Great restaurant, a little expensive but the food is amazing. The burger was delicious!

I went to Richmond station yesterday for my wedding anniversary and I loved it !
First of all, the service was great, the waiters were so nice and gave good food suggestions.
I started with the shrimp salad, it was not how i expected to look like, but it was very good.
i also ordered Hummus and Pita which was, again, better than I expected. It's not the standard hummus that you'd order from other places as they've added their own touch to it.
Finally, my main course was the Station Burger. I asked for a medium well burger, and there is a good chance that this is the best burger i had in Toronto. it came with french fries and homemade pickles.
The place was really crowded and the food took some time to arrive, but the overall experience was perfect. just make sure to call and reserve before you go.
Went on a Saturday for a tasting menu. It was a bit pricy but everything was absolutely superb.
Ate in the semi private room upstairs. Fortunate enough that the English milk punch cocktail was on the menu. Had to stop myself after 3! Had the Rabbit Fettuccine for my main and was thoroughly impressed. Amanda our waitress was extremely helpful and full of personality. In fact all the staff we encountered were pleasant and easy going, even for how busy the restaurant was. An upscale restaurant with an extensive wine list and amazing cocktails. Highly recommend!

Believe the hype people! This place has everything: great ambiance, fantastic service, friendly staff, and the food is incredible and is made using lots of local ingredients.
Do the tasting menu and let the servers and kitchen staff choose for you. You won't be disappointed.
Every bite of every dish was so flavorful without ever feeling heavy. I don't think I've ever savoured a meal this much.
Do your taste buds a favor and go here.
Super good service! Tips: once you're done your meal they will give you some extra bread to soak up the rest of the sauce and really top you up! I found the sauce flavours to be quite mild so if you're looking for less salty cuisine this is for you.
Forever a favourite in Toronto! My hubby and I dined here for our wedding anniversary, and many times since. This is a go-to for work event dinners and I wow our teams time and time again. The tasting menu is amazing, and the black cod is a must-have! Cannot wait to eat here again!
Continues to deliver a fantastic experience. If you haven't been, it's time to check it out!
Very nice atmosphere, lively, with show kitchen.
Very tasty food, unfortunately not cheap, but always worth a visit.
Impressed again by the food at Richmond Station. The desserts have improved and now match the rest of the offerings.
One of the most amazing burgers I've ever had in my life
Fantastic meal. Never disappoints. Make a reservation
Friendly staff but service was a bit slow considering it was not busy. Very tasty food. Online/reservation menu was not the same as the in-house menu. I ordered from the pre-fixed menu, the roast beef was excellent. The caramel and blueberry ice cream was delicious.
Always love coming here. Was wondering what our experience would be during these crazy time, it was wonderful! Same amazing service, same amazing food!!!
Small restaurant, creative design. Food is not bad, has lots of colors and creativities. Staff are nice, crowded. Would return, great drinks menu too. Thanks!
Awesome restaurant in the downtown core of Toronto. The Chef's menu is always changing providing unique meal each visit. Food and service is always great.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere. One of our favourite places to eat in Toronto.
Loved the entire experience at the restaurant. Amazing and attentive staff. Our group ordered burger and steak, both were excellent. Cod was ok, portion was too small.
I would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone to try!
Food was fantastic, great services as well. Would recommend.
The first time we had been there and the food and service was fantastic! Our service provider (don't remember her name) went the extra mile to find a wine that worked for us. Plan to return.
Had an excellent meal. Craft beer on tap, service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
I might be not a big fun of burgers, so for me it was just ok burger. Need to come back to try other options from the menu. Staff is great.
The food is absolutely amazing. It is a lot casual than what I had expected but loved the atmosphere and everyone was very professional. We sat right by the kitchen and the place is not that big. I was carrying the stench of a restaurant back to my office but would love to visit again and try something else on their menu.
So thoughtful and always surprising. Great menu and food is delicious. We had two fabulous appetizers -- one was crispy coated mushrooms and the other was a divine salad that included roasted brussel sprouts. Reservation is highly recommended. It can be loud and crowded
Great service and amazing food.
