One of the greatest meals I've ever had. Shared a 9 course chef's menu with the girlfriend and we were texting our friends to try this place by the 3rd course. Great atmosphere, great service, great food.

The manager there is exceptional. She made sure our party of 10 had an amazing dining experience. Food was incredible, every dish was unique and creatively paired with delicious wines. One of the best meals I've had in this city. The zucchini soup was to die for.

Simply an impeccable dining experience. Everything from the stemware to the attention to detail in the service created a marvelous lunch for me and my girlfriend. Watching the skill at the chef bar was inspiring.

Terrible experience. I went for my birthday, we did a reservation and they sat us down on the worst place. We had to request to be moved. Nothing special about this place. Food is simple, as well as the atmosphere.

The best experience I have ever had at a restaurant, to date. As soon as I was sat down, they asked if I had any allergies so they could actually change their menu just to fit me! Absolutely fine food for a very reasonable price, the fact that you can actually get this quality of food for this price is amazing.

Stopped by here for lunch. It was pretty busy but service wasn't terrible. I honestly can't remember exactly what I ordered but I had a lot of high expectations for the place since I had heard amazing things and it was ok. My biggest complaint has to be the portion sizes. I don't have a big appetite but I thought I could have eaten a bit more which is unusual. The only reason I support it is because it features local produce and they cook seasonally as much as possible if I remember correctly. I wouldn't pay close to $100 for lunch for two (without drinks) again.

A fantastic restaurant which is lively and vibrant. I could say the food menu is a bit limited but each dish is described well and has great taste and flavors. The center table seating is the best place to sit and staff are friendly and give nice suggestions. Starters I would recommend the duck and also their desert selection is unique. I suggest you try the "belo"..Hope I got that right. Nice place to be with friends. Good food. Just be sure you make reservation before you go especially on weekends. A good location next to sunset grilled and a parking lot.

Situated on Erie street, Nico's is on a drag occupied by a bunch of Italian restaurants. Clearly, Italian is what this neighborhood specializes in. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated in their cozy dining room. To start, we shared some mussels and calamari...both excellent. For my main dish, I ordered the seafood linguini,

The food is good but because I was going in with high expectation based on other reviews, it turns out to be just OK. Don't get me wrong, it is still good, especially the burger, just not as good as what I was expecting. Service and the dining environment is excellent. Presentation of the dishes are also great.

This is by far the best burger in the city. The service is great and the ambiance is fun. They have a seating time limit to give way to the other customers. Just letting you know in advance.

Absolutely incredible. We ordered a fixed prix lunch off the chalk board menu and every bite was perfect. For $24 we each had a stater (a bright and flavourful parsnip root soup) and a main. I had the lamb (pictured). Everything was fresh and creative. The restaurant was way smaller than I had expected, which added to its charm. Service was warm and extremely professional. It's very close to the Eaton's Centre. Highly recommend!

I had read the reviews and was expecting casual yet more refined diner. At the door, I was greeted warmly and was seated immediately with a warning that without a reservation I had the table for 2 hours. That was fine.
Started with a drink and a salad. Their Beet and Fennel salad was dressed perfectly with beet dressing which was excellent. Tanginess of honeycrisp was a good match with roasted beets. Heritage chicken was very disappointing. Overall, it was very salty. I asked the server about the green sauce. She simply said "sauce verde", nothing more. Sometimes different kitchen has its own unique ingredients. I was asking that not the name. BTW, I'm no chef but I think "sauce verte" or " salsa verde" is the right answer. Or that is the name of their unique sauce, i don't know. Also, with Duck Two Ways, I asked another server about the tubular side. She replied "croquettes" simply. No description of ingredients.
I don't expect recipes but the servers need to be a bit more trained. They are not professionals.
"Duck Two Ways" was good.

I was given a nice table in the back that was perfectly out of harms way during a bustling lunch hour. The service was perfect (and thus a four star rating) but my Bean Curd mains was lacking in everything but volume with some left unfinished. The dish just didn t work which was too bad because our humus app and my lunch guests salad were five star.

