I went last year and it was amazing. Tried to go back today only to find out that they are no longer open and the store front is now for Dough Mama or something like that. Very upset, this place was bomb.

This place is a wonderful find.. breakfast items were filled full.. the sweet kolaches were less filled but very delicious non the less. The dough was light and buttery worth it to make the trip.

This place is Grandma Good. I have fond memories of eating fresh kolaches made by Czech grandmothers in Snook when I was at Texas A&M. And then there was the Kolache Festival in Caldwell.... I have never had as good a kolache since then till I found this place.

So i work very close to here, and was so tired of wendys and other "quick food" for lunch. I went here for the first time and i would recommend it to anyone. the breakfast, lunch and desert Kolaches are all awesome. (couldnt help trying all three ) . and good coffee too. I think the owner said they serve cafe brio java.

I've eaten here four times over the last 18 months. I really liked it the first time but less since then. I think it's overpriced for what's being offered. The sweet kolaches are small with skimpy fillings and the savory one's are ok but not something, I crave. Overall, I recommend anyone to try it once but it's not something I plan to keep coming back to. It might be your thing, it's just not mine.

SO SO great! Not only is it like a miracle to find kolaches outside of Texas, but they're amazingly delish too... Like on par, if not better, than those of the lone star state! Fun environment and kind people, too. Can't wait to go back for more!!

This place is ridiculously awesome and everything is great. Feel free to go hard and order an extra or two, just to try a variety. Don t overlook the iced coffee, either. It s rocket fuel in the most delicious way possible.

There are a fewvtanles socially distanced. The staff wear appropriate gear. There is a shield between staff and customer. Customers need to limit the number entering at one time

Strong coffee, delicious housemade Kolache's, especially considering I had no idea what a kolache was before I had one here. Staff was very friendly and helpful regarding information about the food.

Didn't have time for an extended breakfast, and options for quick in German Village are extremely limited. Luckily for me, I stumbled in the door at Kolache Republic. The service was fast, affordable, and most importantly, the breakfast kolache I received was delicious. The guy working there was so nice that he even threw in a blueberry sweet cheese kolache on the house, which was also incredible. Safe to say I'll be keeping an extra five minutes in the morning to frequent Kolache Republic!

I was so excited to find a place that sold kolaches in Columbus after falling in love with them on a trip to Texas. The amazing assorted varieties sold here, made fresh every morning, bring me back every time I step inside. With a cozy indoor seating area, the place is a local gem that cranks out delicious seasonal kolaches (I'd fight someone for the lemon poppyseed) and mouth watering classics, like my all time favorite egg, chorizo, cheese and jalapeno.
Yes yes yes. Take a morning and check it out.

A unique breakfast joint, serving kielbasa inside home made sweet bread. Don't forget to ask for the garlic dipping sauce. Their pastries are delicious and everything is decently priced.

Friendly service, great kolaches and coffee!

I came here on a Monday morning and they had a nice selection of baked fresh kolaches. I had the sausage egg and cheese and also a blueberry sweet cream. These kolaches are perfect. Sometimes people make them way too dense but these were just right. Don t miss this place.

And the coffee is smooth! Not charred like some places!

Awesome local cafe with amazing kolache. They bake them with traditional fillings, as well as new creations. A variety of other tasty breakfast treats are on offer too! Staff is super nice.

Came in looking for espresso. But the coffee was really good. The star of the show, though, are the kolaches. Almost every kind imaginable, including pistachio! I got a cheese (as in cheesecake) and a peach cobbler. Great bread - and delicious filling! Plus, when I was there, Kolache Republic was selling them for $1 apiece - until noon! I just wish I would have bought a dozen pr so to share!

Always a great experience. First class service and first class food. Last time in, they even included a complimentary cinnamon roll for our son due in 2 weeks. 10/10 stars, would recommend to anyone.

Stopped in on a whim for a cheese sandwich. Not on the menu.

No Problem!

This is a Czech bakery-Texan sentiment cafe assimilation.

Made-to-order Mmmmmmm!

Had a perfect lunch to go - thick slices of slightly warm Swiss on a delicious, homemade white bun, mayo - $3.00!

Perfect for a wet, windy Spring day!

(They offer hot soups, too!)

Thanks, Kolache!

Super friendly, great service. Delicious kolaches, with some very unique flavors. My grandmother and mom always made kolaches at the holidays but almost exclusively apricot, sometimes raspberry. Can't bring myself to say they're better than mom's, but boy are they good.

Fantastic place to grab good fresh baked items, both sweet and savory! I adore the Kolache's with cheese and kielbasa and it can be finished off with a blueberry creme cheese danish/kolache item that's to die for. I recommend the iced coffee for a good drink!

Breakfast here is great! Jalapeno Kielbasa Kolache always hits the spot. The sweet ones are great. Lunch special can be hit/miss -- the pork belly was underwhelming but their Beirock is solid.
