Stayed in 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. My husband and I with 94 yr old father in law and 2 cats Clean hotel courteous staff on site $laundry and small "$store" with salty and sweet treats. Nice kitchenette with full size oven microwave coffee pot toaster dishwasher and refrigerator. Plenty of room for all of us even on a very stormy rainy day. Convenient drive into D.C. Easy access to foods from steak to pizza to Mexican to diner to McDonald's and Wendy's. And CVS for those things like juice and allergy meds. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms clean with plenty of counter space. Convenient parking lot in front and secured basement garage with plenty of parking spaces Typical breakfast cereal make your own waffles bagels and scrambled eggs every day. And get together mon-wed had a Mexican night with chorizo queso one night and grilled bratwurst another. Would definitely stay again.
Modern funky decor and I like the efforts at sustainable (ie eliminating some of the toiletry bottles with larger ones in the shower). The first night, the fire alarm went off really early and some of the hot menu items were missing from the breakfast. But the next day, the breakfast seemed to be back to normal with many hot and cold options even for people with dietary restrictions. Quiet and nice place to stay- excellent value considering the cooking area.
Great, Clean, friendly hotel. Very good price for the area considering most hotels are too pricey!
Booked a 2 room overnight and when we i went to check in they apparently gave the room to someone else and instead we got a room that cost twice as much and only had one bed. One of the pillows had mold on it. The only nice thing was the layout of the room and the breakfast is great.
The room was clean and generally well maintained. The door handle got stuck sometimes, which made it difficult to get into the room. The breakfast wasn't bad, but could have had a better selection.
Loved the room. Clean, beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast. Customer service was excellent.
Breakfast is served until 9. "Fitness center" is really small. It has 2 treadmills and a stationary bike and some dumbbells packed in a small room. The rooms are nice and clean. I enjoyed my stay here.
Parking was tight. Room was nice, but after I was given my key I arrived at my room to find the door propped open by the lock and the light on. I figured someone already had the room. I guess it was just like that because a staff person went back and no one was already there. Very weird.
This place was great. Room was a small studio with a small kitchen, 2 full beds and a pull out sofa. Good location with quick access to highway. Would highly recommend.
Very good ambience and genuine dishes for breakfast
Staffs are very kind. Rooms are clean and quiet. The location is convenient because there are stores within walking distance.
Good place to stay if you don't mind walking to the plaza next door which has a delicious Thai restaurant Elephant Jumps, Jasmine Garden Chinese Gourmet with reasonably priced drinks such as Mai Tais zombies and volcanoes. And an Aldi grocery store. Plus a CVS, Bank of America, and Five Guys. Across the street from that is Sweetwater Tavern & Brew Pub where are you can buy Growlers of fresh beer. You can't beat the selection. So, you don't really need a cab to enjoy yourself. Save money, take an evening stroll and enjoy yourself.
Nice clean. Great service friendly staff.. no 5 star cause I didn't get to stay overnight to exp. The entire feel of the hotel.
This place was very relaxing and everything was good. The food was good too.
I usually love Residence Inn, but very bad experience here.
The dark-haired lady at the check-in must have had a bad day when we arrived, offering no additional information, no welcome as a longtime Marriott member, etc.
Arriving in our first room, it smelled awful like cigarettes. An air purifying machine was put in the center of the room, so it must have been known. When we came back to the receptionist, she responded annoyed, offering no apology etc.
The room itself was very minimal. The absolute minimum to be able to cram in the kitchenette, bathroom, bed, etc. The room cleaning crew had forgotten to leave a brush to clean dishes, so we had to go to the front desk to get one. I also hate the bathroom. I don t care one bit it s old, but there is no way waking up the apartment if you have to use the restroom during the night. The door didn t fit in the frame so would make a noise, and flushing the toilet would probably even wake people in the next apartment. They would not offer coffee during breakfast, and also only left only 2 coffee packets in the room.
The main hallway wasn t vacuumed. It was dirty when we arrived, and the same leaves were still on the carpet when we left 4 nights later.
Finally, I use to stay with Marriott for 100+ nights per year. With such low occupancy, I guess I don t understand why an upgrade wasn t offered.
The one consolation was Courtney (I think) at the reception desk. She was super nice and helpful later on.
It is flexible to manage and cook your own meal in the kitchenette
Staying in a 1 bedroom suite and it's pretty large. The full kitchenette was a good touch. Service is good and they even did our dishes while we were out. Only complaint is there is construction on the floor below and it continued til 10PM on a Wednesday night. Not so late the next night thankfully.
Nice, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price for the area.
Very helpful staff. Rooms are clean and what would be expected from a Marriot property. Good breakfast included. Fitness center leaves something to be desired...
Clean facilities with some great breakfast choices. Very Friendly staff.
Shout out to Kyong for making the dinner socials awesome, and he's always kind and professional. That's hard to keep up in customer service jobs haha. Also a shout out to Rosa, the lady who took care of our room. So sweet! Great service and great selections. And overall great quality and value for your buck at the Residence Inn.
Good staff. Very friendly and helpful. Courtesy van was helpful to get around the immediate location.
The worst room I ever get in all marriot hotels I visited. Furniture are old and coridors are dark with dark carpet and wall papers. Rooms are very small and not organized. It doesn't need renovation only, the hotel needs to rebuild again to match Marriott standards. I really don't recommend it.
Extremely great value. Service was excellent, food was great, rooms were clean and comfortable. Probably the best $100/night hotel I've ever stayed at.
Good location, close to DHHQ. Walking distance to the Mosaic district. Rooms are decent size, bedroom was very small. No hairdryer. Breakfast was okay. Shuttle is convenient!
The staff are always so kind at this location. Very accommodating. Clean. Love staying here.
The inn is a little rundown, there was a old moldy smell in our room and a lot of the furniture plus remotes were sticky
Room was clean and nicely presented, but smaller than most. Staff was very polite.
Very nice rooms, close proximity to many stores, quick work from the employees
Friendly staff, clean rooms, conveniently located by the highway, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, 20 mins drive to DC
The room was clean. The food was great. The service was better. A+ Hotel
Very nice, with free parking. Average free breakfast from 7-9 AM
. Rooms are nice with full size refrigerator. Pool, fitness center, sports court. Nice paint job. A knowledgeable and caring front desk. Highly recommend.
Great staff, high quality room, and conveniently located! If I come this way, I will stay again!
It was good! Good amount of space, close to a metro station, reliable customer service
