on the phone trying to get a refund. They charged me the policy and then they declined my insurance without no reason. Still waiting for a refund since I paid one week ago. They give you a cheap price by compare sites and then after an hour by phone they always raise the price.

Reasonably priced bike insurance policy. Rang and they answered immediately. Paid for the insurance and waited for documents to arrive.
Eventually they did and they requested certain items. Such as copy of driving licence and dvla code to access my licence. Proof of no claims and signed copy of proposal.
I sent all these items and yet they keep texting me to say they haven't received them. I have rung them several times each time you get put on hold for 15mins and then they cut you off. After an hour of this I have given up.
Simply vote with your feet and use someone else pay more and get the phone earlier answered. I have resorted to email but still not got a reply. I hate to give them such a bad review at this stage but it's clear to me they have no idea what they are doing.
I will try a local broker next time and pay a bit more but at least I will sleep at nights

The agent himself was incredibly helpful. But I got a text 2 hours later asking me to call and advising I m not covered until I do....I was already out in said car!!!! Called, on hold for ages. Emailed, no response, what the hell am I supposed to do??!! Certainly wouldn t recommend. Still no idea if I am insured or not. Sat at the road side too scared to drive anywhere!!

This is scam where they offer low quotes and take the funds. Later they don t provide you with any policy and no way they refund you. Please file straight away small claim through legal procedure which is the only way to get your money back. You can also apply for time wasting and other compensations. Be aware very big scam I am already going through and will spend all my time to acknowledge everyone in this country.

Stay away!! Give cheaper quotes online than they actually provide. On hold for over 1 hour to speak to a sales rep. When i cancelled only 2 hours later they passed me to 4 different people who said they were unable to process a refund even though the policy wasnt even live for another 2 days and then i was on the phone for a total of 2 hours 48 minutes.

I can honestly say i had No idea what was said to me .. I thought I was talking to a robot . No interaction , no pause , no thought for the persi down theend of the phone who IS the CUSTOMER r . Just rattled through it like I was nothing . I'm looking for insurance elsewhere before 14 days is up as I'd like to be insured by people who care about customers . Not robots . Customer service is appalling, they rang me put me on hold for 20 minutes then hung up.They then failed to ring me back, it then took 30 minutes to get through to them. I was not given all the information initially which has resulted in me cancelling my policy and, under their terms and conditions they have kept all my payment bar 14 pounds, which was something else not communicated.
They failed to give the facts which makes them a questionable company. That coupled with the patronising customer service assistant I have just dealt me leads me to recommend you take your business elsewhere.

If there was an option for a zero star I would have given that. It is the worst insurance company I have dealt with. I got my car insured 5 days before the insurance was actually expiring. After 6 days they called me to tell that I have made a mistake on my form and the new insurance premium would be approx 600 more than what I had already paid. As I was in my 14 days period I asked them to cancel my insurance as I was not ready to pay 600 more. They said fine but they will be deducting 135 from my refund for just 3 days of insurance. I have taken this matter to ombudsman. They are absolute fraud company, I am really surprised ho are they allowed to do business. NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS with them

There are so may insurance companies out there is can be a daunting task trying to find the right one at the best price. Never had such bad customer service in my life over two hours waiting for someone to answer, asked for my no claims after my policy ended and i went with another company for them to ignore the request and for me to then be charged by my new company. Yes like most people on the reviews I was charged 60 pounds just to change my address, then I was charged 253 pounds to change car . Like most people on here I'd agree wen you do the comparison right choice come up 1st with a really good price but the 2nd year they actually rob you silly, I am cancelling my policy on Monday and going eleswere , do NOT use this company they will bleed you dry!!!!!

The worst company I have ever dealt with. had a problem with my insurence on there part so phoned them to sort it out. In the 2 hour phone call I spoke to 9-10 different people giving my info to every person, every one I spoke to didn't know what the hell they where doing and even spoke to 2 departments that don't even deal with insurence. The last person I spoke to said she needs to speak with someone about my insurence and she would call me back and not heard anything back. If your looking for an insurence broker then stay well clear of this company. I would rather give no stars to this so called company but had to give at least 1.

