The BEST place to have your oil changed or import serviced. You get roadside assistance with your oil change purchase! Fresh cookies, coffee, and the best customer service. They even honor other dealers coupons. I always take my hyundai to Ricart. A+
Every time I brought a car here for service there was another problem that would need serviced. Why not find it before we leave. Not let us find it on our way home or going to work later that day.
The customer service here for the service department was horrible. They sold me a car a year and half ago and I have been in the shop twice being charged $400 a piece. They are big rip offs and out for your money!!! Horrible experience in the service department, the manager was rude and definitely didn t meet my needs.
Unfortunately, my husband found the exact car he was looking for at Ricart. On Thursday evening, he arrived at the dealership to test drive the "Certified" used vehicle and ended up purchasing it. He drove off the lot after 8pm to bring the car home.
Not even 12 hours later, on Friday morning after dropping our son off at school, the dashboard lit up with every warning light possible, power steering went out and car went dead. Ricart offered to tow it back and have it repaired, but honestly I was no longer comfortable with the vehicle, or Ricart's "Certified" used claim. I wanted to cancel the sale and get our trade in back. That was not an option.
Since Ricart wants you to LOVE your purchased vehicle, they offer a 72 hour exchange option. The paperwork states this exchange can be made for ANY vehicle at their dealership...however, it's not clear that this only applies to exchange used for used cars. You cannot exchange used to new.
Considering the inconvenience of a dead newly purchased car, missed work due to it, and NOW spending our Saturday back at Ricart trying to find a comparable vehicle, I had hoped Ricart would have gone a bit above and beyond for us. NOPE!!! We were unable to find a comparable vehicle and decided to allow them to fix the car. We had to stand firm that we wanted a tow truck to get the car that day. FAR too much of our time was wasted dealing with Ricart's mistake. They said they wanted to make it right, but certainly at their convenience and on their terms...not ours. A small attempt was made to get us a rental car (per our request) from the Enterprise located at Ricart, however it closes at noon on Saturday (and I honestly think this was just a "show" to make it appear they were trying).
On Monday afternoon they brought our repaired car to my husband's office. Not sure how a car inpected & Certified needs a battery and alternator replaced 12 hours after purchase! Then, it's laughable how Ricart ended up returning the car with less than a quarter tank of gas. See, they sold it like that and told my husband to come back for a fill up since the gas pumps were closed the night when he bought it. So, they had the vehicle at their dealership and didn't have the courtesy to fill up the tank after that had been promised at purchase.
Also...pretty scary that we were able to open the navigation system in the car and find the previous owners address & routes!
I just found the car we traded in on Ricart s website!!! Hilarious that...1. We originally asked to cancel the sale Friday morning after the car broke down, and wanted our trade in back. We were given the run around and ultimately told by manager Edwin that the car had already gone to auction....And 2. My husband had forgotten his prescription sunglasses in the traded in car. We asked multiple times and people if they could get the glasses out of the car for us. No one ever came through and now we find the car is sitting RIGHT on the lot!
Unbelievable and NEVER AGAIN! I will make sure EVERYONE I know hears about this experience! Save yourself from an experience like ours and shop somewhere else!
First I must say that my experience was remarkable... I filed bk7 in January and rcvd all these offers for a new car , I discarded all of then and for some reason I held on to Ricart offers and did not know why. I found it in my room and took it to work and decided to call. I s/w Rick and set the appt. I told him I had $2000 and was saving to get $3000 cause I knew I would need it, (so I thought). I got really sick at work and was not able to get the money out of the bank and so to my self, I had decided that I was not going plus it was cold and rainy , but unaware to me my daughter wanted to take me. So being sick still I decided to go . I was treated like I had money to pay cash for a any car on the lot. I was showed car's in my price range and something that would be close to the monthly payment I could afford. I test drove the 3rd car shown, and when we got back to the desk, I advised him that I had no money for a down payment and he fixed it to where I did not have to put money down and they took off an additional $100..Matt said that he would fix it so I did not have to put any thing down ,,God is good ..and Matt was Wonderful
My husband and I recently purchased a new vehicle (ford) from Ricart Automotive and we were blown away by the customer service! Dom was very helpful throughout the entire purchasing process and Zane made sure we were comfortable and informed with our cost and pricing. Our overall experience was definitely 5 star! We drove from Detroit, MI for a specific vehicle and would drive down again in the future because of the service we received! Thank you!
