This is supposed to be the best lunch option in TO. No wonder I can't find food satisfaction in this city. The menu was limited. The food was well presented but lacked originality in the flavor profile. It is as if the flavor matches had been done by a novice using a flavor wheel. Yes we know pork goes well with Apple but where is the creativity!!
Delicious food made with local ingredients. Just being in the restaurant one can sense the artisanal passion for the culinary experience. The outstanding service enhances adds to the marvellous experience.
Always a great spot for lunch. Top.flight salad with a creamy miso tinged dressing. Nicely prepped pate with pistachio, creamy mousse and a pate en croute. To die for.
Celebrated our anniversary here. We had their tasters menu. No preset menu for it so it was a complete surprise. It was truly amazing. Small portions paired with many courses. Left super full. Our server paired an excellent wine to complement our meals. All dishes came with great timing. Every dish was uniquely delicious. Enjoy!

Had the tasting menu when we visited, and my god, it must ve been one of the best meals of my life. To add even MORE praise, the service was phenomenal as the waiter was so informative and accommodating. I was so full by the end of it, but as each dish came out I knew I HAD to finish it because it was that spectacular.
I rarely ever write reviews on food places, but I really had no choice. This place deserves all the praise it receives. I would shout it out in the streets if I didn t look like a crazy person. Please, please if you have the chance you HAVE to come here!

Fantastic. I ve been here countless times before and during covid. Their food is always great. The burger is great but I also do Suggest you try other items as well such as the meatball. Overall this place has a great vibe, and one of the most consistent amazing service. Every single time I have been here, I felt fantastic.

Had a phenomenal experience at our 2 year anniversary dinner tonight. Our server was extremely warm and attentive, and the Duck 2 ways was THE best duck dish I've ever had in this city. Plus we got a pleasant surprise at our dessert... THANK YOU. Will definitely revisit.
Visited for lunch with a larger party. The service was really good and friendly, and the lunch specials were really affordable and delicious. This is one of my new favourite spots in downtown Toronto!
Constantly delicious, with a rotating menu featuring some staples such as the Richmond Station burger that is always featured on any "Best Burgers of Toronto" list. Usually a good oyster selection, I heartily endorse any of the starters with a particular call out to the duck pate with chutney. Great for a special occasion dinner, a quick business lunch, after work bite, whatever.
This restaurant is possibly the best I've visited in North America.

Lastly, the service is worth every penny. Staff is friendly, welcoming, attentive and very, very nice. Will not talk down to you.

I have been wanting to try Richmond Station for a long time and I was not dissappointed. Presentation of the foood was absolutely beautiful and the food was a combination of the familiar yet somehow a bit deconstructed. Beautiful colours and attention to detail. On the top 5 of my favourite places in Toronto.
Overall, the food, service and atmosphere are the best I've been to in Toronto. I was impressed with the breadth of the dishes and their specialty. The price is a bit expensive, but I think it's worth paying for this place and its content. Recommendations: station burger if you like burgers, vegetable croquettes for vegetarians? Like, the dessert is Earl Gray flavored ice mousse.
I loved every single item we ordered. Half of what we ordered were from their daily special and it was amazing. I was a bit out of my comfort zone when we ordered our food (I ordered the burger just to be safe lol) but dear godddd every single bite was heaven in my mouth. they made my birthday dinner magical. My wife and I had the Chef's Menu experience and it was the best culinary experience I have ever had. We were even offered a tour of the kitchen and restaurant. A must-eat-at if you're for an experience with your meal.
Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Toronto. The food selection is admittedly small, but the dishes that are available are fit for a king - sweet, savory, and salty are blended in a way that just feels right, and the beer selection is extremely complimentary to the food served.

One of the best restaurants in downtown, the meet was special, I mean it felt different, a good different, it was tasty, and the dish size was large enough not to feel overfull but feel ok after. They actually sell their freshly cut meat, which I believe they will leave a coupon for you, you can ask them to show what its about and they will give you more information. The only drawback would be maybe the restaurants smallness but for me it was not an issue. Another great thing to mention is that they cook everything in front of you, the kitchen is open to you, my favorite thing in the restaurant, you get to see where your food is coming from, and thats trust!

Wonderful tasting menu. Each dish full of flavours. True to the farm to table concept. Vibrant atmosphere. Excellent service. To top it off the $70 price point for the tasting menu makes this an incredible gem in the city compared to the $125 plus others charge for their tasting menu. The bottom line is the outstanding food which would compel me to return on a regular basis.

