The tasting menu here is total perfection. And reasonably priced to boot.

Literally one of the best restaurant I've ever been to! Tried the beef tartare for the appetizer. Normally I'm not really a big fan of beef tartare (girlfriend insisted), but let me tell you, it was the best and most original I've ever eaten (take a look at the pictures). Also had polenta fries, very original. For the main meal I had the pork done 3 ways, and I never thought how good a cube of pork fat could be prepared with homemade sausages. Service was A+++. I'd drive from Montreal to Toronto just to try it again in the future. Definitely consider if you're a foodie or are looking for a good restaurants to invite business guesses.
This is my favorite restaurant. I find myself coming here often and instead of the tasting menu, resorting to my favorite dish, the beef tenderloin.
the food all came out in a timely manner and was hot. service was amazing! our server was so polite and very knowledgeable of the menu and features for the evening. he was very thorough and accommodating to all of us. we practically ordered 80% of the menu and were too full for dessert. overall we had a great evening here and would come back!
good food and the best customer service! Me and wife come here all the time.
Absolutely delicious. We have been here 4 times now. We live in Pickering but any time we are going downtown this is our go to restaurant!
Solid place. Great drinks and food. Totally a hidden gem in downtown Toronto!
Everything about this place was awesome.. Food, atmosphere and service. We loved some dishes so much we had to get doubles like the buffalo cauliflower.
Single-handedly one of the worst resteraunt experiences in Toronto. Over-priced food coupled with a pretentious atmosphere, likely as a result of a horrible owner who wouldn't even let us tip our server; this is the worst Toronto has to offer and you have to pay a premium to experience it.
Must try polenta fries, Buffalo cauliflower was out of the world (should be part of the regular menu) and the burger was mean!!!! Thank you for ending the dinner with a quick shot of the milkshake chef - it was quite a treat.
Richmond station is one of my favorite restaurant in toronto downtown area. Great service, good atmosphere, and of course tasty food. Price is about $40-$60 per person. A little pricy but totally worth the money if you're looking for something different and memorible. The rabbit dish and cod we ordered r amazing. Desert 'Londob Fog' is the most delicious desert I've ever had.
Great spot right in the core of downtown. If it's perfect for a business lunch or a quick catch-up with friends. They do a great lunch special with the starter Main and dessert. I've truly enjoyed many of their unique and custom dessert creations
I have been to this restaurant on several occasions, with family, on a date, with coworkers and it never disappoints. It's hard to get a reservation for parties larger than 4. I would suggest going there late on a date because during rush hour it is super busy and noisy. The food and the menu are sooo good. I always order something new and it has always been surprisingly rewarding. I have had the best rabbit, best white fish, and top notch burgers at Richmond Station. I like that you can safely and confidently succumb to your curiosity. The portions are a tad on the large size. Most of the dishes are enough for two if you are not too hungry.
Certainly a spot worth visiting, the food is good and fresh, the pricing is convenient and it is regularly clean there. Highly recommended.
Good food, good service. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Seems like there were a lot of business people for dinner after work. Not the easiest place to get a table, even on a Wednesday night so maybe make a reso.
Excellent place, relaxed, friendly and very good food
Incredible tasting menu w equal service on a Saturday night. We had 3 different servers throughout the night, all informative, collegial, friendly & funny. Never rushed. The food was exemplary. The homemade cheese was incredible. We will be back.
The duck two ways was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. Staff was attentive and knowledgable. They knew the menu and gave a good wine pairing recommendation. Definitely will go back.
Sarah made our evening so special, her wine suggestions are as phenomenal as the food pairings. The burger is a must try!
Amazing Food, friendly eager-to-help service, down to earth day-to-day decor. Excellent place for the food savvy who's looking for a casual lunch.