This dealer was willing to make amends on a bad car deal that turned out wasn't sold by him. I would highly recommend dealing with him. He was willing to do the right thing. He did NOTHING wrong.
On Friday my mother and I gave them permission to to run our credit to get a car from there. Today we did not and they guy runs our credit 4 times we were not on the lot. I was on the phone with a Ricart sales guy and I asked him what I should bring documents. After I hang up the phone he made 3 inquiries or more on my credit and mother's without permission which is illegal. I will be getting ahold of my lawyer for an illegal case. Never felt so violated in my life or my mother's.
February 1 11:30 am . I called the service group last night to schedule an oil change and ask them at least 30 times how much the price will be at the very most they told me 7995 I was happy I had an appointment for 12 o clock I came in today at 12 o clock and they informed me that my oil change would be $150 I have a trip tomorrow so I m forced to get the oil changed these people are double talkers and liars and they looked at me smug when I told them that I talk to somebody already there excuse was oh this is the call center and we re not responsible for the call center says well I m gonna tell you right now about to take your car there and have it serviced because you will have problems I spent A lot of money on a 2019 mustang GT for them to just look at me like that this place is terrible beyond terrible they offered no remedy they just blame it all on the call center while smiling at me acting like I was the dumb one terrible beyond terrible the worst service I have ever had possibly in my life at all cost I would recommend not even buying a car here after this experience The only reason they get one star is because I can t post without giving one star if you could put negative I will put negative stars like by 1000. This is a continuation on the following Tuesday I thought I would like to also tell everyone how I sat in the waiting room for three hours and watch the young man perform great customer service to all the customers he then left the same blonde haired girl who had been rude to me earlier then gave us our keys and sent us on our way now remember I had watched five other people already get their car wash that they are supposed to get they never offered me a car wash they just told me to go ahead and get on out of the out of the room then when I requested oneShe looked at me as if I was out of line. This same girl whose boyfriend sells new cars because she told the whole waiting room this same formed us that she was really sad that her boyfriend was a non-commissioned anymore because I used to have a lot of money but now the sales people don t get commission so they don t know what they re gonna do I felt this was inappropriate to tell the entire group of people in the waiting room and I did not gone to any sympathy for me I wasn t gonna say anything about all this but since I got a response that was not acceptable I thought I would go ahead and continue on with my story of the day
My father had spoke to two representatives about getting a base line model car and we asked if we could get it with a monthly payment of $180, me being a college student. We gave them my information that they would use to figure out my quotes before we even left. My dad said we wouldn't make the hour and half trip if they knew they couldn't help us. The representative that we mainly worked with said that we could definitely do that sir. We got there, spent our time signing paperwork, and tested the car for a few minutes, then waited on them to set up the last details. They then tell my dad that we would have a monthly payment of $250 on a base line car after we had already given them my information well beforehand and said we can't do that. They then bring out the one of the head workers to try to talk us into buying it before we left. They still only moved it to $220. They moved the price oh so quick, but only that small amount after knowing that we could only do 180? 220 monthly is not even close to 180 for a college student... They LIED and WASTED our time... NOT worth reasoning with them...
I researched the new 2018 Ioniq very carefully and knew to the dollar what I wanted to pay. All through the process they said I could haggle on the price. When it came to it I wanted to pay them a whopping, just over $250 less. What a small amount. It would have put the price exactly on my budget. They would NOT budge. Okay no big deal I got the car. Got home to go over the loads of paperwork to see that the cargo cover and floor mats were not standard as they said but the charged me $275 for these $40 items. I would have just pulled them out of the car to get my price but they mislead me to make more money. Disappointing.
The car is fantastic but 1 problem so far. The good is the car is wonderful inside and out. Drives great and I love it. I got 59.7 MPG taking the car home over 120 miles away. Problem: In the city, I am seeing at best in the low 40's when both the gas and battery are working together and gas alone, OMG under 10 MPG but it has been very cold. When it warms up if this doesn't improve dramatically I will be in the closet repair shop to find what's going on.