Ten minute wait for call to be answered, however when it was answered the service was professional and efficient and the policy issued at exactly the same premium as quoted on line. Documents sent by email almost immediately. So far, good service and if the phones could be answered quicker would have received 5 stars.

This is the worst insurance company in the UK easily. Their customer service is insulting, pathetic and they will lie to you as much as possible. Their employees are rude, no matter who you talk to in the company. The only time they are nice to you is when they want money from you. The fact this company still exists is an insult to everything right and good. This company deserves to be investigated and closed immediately.

Right choice? More like the WRONG CHOICE. they demand money with no explanation no proof or evidence you have to pay because they threaten to cancel your policy. They said i went over my mileage and they calculate this from MOT TO MOT? Not from when the policy starts. What a joke. Everyone's circumstances change from year to year. They come up with this conclusion only because i was going through a claim which was not my fault. I have emailed and called several times no response.
I have bought a policy from them, but honestly it is beginning to look they are dodgy, but I can't conclude yet until I am certain. Firstly the quote I got online was altered after I have contacted them. I sent them the documents they asked for and they are still asking I should send them same documents. They seem very disorganised, If I survive this year with them, I may not continue with them. I dislike an organisation that don't seem to know what they are doing. They have already roped with with one close brother company which I hardly know, they didn't inform me before they did. I wonder if they are even trained when it comes to data privacy.

However you have serious structural issues that need resolving. To simply exchange vehicles, albeit it was a car to a van which apparently is not straight forward took me the best part of four hours on the phone between last night and this morning. I spoke to Danielle last night who again was a credit as an individual, she tld me that a manager called Dean would call me at 09.00hrs today to sort things out, I never did receive a call and had to proactively contact you again.
Your company seems to have serious problems when calls have to be passed between departments and individuals.
Perhaps the most efficient way to run your call centre would be to make each operative multi-competent so that they could handle all aspects of a customers needs. This would perhaps provide job satisfaction for your colleague to be able to see a job through and have some form of ongoing ownership of a customers 'file'. Conversely for the customer, he/ she would have a focal point in your business to refer to and feel more valued.
There was/ is an old 'addage' "softly, softly catchee monkey" perhaps that should be translated to your business needs - treat your customers skilfully and empathatically then you will (capture) get their business!
Took policy out online only for them to say a detail was wrong so would have to repeat the whole process. The detail that was incorrect they said was that they had put mrs instead of mr and magically the price went up several hundreds of pounds. Then getting my money back was even harder, I had to chase it daily they even emailed me to say it had been done only to discover a week later they hadn t at all. It is impossible to get through to anybody and you are left on hold constantly. At one point they left me on hold for 40 minutes while they checked a detail . And another time I was on hold for 2 hours just to get through to customer service. This experience seems to be a regular occurrence when I later checked them out on Trust Pilot. I would advise people to avoid them like the plague.

Spent total of 50 mins on call, advisor re-confirmed everything again which was unnecessary. Told me NCB was not protected. When i did quote online I did put down NCB to be protected. Advisor compromised and did not add anything to quote. Furthermore, given incorrect info as what to provide once I made payment. I was told have to provide signed proposal form, NCB proof and picture of driving licence. Actual things I had to provide was Copy of the front of your driving licence photocard. Driving Licence must match policy address.-Copy of the back of your driving licence photocard. -DVLA Check Code. -No Claims Bonus Proof (Within the last 2 years & obtained from your last insurer. We are unable to accept schedules, statement of facts, statement of insurance and policy details.) -Copy of the V5C registration certificate ( log book ) for vehicle MD08 LUJ. Please ensure all 4 pages are enclosed.

Cheapest insurance on the market to draw you in and then they put your insurance up at any chance.
My log book was getting sent of to be in my name 1 week later they charged me an extra 200 pounds for that.
2 months later they ring up and say we are sorry we are cancelling this insurance as we have decided that we will no longer insure house parents. After 300 deposit, and 180 instalment they cancel it.
Worst insurance ever.
My parent also got insured and because she said she had been driving 1 month longer they said they would make her pay an extra 30 pound or the policy would be cancelled.