Highly recommend the fried chicken oyster mushrooms, 5 stars
We came here for for the tasting menu and it was delicious. There were a lot of beets in the dishes, but I think it was just because we came here in February. I am not a fan of beets but the chef still made it tasty. My favourite dish in the tasting menu was their burger. The meat was tender, juicy, flavourful, perfect texture, and I can go on. Luckily, the burger is also on their regular menu. The drinks were also very well made with fresh ingredients and good liquor. I would come back for the burger and drinks.
Service was great. Knowledgeable staff, that was always around, but not in an annoying way. Drinks are really well crafted. Do the milk punch for something different, savory drink. Food was also great. Thought out dishes, everything tasted on point. A little light on portion size, but flavors were definitely there
WE CAME AS A GROUP OF ROUGHLY 12 GUESTS, CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY. THE FOOD ALL CAME OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER AND WAS HOT. SERVICE WAS AMAZING! OUR SERVER [NICK] WAS SO POLITE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE MENU AND FEATURES FOR THE EVENING.
HE WAS VERY THOROUGH AND ACCOMMODATING TO ALL OF US.
SHRIMP SALAD ON BRIOCHE 5/5
A GENEROUS BED OF SHRIMP WITH APPLES, A CHILI VINAIGRETTE AND RADISH SALAD MIX ON A TOASTED BRIOCHE WITH A BIT OF AN HERBED MAYONNAISE.
DUCK LIVER MOUSSE 4/5
TOPPED WITH AN APPLE MOSTARDA [THINK APPLE JELLY/JAM WITH MUSTARD], FRESH CHIVES AND SWEET CINNAMON RAISIN BREAD. WE THINK A PINCH OF SALT WOULD HELP BRING OUT THE FLAVOURS A BIT.
BEEF TARTARE 5/5**
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DISH! THE BEEF IS NICELY DONE WITH A BIT OF PICKLED ONIONS AND PARM CHEESE SHAVINGS ON TOP OF A 'CROQUET' OF THINLY SLICED POTATOES, THATS STACKED AND FRIED TO A CRISP GOLDEN BROWN. QUITE FLAKEY AND JUST WORKS REALLY WELL TOGETHER!
CRISPY PENNY POTATOES 5/5
SLICED, SEASONED AND BAKED TO PERFECTION! A BIT OF GARLIC EMULSION [LIKE AN AIOLI/MAYO BUT NO EGGS SO THIS DISH IS 100% VEGETARIAN!] IT COMES WITH A SIDE OF BEER MUSTARD TO DIP.
CHICKEN FRIED OYSTER MUSHROOMS 5/5
LIGHTLY BATTERED AND FRIED, TOPPED WITH A JAPANESE SESAME CHILI BLEND [TOGARASHI], SOME SWEET AND SOUR DRIZZLES AND KEWPIE MAYO. IF YOU LOVE MUSHROOMS, THEN YOU NEED THIS!!
KALE AND BRUSSELS SPROUT SALAD 5/5
A BUTTERY VINAIGRETTE AND SHAVED SMOKED HAM WITH SLICED BRUSSELS SPROUTS, CARROTS AND ALMONDS. THIS WAS A VERY REFRESHING LIGHT SALAD.
ROASTED BLACK COD 5/5
EVERYONE LOVED THIS DISH! PERFECTLY PAN SEARED WITH A NICE CRISPY CRUST ON THE SKIN, JUICY COD ON A BED OF DAIKON NOODLES, A BIT OF SQUASH PUREE AND VEGETABLES.
CRISPY ORGANIC TOFU 4/5
THIS VEGAN, VEGETARIAN AND GLUTEN FREE DISH IS SERVED ON A BED OF WILD RICE, SHIITAKE MUSHRROMS, A SWEET AND SPICY SOY GLAZE WITH TURNIPS! THE TOFU IS SO BLAND IN FLAVOUR BUT BECAUSE THE FLAVOURS COME TOGETHER SO WELL, IT REALLY BRIGHTENS UP THIS DISH.
