Residence Inn by Marriott New Rochelle, NY Review

I ve been in this hotel for about two and a half weeks and the price was around $3500 for all that, but this hotel put an authorization hold in amount of $8000 that I still can t get back. Don t use your cards and don t stay in this hotel.

Best stay ever! The staff was so nice and accommodating .

We stayed in there 1bdrm suite and it was adequate. The room was very cold and we had request someone come up and adjust thermostat for us. Otherwise the service and complimentary breakfast were good.

The friendliest staff ever! This Marriott is a great location as well, with plenty to do around the area. Restaurants, a movie theater, a fun-zone for kids, gyms, you name it- it's nearby. Plus the rooms are always clean and spacious. A great deal for your travels. Plus, it allows pets for a nominal pet fee. :)

The rooms were neat and clean. The food was great, and the service was relatively fast paced

This hotel has no good customer service skills at all. They are training the new people the wrong way. The front desk manager Joey is very unprofessional and so is the director Tanya. I called corporate on the hotel and received a response back from Joey I will be sure to call back again this week and I will get someone over all Management be cause this issue needs to be addressed. The power went out during our stay and we received no compensation we also booked a one bedroom suite and was given a studio which didnt fit my family at all upon asking for the upgrade because my reservations was for a bigger room I was told by Joey that they didnt have adequate staff to clean the room I was already in and he offered a roll off bed which is not allowed in studios because it's a fire hazard, but to inconvenience us he'd rather take the risk. After that my aunt check in and was offered a free upgrade we still was in the studio for the remainder of our stay.

My Experience at this Hotel was splendid, As soon as I arrived with my family we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and concierge (Joey and Ahsinet). It was a pleasurable stay, Ahsinet and Joey made sure to accommodate my family to the maximum of there ability and there efforts are truly APPRECIATED !!

Wont let me make a one night reservation on May 13th so that I can attend my friends wedding but I am able to make a two night reservation checking in on the say day.

I love this unique boutique hotel just 1/4 block from New Rochelle. A very warm warm welcoming entrance and staff. It's small, but so cute. Felt like London or Paris. The location can't be beat near transportation, shopping and restaurants. My room was lovely on 6th floor in the back. Very clean, updated and comfortable. The shower so wonderful; didn't want to get out! They have complimentary bottled water in the room and on the 3rd floor a 7x filtered watered system to refill. And nice toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with everything so fresh including Peet's coffee. Bagels and cream cheese, fresh fruit salad, yogurt parfaits, hard boiled eggs, breakfast cold cuts and much more. Staff is excellent and so helpful and they remember you. Very professional l. I highly recommend!

Great rooms and the staff are so very nice and friendly and helpful and the rooms are super clean. The morning breakfast is served nice and hot and very tasty.

Stayed here a total of 10 days over two trips for work in the area. Was pleasantly surprised that rooms are large and very comfortable and the staff very friendly.Highly recommended!!!

Cheap parking garage was unexpected and appreciated

The Residence Inn was an absolutely fantastic experience. The breakfast buffet, of paramount importance to any stay, was exquisite; service friendly; pillows plush; showers soothing. Would absolutely stay again.

Spacious Suites with a Full Kitchen, California King Beds, a pull out couch.

Friendly and professional staff.

Continental Breakfast for now due to COVID19, a beautiful lobby with a fireplace, seating, and a business center.

If you're looking for a place to spread out, relax, cook a nice meal, and enjoy the beautiful suites this is the place to stay.

Located by the White Plains Metro North Train Station, The Westchester County Bus Terminal (walking distance).

Close to shopping and lots of great restaurants.

The Aberdeen Chinese Restaurant located in the hotel lobby is delicious!

By far best hotel I've ever stayed in. Excellent rooms; like small 1 bedroom with 2 televisions. Will look for Resident Inn hotels first when looking for hotels from now on. Helpful staff, great coffee

Second visit in the last 12 months.
Relatively new hotel.
Clean room and facilities.
Good free breakfast in top floor dining area, which has great views of Long Island Sound.
Decent location in New Roc City area.
Shopping and restaurants nearby.
However, streets outside entrance can get a little rowdy late on weekend nights.
If you walk more than a couple of blocks south (past the library) the neighborhood becomes significantly sketchy.
Don't wander too far at night.

My bf surprised me with a night away from the city and this hotel was perfect. We stayed in the sixth floor. Very quiet. Breakfast was good especially the breakfast staff were very nice and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. Definitely would stay here again

Lots and lots of flies. Never greeted once while entering or leaving. The door between rooms wasn't even close to sound proof because I could hear my neighbor watching tv to the point I could hear entire words intelligibly. The hallway smelled overwhelmingly of urine. We weren't given a do not disturb tag for our door. House keeping wouldn't leave us alone. Dog barking woke us up in the early morning. And to top it off, carpet cleaners insisted that they enter the room. Oh and also a full cracker was laying on the carpet.

Decent hotel. I've stayed here before. It's nothing special, but it does give you close access to downtown New Rochelle.

This was a great location and all of the staff that I interacted with were very pleasant. There were a few places to eat within walking distance and I never felt unsafe checking them out. It was also only about a30 minute drive from LaGuardia. I would return if work had me in the area again.

Hotel location is great. The facility is old and showing its age. For the price, the rooms and common areas are in need of an update. Staff has been excellent.

The atmosphere is beautiful, love the ambiance. Staff was professional and polite.

The front desk and hotel staff are always so kind, accommodating and attentive, every time I ve stayed here. The rooms are very spacious and always clean, and with the kitchenette, exercise room, and pool with grill area, combined with the customer service, it really feels like a temporary home to me. This is also a great place for large groups-- there is a lovely large space on the top floor where a free breakfast buffet is served every morning (which is delicious by the way!), and there are multiple conference rooms/ event spaces available, and the staff was super accommodating to us, which allowed us to custom the room to our individual needs. There is also an entertainment/ shopping center right next to the hotel, which makes it great for families and kids. Would highly recommend!

I m very disappointed with my stay. I am traveling on business and was looking for a quiet comfortable stay. Little did I know this place is pet friendly and that means the dog in the room next to you can bark continuously and no amount of complaining to the staff will stop it. This is not a cheap place to stay. In fact, I m spending over $200 to sleep in this kennel . If you have a barking dog, this is the place to stay. If you don t have an animal, you should look elsewhere. This is the last night I spend here.

This place has exceeded my expectations. I have been pleased with all facets of service, everyone from the front desk staff to housekeeping have been incredibly helpful and friendly.

I asked for two blankets and they gave me two pillows. I asked for a blanket and a pillow, and they gave me only the blanket.

Wasn't a terrible experience, but wasn't mind blowing. The service was decent, and the rooms were spacious. There is definitely room for renovation, the water stopped working at some point during our stay for a while, although it seems to have resolved within a few hours.

Here s a tip for you. We have stayed several times this n this hotel visiting our Iona college daughter. We have found the quietest rooms to be 35 or 37 on either floor. These are one bedroom kitchenette type rooms.

Other positives. Off street garage type parking is free. Coffee is good and showers are hot, linens and towels are nice.

The room was nice but there was no hot water in the morning when I had to leave. I called and they were aware of the issue. Nothing else offered. Leaving without a shower.

Dirty towels. Room smelled of urine. Shower head leaked. They changed my room when I complained so that was nice.