One of the best food I have recently had. Great taste and very nice presentation. The staff are super friendly. I had salmon, my husband had duck and both were delicious. Totally recommend them.

Three stars only because it was exactly what I expected. $32 lobster spaghetti was lifeless, bland, forgettable, lobster overcooked and flavorless. Did not order shares or dessert.

There were tables vacant with no reservation signs on them when we arrived and we were asked to wait standing at a bar table. The girl brought us the drinks menu and the food menu for us to look at. We waited for 15mins and no one came near us. So we left.

Food is unique and modern. The waiters and waitresses are excellent. the atmosphere. amazing. The only problem is to keep the same quality is not always possible for restaurants like this. I hope they always have the same quality. I would suggest not to eat meat all the time.

Came here for my son's 13th birthday. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They were so gracious and actually let my son go to the back where the chefs were to make his own desert. Even got to talk to one of the Top Chef stars. Will never forget the experience or the food. Highly recommend. EVERYONE was sooooo nice!

My husband and I went there on a Tues night. It was busy so we had to wait for half an hour at 5:30... Ok not that bad... But the menu was so limited and all the research I had done on google and Yelp didn't show up on the menu except one dish:Eurobrass. I ordered that and my husband didn't find any dishes appealing so he ordered their burger. His burger had a big portion of fries which made him grossed, and my Eurobrass was drenched in oil beneath. I love fish and seafood and almost never leave behind anything in my plate especially when it costs $28! But I couldn't finish it and felt so sick of the oil (which tasted not good either... Not sure if it was olive oil) but I'm so disappointed...

Traveling by myself for work, was seated at a long table, had the burger which was pretty good, star of the show were the Rosemary Fries- they were amazing, nice and crispy, perfectly seasoned. Really good service as well.

Came again for my wife birthday. Never a disappointment with tasting menu. Tasting menu they gave us a 8 weeks dry aged steak and it was something amazing. Dessert was also a surprise for this time.

Loved this hidden gem of a restaurant while visiting in the midst of a workday. Food wise I enjoyed the pumpkin soup, it was heavenly creamy and the flavours were amazing. The ricotta bruschetta and the polenta fries were a good touch too. Best was the oyster mushrooms which were nicely deep fried and retained the crispness. Will visit again!

I love this restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff are excellent, and they are very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Only downside is you need to book reservations so far in advance because they are so popular!

Believe the hype. Quality service, good presentation, and wonderfully tasty food.
I had the burger and everything down to the bun and pickle is made in house. Perhaps this is the reason that it was the best I have ever tried. I will be going back again and look forward to trying out the other options.

They didn't have a 10/5 otherwise I'd give that rating. We got there and the place was *packed*! The vibrant atmosphere was at once energizing and welcoming, a challenge in a busy restaurant.
We were seated with a view of the kitchen, a view I thoroughly enjoyed. It was delightful to watch such a professional crew work at a furious pace to get the food out. Like ballet for foodies.
I got the sirloin special with roasted veg and potato, lemon hollondaise sauce on a bed of au jus and it was not just a feast for the eyes.
The steak was done to a beautiful medium rare and it was fantastic. With a beautiful char at the very edges to provide a bit of smokiness to the interior that was a bright red and piping hot, I couldn't find a thing to complain about!
I would heartily recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a good steak. You won't be disappointed.

It was good however, I'm consistently not pleased with the beef served in Canada. I think my experience would of been better if I didn't order the sirloin.

Also 2 appetizers plus 2 mains is way too much for 2 people. Don't go their starving ;)

Take the time to visit this restaurant! They have a wonderful prix-fixe menu if you want to try a few different items, but their regular menu is also full of delicious items! If you want a real treat then try to get a seat at the kitchen as you will be able to watch the chefs prepare your meals. Oh, and their desserts are absolutely wonderful.

The food here is unbelievable! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu. If you sit towards the back, you have the opportunity to see the chefs work in action. I highly, highly recommend this place. Also, their London Fog dessert was to die for!

