Top! Nice sitting today on the beautiful terrace. It was very busy but we were well and quickly helped, very nice and friendly service! The food was tasty too! We will definitely come again!

Grand cafe in a beautiful location on the beach where you can always eat. Whether it is for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Not worth 1 star yet! First we had to wait half an hour until we were helped, after 1.5 hours the starter was not on the table .... then we left. Worthless! Then go to eat at Vitesse (what was next). And that is really a must! Super tent! Good food and friendly and fluent staff!

Cozy service, cheerfully received, until you get your order and it is not good. According to the chef, medium steak is apparently equivalent to a shoe sole, and if you indicate this as a complaint, you will be sent away twice. It's that I find it indecent to walk away, but that actually would have been the best option. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews prematurely, because that had saved us a lot of frustration and made the chance of a pleasant evening a lot bigger ...

Very unfortunate of the evening, ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list because I like to have the choice myself! With the main course the wine was still very cold and not to taste which is a shame with angus steak. After 1.5 hours the wine finally came into its own, but I poured the bottle. A pity about your dinner, a pity about the wine. If you then want to do something interesting as a wine connoisseur, you will really have to serve better wine from the climate cabinet and don't give your guests who make a conscious choice of wine a tip "that it is better to take the bottle off table". It was over because I didn't like the bottle and sent it back.

Menu is fairly brief but the food was okay. Came here with teenagers and everyone went away happy. I went for a Dutch classic 'uitsmijter': ham, 3 eggs and cheese served on brown bread. Wholesome but tasty.

Friendly service, varied menu, high-quality food, interesting side dishes, freshly baked bread. The steak I chose was served on the spot cooked. I would have been happy about a few grams more ... My wife was very satisfied with the taste of the salad on goat cheese. No snapper in price, but high-quality food has its price on the beach promenade. The decor is pleasantly rustic. We would love to come back.

Delicious food and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We had not booked, it was very busy, but a table for 4 was quickly arranged and gluten-free was not a problem either.

I don't know what went wrong here, asking twice where the apple pie goes and asking for coffee three times is just pretty annoying. The demand for the bill, however, was not addressed by deaf ears and was ready within a matter of seconds. The service tried to keep it nice, but of course it does stop. We will not return here.

Very delicious food at "good" prices in the Compared to the restaurants one floor down on the beach. Service is quick and very friendly!

The Saronno cocktail was very tasty. The atmosphere cozy. The service was very impatient.

The restaurant wasn t full in New Year s Eve, but we were offered a table at the cold window by the attendant. Our guess he had more reservations and expect more guests to come. The rest rooms are small and reasonably clean. We had a starter bread and daily soup, for the main course the Gambas and Mixed Grill, see attached photos. The food was satisfying to good. We didn t check for any restaurant on the internet before we went there, the decision was fully intentional, so is the rating. Price-value ratio overall is fair to expensive what you would expect from a location close to the beach.

Is a cozy restaurant on the boulevard. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately a complete disappointment: None of the burgers on the menu could be served that evening (for whatever reason), so we all took the veggie burger in the hope of getting something tasty and of the same quality for the price for 13.95. But the "burger" was a culinary catastrophe: a dried up bun that tasted like yesterday's baked goods leftovers. With a beetroot meatball, no sauce and a tiny piece of avocado. For just under 14. The only halfway friendly service suffered a change in mood when we wanted to pay separately. "No, unfortunately that doesn't work here" and she was gone. My tip: For a delicious veggie burger, go a few meters further to McDonald's! The price-performance ratio is right and the service is also better.

Cozy a little drunk, unfortunately the waiter dropped a bowl of red sauce at a table next to us. Can happen of course, however, no solution came to this. All of my trousers, shoes and bag and the jacket of my cornuit are to the buttons and we were presented with the full bill. A pity.