Booked 2 days in advance for a Friday lunch, party of 5 (3 children). Place is kids friendly, though the food is complicated, mind you - not all children will like that. Waiter went out of his way to make sure kids are pleased (for example, sugered up the lemonade when one kid said it's too sour)
Decor is homey and too sophisticated, but creates nice casual lunch atmosphere. Was pleasant and allowed for conversation.
The food is extraordinary. Sophisticated and seasoned properly. Good products. Dishes are not big, so adjust your expectations.
Prices are on the upper scale, but the place offered a prefixed menu for $24.
Would highly recommend for a casual lunch (wasn't there for dinner) if you're into excellent food and are willing to pay a bit more.
The drinks were good but the food had more ingredients than taste. We tried two of their appies and left to order dinner somewhere else. Too bad, great location and the building has a ton of history.
Delicious food in a chic-casual atmosphere. Reservations highly recommended a few days to week in advance
Literally been to dozens and dozens of top restaurants around the globe. Visited a month or two ago and the first restaurant in Canada with a tasting menu where every single course is a 10/10. Usually a course or two fail to impress. Easily my new favorite restaurant in the city. Try the tasting menu and some match wines the chef is amazing. Much better than when they first opened. I was good then. It is completely epic now. The service is awesome.
You HAVE to do the chef's tasting menu (changes regularly) with wine pairing! Amazing experience.
Great food! Nice ambiance and great servers. If you like doing chef tasting menus, definitely add this to your list.
Excellent Service! Great food & menu.
Highly recommended we will be back!!
Exceptional! Food was absolutely delicious, inventive and generous. Great wine list. Service was absolutely spot on - friendly, on the ball and when asked for gluten free options our server was super knowledgeable and the restaurant is extremely accommodating (lots and lots of GF options!). We had our toddler with us and he was provided coloring crayons and paper and a high chair. Thank you so much Richmond Station for giving us such a memorable family lunch experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
It looks small when it comes, but it is a loaded burger made with a cheesy, flavourful, medium-rare short rib patty (locally sourced). Definitely worth trying!
I have heard great things about the duck as well, so I will give that a try next time I am back. Overall, a restaurant committed to quality ingredients (and wine), and wonderful service.
If you are in Toronto for a few hours and wonder where to eat, you should try this place. Beautiful ambience, and great service. Everyone there is very welcoming and helpful, we even got a good recommendation on a place to visit while we were there. All that without even getting to the food, which is a whole new tasting experience. The flavours literally came bursting into my mouth. Highly recommended!
AMAZING place in the core. We came without a reservation and they accommodated us. We had the burger and halibut, both were incredible. Service was great, atmosphere was great. Portions are perfect, and price reflects downtown prices without inflation. Will definitely be back!
Delicious food, great service, great beer, and a real down to earth feel as well. Really enjoyed my dinner there. 5 stars all day long.
Delicious lunch spot tucked away in an unassuming area of Toronto. Good service, reasonable prices, great atmosphere
Great dinner awesome staff and good cocktails ... couldn't ask for more ! Can't wait to come back
Foods never bad here. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating with allergies.
Only comaint was my dessert was supposed to be some kinda cheesecake... But there was no cake-like substance in the plate. Only ice cream and whipped cream?
That one was a little too experimental for me (and maybe misleading).
Great dining experience overall. Service is prompt but not in your face. You have to get reservations as it gets really busy at lunch time. Great selection of wines as well.
During the pandemic of COVID:19. Great customer service and hospitality. Service was fast and host was welcoming and friendly. Food is delicious and fresh.
Great local meats in the charcuterie board. Well done mains. Their menu changes every 3-4 months, with the exception of their burger. Reservations recommended.
