Great spot. The views are nice and food is good. Service was good also.
Great spot. The views are nice and food is good. Service was good also.
In few words: bad, dirty, unprofessional
In more words:
mold in the bathroom
shower head felt like it was going to break
bed cover was stained
customer service less than friendly
bad quality breakfast food
The worse is that the staff is not helpful at all. Since we wanted to go to Washington for few days, we asked if we could store our 5 bags overnight .the front desk answered no and they refused to help us finding a luggage storage facility. When we finally found cbh storage we were disappointed to learn that Krystal Huang ( the lady we spoke to when we checked out) knows that there is a storage facility that can pick up their guests bags for free but for unfathomable reasons doesnt want to share the info with the guests! why?
To conclude, we wont be goig back there
Beautiful hotel friendly staff good food. Minor inconvenience checking in and out. Elevators were broken
The service and room was outstanding. I love coming here with my girlfriend. The location is also great! Rockefeller center is just a couple minutes walk.
Very nice hotel. Close to everything in midtown. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly staff.
I didn't stay at the hotel but ate at Bistayne restaurant. It was great.
Top floor bar.
Top atmosphere and service!
Very nice hotel.
We got a family suite which was very big.
Staff are friendly.
Location is great
I stayed at the kimberly for the first time on saturday! my father is ralph the doorman there. i love the kimberly!! the beds were the most comfortable beds i ve ever slept in. all the staff is the best. i stayed on the 26th floor with an amazing view!! i cant wait to go back i love it so much.
Upstairs (the rooftop restaurant and bar) is beautiful and has a fantastic view of the Chrysler Building. The service was fantastic and the drinks perfectly mixed.
I went here for a company gathering which was held on the top floor. Great service ! A variety of wine and champagne options.
I visited a family member who stayed there, so I can only talk about what I saw. The room was very spacious and well decorated, clean, and very nice. The staff was very nice.
Attentive service. Quick elevators. Great breakfast.
The only place I stay while in New York. We established, close enough to anything you want to see and do in Manhattan. I feel safe and comfortable, the rooms aren't your typical New York so small you can barely turn around, they are spacious. The attached restaurants have some of the best food in town and roof top breakfast, restaurant and bar are a highlight. No real need to leave.
I have stayed here a few times while on business in New York City. The rooms are lovely as they are former Apartments. They are well-appointed and often have kitchen areas. This makes it ideal if you want to stay in your room and work and make coffee or inside. Linens are lovely as well as all of the other accoutrement in the room. When I was there last, there was construction on going across the street which resulted in a fair amount of noise. I understand that this construction will result in an obstruction of their view from the rooftop bar of downtown. All in all I would consider this one of my regular places to stay in New York City
A great rooftop bar, but be prepared to pay rooftop prices for drinks. A note to anyone getting the premium open bar package, in still doesn't include much of a selection. I asked for a glass of High West best, and they asked for my credit card. I'd hate to see what they're cheaper packages are limited to.
A beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Manhattan .. I personally met the concept of comfortable bed, which is the most important thing in his travels like me, in the beds of this hotel. Located in the heart of the city center, kimberly is in a very convenient location in terms of transportation to everywhere.
If I go again, I would prefer the kimberly hotel again.
Wonderful place. We were well pampered and prices were great. Love it
Great place, great service. Actually, too good at times.
Great food and wine but the most outstanding feature is the view - there is nothing else to say.
I was alone in a room and the lamp exploded, the water turned on by itself, and a chair moved by itself. It s like haunted !!
A nice hotel with good quality in the rooms and service, extremely good and suitable meals. If you can afford to stay here I strongly recommend it!
The roof top lounge is a great place to hang in...great crowd and nice food/drink options.
I stayed here a while ago, but remember it well because I got very bad rashes all over my body after staying here. Not sure if it is their linen.. I have no idea how else I would have gotten so many hives, other than this hotel. I had to take allergy medicine for a few days after to help with all the itching.
Great Experience. The Clerks gave my Brother a room upgrade when he told them he was getting married. The breakfast was great ,The rooms were clean and very spacious and the hallways were very quiet. The staff was very friendly and I 100% reccomend this hotel.
Attended client .meeting. nice meeting space. Friendly staff
The room is larger and nicer than expected. Full sized one bedroom suite, decent kitchenette, strong AC. Lacking in shower pressure and free Wi-Fi. There is some noise at night due to construction and whatnot.
Good midtown hotel for moderate price. nice brunch on the rooftop!
Great staff. Good location in respects to my business trip location. I had to check out early, so the front desk checked me out early with my belongings still being in my room. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone passing through NYC!
Love this hotel!! They went above and beyond to make this birthday weekend extra special!! Will definitely recommend and stay here again!
Classic New York hotel, top notch service and the bathrobes are comfy. Great hotel would definitely recommend.
This man s smile and charisma made my morning and afternoon walk everyday while we stayed in NYC. Great doorman experience, Gregory is the epitome of class. He always has a smile for passers by and guests. Really appreciate meeting quality people like this. #i nyc and Gregory you are truly an asset to the Kimberley Hotel. I wish you were apart of my day everyday! You make my heart smile!
We had a suite on the 28th floor. Very comfortable and well designed, with 2 bathrooms, living room with pullout bed which was actually comfortable, small kitchen and a dining area, and large windows throughout. Very nice!