Its weird that I know their burger is probably the #1 seller, Rabbit, Trout and Tartar? I could be wrong but ya I don't think those would sell well even though I know frog legs taste like chicken.
Everything about this place is perfect. Terrific, personable service, knowledgeable staff, fabulous menu with something for everyone. Had the rib-eye steak and lobster tail and the steak was one of the best I've ever had.
A friend had the pork done three ways with spiced lentils which was simple and outstanding. Going to have that next time. My partner wants to experience the chef's table and the tasting menu. I'll do whatever to get back there as soon as possible! It's very busy so make a reservation well in advance.
We went there based on Google s recommendation and were not disappointed .. First of all , the staff were super friendly , and in particular , Melissa , who was attending to us , is a real gem to any restaurant who wishes to have satisfied returning customers .. Secondly , the food was delicious ( we had cherry tomatoes salad and rabbit in 3-Way ) and creatively presented , and thirdly , the blueberries cheese cake was just out of the world .. In summary , couldn t have asked for a more pleasing dinner at reasonable price !
Thank you for a great experience. My daughter and I had a late lunch from the "Let us cook for you" menu. Although the team was in full preparation mode for their new Valentine menu we did not feel rushed. I have told just about everyone i spoke to from last Thursday till today that this restaurant is a MUST try. I will do this again at anytime, eating WHATEVER Nathalie recommends and Carl and his team puts in front of me. No questions asked. Thanks again.
What a lovely experience. Started with the charcuterie which was lovely. Duck 2 ways was an honest treat, fell right off the bone. Finished with a cheese plate for dessert, which came with three cheeses, quinoa crackers, honey and fresh fruit. I wish we had more crackers but otherwise it was a great assortment. Our cocktails were refreshing and service was great despite it being a saturday dinner rush.
I travel for work so visit a lot of restaurants and this one is exceptional. The menu was not extensive but the food was amazing. I sat by the open kitchen and everyone was really friendly and made me feel welcome.

We decided to go with the tasting menu as it was too difficult to choose off the menu. The 7 or 8 courses (lost track) were all delicious. Service was excellent.
Where do I start? The food, apps, burger, just amazing - which is what I came for. But what I didnt expect was that the service would make the whole experience off the charts. When my husband and I couldn't decide between 2 apps, he brought us both! When I was too full for dessert, the lady with the bill gave us house-made fudge! Thank you for the amazing service! Wish I could give it 6 stars.

Been here MANY times for dinner and lunch. Never disappoints me. Amazing service and food! Highly recommend making reservations! Had the Duo of Beef for dinner...a special. The meat was cooked perfectly..tender and juicy and all the sides complimented the beef! Hubby had the duck and he loved it! Didn't have the burger this time..but it's the best! One of the most popular dishes there!!
The service was really terrific here. When I needed help with suggestions, I was given options that for what I was looking for. The food is so good. I had the Beef Tartare, Scallop Crudo, Roasted Black Cod, and the Milk and Honey for dessert. I would highly recommend any of those, but the milk and honey was my favorite. The Stn Mule cocktail was a great take on a classic.

Absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The shared plates were the star of the show, get the polenta fries and the ham shoulder if they have it. Only negative was that our server was a little forgetful but nonetheless we enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing foods at Richmond Station. Especially "Rabbit Two Ways" FANTASTIC! I have eaten the most amazing Rabbit Two Ways rabbit meat. The first attempt to achieve the ultimate rabbit meat! The taste bursts into light !! You must eat fried first and then fried before you can taste the essence of the food. Every dish is good! Awesome! ! Will go again.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Service was great. Decor and ambiance was nice and fit the theme of being a subway station. Food was delicious. We had the beef tartare, heritage chicken, and roasted black cod. Really enjoyed the chicken and tartare, but my friend said the cod was decent but wasn't outstanding. Had nice fudge cube to end off the night. Overall 5 star experience.
Great experience every time. Servers are kind and enthusiastic, food is so tasty and portions are filling without being too much. Price suits the quality of the meal. Atmosphere is elevated yet cozy. Guests will be served in casual attire but business casual seems to be the majority. Nice place for a small gathering.

What a great find! Celebrated our anniversary here, and the service, food, and atmosphere were all superb. Our server made note of our anniversary from our OpenTable reservation, and even gave us two glasses of sparkling wine to celebrate. The pierogis were fantastic, and the London Fog cheesecake had perfectly sharp orange curd. Will return to this gem!

Went there for a work outing and it was amazing. The beef tartare was beyond delicious and the fried chicken oyster mushrooms were incredible. As a main, I took the burger which is the best burger I've had. It had a good mix of meaty, acidity, fatty, all flavours playing well together.
After parking our car at our hotel around the corner we walked everywhere else. On Sunday that's more challenging though in the financial district because restaurants are closed. Our fabulous trip was over and we were feeling blue as it was and wanted to end on a high note. I found this restaurant and we tried it. The layout is fun and we sat at the long counter top table. You're sitting close enough to other people that its socially required to speak at least once but that is also a good thing. The waitress was friendly and helpful especially with the drink selections, and the variety on the menu is fantastic! We loved everything about this place and it was a great pick me up!