Initially I was impressed with the place, nice atmosphere, good seating, food was great. Loved the hostess. She was so sweet. The main course and drink came. Meal was delicious. That's when things went down hill. I asked for a menu to get dessert. No one came back for 30 minutes. Finally I just asked for the check. So I could leave. That's why my rating dropped from 5 to 2. Sometimes simple things are the most important.

One of the best places to eat in downtown Toronto/financial district (dine-in or takeout). The menu is based on seasonal ingredients which is always good. Innovative, fresh, and delicious food is what you ll get here.

Toronto's restaurant scene is very insipid for a city of its size. I am pleased to say that Richmond Station is a diamond in the rough. The service was impeccable from start to finish and the food amazing. For starters we ordered the duck confit lettuce wraps: small portions but beautifully served and just the right amount of spice. For such small starters they were powerfully tasteful. Mains were rabbit 2 ways and lamb merguez pasta. Tasty and perfectly cooked. Cocktails were a decent size and staff were more than willing to customise. We were seated in the back with a reservation request to be seated in view of the kitchen honoured. The atmosphere was lively, decor simple but nicely appointed. Unfortunately our experience was slightly soured by the woman sitting next to us who vocally objected to taking photos of food - the most uncivilised behaviour I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Word of advice: don't vocally make crass assumptions about fellow diners out loud, it is incredibly rude. Make of that what you will in terms of the clientele this restaurant attracts but obviously the restaurant cannot be faulted for this. That aside we thoroughly enjoyed Richmond Station and highly recommend it. We will definitely return to take more photos.

Great place to have some appetizers!! The foie gras entree and the steak tartar entree are simply divine, one of the best I ever had. The only thing is that the portions are really small. But it is worth going there for some beer and appetizers! The burger is good too!! Be sure to make a reservation because it is a little small and gets crowded pretty fast!!

When the boss is not in yet the food is AMAZING and the service is IMPECCABLE and you even remember the names of all the staff that assisted you, Chef Heinrich you know that you have an OUTSTANDING TEAM! Thank you Aideen, Mandy, Stephen, Jenn and Branden for making our celebration a particularly memorable one.

The food was PHENOMENAL! We were really impressed because it was delivery, but we did not lose out on flavour or presentation at all. My favourite was actually the kale and brussels salad - I was blown away by it! There were so many complex layers of flavour in one dish - I would order again just for that dish.

I went with a friend, and we had the scallop crudo, squash and endive salad, pork 3 ways, rabbit fettuccini, and the chocolate fudge brownie. My favourites were the scallop and the rabbit. The scallops were sweet and the sauce it came in was bright. The rabbit was seasoned deeply and much more flavourful than I had expected.

Despite all of these five dishes were anywhere from decent to quite good, nothing really blew me away, and for $60 a person, I just can't say the value is really there.

Unlikely I'll be returning, unfortunately.

Absolutely love Richmond Station. My boyfriend and I love to sit at the 'chef's seat' where the seats are up facing the kitchen & you can see everything the cooks are doing. You have to sit beside one another, rather than across, so for some it might not be desirable.. but we loved watching the chef's create. Food was beautifully plated, and full of flavour. They like to focus on ingredients that are fresh and in season, so the menu changes often. At the end of dinner, we were given a delicious complimentary piece of fudge.. and a neat little postcard. Highly recommend.

Always delicious, lovely atmosphere, and excellent customer service! I enjoyed the Stn burger and fries last night which i hadn't got in quite some time (always get the Duck) and it was exactly what i was craving - the fries are addicting. For dessert I had the new Apple Bread Pudding and it actually fell a little flat to me. Richmond's dessert style is deconstructed with contrasting flavours, and this was good but underwhelming - it needed more sauce or pronounced flavours.

This was a fantastic meal. Beautifully prepared food, excellent service, and people went above and beyond to make my experience great. I will definitely come back here every time I visit Toronto.