Over all I would say it was not a bad deal and the experience was good enough with only the cover and mat they misled me into. I would still say go for it if you want a new car from Ricart. Just be very alert for them slipping whatever they can get away with into your deal. Watch the sales team and the finance side. They will try to up-sell you way overpriced warranties and such with HARD sales pitch.
I love my new car, and the support I got from my sales rep, Drew M., was superb. He listened to what *I* wanted in a car, didn't try to steer me into buying more car than I needed, and helped me understand the new tech features. Buying a car can be overwhelming for someone who isn't into cars. They helped break it down into bite-sized pieces.
My family lives near Dayton and Groveport isn't exactly down the road. I called them around 3PM Thursday about a 2015 Volvo on their website and it was listed at $26K. They told me out the door cash I would pay $27k and they couldn't go lower. They had tried to pitch the dealership to me as being "Top Rated #1 in OH" and I told them I was more interested in the car then the sales pitch. I tried to get them down a bit and they said no. So the next morning my Mom and Brother made the trek to Grovesport (nearly 2 hours) and when they arrived they were informed the car had been sent to auction. Back to the web to find another car right? Well on the Ricart Website, they have the EXACT SAME CAR still listed except that now it's $24K instead of the $26K. They pulled a bait and switch. So I screen shot their website and am reporting them to the State. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!
Do not expect to call and get an honest answer, spent 11 hours after I called to ask if I was approved. Everything was good to go come up and let s get you car . When you get there knowing they told you on the phone with what you had and what you expected budget wise they could help you no problem. You will arrive to what you won t be able to do and look for a car free will with no answers to how much you are approved for or even come close to getting any answers to what you want to know instead you will get pushed into what they want you to look at they gave me 3 options to brand new cars and in the end told me I could not bc I was expected more money this way and that way. Went to the used car place the exact same day at ricart they were trying to help and of course the same answers no one could tell me how much I was approved for or even let you go look at cars to sit inside and wait on them to tell you what they want you to look at to get an answer of at closing time we will call you tomorrow first thing, day 2 no phone call, I called twice answers were yes we are working to find you a car. Didn t ask what I would be interested in, we will call you back but yes we can help but we have a Christmas party today and are closing early. Call back at closing sorry we can t help you, we called the place back the same next morning with offers of more money down than ask for from the first day and would have been able to give us that deal from the day before. And no call back. Day 3 i get a phone call again and said we have someone willing to work with you to get you in something. We will work on it. All in the same time as day 2 I went down the road to Carmax got a brand new car in less than an hour and was able to look freely knowing what we could get everything was up front and walked out with a car that I picked out with no hassle. At all they at Carmax even offered if we found a different car we like on their website from further away to get it for us. Less paperwork at Carmax and as I will say again we were told what we could get and let us freely look and also have us the option if we didn t like the car we got to bring it back within 7 days and exchange with no cost out of pocket. However the only good thing the managers that do check ups and call for your experience at their place called every day to assure we were satisfied.
It could all have been avoided with a straight up answer as we were expecting to begin with. Not a 3 day hassle. Thank you Carmax for our car we love it and our experience.
Thanks so much to Jason Motter and Mark Williams. You made a stressful time so much easier. We are so glad we chose to go to Ricart for a replacement car after ours was totalled in a hit and run. With my husband in the hospital it was scary to shop for a new used car without my husband. The Chevy Equinox Jason and Mark helped me out with got me a "you did good" from my husband. The whole process was wonderful and I truly appreciate the thoughtfulness of these gentlemen. AAA+. Thanks so much from my husband for all the help. I will absolutely be recommending Ricart to anyone we know in the market for a new used car.
Nick said my daughter was approved and said " Let's go get your new car" and then after waiting for two hours told her the bank says no. Bad customer service. Then he called us both liars. They can keep their junk.