Amazing food and great service. Steve the sommelier was great and did some unique pairings. We did the chefs tasting menu and say at the chefs table (basically a bar in front of the kitchen) and the kitchen staff were great and nice to talk with as well.

Probably one of my favourite places to eat in the whole city. I'm always impressed with the flavours and the service. Atmosphere is also top-notch. Worth all the money you'll spend for sure. I'll be back again...and again!

I liked that I could see the chefs cooking up a storm from our seats. Our waiter was so friendly and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He even gave us a list of some places we should visit during our stay. He went above and beyond. A super friendly and polite young man. I can't remember his name but I will not forget the friendly bearded fellow.
I ordered a meal but asked if I could change out the protein option and they did. I was happy to get the chicken with my meal. We love the mushroom appetizer. It was different but really tasty.

I love food. I'm obsessed, actually, and I've been to a huge variety of restaurants both around Toronto, across Canada, and to an extent, around the world.
I can honestly say that this is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I've been coming here for about six years now, and in a way I feel like my tastes and culinary passions have been shaped, at least in part, by my experiences here. I've had many firsts at Richmond Station - my first oysters, first steak tartare, first crudo, first ceviche - many dishes that my younger self would have been scared to try. Somehow, the culinary genius of the chefs here manages to make every last dish on the menu a delight. Judging by the place's reputation, I'm far from alone in this experience, and I'm glad that the incredibly talented people that work here are getting the recognition they deserve.
With respect to the food and atmosphere, Richmond Station manages to accomplish the finest quality cuisine in a thoroughly unpretentious setting. The atmosphere itself is unassuming, and frankly feels like home, with simple but elegant decor and good music. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly, both at the front of the house and in the kitchen - I highly recommend sitting at the chef's table. The tasting menu is a great option if you're feeling adventurous, and the kitchen is also excellent at accommodating various dietary needs and restrictions.
Coming as a regular, it's wonderful to see familiar faces and catch up with everyone I've come to know at the restaurant over the years. I look forward to every meal at this place, and I think above everything, you really need to appreciate the people that make the magic happen here.
Anyhow, after six years you might be wondering what's finally prompted me to write this review. Well, it's long overdue, but I think the final straw, so to speak, was the addition of the lamb merguez cavatelli to the regular menu. Quite honestly, that particular dish is my all-time favourite meal, and I simply can't live without putting my adoration on the record once and for all.
Seriously, if you haven't been here, you need to go. Everyone deserves to share in places like this one. And if anyone from the restaurant is reading this, thank you for giving me the culinary experience of a lifetime in my very own backyard.
A little expensive, but the food was excellent. The place was cozy. It was crowded even on a Tuesday evening. I would recommend the chef's table if you don't mind smelling like food afterwards. It's fantastic spot if you're interested in watching the chefs cook.
Food was excellent but is pricey. Food is all made in house. We tried the ricotta cheese and a charcuterie board for appetizers the sizes were smaller but the food was fresh and flavourful. Dinner we tried the Station Burger which was very tasty. The beet chutney gave the burger a nice sweet taste which works so much better than ketchup.
The portion sizes are smaller but we were satisfied after enjoying our meal.
Reservations are a must for sit down dinner but they do have a standing waiting area where you could order snacks and drinks as well as a communal bar area. The serving staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had multiple servers come up to ask how we were enjoying ourselves.

By far one of Toronto's best restaurants!! We had the most delicious meal and a visit from the executive chef! They are moving toward serving 80% organic food. An even better reason to eat here. We will be back!

Creative menu that makes the most of fresh seasonal produce
Bang for your buck, Richmond Station has a case to make as the best restaurant in the city. Putting aside everything else, the food is always perfection. The quinoa salad and the burger are some of the stars on the menu. The service level and food are fine dining (i.e plating, presentation of the dishes by the staff, menu knowledge, tempo, etc.), but it feels comfortable, warm and friendly (the food and the staff). If you get a chance to try the chef's menu, you should take it - the kitchen will wow you with fresh local ingredients done to perfection.
Food was really amazing. Great tastes combinations. Our server Josh was great, went the extra mile by giving us a few minutes to get acquainted with him and the menu since we were new.. Highly recommended..
Christian the HOST was fantastic over the phone and the service was on point. We decided to eat at the waiting area high top and it worked out OK. We ordered two station burgers. The burgers were good but not great, and at 22 per burger I was expecting AMAZING, however the fries were fantastic.