DUCK 2 WAYS 5/5
THEY RAN OUT OF DUCK BREASTS SO WE OPTED FOR THE LEGS.
FIRST, WE HAD IT ROASTED PERFECTLY, W/A CRISPY SKIN, FRIED POLENTA CAKES, AND GRILLED VEGGIES.
THEN, IT WAS SERVED WITH SWEET POTATOES, GRILLED VEGGIES AND A SHERRY-LIKE GRAVY/SAUCE. THE DUCK WAS COOKED PERFECTLY BOTH TIMES, RETAINING ALL ITS JUICES AND FLAVOURS.
14OZ GRILLED RIBEYE STEAK WITH MUSHROOMS AND POTATOES 5/5
GRILLED PERFECTLY TO A MEDIUM RARE AND SLICED. SERVED IN A CAST IRON SKILLET WITH MUSHROOMS, POTATOES AND A RED WINE JUS. I DONT THINK YOU CAN EVER GO WRONG WITH A NICE JUICY STEAK CAN YOU!?
PORK MEATBALLS 4/5
A TAD DRY AND GRITTY BUT WE LOVED THE MUSHROOM GRAVY AND POLENTA CAKES THAT CAME WITH IT.
STATION BURGER 3/5
THE PATTY WAS JUICY AND COOKED NICELY. SERVED WITH FRIES. A LOT OF HYPE ABOUT THEIR BURGER BUT NOTHING STOOD OUT TOO MUCH FOR US.
FEATURE TROUT 5/5
THE TROUT WAS DONE SPOT ON! SERVED WITH WILD RICE & ROASTED VEGGIES.
WE PRACTICALLY ORDERED 80% OF THE MENU AND WERE TOO FULL FOR DESSERT. OVERALL WE HAD A GREAT EVENING HERE AND WOULD COME BACK!
THANK YOU RICHMOND STATION & NICK FOR MAKING OUR FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY SO MEMORABLE & TASTY!
We can't begin to tell you how pleased we were. The food was amazing. We loved the duck and the Tamworth pork so much! Delicious mains. The Charcuterie and Oysters got us to a great start. Best Sangria! The Service is impeccable. Can't wait to come back soon. GREAT JOB RICHMOND STATION!
Service was above and beyond from the moment you enter the door.
Great place with unique dishes and amazing service! We came here with a group of 7 and received impeccable services. We decided to order many dishes and to share them all!
I really enjoyed the burger in a relatively intimate setting that was trully enjoyable will come again
I received the best dishes and the best hospitality I want everyone to feel Death
They serve one of the best Burger's you can get downtown.
Amazing every time! Great food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend and keep going back.
Richmond Station has been one of our favourite dining experiences in the city for many years. Their menu always offers exactly what we're craving, not to mention the food quality and flavour never disappoints. A very consistent experience, always. We of course prefer dining in, however, as a result of COVID, we have enjoyed takeout to satisfy our Richmond Station cravings.
Great food and ambience with brilliant personal service.
Really good food. Great ambiance. Some construction in the area. I wouldn't have known it was there without the search for top rated resturaunts in downtown area.
I had the best ravioli in my life, but i am giving a 4 star bc the portion was a bit small. It would have been perfect if I had ordered an appetizer.
One of my favourite spots in Toronto ! Chef and team knock it out of the park every time we visit with friends, family, travellers from outside Canada and enjoy their cuisine. This time around we popped by for curb-side pickup (during the pandemic) - Station Burger (the best!), quinoa salad, cucumber salad, polenta fries - all really well executed, delicious, and didn t suffer any from being take-out.
Can t wait to dine-in at some point again !
Thanks!
acceptable praises kind service and tasty meals.. all should visit
Pretty much the best place I've ever eaten. The customized chefs tasting menu should be a bucket list item.
Had reservations at Richmond Station before heading to a show at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. Richmond Station is centrally located downtown, and is unassuming from the street. I was seated at the chefs table which was a very cool experience. Watching the kitchen work non-stop made the time fly by and was entertaining. We ordered the Farmers Ricotta and cod cakes as an appetizer, both delicious and recommended. For a main I tried to the Lamb Cavatelli, which was delightful. They have a butcher in house and the meat was amazing. 5/5 for service, 5/5 for the food.
