Excellent charcuterie and a great selection of main courses. Went with a group of friends and service was friendly and attentive but also professional in terms of timing the when the appetizers and meals arrive as well as making recommendations. Had the rabbit and my wife had the salmon. Both were excellent. The local craft lager in tap was smooth and light as well. Highly recommended!

Avoid. I was in the habit of dropping in for dinner when visiting Toronto on business. Not any more. The final time I dropped in, my main was over-seasoned to the point of being inedible. When I brought it to the attention of my server, management derided me. Nice.

Incredible seasonal food in a cool transit-themed space. Our group was so impressed and delighted by how amazing each dish tasted. The Digby scallops on their seasonal menu, beef tartare and burger were especial standouts.
The service here is top notch and our waitress was so knowledgable with the menu, we really loved her recommendations. My cousin went as far as to say he felt "drunk" off how good the food was.

Fantastic service, great atmosphere, and wasn't that busy when I went for lunch. The food itself was very inventive and unique with very fresh ingredients. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner.

Richmond station is one of Toronto s great restaurants for a reason. Great food, great platting, and awesome service. Everything was outstanding - you won t be able to find something you don t like on this menu. The burger was too good and eaten too quickly to take a photo!

This place is definitely one of the finest place in the neighborhood. Every time I come there I am very happy. They preserve their high standard service and the topmost level of food they offer. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Wonderful oysters and best burger ever, it may seems small at first glance, but after the first bite you'll forget about the rest of the world!!!! Great great great. Nothing less than that. And great service too, friendly and sincerely smiling. A very very good place to go for dinner!

By far the best restaurant in town!!! I always go there w/ my family and we can't be happier when we eat there. The food is extraordinary, the location is pretty good ( near the city center ), the staff is corteous, the whole thing is amazing. The appetizers are tasty, the mains are exceptional and the desserts are indulgent.
It's a pricy restaurant, but it is totally worth it, if you want to eat fine delicious food it is definitely the place to go to!

The kale and Brussels sprouts salad was unique and very tasty. The burger was amazing and juicy. The coconut and caramel dessert is also highly recommended. However, the chocolate torte and black cod left something to be desired.

The ratings are not a lie and I have a new Top 3 favourite spot in Toronto. There's a lot of great things about Richmond Station.. but if there is one takeaway from my review, let it be this. If you want a phenomenal meal, ask specifically for the chef pass and the chef tasting menu. Not only is it a feast for your taste buds and eyes... it is a feast of all senses.

From the outside, you wouldnt think automatically a restaurant of this calibre and space would be hiding behind a simple window golden font of Richmond Station and a tiny signage with simple words of 'Restaurant'. If you peered in, you'd see an overflowing amount of people enjoying a lot of interesting dishes. You'll also notice a lot of people coming in to only be sadly turned away.

The space is warm and welcoming... there's no pretentious airs here. It's quite different from my other 2 favourite higher end spots (Buca and Grey Gardens). The atmosphere here is relaxed and if anything, more casual ... though do not mistaken this for a bar atmosphere. It's still refined with its wood accents and clean lines but the staff creates more of an approachable vibe. You can see the humour in the hallway to the bathrooms where they have snapshots and commentary of the restaurant. One of the chefs has a Calgary Flames hat ... the snap of him has "Get him a leafs hat". I will say the tables are kinda close... we heard other table's conversation more than a few times.

Before I go into the food... I do have to say that Richmond station is possibly my 3rd favourite only because of the kitchen pacing. For us, our first two dishes were the oysters and charcuterie. Though they were good... it was 50 minutes after being seated that we got our charcuterie. If the pacing was better, this would have been my top favourite.

With the chef menu at $65, it does seem a bit pricey but let me tell you that you will feast and be blown away by what you're given. We were offered a total of 7 dishes with a final offering of petit four ... so 8 dishes really. So if you're concerned you will be not getting any value... put those fears aside & just enjoy the show.

Finally found the best Pasta in Toronto! The pasta is very soft. The service is fantastic. The server introduced the special menu and ask us if we have any allergies. Also introduce every course when serving. Great place.

Delicious food and great service are hallmarks of this restaurant. My expectations were blown away - this spot takes fine dining to a whole new level. The lobster bisque is hearty and tasty, and the duck confit is the best I've ever had. Service here is amazing as well - Jess was extremely helpful and engaging during the course of the visit. This is a must-try for your next special occasion - it's worth making a reservation, as spots fill up very quickly!

Went to Richmond Station for dinner with my partner and his family. They were raving about their burgers from a previous visit. I ordered the tofu main and I have never had a saltier dish in my life. However, the polenta fries and wine we chose were enjoyable. Our server was lovely but overall I found it to be an underwhelming dining experience.

Amazing place to have a great meal. The chef's menu is where they just bring you whatever special things they decide to cook up that day. Everything was amazing and the drinks were fantastic. One of the better restaurants in the city. Must try!

Second time there last night. Excellent experience once again. The service and food were amazing. Had he tasting menu this time, it was great value. Tip, don't fill up on the bread, it's a lot of food!

The Station Burger is very tasty and it is very rare to find a place the offer medium-rare burgers.
I would prefer the more classic burger, it seems like they are trying too much.
The gluten-free bun was extremely tasty, different than any other gluten-free buns I've trasted.
The service is excellent and the place looks good.