According to Trip Advisor's algorithm, Richmond Station is Toronto's #6 restaurant. I disagree. I think it's #1. We were a party of ten last night, celebrating my husband's retirement. We had the Chef's menu. I've been to RS many times before and had high expectations. My expectations were exceeded. Every course - carefully put together to accommodate various food preferences among the ten - was a surprise and a delight. Fabulous oysters, plus chicken-fried oyster mushrooms for the vegetarians. Then brilliant salads impossibly fresh. And smoked trout! And a charcuterie with beef, pork and venison. Crusty, tasty sourdough bread. Beautifully cooked beefsteak plus pirogies for the vegetarians were the mains. When we were full and satisfied and chatting happily about our splendid meal, the pastry chef, April, brought to the table the special cake she had made for us - a black forest cake so divine it defies description (see photo). Throughout our feast, the table service was assiduous, friendly, attentive and prompt. I've eaten at a lot of Toronto's best restaurants. I've never had a better meal than this.
Excellent food, unique dishes, careful consideration of dietary needs. We had the chefs choice which came in around 8 courses and they tailored it for my two colleagues, one who was vegetarian and the other requested no pork. Everyone was very happy with what they got.
Weekend Delight! Great variety of food. We really had fun with our friends. It was our first visit to the restaurant and turned out to be amazing. Service was quick, food was awesome. Serving was sufficient enough for brunch. We will definitely look forward to visit the place.
Wow this place is amazing. Portion was small but quality is written all over. The cod was so soft like a baby's butt. Don't remember the last time I had food this good.
Sitting at the open kitchen was interesting. The kitchen is a busy place and most people ordered the beef shank that night.
This was my second time ordering takeout from Richmond Station.
Went here for lunch with a few co-workers and it was fabulous. Ordered from the Prix Fixe menu and was not disappointed. Must try the Quinoa Salad with hummus and roasted vegetables. Finished the meal with their Smores Tart, which was a decadent mix of milk chocolate, orange infused marshmallow and caramel. The staff was helpful and efficient. Would definitely go back!
A great spot for a solo lunch. I was seated at the chef's table (counter seating in front of the kitchen). The food and atmosphere was excellent. I ordered the duck 2 ways which was really good. Service was very friendly. A bit pricey for lunch, but portion size was good.
Food and service were excellent. Really happy with the portion sizes. Will definitely be coming back.
A young restaurant with an excellent menu, also sought after.
burger was a bit under-cooked, but my fault for not asking for medium
Everything was delicious with a slightly different menu.
Been here twice, food is amazing, ambiance is great. One of the best burgers in the city. Would definitely recommend.
I've had the station burger about 5 times now. It is still by far the best burger I've ever had anywhere. A braised rib burger with pickled onions, beet chutney, ontario cheddar on a milk bun.
My favorite restaurant in Toronto! If you can get a seat at the Chefs Table, it is the best seat in the house. Can t go wrong with any of the food. Everything they do hear is 5 stars.
Came here for a special occasion. Service was great but the space was tiny and it got uncomfortable. I didn't enjoy my dish but my boyfriend loved his.
First of all, the service was great, the waiters were so nice and gave good food suggestions.
I started with the shrimp salad, it was not how i expected to look like, but it was very good.
i also ordered Hummus and Pita which was, again, better than I expected. It's not the standard hummus that you'd order from other places as they've added their own touch to it.
Finally, my main course was the Station Burger. I asked for a medium well burger, and there is a good chance that this is the best burger i had in Toronto. it came with french fries and homemade pickles.
The place was really crowded and the food took some time to arrive, but the overall experience was perfect. just make sure to call and reserve before you go.
This place has a warm, earthy feel to it. Great for large or small gatherings. The food was very good and our server was effiicient.
This restaurant is small, especially when an event has the back room booked. Its loud and very active, and I mean that in a good way. Very good staff, who are passionate about the food and wine selections, and very knowledgeable. The menu is not deep, but the choices are very good. Fresh produce and everything at our table was very good. The appetizers were amazing, especially the polenta fries with truffle. Very enjoyable dinner.