These guys crush it. Been here 10+ times and it has always been incredible. Would give 6 stars if I could.
Creative and affordable fixed price nose-to-tail style lunch. Smaller space, but great service and decor.
Absolutely delicious! Will definitely go back, no question about it. Our sever, Addy was amazing. Great personality! When you re there, make sure you get him :).
Been here a couple times and the food is always excellent. If you like cocktails try the Milk Punch!
Carl and his team put on an amazing dining experience. Servers are attentive to customers needs and are very knowledgeable of the entire menu, including wines. Each food item comes to you with a full description. I had the fried brassicas and the pork three ways. Both were expertly cooked and delicious. The meal ended off when two pieces of brownie.
If you re in the downtown Toronto area for dinner, you have to check out Richmond Station! If you get the chance, say hi to executive chef Carl!
Wonderful experience eating here, getting a good feel of how down town Toronto really is. Exceptional food, with an amazing interior. A bit pricey, but well worth the money spent.
Amazing food and vibe!
The Stn Burger is ridiculously good!!!! It's juicy and cooked to perfection!
Great service, super friendly server who gave great recommendations. Felt the atmosphere was kind of lacking. Food was unique.
Love that they change things up frequently and that they're constantly good.
A good, cozy and modern restaurant, was looking for a place to celebrate a birthday and got acquainted with this restaurant. I heard that the dishes are creative and tasty, so I tried.
Ordered fresh raw oysters as snacks and spaghetti with lobster, fried black cod as a net. The oysters were fresh and insolent, combined with the special sauces they gave, and it really intrigued my appetite. For the net, they were both creamy with sauces on the bottom, the broth was Tom Yum for cod, and it is too salty; the cod was right fried in time, making it soft and warm inside, keeping the crispness outside. Unfortunately, there was only cod in the dish and a small portion of radish noodles and vegetables. For me, the portion was too small for the main course. Spaghetti was also made well, but the lobster meat was again a small portion.
The service was on point, although the waiter did not often come to us.
Not bad for a try, but for me I probably wouldn t go anymore, as their portions are too small and a little salty.
I had two of the best by-the-glass wines I've had in a long time. An outstanding Garnatxa from Spain, and a Malbec from Argentina. Well done.
We went there for dinner and all four of us really enjoyed the food and service.
Amazing food and service. Every course was incredible
Amazing service
Amazing food
The price of food is affordable for its quality
The price of wine is a bit high
It was a very nice experience and I will be going back soon.
The staff at Richmond Station were absolutely outstanding this evening. The home of my husband s favourite burger did not disappoint. Chef spontaneously created a dairy free, gluten free and sugar free dish to meet my food restrictions. It was delicious! What an exceptional experience. Thank you Richmond Station for a delicious dinner and a memorable restaurant experience.
The tasting menu was a solidly delicious experience course after course. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient.
Make sure you book before coming, it gets busy sometimes.
Order the ginger soup and burger. They are great.
Went here for a 6PM dinner, highly recommend making a reservation. I called on Tuesday morning, and for 6PM Thursday they only had two seats left facing the kitchen. These seats were pretty unique and more spacious than expected. We ordered the Farmers' Ricotta and Cod Cakes to start (Cod cakes were a chef's special). Both were incredibly fresh and well prepared, it was enough to share between two people as an appetizer. For our mains I ordered from the Chef's daily menu. I had the 6 oz Sirloin and my boyfriend had Lamb Forestiere Cavatelli, again both very fresh and well prepared. Our waiter informed us that they butcher all the meat on-site, and we did see the butcher coming out of the freezer with freshly wrapped meat. Seeing into the kitchen provided a unique perspective, the chefs work quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. For our drinks we had the Richmond Stn. Brown Ale and Pilsner. Both beers were tasty, no complaints on this place. 5/5 stars, their service, food, and friendliness was superb.
