Amazing Food, amazing service, amazing experience!

Thank you Richmond Station for making my fiancee's 30th birthday one of the best!
Sit at the Chef's table, the well organized staff will amaze you with their skills.

First restaurant experience in Toronto! The food was good (I particularly liked the dessert which featured an unexpected combination of corn, blueberry, and butterscotch flavors) but what was even better than the food was the service! The staff was always checking in on me, they were fun to speak with, they gave detailed explanations on all the food items (which always helps you appreciate what you're eating!) and one staff member even offered to provide me with a list of further restaurant/activity recommendations during my stay in Toronto. Great first experience! Thanks, RS!

Amazing appetizing food, and definitely picture worthy. courteous staff abd great vibe. Its small but cozy.

Food took a while to come out considering it wasn't busy at the time. Burger was amazing. It was definitely a slider though. Ravioli portion size was too small for a main dish. Wine was good but overpriced.

Highly recommend! Love the food, and the staff is very pleasant. Went during Winterlicious as well as during lunch and I was extremely satisfied!

My family of 4 did the tasting menu and it was one of the most wonderful experiences. They provided us with so much information about the courses, the wine pairings were delicious and spot on, and they shared where all the food is sourced... all local ingredients! Even the ricotta was made from scratch. We loved the milk punch - a dessert drink (I think I have the name right?) Thank you Richmond station for the incredible evening!!!!

Great upscale dining experience! The staff are knowledgeable and know the menu well. The fresh oysters, polenta fries, and tom yum roasted black cod were all well-crafted and delicious. Would highly recommend for a special night out!

Delicious food! We were a small party of 3 and tried each other's dishes. Every bite was interesting and unique. The staff clearly love working there and were very informed about the dishes and how they were prepared. We had a birthday girl who was a fan of the Top Chef show so it was extra exciting to get a tour of the kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Overpriced... It was just ok. There are better places in TO where u can eat better food for less.

While the space here was a bit narrow, it posed no detraction from our enjoyment of the place. This is the first time where i've had the eating of food be such an experience!! Absolutely phenomenal, the couple of different appetizers my partner and i shared each delivered such a unique tasting experience: the melting of the different tasting notes and textures were just beyond anything i've ever had. The entrees were also very good, and cooked beautifully; my partner raved about the duck 2-ways, meanwhile i still dream about the duck liver mousse.

I went in with high expectations and was completely blown away by just how good the food is. Surprised they don't have a star.

... and that is just an Appetizer sampler. It gets even better from there. Amazing place showcasing sumptuous flavours, inspired technique and down-to-earth staff. Should be a category

Incredible place. The servers exceed my expectations every time I come here and the food is always delicious.

Had such an amazing dining experience here. We made reservations for the chef's table, which I highly recommend to everyone. You will be seated in front of the kitchen and served a tasting menu. The menu is customized according to your dietary and personal preferences so not everyone sitting there had the same meal. It does get really warm in those seats so a fan or something would have been nice but would still go back.

First of all, the service was very attentive and informative. I like to ask questions about the food and everyone there was able to happily answer all of my questions. Which made me enjoy the food so much more.

The food was delicious and you could tell that a lot of care and attention went into making each dish. Hands down one of my favourite meals that I've ever had. We were totally stuffed by the end of it.

This place receives a lot of hype. I've been here for lunch twice. The food is meh, but the atmosphere is nice: bustling, electric with a laid-back professional crowd. Ask to be seated at the Chef's Table where you have a full, open view of the magic happening in the kitchen. Good for vibe, ok for food.

Had lunch here. Great craft beers. Excellent ambiance. The Richmond Station burger is extremely popular, and while expensive at $22, you won't regret it. Tip: Make a reservation at least a day in advance. Also, Saturday lunch features their slow-roasted delicacies. Get there by 11:30am if you want a seat, as they fill up fast!

They have a lunch prefix menu with salad or soup as a starter and then a main. The dessert is half price for the prefix. Good taste and nice service!

My friend and I decided to try out this top rated Toronto restaurant. As expected, the food was amazingly delicious & fresh. Five starts.

The service was a 4 at best. It is definitely not one of your posh restaurants service - if you don't have a reservation, the hosting staff doesn't really attend to you needs while waiting, almost as if she wants us just give up on waiting.

Amazing food with phenomenal service . Upon entering the restaurant we were treated with a very warm welcome. Our server Addie was exceptional, he definitely made are dining experience more enjoyable with his wonderful personality and infectious laugh. I have to say that my dining partner has a lot of food preferences and we didn t make his job or the kitchens job easy but they accommodated us without so much as bating an eyelash . The food quality was superb, well balanced and delicious ! A must when in Toronto .

Called in same day and was able to make a reservation for 2 at the chef table. It was an amazing experience to see all the cooking and talk to the different chef's. Everyone at Richmond was fantastic and very friendly. I didn't know they had a tasting menu (runs about $60-70), and I would have opted for that had I known! The food was very creative and had very unique tastes to them. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Richmond station is our favorite restaurant in Toronto. There's always a local special and everything is well prepared. Be sure to get a reservation or plan an alternate as they get extremely busy--even to the point of not answering the phone.

Well, we left because our table wasn't ready; then the phone rang and the greeter was asking us to come back because a table was free! First time it's ever happened, although it's not often that I leave a restaurant without eating. We went back. Good decision. The best meal that we have had in a restaurant for a long time. Great tastes, fresh food, super service. Visit if you can. Thanks Mandy for having the chutzpah to call us back.

