Good service, good drinks, however the food wasn't up to par i ordered both the meat and cheese board had very little selection not worth 40$ , steak was good however i sent it back to the kitchen as it was not well done it came back and still was pink inside the best thing were the chip fries . Probably wont be coming back.

Always great service and great food when I eat here. Everything is prepared with care and fresh. I love the mignonette and sauces that come with the oysters. The burger and charcuterie are quite nice as well. There's a daily special menu which is always a great deal. I give 4 stars only because there's nothing on the menu that really stands out to me to make me come back.

Don't post or review often, but had to, it was that outstanding.
The milk punch is one of the best cocktails I've ever encountered. Sounds weird, tastes great.
Not cheap, but not bad. I've spent WAY more and gotten way less.

Fantastic! From beginning to end

At first I thought it was a pretentious place....not at all.
Nice crowd (Professional/younger).
Excellent service ! ( went to the washroom and came back and found my napkin that I had thrown on the chair, delicately put on my chair and folded in nearly some sort of Origami!)

Food wise: excellent orchestration and harmony among the seasonal ingredients.

Going back for sure

Went to Richmond station and had the tasting menu for lunch. It was phenomenal! I was joking the would be a burger or slider involved, but want even disappointed when it didn't happen. Each choose was amazing but I was particularly impressed by the main, rabbit cooked the ways. The food here is incredible and definitely worth a try.

Remarkable experience here in downtown Toronto! Came here with my girlfriend and we are both huge foodies. Waiter was very attentive and helpful with our cocktail selections. A must go to place when you're in the area! The charcuterie plate was very delicious.

We opted for the tasting menu and it was 9 courses of well plated, excellent tasting food. Great variety from oysters, to fish, meat and salads. Nothing disappointed. We sat at the chef's table and really enjoyed seeing the inner workings of the kitchen. Staff were very courteous and explained each dish which only added to the experience. Highly recommended.

Everything was amazing. Food, service, ambiance all excellent. I had oysters, duck, carrot salad and lamb pasta. I can usually find something to critique but not tonight. Tonight, I'm happy.

We ordered the easter dinner for curbside pick up. The food was fantastic (as always) and the service was amazing. Cat and Leon made sure that we were set up w a great bottle of wine and that we had everything we would need for our first Zoom-Easter.
Thank you Richmond Station.

Heard very good things about this place. Had the duck 2 ways and seasonal trout. The food did not live up to my expectations.

The duck dish was very salty and the sauce was overpowering and sweet. It was so strong that it was hard to taste the duck.

Similarly, the trout tasted too much of lemon and was overall mediocre. The vegetables were cooked well and was delicious though.

I did like the atmosphere and service was excellent. Loved the open kitchen!

Our second visit was just as amazing as our first. Jessica was fabulous. Every bite of food was incredible. We were worried our first amazing dinner there was a fluke. But after two perfect meals, I m convinced it s just a really amazing spot.

We rolled in, service pretty slow, so we checked the menu and the wine list. Not much on the menu, wine list very expensive and average. How do these places get a 4.7 rating?? We did not go any further....

An A+ for service! The food here was great and it has a nice upbeat atmosphere. What I appreciated most was when the staff noticed that we didn't finish our dessert and we said that it wasn't exactly what we had in mind, we were proactively sent a different dessert on the house and had both desserts taken off our bill! Great way to keep customers happy!

I had a great evening here enjoying a multi course dinner. The atmosphere on sitting at shared tables was great. Made new friends during my dinner. I can strongly recommend going here.

Went for lunch. Service and food are excellent. Chill vibe. Best burger in town. I read on Blog.to today that customers no longer have to tip its built into the price like Europe. I hope other restaurants in Toronto follow suit.

Was here recently for a weekday lunch. Really enjoyed the food I had - fried mushrooms with kewpie mayo and a squash and endive salad. Mushrooms had great flavour but were not hot enough when they arrived at the table. Salad was excellent, very unique and filling, and a good portion for the price. I had a glass of wine off-menu (recommended by the server) that although good was more expensive than I expected (guess I should have asked for the price first)!