I bought 2019 Chevy 1500. After doing first maintenance was informed had different tires on truck. Guess I should have looked but since it was 2019 with only 10-11 thousand miles on it you would think they would be same. Called and spoke with Steve walker who informed me that they don t care if there are different tires on it with different treads that as long as they meet thread depth and are what they call safe then that s all they care about. I informed him that that they could wear differently because of different tread. He said they didn t care as long as tires meet their qualifications and he said then change tires at my cost. I asked how I could get ahold of rick ricart the owner and he informed me I wouldn t and would have to deal with him or his manager.very unprofessional. All I was asking is for the tires to be same even if it was just replacing one tire. He informed me the previous owner probably did it and they probably did it cause it was cheap and didn t do it the way i would cause no one has your income. Why my income has anything to do with getting a tire replaced but ok. So I guess when you end up spending 30000+ with it art you can t even get 4 tires the same. It s sad that the company couldn t and doesn t care what kind of car or truck you buy and how much money you spend Weather s it s new or older used that it s their way or no way
The best dealership we just have been to Today we bought 2014 Ford Focus and Customer service is awesome and Salesgirl name Courtney she is very friendly and helpful she made our experience very pleasurable.
Not feeling great about the service I've been getting. I take my car in regularly, and always tell them it doesn't feel like it's running well, but that never seems to be addressed. Last time I somehow signed up for the express service which I did not mean to, and I sat for two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I'm considering looking for another certified Kia maintenance place. I'd like to be faithful to Ricart, but I think that maybe they are too big.
Not a bad experience, other then taking forever to deal with the finance manager. I got a good deal on an Explorer and the salesman was very helpful and knowledgable.
The techs are very knowledgeable and customer oriented. Extremely professional. My check engine light came on while driving home from work. I came directly to Ricart and they worked me in without an appointment.
Case, Aaron, Nick, Adam and Steve are consummate professionals. Likable, thorough, understanding and very transparent throughout the process. Unfortunately we just missed the mark on inking my 4th deal with Ricart due to some hang-ups with the vehicle I'm currently leasing. No fault of theirs though as the market makes the rules. I'll be back though. Thanks Gentlemen!
I have always heard really negative things about Ricart but I saw a truck that seemed like a pretty good price so I checked it out. My salesperson Abby was very professional and did a good job showing me the vehicle. Unfortunately I hit a brick wall when dealing with finance and the sales manager, apparently there is no negotiating on used vehicles any longer. Even asking for things that are normal at other large car lots are out of the question. Things like a detail on the car or a tank full of gas or an extra key fob are enough for a manager to tell you a line must be drawn in the sand somewhere. I questioned the sales manager about saying this and told him it seemed silly to lose a sale over it. The sales managers response was " I'm just the messenger, I'm just telling you what the finance guy said." I will listen to my friends from now on and stay away from the shysters at Ricart. I will continue to pass the word to anyone looking for a car, new or used. Go Anywhere but Ricart...
Update: I did receive a call from the used car sales manager. They did work with me and I did buy the vehicle. I am willing to give them credit for that and give an additional two stars. However it shouldn't have needed to reach the point of a bad review.
I can't begin to explain the headache and really poor customer service Ricart gives. I really don't know how people continue to buy cars there. All that being said, I'll try to be concise with my complaint. They were supposed to refund me money for a service they didn't follow through on. I received a portion of it after many many phone calls and speaking to the manager of that department. But now after more calls I've made, like before, no returned calls. All I'm wanting is the money they were supposed to give me. But all I get are excuses, poor customer service, and no returned calls. I don't know if small claims is an option but I'll be looking into my options. Beware of shopping there. After you buy a car it's all down hill.
Add on: I would like to say that in both of the bad customer service experiences I had, Cindy followed up with me. I will say that she did a great job of trying to clean up the bad experiences; I really appreciate her help.
I like the idea of being able to watch them drain the oil and put the filter on I know of places that will go through the motions and tell you they change the oil and I didn't right there you can watch him do it
David Sasso was awesome start to finish. We came in initially to look at a Kia but after hearing what we wanted and needed he gave us an even better option and we left with a Hyundai. I appreciate that he actually listened and didn t try and sell me on anything.
It was a good experience they fixed oil change and and we had to go back to get the radiator fixed but everything is good now I everybody was really nice there and don't have to call me and see if you want to go
Rented a vehicle to go out of town when my sister passed away. Very nice very pleasant and clean. I do appreciate that Enterprise rental car is located at ricart Auto Mall.
