Great locations, nice service. But a bit expensive. Good for business lunch

I always tell myself I should get something new but always get the burger cause it's so damn good and I'm never disappointed

Excellent food. Very reasonable prices. Not too loud. Excellent service. Loved the Pearl Morrisette wine. Loved the rabbit. The tartar was only ok. too much spice not enough meat flavour.

A really beautiful and completely awesome experience here. I think my YEA (Yelp Elite Assistant) would agree that it was a very fitting way to celebrate a birthday.

The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was that there was a raised upper level to the restaurant that also has an open view into the Richmond Station's kitchen. It was cool to see the hustle and bustle of the chef's behind the line and it wasn't a distraction at all.

Tip: If you want a more close-up view of the action, they have a single seating bar right at the chef's window.

The service was excellent and the servers take the time to explain to you the dishes you are about to consume. The decor is subtle and it lends itself to just fade away while you focus on the food put in front of you.

Began the experience with a shared dish of beef tartare on toast points made of crispy layered slices of potato. It was crunchy and the beef tartare was well seasoned.

The bread and olive oil/balsamic was a delightful surprise at the start of the meal too. I think they mentioned that it was a cold-pressed soy bean olive oil and balsamic blend. It was really light and sweet and we had to stop ourselves from asking for more bread to sop it all up.

The pork and rabbit pate on croute was another good sharing plate. it was done well and you can taste the contrasting deep and light flavours of the pork and rabbit pate. The mustard and pickled shallots were nice compliments to add some bite to the dish.

We opted for the rabbit 3 ways and the heritage pork as our main courses for the evening.



I tried some of the heritage pork from my partner's dish and I found it a little hard to cut through and a bit tough to chew through as well. Maybe I've just never had heritage pork cooked the right way. So mixed feelings on this one.

The cap off of the night was ordering not one but two desserts to celebrate my YEA's birthday. They were able to bring out a nice wooden plan with a small candle and a "happy birthday" message written out in chocolate drizzle.

I really enjoyed the red velvet chocolate cake with the sea salt ice cream although I graciously let my other half consume most of it. :-) The cake was fluffy and soft with the beet and cream cheese sauces. While the other dessert (I forget the name of it) was a deconstructed combination of textures and flavours that kinda tingle on your tongue.

I would recommend coming here for an experience that is on the lower end of the $$$ spectrum. I thought the prices were quite fair for the final dishes that were presented to us. :-)

This is my third visit to Richmond Station and the food never disappoints. So far everything I've tried on the menu was good. Very attentive staff. Great spot for gathering.

Delicious. Make every effort to visit. Whether it's for lunch, early or late dinner the service and quality of food is A+

Fantastic service and food. Tasting menu lets you try a little bit of everything and its a better price compared to similar restaurants in TO. Great view of the action in kitchen at the chef's bar.

The staff worked really hard to find food that our kids would like. The scallops and swordfish were amazing and the presentation was excellent.

I almost always like this place. Food and service occasionally disappointing, but when it's good, it's really good.

Genuinely fantastic food. We had a chef's table so we could watch the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Would highly recommend the polenta fries, beetroot salad and the blueberry and corn dessert. I still have dreams about that dessert. Really excellent service too.

This is the BF's favourite resto. Lives up to the hype. Good flavours. All of the ingredients complement each other so amazingly well.

I had the scallop with veggies. As much as I enjoyed the veggies I didn't enjoy the scallops as much. To me it lacked freshness. My coworkers ordered burgers and they absolutely loved it.

Burger is the best and the quinoa salad is to die for

Interesting food, on the pricey side. It's quite hipster so it attracts a certain crowd. You can tell the chefs really do care about creating original and authentic dishes.

Fine dining with dishes that look like they came out of Masterchef Australia. A bit pricey for the average person, but a good place to visit on a special occasion or once-twice a year. There is really cheap parking ($2 for 2 hours) about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. Look it up on Parkopedia.

We ordered the Roasted Red Peppers and Carrots Soup, followed by the Wild Leek Pierogies. We finished our meal with the Chocolate & Lavender and Pear & Hazelnut desserts. Every dish was perfect, and spectacular in every bite. We absolutely loved it here, and hope to go back for another special occasion.

Great Food, Pleasant People
Excellent food served by people who genuinely are interested in what they do. We sat at the 'chef's table which is, basically, a counter facing the open kitchen so you can see everything being prepared. You may want to linger over a drink or two ahead of ordering and watch the prep on various dishes before you choose!

So so so glad they are open again! We ordered 2 burgers, polenta fries, 2 dessert and a salad, all were as good as I remembered! Also discovered that they have patio now. This is my fav restaurant in Toronto and plz stay open.

Delicious food that is definitely a must try when you are looking to treat yourself. Pricing is about medium... Good value but this isnt casual food for sure. Service was great and I recommend reservations for any group larger than 3-4 people. Definitely give the burger a shot.. it's very unique.