Absolutely loved!

Absolutely loved!

Our server was as kind as can be in informing of us of the specials, and adhering to professional restaurant etiquette. The open kitchen allowed my guest and I to gawk at the famous chefs preparing our food.

Our appetisers were fantastic, we got the oysters prepared with three sauces which were, dare I say, the best oysters we've ever had. I got the duck two ways and my guest the steak which were both phenomenal, delicate, yet very filling.

Besides the obvious point that the prices are steep, this place is worth it and amazing!

Stopped in for a cocktail on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was bumpin'! Great energy. They were quite busy, so I didn't want to take up the spot of someone who was going to eat a meal. The food looked great, menu fantastic, and the Scotland Calling cocktail is tasty. The couple next to me bought my one cocktail I had for the evening after striking up a conversation about Canadian gins.

The chickpea and leek burger was a total taste sensation, the flavours of the mayo and the chutney along with a crispy texture in the burger was exceptional. Hopefully this covid nightmare will soon be over so we can come downtown and watch the master chefs in action and try a little bit of everything like we usually do at the chef s table. recommend

This is the second time I have eaten here, but this is the first time I had their tasting menu to celebrate a special occasion. Service was friendly, attentive and staff explained each dish's components in detail. The food was spectacular and took into account dietary restrictions. Hopefully the photos do some justice but it was definitely a memorable dining experience.

I enjoyed my experience at Richmond Station. After 2 years, I still remember that I ordered the rabbit three ways which during the time was all the rage in city. I think the restaurant routes their menu, so at some point after covid would like to revisit.

The dim light and interior decoration creates great atmosphere for dates or small groups of friends. The the waiters are very attentive and helpful. Decided to go with the station burger which may seem to be small portion at first, but for a 6ft 85kg male, I was rather full after finishing the burger. The burger itself has chutney with it which is lightly sour and is kills the greasiness you might experience from the burger. The bun is soft, not dry and soaks up the juice from the meat, easily one of the better burgers in town if not the best. The fries are crispy and has seasonings with light flavour of ginger. Considering most bar food in the neighbourhood starts at $16, you can't go wrong with the station burger from Richmond station.

Great restaurant with very nice seasonal dishes and attentive service. Well curated selection of drinks. Knowledgeable staff that made some great recommendations on dishes and drinks pairings. All of this contributed to a great dining experience. Recommended!

Wow! Came here with wife late on a Friday night; no reservation. Hostess - very welcoming; accommodated us asap and held us over with creative/delish cocktails. Very bz night... Lucked out and got the chef's table with full view of kitchen staff hard at work on their craft. Braised beef ravioli - to die for. Polenta fries - best polenta ever. Duck liver pate w/ chutney on toast- melt in your mouth. Service - friendly, hospitable, truly welcoming. Chef Heinrich checking in and sharing his passion for good food and secrets for making it all come together with a top notch team of young professionals -inspiring. Folks, this is how it should be done.

Well getting a table at Richmond Station was an exercise in DG, and it is worth the wait! As one of the top destinations in Toronto's active restaurant scene I was interested if this "Top Chef Canada" winner could deliver.

Set in a well designed space with high ceilings this spot is very trendy and feels like you are in Manhattan.

Based on the waitress's advice we decided to invest in the Chef's tasting menu since we were at one of Toronto's best restaurants.

The 2.5 hour and 200 hundred dollar investment was worth it and if you have the time and money this is the advised route.

From the the oysters, beef carpaccio, chicken bratwurst, venison, truffle pasta, etc etc etc, everything was exceptional down to dessert.

So book the table, pack a bag and head to the station :).

Richmond station is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The chefs consistently change up the menu and have been using modern cooking techniques to dream up incredible dishes ( I still dream of that deconstructed cheesecake from a couple years back ). I've been back several times for the tasting menu at RS because it's one of the best values in Toronto at 65 dollars a head.
Chef Carl Heinrich is always seen in the open kitchen putting together beautiful plates and their team have proudly lead me and my guests through their kitchens and meat processing room. Each meal has been a wonderful experience and this restaurant will have me coming back for more.