I was just in Ricart today and purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT from Shawn. Shawn was my sales person and he was very knowledgeable and very friendly the entire time. Gave me great advice on down payments and showed me the different options with the amount of down payments I was willing to do. He was friendly and personable during the test drive also, we joked around and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend buying a car from Ricart!! The finance department was also wonderful and the cashier lady was pleasant and friendly as well!! I couldn t be happier with my experience at Ricart!! Just to add: it does take time to buy a car, don t expect to go in and be done in an hour. That s not reasonable anywhere to be honest. But that said, they brought snacks, drinks, and coloring books for my kids! Had coffee and even fresh popcorn!!!
We approached Ricart Hyuandi only knowing a little bit about what we wanted in a car. Jim Liebhart greeted us at the door and was immediately very informative and friendly. He welcomed us in and treated us like we were right at home. He took the time to pay attention to what we were interested in and made suggestions of different cars based on those interests which ultimately lead us to finding a car that we are very very happy with! Even after finding our perfect car, he still took the time to give us advice and keep us updated on the financial aspect of things while we waited! Everyone was extremely friendly and we ll definitely be buying our next car here!
Tried to buy VW TDI. Broken visor, missing floor mats which were advertised on the site, broken cigarette lighter cover, and questionable Continental tires on the front. Firm on pricing, UNWILLING to make repairs to please the customer.
Price was fair, car was in better shape than same models at two other large Columbus-area dealers and Nate the sales guy was fast and didn't waste my time with typical used car sales guy B.S.
Once Nate realized I was a serious buyer and just needed to evaluate this specific car, we were full throttle toward the finish line, and I appreciated that.
For the test ride, he handed me the keys and said, "take it out as long as you want." There was no prescribed route or time limit.
As for the car, it presented very well. It ran strong and performed as expected when asked to accelerate past the point of reasonable traction (sorry, Nate). It was clean and had no strange noises or vibrations. I'm surprised at the number of large, big-name dealers who don't seem to properly detail, or even vacuum, their late-model used cars. I get that this is a lot of work, but Ricart apparently can pull it off; this car was spotless.
A couple other cars that I drove at other dealerships of the same age (2013) and miles (around 40k) were filthy and, even more troubling, vibrated almost to the point of a safety concerns. Either I was the first one to drive those cars (doubtful) or they just didn't care.
I forget the name of the finance guy, but he was just as quick. Of course, he pushed the extended warranty pretty hard, but that's his job. Once we went through the motions and I said "no" the proverbial three times, he whipped through the paperwork in a flash and I was out of there.
It's important to understand that buying a car, especially a used one, is a two-way street. Often when people have bad experiences, it's because they didn't know what they wanted or what they could afford when they walked into the dealership. I arrived at Ricart knowing exactly what I wanted, with experience shopping this model and with financing already set up and a down payment ready to go.
I can't comment on what type of experience you'll have if you go in unprepared, or work with a different sales rep, but if you have your business in order and expectations properly set, Ricart and Nate the sales guy are a solid option.
I left insulted. Please do your homework if you do business with them. I was offered $13k for my trade when they sell the same make model and year without the options mine has for about 18k and that was their special pricing. The model with similar options was almost $20k. I consider that usery. I wonder how many people they did this to. I get they have to make money but that is obscene. They had theirs priced based on a 'best value guaranty' which to me says they intentionally tried to screw me over. Never will I go back. Shame on you guys
Have been coming here for years but today there was a lot of disorganization that made me wonder about the quality of service I will receive...even though I had appointment and showed them the confirmation email they still even could not figure out where my appointment was in their system
The used Passat we purchased didn't have heat on the passenger side, that we didn't notice during the test drive. They replaced the heater core with an aftermarket one that leaked and we've had to take it back to get fixed again, this time with VW parts. We bought the car 3 weeks ago and have been able to drive it for about 5 days total. Kinda disappointing, at least we are not paying for the repairs, other than having to rent a car for a week...
I was greeted upon entering the Ricart Ford dealership and was asked a few basic questions before starting. They did smaller but noticeably nice things that add up to a great experience. For example, asking if I need a drink or snack every so often and taking plenty of time to think about things, I never felt rushed. Everyone at Ford was polite and professional and offered me to call them personally if I had any questions. In the end, I walked out with a deal happily.