We booked a luxury suite. Beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Won't stay anywhere else while in NYC. Great location.
Our stay at The Kimberly has been great. Very clean, great staff, and fairly priced considering the location.
3 nights ago me and my wife visit this place. We decided to have diner on rooftop building. Wine was excellent , food amazing, and cocktails was relly good.but best part was Menager Zoran who give as amazing service. Me and my wife feel sow special thank you Zoran , definitely we are coming back
Top quality hotel, bit decor feels old school luxury
I didn't stay at the hotel but had drinks with a friend in the rooftop bar. It was ok but nothing to write home about.
Location is awesome room was always kept clean and the staff is super friendly
Food was great, DJ really killed it. Had a fun time.
'Upstairs' is the place to chill for happy hour. Finger foods piping hot and great service!
Getting Wifi is a nightmare. wifi never worked properly in my room and no one could resolve this issue even though I raised it several times for a month.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks at the restaurant upstairs are very good. There is even a nice view. They also have a fish tank in the lobby big enough for at least one (very tiny) shark.
While I may not have been looking for a ritzy, glamorous hotel in Midtown, the Kimberly fits that bill. The staff is friendly and helpful and the view of the Chrysler Building from the upstairs Lounge is amazing.
It's always a pleasure to stay at The Kimberly. It's more than just a great location. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional. You feel like the most important guest every time.
I went here for a company gathering which was held on the top floor. Great service ! A variety of wine and champagne options.
Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel is a fine, upscale experience. Would highly recommend the outdoor space, which has space heaters and is open in the winter months.
Leaves a lot to be desired. It is a nice place, with arge rooms and very nice beds. However, this is NOT the place to be if you plan on sleeping in. The windows are very very thin and the noise is ridiculous. Especially right now, Aug 2019, because the hotel across the street is being remodeled and the construction noise is too much for anyone to sleep through. It has a canyon effect (noise and echoes are amplified with all the tall buildings), so even without the construction, the street traffic and deliveries will not let you sleep in.
The rooms themselves are dated, although it was nice to have a kitchenette. The lights are very dim, there are dimmers that do not work (only on and off), and the light switches turn on only certain lamps, you have to turn on the others manually.
They offer wifi, but you have to pay. Really, for the price you are paying you can at least provide the wifi!
The bedroom has a lock on the door handle, but it does not work, so not much privacy when you have kids in the other room using the pullout. A. Big plus for the pullout bed. It was huge and the mattress was very very nice, something not expected for a pull-out.
The AC units do a great job in each room, but they are very loud.
My son and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The Lexington Marco Hotel in LaGuardia exceeded our expectations. We got a free upgrade to enjoy the greatest level of kindness and consider our entire stay. The front desk staff are very friendly, and I will be lost in New York if not because of Severkeley, the concierge, he gives us guidance on how to get to some of Manhattan's attractions. We ate twice in the restaurant, twice, and the food was delicious. It's all homemade fresh Italian food. Fabio gave us the best service and attention to customers in the restaurant. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The subway is very convenient and there are many shops nearby. We will still be in New York when we stay at this hotel. thank you so much.
Room had bed bugs. Reported it to hotel and they took almost 10 hours to even inquire about it. Would not recommend and would never stay here again.
Wonderful cocktails at dizzy heights. No roof with best view over NYC.
Our family stayed at the Kimberly December 2015. The Kimberly is located on the east side -- which we loved. Close to subway access, restaurants, and minutes walk from Grand Central/Times Square/Broadway, etc. We had a one bedroom suite which was equivalent to a one bedroom apartment. If you have a family you will definitely want to stay here. We felt safe and had plenty of space. No room is wasted in a spectacular hotel lobby entrance -- the space is added to the room size. I believe our room/suite was over 700 square feet and had a balcony. The hotel staff were all very kind and gracious to us, the furniture and bedding was luxurious. We are already planning our next trip to NYC at the Kimberly.
Location is perfect for business or a good weekend out on the town. The staff was extremely friendly. I lived there for 2 months and never once had an issue with the quality of service I recieved. I really enjoyed the boutique feel which provides an authentic NYC experience
Best bang for your buck on the east side. Hands down. Great suites, helpful staff, convenient location. Will always stay there!!
Great hotel, service top of the line ! I'd come back.
What a charming property! Wonderful staff, spacious rooms, great location. A New York classic with personality, not a cookie-cutter hotel. The Kimberly feels like a residence away from home.
Fantastic; great breakfast on PH; polite people in hotel; everything is so clean; nice fitness
Great hotel centrally located in midtown.
The decor is a little tired but the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable.
The staff is friendly
great! !!!! helpful staff, clean room and sensational location!
it was nice. I didn't stay there I went with family who was staying there
Excellent customer service. I Will recommend this Hotel to Everyone
I guess this is our favorite hotel in Manhattan. We stayed at a different hotel last time to save a little money and it was a dive. So while there are many to pick from I think we will continue staying here every time we go back. The only thing that kinda stinks is the view. But I don't really want to pay extra for a view. Great breakfast right next door, convenient to subway, 10 minute-ish walk to times square.
The staff is amazing! Super friendly. Yje rooms are very nice, as well.
This is a spectacular property. My suite was amazing, and the rooftop bar and restaurant is a must-visit!