After eating at Fable, I had to try top chef Canada winner season two. Not disappointed. Great salad all around although the amount of goat cheese was a bit excessive and made the beet salad heavy. Wild Boar ragu was excellent. Waiter friendly. Recommended.

This is still my go to for best meal in town. Everything gets compared to here and nothing has lived up. I didn't want to give this a 5 star because it just means more reservations to contend with... Go eat here

Great service. High quality food but portions could be a little larger. Unfortunately I had to send back my cocktail as the odour (from the egg white) was off putting. I notice it is no longer on the menu.

It is probably the best place I would like to dine in. The place is nice n cozy and hence you need to reserve the seat way before. Weekends are really busy. The food is awesome. Pretty costly but worth it for sure.

Good and tasty food but really expensive for the quantity of the portions served. The hospitality of the servers are really worth mentioning. It's clean and you would find uniquely named dishes. Their shareable are really food especially their octopus mushrooms. Can try if you are a foodie.

Was not impressed. I wanted to like it, cause I was hoping for the rare outing that my wife and I make to go downtown, we wanted to try something. I'd heard about this place from some friends in the past. I think if I'd gone with a large group, sampled more of their dishes, I might have a slightly different opinion. We didn't have reservations, but were seated quickly at the common big table where you get to sit next to strangers. I don't mind that proximity, even if you lose a little privacy. I mean, even if you were sitting at a table, odds are you'd still be able to bump elbows with the table next to you inadvertently.

I was optimistic, and wanted to like what we ordered. Unfortunately, what it felt like we paid for was expensive downtown real estate, in a "trendy" location where people must come after work, get an overpriced drink, and then be on their merry way. I was starving too, so you'd think my hunger alone would've made the food seem that much better. The guy next to us had the duck, he seemed to like that a lot more than we liked our meals.

I don't think I'd recommend this to tourists visiting Toronto either - as I feel like for what you pay, Toronto has better culinary experiences to offer. They do take credit card. Make a reservation if you're going to come, cause you might get stuck waiting around, or just decide you'd rather go somewhere else as you get turned away.

Service was good, even on a busy Friday, start of the weekend vibe. They took credit card.

I heard from some other friends afterwards that they were better before, so maybe something changed along the way, I dunno...

Yes yes yes. This is the spot that serves the mother of all charcuterie boards. I must say it was tough getting a reservation here but I gotta admit it was hella worth it.

Their service was amazing. Food was just perfection. We ordered two large charcuterie boards(toooo good!), oysters for the table and I endluged on their burger.

This spot is on the top ten in downtown toronto for me - will definitely be coming back here for more greatness

SO HAPPY that Richmond Station is finally open for take-out! We ve missed this place, with their commitment to fresh locally sourced products. Delicious (and shockingly affordable!) burgers are definitely a highlight, as well as the polenta fries with the truffle sauce :)

I have had the privilege of going to Richmond station regularly for the last 5+ years. Everything they do is pure magic. Their salads are thoughtfully designed, balanced, and delectable. Their rotating menu is reliably wonderful, making this an excellent spot for lunches with clients, friends, family, and guests from out of town. The service is without a doubt some of the best in the city. If you are a dessert-lover, you will be in heaven. The burger is the best in the city, hands down.

Having been here many times for both lunch and dinner, I have nothing but great things to say about Richmond Station. They have one of the best burgers in the city, but also consistently create unique and delicious dishes. In my last visit, I had an amazingly cooked venison dish as well as seared scallops. The staff also handled our large group with attention and care. You will not regret it!

Dropped in for dinner mid week. Waited 20 minutes for a table but a drink helped pass the time. A nice IPA hit the spot.
Reassuringly limited menu expertly explained by Zachary and our selections were well presented and tasty.
Reasonable value for money.
Pretty noisy but not overly so.
I'd happy come back.