Nothing but lies. Don't buy from Ricart, they will gave you one price on the phone to get you to drive to them. Then after you get there the price go's up. (Way up)
I would give them a 0 if I was able a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME . You tell them the car your interested in (a SPECIFIC CAR) they let you think they ll work with you once you get there they run your credit multiple times then come back and say oh you ll need a co-signer with a 650 credit score in the beginning I told him up front my score is low I m a first time buyer and I don t want to put a hard inquiry on my account well now there s 5 from 1 damn dealership not to mention I only went there for a test drive to begin with I still don t even know if the car was actually there because he keep bringing up other cars for me to look at. Then he comes back and says sorry we won t be able to help you , after you wasted my damn time ran my credit 5 times which still makes no sense to me . Ppl don t go here unless you have 4000 to put down or a credit score of 650 !! The reviews are true about the bait and switch if BEN OR MATT CALLS YOU DONT RESPOND !
Ricart is an amazing dealership with the most courteous and professional sales team members! We have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Ricart and would recommend them to all our family and friends!
All has been resolved finally. I will give another star.
I purchased a used vehicle back in August 2017 (see my previous review for the bad experiences) and it came with a MotorTrend Easy Care warranty. Great! Unfortunately my vehicle needs repair. So, I contacted Easycare and they told me that the repair I need is covered but my warranty is expired. What! There's no way I drove 7500 miles in 4 months! It turns out the mileage reported to Easycare was incorrect. So, I have been calling Ricart for days and leaving several messages with finance and have had NO response. I need this fixed NOW so I can repair my vehicle. I will NEVER recommend Ricart to anyone. I've had the WORST customer experience here. I'm posting this in hopes someone from Ricart will read this and contact me to resolve this mistake that was Ricart's fault in the first place!
Update: was finally contacted today. Problem still not resolved. Waiting to hear back again. In the mean time, my car needs repaired and this is a big inconvenience.
I highly recommend Ricart Ford. I have bought several cars here and the last two Ben Keeran was my sales consultant and he is wonderful. Go visit him for your next Ford!!
Liars, don't buy from them. We turned in a leased vehicle and purchased a new one. During the dealing process we asked what we would owe on the old vehicle and were told,by the sales manager, that we could just walk away and owe nothing. We completed the deal and 2 weeks later received a bill from Hyundai Motor Finance for over $1,400 on the old leased vehicle. Called HMFC and they said there was nothing they could do, they always get their money from either the customer or the dealer. The dealer refuses to answer pages or respond to messages or emails. Do not buy from this dealership, they will lie and cheat to make a sale.
My husband brought our Kia Sedona in to be aligned this afternoon 7/12 & it appears to have been dropped off the lift resulting in busted shocks that are now sitting on the rear wheel (grinding metal on metal). It began grinding while I was driving it a short distance this evening & I had to have it towed to your dealership. I need a service supervisor to please call me as soon as possible to discuss & make this right. I will also need a rental vehicle provided by Ricart while our van is repaired.
When we arrived at Ricart we intended on looking at new Mazdas and after wandering the lot for 45 minutes, no one came to help us like we were told. So we hopped in the car and headed to the used car lot to cruise through before leaving. Nate walked all the way out to us and greeted us, willing to help. He was great. Never pushed for something we weren t interested in, and got the sale from us! He worked with us for a deal and we were comfortable with out purchase.
The van is nice. However, I am not recieving the proper communication about correcting some of the minor issues that existed prior to purchasing. I have discussed with 2 managers and both have not responded with corrective actions. Understanding it is Christmas time, I am being patient. 6 days later is becoming frustrating.
If I could give less than 1star I would! I put in an application a few weeks ago and just went downhill from there. The first woman who reached out went back and forth with me about the down payment and it kept going up! I told her I was no longer interested in paying more for the down payment than ANYONE else I applied for financing for! So #1 they don't work with you. Second person who reached out to me was only 4 days later and he wanted me to do a new application caus for some reason he was not competent enough to find the one from 4 days ago and hit my credit again; again I said I am not interested in playing incompetent games. Lastly the man who called me today his name was Steven walker.. he said he was a financial manager and the other 2 people were just sales people and he's he only one making the final say...yeah right. I entertained him for a minute until he asked if I payed taxes.... What The Heck? How many applications do you have from me? Why is no one competent? Why did he ask if I payed taxes just to say if I didn't I would be get approved...... I work from home idiot yes I pay taxes, and NO again I DO NOT want a car through you because you all have made it clear how the process would go!
