I am and have always been very satisfied with the artistic direction. Great staged pieces, elaborate stage sets.
Only the service in the area of ticket sales is more difficult to reach by phone than Deutsche Bahn, not at all and also in the area of goodwill in the case of a booking error, not exactly customer-oriented.

Interesting are all ideas. Something modern, with young actors, just awesome. Acting in a different way. If you have the time and inclination for modernity, you should not miss out and visit a show. The entire staff was friendly and nice. It is recommended.

I went in with the hope of seeing a frack or a monocle there. Unfortunately, I only saw 98% of people over 65 years of age who had already clouded their senses with alcoholic beverages before the extremely uninteresting show. Otherwise this "show" is apparently unbearable. In addition, these people probably think they are semi-divine beings trapped on a stupid world. You can already smell this arrogance at the frankfurt main station. It is probably not exactly absurd that visitors to the theater like to be painted naked with a crown by a minority in their free time or to throw breadcrumbs at the homeless.

We saw a Beckett, you have to like that. The theater itself is easy to reach and well organized. I had some problems with the acoustics as a bad listener. To my knowledge, the theater offers no help in this regard.

A large variety of plays including the Main Stage, the "Box" and the Kammerspiele. Always very good and mostly with a hint of politics. Definetly worth it!
Students Pay 8euros, or can get a card ( Junges Schauspiel) for 20euros, which include activities, three free entries and the rest of the tickets dor 5 euros!

Good theater, I find it particularly systematic that the operas can also be heard in front of the house.
So it is a great way for people who like classical music and opera to enjoy it for free.
I like to buy a beer or coffee from time to time and sit on the stairs at Willi Brand Platz. I ll never be Aleine.

The Schauspielhaus is worth a visit. Best opera house in Germany for years. Interesting productions in the drama. Classics and new pieces. A look at the website is recommended. Details about the piece and press releases.

Very talented actor. Comfortable seats. The interpretations of the pieces are usually extreme and in some places too modern. As in most theaters, the pieces are very liberal and politically rather leftist. Students pay 8 regardless of the chosen place.

I like to go as a student and pay 8Euro even if I am sitting in the second row. Otherwise, everything is always great: cleanliness in the toilets and always sufficient and above all competent staff present. Never experienced a delay or "incident". The schedule changes often and is mixed, even pieces for children from 7 or 9 years old. Sometimes there are introductions in front of the plays, where you can ask questions or tours. I particularly like that I can always print my ticket online without any problems - so you can also use it as a train ticket (.... the train ticket would cost back and forth alone about 8Euro).

Conclusion: Dear theater than cinema! :)

Each ticket for this "spectacle" is subsidized by the magistrate = taxpayer with around 200. As a "thank you" to the locals, they will then, as currently at the end of Feb. 2021, be mocked with an "art campaign" and vilified as being left behind. One of the few good things about "Corona" is that these stalls are closed and hopefully it will be forever stay.

The SchauspielFrankfurt has probably the most democratic stage of the great German stages. Best theater enjoyment from all seats regardless of price. I would just abolish the possibility to reserve tables in the bistro during the breaks.

I can not recommend the Schauspielhaus because of ...

I can not recommend the Schauspielhaus because of the staff and their attitude. Trainees over the age of 30 are discriminated against on grounds of their age.
Trainees with a monthly net salary of 350 - 700 Euro are allowed to acquire tickets of 8 Euro. Trainees over 30 who sometimes have only 100 - 200 euros to live, after deducting rent, electricity, .... should pay the full price. So they are punished and are not allowed to enjoy the German culture, because the food to eat higher priorities.
Sad though was. In addition, one is on the phone (think Mrs. Jung was called the lady) shouted at confrontation of discrimination and you can not speak. During the Anschreins the lady instructed me, I should not yell at her and be excused. However, I would have been in a somewhat lukeier tone and since between talking did not get word, as the woman screamed into the phone to justify the house. Eventually, she just hung up. They can not handle customers who do not fit in with the stuff and, as you know, they say "it's coming back to the woods as soon as they come back". Please be excused, then you also hear, please do not be loud, then you do not have to be loud. I prefer to buy the 10 tickets for us trainees elsewhere, where trainees are appreciated with little money and you understand that the full price is not payable.

Never again I come to this house, never again Do I recommend the house, never again do I suggest anything from this house.

"GERMAN ME NICH FULL" I'm ashamed of you! I came to DE 30 years ago, learned the language, started a family, and have a very well-paid job. The rule of law and coexistence in DE is only comparable to a few other countries around the world.
YOU and their kind form the basis for strengthening the right camp. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!