Ate so many things here and nothing disappointed! We shared the cheese perogies and crispy potatoes as an app. Make sure you also ask for the complimentary sourdough bread made in house. The richmond burger is my favourite in the city. The soft milk bun, tart relish, sharp cheddar, medium rare beef, everything about this burger is mouthwatering and it deserves the title for best in the city IMO! I did half salad and half fries since we had potatoes for an app. Glad I did since the fries portion is pretty big.
Also had an iced winter tea with labrador tea and grapefruit which I loved. The mint cacao dessert was a nice way to finish the meal, I'd prefer something with more chocolate though but there were no more chocolate-y options which turned out okay since we were so full by this point anyway!
Very creative flavors, so I definitely give them kudos for standing out. My dish was more creative than filling. I had the cod with some shredded daikon over bitter greens with a thom ka broth. The fish portion was perfectly cooked. It was kind of small. The people next to me got the same dish with a larger fish portion. I wasn t sure if it was supposed to be a soup or sauce, it was tricky to eat. The veggies were fresh and good, still they didn t quite all harmonize for me, trumpet mushroom chewy plus bitter greens plus baby tomatoes. The broth-sauce was too salty to serve as a harmonizing item. I was jealous of the guy eating the roasted chicken, which was a special that my server did not tell me about. The entree took a long time to come out. So, I opted to keep my entree. Like I said, the fish was perfectly cooked! I did not leave satiated, I m sorry to say. Might try it again if I m in the area, I m not sure. The staff were really friendly, and busy. So I m giving them a 3.
amazing!! Went here straight from the airport and definitely did not regret that! They have a great selection of organic food as well. :)
Our family likes this restaurant.thans for fresh food and great service
Great customer service, amazing food, catchy music and a beautiful, cozy ambience. Absolutely loved it!
Wonderful time, good food, great service and a nice atmosphere.
Outstanding "new Canadian" cuisine. We walked in at lunch and managed to snag a two-top in front of the kitchen. Thoughtful preparations that highlight the quality of the ingredients
The wait staff was amazing. Super helpful in explaining their menu. Everything was outstanding. The only thing is it was a wee bit slow in receiving our drinks and food. But the place was busy.
As good as it gets for Bay St lunches.
All their meat is butchered on site and the chef is creative. I've never had a bad dish, I'm sure you would be happy with whatever you order, but remember to check the specials board!
One of the best restaurants in all of Toronto. The service is absolutely wonderful. It can be a little pricey depending on what you order, the portion sizes make up for that. our wait time was not very long. We also thought it was quite pleasing to have a discussion because it was not very loud.
Service is friendly and the menu has great options at many price points.
Absolutely amazing evening here at Richmond Station! The food was exquisite, the lamb dish was beautiful and the cod divine. Admon was so efficient at pointing out places to visit during our stay and was a brilliant host all night, catering to our every need. Can't thank and recommend here enough!
I just visited this place for the first time for a work farewell lunch. Our group ordered a couple of appetizers which were great and I settled for the Rabbit Fettuccine for the entree. I was excited to try this dish as I've never tried a rabbit dish previously. The meat as well as the pasta was overwhelmingly bland and underseasoned. There was little to no salt and no standout flavours. This made the meat taste more gamey and less enjoyable. Overall, the food experience was disappointing although the general ambience of the restaurant and service was good.
Honestly I'm quite puzzled to how the restaurant has such a high rating. Perhaps compared to other restaurants the price isn't very high but in terms of food I wasn't impressed. The chowder soup was just a tomato broth, no consistency. The junior burger was pretty good. The rabbit fettuccine didn't have much taste other than the mushrooms. I'm not sure why the chef decided to add green peas to this dish. With such a high rating I was expecting a culinary experience however I was disappointed...
The waiter was nice but I really think the whole menu should be changed.
After weeks of walking by and seeing it was always packed I had to try it. Richmond Station did not disappoint with great service and a great meal.
Mediocre food that does not match the rather high price, and unenthusiastic servers. Therefore better places around.
