A vibrant space with lots of development including new bar lounge with live music. A great program of shows in the theatre and local cakes in the cafe.

I've seen the Forbidden Nights here a couple of times now and have given blood. Car park could do with more disabled spaces and could do with being larger.

Great little theatre...kids loved it so very much. We were seated in the front row of the balcony and got a good view of everything though slightly detatched from the action at the front of the stage. Good snacks and drinks selection from the bar, sadly west end prices applied..friendly staff too.

I volunteer at a group called Hummingbird which is a Cancer back-up group. We meet approx every two weeks in The Rhodes Center. The venue has such a relaxing atmosphere for our group and all the staff are fantastic we thank them for allowing us to use The Rhodes.

We are lucky to have this facility in Bishops Stortford. Lots of shows, films and events. Check the website as the best shows sell out quickly

A large theatre room with accompanying rooms for rehearsals and attached museum. Larger on the inside than one might realise. Often hosts local theatre groups, kids' workshops and has a well stocked bar. Live venue is good, often attracts a more mature crowd.

A good hall. Nice venue and well priced. Flash Queen tribute was amazing.

Ideal for meeting a group of friends, having a drink and chatting.

Great for a quick meeting with delicious cake and machine coffee.

The show we saw was great, but the bar service was very slow and our pre-booked interval drinks which were a couple of medium sized wines came up 5 minutes into the break and weren't the correct size,I think it was only a double measure, certainly not the intended 175 ml. We couldn't complain as the bar was so busy. In short more bar staff needed.

Very comfortable lovely theatre, excellent atmosphere

A friendly arts centre with a 250-seat theatre that largely receives touring acts and shows. There is a Rhodes produced pantomime every year and community events, but most shows are of the eponymous touring tribute act variety we find everywhere nowadays. There is a a bar area that also sells coffee and light refreshments. The theatre bar and auditorium has recently been refurbished to a comfortable standard. The museum and art gallery is for local interest.

This is a interesting place to visit, it gives you a good history on Cecil Rhodes and bishops stortford.

Good small venue for watching a tribute band, we arrived early and parking was fine. Bar was reasonable price.

Good range of shows and events. Friendly staff. And the best panto in Essex!

Nice place,there is a theatre,a bar and a lot of space where you can seat.

Loved it however, car park gets busy and it doesn't help if impatient , rude and selfish drivers don't consider others as they plough through , regardless of traffic.

Love this place. Large enough to have good things (plays, music etc) and small enough to enjoy them.

As well as being a theatre/ cinema it has a comfortable lounge and coffed/bar area

Has been modernised and adapted to cater for event's.friendly staff,easy parking,reasonable prizes in coffee ship/bar and loads of events on offer.

Saw Horrible Histories show with the family. Well laid out building with lots going on. Cafe on site was reasonable. Parking on site was limited.

A great local facility that I should make more use of. The theatre seating is now very comfortable, prices reasonable, good bar and car parking.

Convenient, close to home. Good range of entertainment parking can be an issue.

What a truly excellent panto. We will be back next year

Watched beauty and the beast. Really really good show, the 2 sets of lead characters were great and so we're the dame and side kick. It's a little scary in a few places so if your kids get scared easy make sure you are sitting next to them!

Visited for a blood donation session. Car parking is usually available.

Saw a kids rock concert. The venue is well organised, good bar area, parking could be better, given there isn't really any other way to get there spaces are at a premium. Overall a well kept and impressive events venue

Excellent little theatre with a good range of workshops, shows and productions for all interests and ages.

Pantomime was excellent girls really enjoyed the performance. We would highly recommend the panto.
