Delicious eaten in a tastefully decorated restaurant

Nice location. Staff very friendly. Tasty pancakes. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This afternoon we stopped here during a cycling trip across the Veluwe. The pancake was delicious, the coffee fine. The Pied Cow I will go there again and again.

Feast of recognition the reactions below. We had dinner here yesterday and we also share the opinion that the owners (assuming yesterday's husband and wife were) were very curt and could make a laugh with pain and effort.
We have taken venison steak, it was highly recommended, especially this time of year, description on the menu is: "wild from the Veluwe" apparently brought by the wholesaler: s found the food itself nice but certainly not worth the money unimaginative, and as a side dish a shared bowl with fries and a shared bowl of carrots.
As mentioned, the service was short and businesslike, I personally hate that I almost feel grateful that I can eat somewhere, hospitality can really be greatly improved and there can certainly be inspiration in terms of food.

The young man who came to bring us our food and cleared the table was very neat and correct.

Schnitzel Bontekoe was very disappointing. The sauce was a cauliflower vegetable sauce from a supermarket bag supplemented with a few wedges of canned mushrooms. The attachment was too small, for one person rather than two. The salad turned out to be coleslaw, not my first choice as a main salad. You use that as a dressing on a salad. Actually, only the schnitzel was good.

The asparagus, were tasty with salmon.
The terrace is cozy, the service is smooth.
We will come back there again.

Every question was answered with a blunt yes or no, if you already received an answer!
The ministry - a lady - likewise. She wrote down the order with an ironwork. It seemed as if the holidaymakers are fed up. Yet this is their bread. Why was the case full?
Because the soup tasted really good and so did the pancake, well stocked for an otherwise reasonable price. Apparently people are better at this than treating their customers.
The waiting time was quite acceptable.
Well, only the owner, who was behind the bar, being miserable. When he left, there was no thanks and good day to him. Mr. counted money. Unbelievable that you can afford such behavior. He also behaved very unfriendly to other customers. I continue to be surprised.

Food was fine! Operation may be a bit nicer and make you feel more welcome. Restaurant decoration is really okay ... even the toilet has a cow theme!

Have a lunch between tours. I don't often give 5 stars but everything is right here. Clean toilets, friendly and fast staff, and croquettes with a lot of meat. And as an addict, the coupe with fresh strawberries is of course a pleasure. Not too much fuss, just strawberries, a scoop of good vanilla ice cream and a dash of whipped cream.

Traditional Dutch food for the reasonable price. Don't expect too much and don't pay too much.

Poor slow service. Are chatting inside with their hands but people on the terrace are just waiting. Pancakes were bland, undercooked, and the flour from the mill looked like it had been open for months. Furthermore, raw toppings on the pancake. After a quarter stopped and in the evening right on the toilet. It is a shame but we will not eat here again. PS, doing something more with the wasps complaints would not be a superfluous luxury.

Very nice restaurant, neat staff and very tasty menu card. Everywhere you look are cows, so the theme is very clear haha. Made it very cozy and cozy for my taste in combination with the layout of the restaurant. Planking dessert is definitely recommended if you can't choose. Even though I was quite full, it was worth it.

Do you think you're going out cheaply, you still have 35 We had won via Holiday Auction. For 2 p. eat unlimited pancakes. NOT SO !!!!!!! Only pancake natural or with 1 ingredient. And they do not say that ... !!! So we NEVER come back again !!!!

Only had a drink on the terrace. Friendly staff. Big terrace. Reasonable prices. Unfortunately no separation of smokers and non smokers. Not recommended for people with asthma, COPD or other respiratory diseases.

Nice restaurant if you want to have a snack and drink between cycling / touring.

Cozy and homey furnishings. Wide beer and wine choice. My salmon sandwich was very tasty and the pancakes from Mn kids were in the shape of a cow, and they smoked deliciously. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come again.

The food is tasty but very little.
When serving, it is immediately said that you can ask for more vegetables and chips, but then they will not show up anymore.
It is also not asked whether everything is satisfactory.
If we are going to eat there again, I will order 2x vegetables and 2x fries with it.

Lovely terrace, even if you only have a short break.

Cozy place with a nice view on a busy intersection where you can watch a lot of people drive by with motorcycles en bikes. The portions are not that big. They forgot our second order of drinks but that s maybe because there was also a large group. Its also a shame that there are ashtrays on every table. Smoking while other people are eating should not be aloud.

This afternoon we had lunch with the three of us, we had bunnies with white bread but got brown bread. Well ..... also tasty. Then 4 people came behind us with 4 dogs, it was raining so the dogs were soaking wet. This stank terribly and my appetite severely diminished. To make matters worse, the dogs were tightened by the staff who then provided food to the next customer.