Best dining experience I ve ever had. We tried their tasting menu for my birthday. Our server, Gui, provided us with the most amazing service we ve ever had. The tasting menu was modified to suit our individual dietry restrictions. Every dish was fantastic. The kitchen gladly accomodated our requests, and made us the best food we could hope for. Thanks again to Gui and the chef for our unforgettable dining experience. I d give 10 stars if possible.
A very loud place and I want to warn people to not reserve there if you plan a romantic date (you won't like close-up seats and feel you're having dinner with strangers pushing your shoulders). So, it's noisy and overcrowded. I had a headache after left. Service was also confusing. Got like 5 different servers and nobody was in charge of us. BUT! Food was incredible. We ordered about 60% of the menu and shared everything with our friends. I need to say that EVERYTHING was quite fabulous. Good portions, beautiful presentations and exquisite tastes. Even a simple coconut creamy pie is an experience. My favorite for sure: tamworth pork, shaved shoulder ham (with the Russian dressing and dry gruyere chesse) and those wild leek pierogies... Wow! And the good news is that price is reasonable after all. Can't complain much about Richmond Station. It's a must in the Old Downtown Toronto.
Nice staff and surprisingly great food! Rabbit the three ways and beef tenderloin are incredibly delicious!
Limited menu and pricey. But at least it was open and willing to accommodate someone dining alone in downtown TO, in mid covid season. Food was pretty good and the staff were extremely friendly.
Great ambience, creative dishes and amazing service. There is almost nothing you can complain about.
Great service, excellent food. Been here a couple times. Haven't had a bad thing yet.
A "fancy" but laid back restaurant with amazing food that isn't overpriced. Portion sizes are reasonable so you won't ever leave hungry or dissatisfied.
Great experience and food.
We sat at the counter with kitchen view. It was a good time watching the kitchen staff work.
We had the duck two ways and pork three ways. The attention to detail on every single component of both dishes was exceptional.
Good drink choices and dessert as well.
Got us right in, food was good. Small portions for a southern boy :)
Food was amazing, servers were knowledgeable, quirky atmosphere with a lot of lively eclectic pieces. Loved the look and feel of the place. Chocolate and coffee dessert was 100% worth it, at first I thought it was small but it was very filling because you wanted to savour each bite. Venison daily special was DELICIOUS. I will be back!
Fantastic restaurant when you're looking for a nicer meal and are OK with spending a few extra dollars. The staff is attentive, the wine list is great and they gave daily specials. I loved the way they prepared my beef and veggies.
I definitely recommend making reservations and heading over earlier to make sure you can get in.
Just picked up the burger as I heard great reviews. Took a quick bite but it was a bit messy. Took it home and ate it an hour late and was delish. Have heard its the top 3 burgers in the city and it didn't disappoint
Absolutely tasty meals.. Enjoyed alot ... Friendly staff.. Reasonable prices for food....
The food was PHENOMENAL! We were really impressed because it was delivery, but we did not lose out on flavour or presentation at all. My favourite was actually the kale and brussels salad - I was blown away by it! There were so many complex layers of flavour in one dish - I would order again just for that dish.
We came by for a tasting menu, switched seats to the table in front of the kitchen and the awesome team at Richmond Station fed us very well! Each of the dishes were prepared in front of us, the staff answered our questions regarding what was being cooked and prepared, each dish was delicious from the oysters to smoked meat to rainbow trout to cod to heritage chicken to duck to lamb all the way through each of the desserts. The sage icecream was very tasty!
it was not how i expected to look like, but it was very good.
i also ordered Hummus and Pita which was, again, better than I expected. It's not the standard hummus that you'd order from other places as they've added their own touch to it.

We always have the station burger and the quality is consistent. Very good.
Excellent service, very attentive, there are always many people, they should try the burger with a dark Canadian beer
My brother and I usually head here to eat whenever we need a quick bite. Food is on time and delicious. We also like to order to go so that we can pack it for lunch the next day. For drinks we sometimes get the durian milkshake, the smell brings us back for more! =O~~