My sister and I came to celebrate my big 30th here. It was a good experience. The service from the waitstaff was great. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Only hick up, the hostess took FOREVER to seat my sister and I. Despite plenty of empty seating available in the front, she made several phone calls before choosing to seat us. No one else waited as long as we did and I called ahead to make sure walk ins were accommodated. I m not sure why we were treated differently but it did leave a sour taste in our mouthes that even delicious duck 2 ways could not erase. We appreciated the fantastic food and hope our next trip will be better.

Food is good. Service is nice. It just didn t reach my expectation.

We dined here for a special event, but some of these items are regularly on the menu. There were delicious vegetarian options and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time!

Great location. Service was great and our server was very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining the menu. We tried many items from the menu charcuterie with cheese, station burger, qiunioa salad and the London fog dessert. Everything was great especially the burger. We got a private like seating area which was a great experience to converse with friends. All round great location would definitely return.

Had dinner with my colleagues from work, great atmosphere, suttle music in the background, the service was top notch, everything that we ordered was flavorful and the presentation of all the dishes looked amazing. Definitely a place to stop in and try

Went here for my anniversary dinner and it was wonderful. Great service and great food. We did the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Really like the vibe here and will absolutely be going again.

Outstanding food and service at this price-point ($25-30 mains). The carpaccio was particularly good, with bright, fresh flavour.

What a restaurant and what awesome food. Things will be slow at this restaurant because they are always packed tight! I suggest ordering cider while you wait (really good) but the staff does make it up to you, we were given a free dessert. One person can easily eat an appetizer and a main dish, which is a good thing cause everything is delicious. We had the perogies, penne fries both were remarkable.

Mind blowing burgers for meat lovers! Love this place!

Perfection, Great, and Outstanding are probably over used and/or misused in many reviews, however not when it comes to our experience at Richmond Station. We experienced friendly and knowledgeable staff from start to finished. I would go as far to say we were doated on...which is what you want. Amanda our server made the night perfect by answering all our questions, making spot on recommendations, and being a great conversationalist. If you are as lucky as we were you will have her a server.

The food is was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I shared the cucumber salad. There were so many flavors that popped while enjoying this. Our dinners were fabulous. She had Wagyu Bolognese and I had the Lobster Spaghetti. Wow to both meals. Perfect portions, presentation was beautiful, and taste was exquisite. We could not refuse desert, coconut cream pie with vanilla ice cream and tiramisu with coffee ice cream.

As we were leaving our other thoughts were: reasonably price for the food and service and portions were perfectly sized, you did not feel grossly stuffed or slighted by not having enough.

This place was delicious!! My partner took me here for my birthday and we were not disappointed. They are known for their meats, and so we ordered a charcuterie board to start - and each variety was delicious. The special of the evening was Scallops, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They were so fresh and cooked to perfection. Their dessert had great combinations of ingredients, including lavender, a cranberry spongecake, orchid, earl grey...10/10! The service was also fantastic.

It doesn t look like a fancy place from outside. Once you re inside, you will be amazed by the food.

What a delicious treat. The team at Richmond Station outdid themselves. Not only did they put wonderful flavours together for this special Thanksgiving dinner they put a lot of thought and work into the packaging as well as the reheating and serving instructions. It's the first time I have truly had a restraunt experience at home and from a takeout meal (and I have done a few from "fine" restaraunts). With any luck Richmond Station will consider doing these special "feasts" on a more regular basis. I know I will be first in line to order.

The tasting menu was amazing in taste and presentation; definitely worth the price! For 9 unique courses, it was surprisingly filling. The chefs gave us a brief summary about each course, and they were all very polite! The owner of the restaurant even approached us during our dinner; a very outgoing, talented, and friendly man! Highly recommend this restaurant for the amazing food and hospitality

One of my favourite restaurants in the city for years now. Everything is incredible. And great prices considering quality and portion size.

I've been here twice now, and although the service and atmosphere is great, the food has consistently failed to impress.

This is a great place in downtown Toronto that is run by a fantastic and progressive chef. The menu is small but they really get things right here. The station burger is my favourite on the menu.

Chefs table amazing experience right in front of the action. Had the chefs menu, great meal, a lot of food, good value. Got to see the meticulous nature of the food preparation by true professionals, differently a must try experience for any food enthusiasts.

There's is nothing I don't live about this place. The food is simply amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. Staff is wonderful and put the effort in to get to know regulars.

Came here for lunch based on a recommendation. Was not disappointed! I had the Station Burger. The burger was well cooked and seasoned, and the milk bun was much better than most places offer. The best part about the burger is the beet chutney. I love beets and burgers but never had them together. Leave it to this place to prove they worked well in one dish. Add in the rosemary fries, which are quite delicious on their own, and the meal becomes completely fantastic. Next time I am back in Toronto and am downtown this will be one place I revisit.

My second visit here in the past year. Absolutely amazingly crafted food! Every course and every dish with knowledgeable servers who describe the ingredients of each menu selection in detail. If you want to go to a restaurant while visiting Toronto on business that will fulfill the foodie in you - go here! Wine a bit on the pricey side. Ask for a spot in the front section of the restaurant if you like to be a bit cooler. A sure bet.

Everything was great down to service. The most memorable for me was their burger, by far one of the best burger I ve ever had.