Had the lamb croquette for lunch (daily menu), but had to leave quickly. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten, and I plan on finding out when they are serving this again so that I can go back an enjoy it slowly. Highly recommend the chef's table, it was neat to follow along.

Used to work here during my canada stay, all I can say is it doesn't get better than this quality- and hygienic-wise. Ate here myself, too, and it's fantastic. Carl Heinrich is an awesome chef.

I was a little leary when my wife said Richmond station. I honestly thought it was going to be a greasy spoon. Much to my delight I was wrong. We did the chefs menu. It was nothing short of dish after mouth watering dish. I have not had a better prepared steak ANY WHERE then I had here. Hats off to the chef.
It was also a pleasant surprise to find that they served Frape & Sons bitters, which is a great little start up based out of North bay. Bravo Richmond Station, you will seee again !!!

Went with my brother and we both enjoyed the chef's menu. We decided on the smaller of the two since we were hoping to be done in closer to two hours as opposed to three. We both loved the variety and complexity of each course. Will definitely make it a point to stop by every time I'm in Toronto from now on. Keep up the good work.

Lovely place! Just stopped here for a quick bite and drink, but wish we could have stayed longer. Small place means a bit of a wait, but definitely a great food and service experience. I'm also a Top Chef fan

The food exceeds expectations in every way. Start to finish was enjoyable and beyond fantastic. Appetizer=4/5; Entree= 5/5; Dessert=4/5. Thank you for such a great experience.

We opted for the tasting menu and it was 9 courses of well plated, excellent tasting food. Great variety from oysters, to fish, meat and salads. Nothing disappointed. We sat at the chef's table and really enjoyed seeing the inner workings of the kitchen. Staff were very courteous and explained each dish which only added to the experience. Highly recommended.

Unpretentious, great food and experience, not overly loud.

If you love burger's and you haven't tried The Station Burger yet, you're doing something wrong. Being at the right place, at the right time mean's you get the pleasure of trying their seasonal favourite - the earl gray cheesecake, looks like art and tastes like heaven.

The food is pretty good but also quite expenssive. Not a place to go for a quiet meal but would be great for a group.

Definitely one of the best restaurants we have visited in Toronto. We would highly recommend the Richmond Station. Superb service and amazing to watch the chefs at work. Please book well in advance .

We have a bad experience in this restaurant, we started a nice evening my husband and I to laugh but they spoiled us, to begin they forgot to settle down we waited for one before claiming and then they installed at the bar to wait again and forgot again, then after property claim they gave us a place next to the kitchen with poor service the only touch that made us continue the evening it was the waitress who speaks french and very fine, otherwise even the food is not worth it is not exceptional, we do not recommend it and do not go back

Words can not describe how amazing this place is. My friends had treated my husband and I to dinner as a wedding present and can I say, we were not disappointed! My friends had organised for us to have a tasting menu where they asked for any dietary requirements and then worked their magic! Each course they produced was so delicious we couldn't figure out how they would be able to do any better and they always surprised us. We were every very fortunate to go for a tour through the kitchen and have a photo with Chef Hayden. Do yourself a favour and go. But do ensure you book at least a month in advance, you do not want to miss out!

Delicious food! I had the cherry tomato salad as a starter and the curried scallops as a main. Wonderful. My husband had the cucumber salad as a starter and the lamb as a main. Also delish! We shared a zucchini cake for dessert (picture) which they decorated for us.

I went there on a Sunday for brunch, they said special I said yes. I can't recount all the ingredients that went on to my plate, but it made a combination of textures and flavors that was absolutely enthralling. So I tunneled in on it and looked up from my plate 8 minutes later with brief pauses for conversation and it was gone. So long story short yes this place has really good food 5 stars.

The food and service is incredible. A great spot for anything from business lunches to a night out with friends and family. The menu is always changing and the staff is delightful.

Honestly the most average burger I had was here. The burger I had was good but nothing I'd go rave about on the paper or a site . I'm baffled at how many people are putting down rave reviews. I even double fussed myself and went here twice ... Alas it was just average

Very tasty lunch. Obviously farm to table stuff, good food, nicely curated drink menu. We really enjoyed it. They asked about allergies on seating, which was nice. Clearly they could handle allergies. Interesting takes on the dishes, and delicious.

We were seated at the Chef's table so we had one of the best views as we looked straight into the kitchen. Our waitress took our orders and served us over the wall to the kitchen. Loved being able to see my food being made in front of me. The salads were really tasty and my main of grilled Cornish hen was tender and perfectly seasoned. The dessert for me was the main highlight. I had the London Fog cheesecake which was beautifully presented and was extremely well balanced in flavour. One of the best desserts I've had for sure. The waitress was attentive refilling our water and making sure we had everything we needed without being pushy.

Very trendy food, very tasty. I recommend the place for a nice dinner in a quite cozy atmosphere. I particularly recommend the desserts. And the waiters are very helpful and polite too. BEST

Second time there, great food and service. Very noisy and hot.

We ended up in Toronto last minute and were able to get some last minute reservations. We sat facing into the kitchen. We did the prix fixe and every course was great. Staff really went above and beyond at every opportunity. Also the prices were a great deal, I can't think of any other meal I've had near this quality that was such a value.