Had a lovely lunch at Westewind in Scheveningen. The choice fell on a spicy chicken sandwich, which was very tasty, but could have been a bit spicier;) We sat by the fireplace and enjoyed it! Thanks

Been to Westewind yesterday. Here was the opening of the singer-songwriter concept on Monday evening. Charly Luske and his friends Danjil Tuhutema and Nick Bult have kicked off. It was a very successful evening in which my wife and I listened to rich music while enjoying good food and drinks. All praise for the service!

The food was delicious, but the service could be faster.

Food tasted good but very expensive, little sauce with the spare ribs unfortunately.

Gambas were not fresh, tasted like ammonia. Mussels also not tasteful. Food was also cold. After this was indicated, nothing was done with it. The remaining fish was tasty. Operation friendly.

Very pleasant service, one of the group is Vegan and even though there was nothing on the menu for vegan's, the chef did make something for her. Is much appreciated!

Ended up here due to the storm. Sitting comfortably in itself. The disadvantage I found was that ordering did not always go well because not everyone could answer, some only brought and cleared. I found the bitterballen really bad taste, the shrimp croquettes were again tasty.

Had a high tea with family not long ago. For 4 people we received 2 slices of bread, 2 slices of fillings per type, a sea of toppings in tubs, half an egg fried per person, 2 mini balls and nothing special. There was only one person in the ministry who was walking around in a very chaotic way and made many mistakes. It took more than half an hour before we could even take a bite. We had paid for 4 people through an auction but got everything that was scanty for 2 people. Never again!

Good food and consistently good service! We go here 9 times out of 10 if we want to get a good lunch or dinner on the boulevard.

Oh oh, Westewind. What went wrong tonight. A loyal visitor to your shop for lunch or a drink for 15 years. But tonight, Christmas Day 2019 ended in a big disappointment for us! Neatly arranged by appointment at 6 p.m. Appetizer received on time. Main course did not come through. Every time it was promised: another 10 minutes and then the main course. According to the service's explanation, 3 out of 5 chefs did not show up! Finally served at 8.30 p.m. Unfortunately a tasteless vegetarian risotto. This returned and in consultation also the main menu of partner returned and settled. The evening could not be saved at your restaurant unfortunately. Eventually the Christmas meal at Mac Donalds finished. You will understand that we are very disappointed. A one-time slider ??? Van Elst family from Amersfoort.

So we spent a nice evening with good food at good prices .. nice staff ... only drawback no drinks with prices etc.

Upon arrival at 4:05 pm we (2 people) immediately asked if we could eat a late lunch, and the employee said that it was possible. When, after ordering our drink from another employee, we asked for the menu, he said that we could not order food because lunch could be ordered until 4:00 PM and dinner only at 5:00 PM. We could only order snacks, so we did it. Only half an hour later we saw and heard other guests get the menu and order from it. Very strange that we are not allowed to order 5 minutes after lunch time, but others are allowed 20 minutes before dinner time .. It also took a very long time to get the attention of the staff and even when we asked someone to order and again when we asked for the bill, this was either forgotten or said that a colleague would do it, which didn't happen either. In short, we have not had a good experience.

Very cozy eatery right on the pier in Scheveningen. The staff is really super friendly and totally accommodating. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into after the Corona period. The food was also very tasty and appropriate for the price of the portion sizes

We booked a table for silvester night for 8.30 PM. Some days before the 31st of december, we got a mail, that our reservation was canged to 7.30 PM. Okay not what we wanted, but okay. Then we went there at 7,30 and the first thing we were told was, that kitchen closes at 8 o`clock and we can only have a quick meal. No starter, no dessert. No one told us when we reserved the table and there was no notice on the website. So we ordered a fish plat and it was 50 Euro for 2 person. Half of the plate was missing and the fish was very bad. We will never go here again. Shame on you!!!

Unfortunately we also give 1 star. The carpaccio was tasteless and the finish was rubbish. Unfortunately, the burger on the house was also a disappointment. Our neighbors were offered a sandwich. We do not. Staff didn't care much either. Not recommended.

We sat here relaxed for a while. They printed a special coloring page for my daughter. Then you earn an extra star!

A very nice restaurant, delicious and plenty of food. The theater menu is highly recommended!