This place was honestly pretty awesome. I was looking for a chef's taster menu place that wouldn't break the bank and this place did just that! They took our preferences and dietary restrictions and gave us a 9 course meal based on that. Although the portions may seem small they filled me up! They were all delicious! They also cleaned the table between every course and brought out new utensils.

Not impressed. The Shrimp Fresh Rolls were inedible thanks to an overpowering use of herbs.

To compound the failures we're sure there was no liquor in my Manhattan. The only reason there's a star is for the service. Otherwise this is a highly overrated establishment.

Get the kitchen menu and thank them afterwards. In the top 5 of best restaurants in this City. Local ingredients and good produce are allowed to speak for themselves, but only in part, as the kitchen puts their own indelible touch's on all the dishes. I've been multiple times and will keep returning.

Everything was delicious, but some meals are a bit delicate in their portion sizes. I particularly liked the perogies, smoked trout salad, and steak tartare. That said, the tartare in entree form was more like an appetizer. There are two seating areas... one in the back by the kitchen, which is fun, but loud when you first arrive. I don't think you'd do well with hearing aids in this section.

I've been here many times, and each time has been a pleasure. There's a ton of personality here - from the subway-inspired theme, to the service, and the food.

There are two menus here - the chalkboard specials, and the standard menu. In either case, meat and fish are the stars here, and the Station Burger is one of the best restaurant-quality burgers in the city.

The chalkboard specials are fun, but not as adventurous as I would usually hope. Even so, the special menus are an opportunity for chefs to experiment, and for that reason alone, I believe that it is worth considering. I would just hope for more risk-taking.

There is a reason why Richmond Station is one of the better food destinations in the city. While, personally speaking, it is not my favourite restaurant, it is an experience that nearly all guests can appreciate - making it an excellent choice when eating with friends.

My wife and I had a phenomenal experience. The food and the service were fantastic. We sat at the "chef's table" which gave us a unique opportunity to see the action in the kitchen. The kitchen staff were friendly and talkative; willing to indulge our curious and questions. Will go back again soon.

Came here for lunch with my fam and the food is not bad but it s pretty pricey and portions aren t too great. I enjoyed the polenta fries but I wouldn t order their gnocchi cus there was literally like 3 or 4 pieces of gnocchi for $25

Easily has become one of my favourite Toronto restaurants. From the small storefront to the moment you walk in to realize it goes deep in and with two different seating areas...it changes the atmosphere as well. The staff here are great, responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. The kitchen team..outstanding. It is on the pricier side but the care and selection of the dishes are well thought out. With the tasting menu and at the chefs table..it was the best way to understand the food and see the work behind it. The food is absolutely delicious with a lot of flavours and textures (the most important part I found which made them stand out more). They were also very accomodating with allergies and courteous about it.

Fantastic experience. Ask for the chef's tasting menu (about 50 CAD) and they'll throw all kinds of dishes your way. Also ask for wine pairing along with your meal if you're feeling indulgent. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely and consistently the best restaurant in Toronto, and my favorite place for an indulgent meal. Gourmet dishes at bistro prices, and always terrific service. This means, of course, it's incredibly busy so you'll want to make a reservation well ahead of time.

Received an order via curb side pickup which was an easy and seamless experience. Arrived home 15 minutes later and everything was still at the perfect temperature. The JR Station Burger was incredible! Paired wonderfully alongside the piri piri chips and the polenta fries. Can t wait to order again!! Also, I really appreciated all of the biodegradable packaging that is compostable.

Our company's Christmas party was held at this place. I think the chefs did a very good job preparing the meal... The servers were also very efficient and gave advise regarding best wine pairing.

Definitely a recommend.

Definitely a recommend.

Food : steak and cucumber salad. Really good salad. Kinda small on the portion for the price though. Salad is cheap- shouldn t be this small for the price, but it was good. The steak was a good size and seasoned well.

Service: was average. Had to wait a bit for the clean up and bill.

All in all, this is one of the better places to eat at for the price. I think the service could have been better.

The best dining experience I've ever had in Toronto. Very unusual combinations that worked out wonderfully. Excellent food, service, ambiance, a very courteous staff, and they went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was truly memorable.

We had a great evening at the chef's table where we could watch the chefs prepare their creations for everyone! We had the Duck Two Ways and the Rabbit Three Ways and all the ways were amazing. My husband said the duck breast was the best he had ever had. The staff and chefs were amazing to watch and we had the best dining experience! We will be back and recommend it to anyone living near or visiting Toronto!

This was my second time ordering a takeout from Richmond Station and it did not disappoint. My partner ordered the Station Burger and I ordered the kale and brussel sprouts salad and we also got some chunky chips as a side. My partner was pleased with the burger, but he found the quantity of the burger to be lacking and not justifying its price tag of $17 (especially considering it did not come with a side). I enjoyed the kale and brussel sprouts salad; the dressing was light and had a slight sweet note, which went really well with the bitterness from the vegetables and the salty ham. With that said, I wish they could have substituted ham for prosciutto (even if it means increasing the price tag) and added more acidity to the dressing to make the salad more balanced. The chunky chips were good and went well with the dipping sauce, though I wouldn't have said no to a bigger portion for the dipping sauce.

Overall, everything was good and tasted fresh even though it was a takeout. I'd be happy to order from here again and try other items on their menu.
