I m very happy we stayed at the residence inn. The staff was warm and welcoming, and our room was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Great water pressure, and I m not complaining about having 2 TV s! I loved the shower mounted hair products in the shower as well. Ample parking and nice outdoor amenities on top of all that made this stay great! Highly recommend. Thanks!

This Residence Inn badly needs to be updated. Front desk staff not up to par with Residence Inn standards. Furniture was dirty and the room and most of the building smelled like India. I have been to older Residence Inns before and other than updating were fine... this one was just unimpressive. Consider other accommodations in this area.
Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Dog-Friendly! (*$100 Dog Fee). Restaurants within a couple blocks. Solid value. Ive found my new stop on my 12 hour drives
The number listed in this AD posting is not for the Marriot Residence Inn Cheektowaga it is actually the number for a booking agency which promptly charges your credit card from the time you book the reservation and collects the interest earned on money's they have charged. They have high jacked the hotel web page and have put their number in so if you ever have to cancel the reservation you will get the run around from the hotel saying that it was made through Expedia??? they will give you a number to call Expedia but they are also being used as the fall guy. The only way to get a refund or have it canceled is to call the number on the web site listing and hope you get the charge reversed.
Please shut this site down GOOGLE I have sent a letter of complaint to Marriot Hotels head office about this sham so as a good corporate citizen I do hope you take this kind of thing seriously.
Very nice rooms, they are right off the 90 AND near the Galleria Mall... Plus sometimes LLOYD'S food truck comes by its delicious!
We recently stayed at the residence inn in bufallo for a gig and I must say this was one of my most pleasant lodging experiences in recent memory. The front desk staff greeted us incredibly warmly and we felt like family. The rooms were emaculate and appeared to have been recently remodeled. Another plus is that access to the interstate was convenient and there was plenty of places in the area to eat. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to buffalo.
Great location all around! Right off of the interstate and just a short trip across town to the Anchor Bar home of the Buffalo Wing! Lots of food options around the restaurant both quick stops and full service. The hotel is also conveniently located less than an hour to the Canadian border and also a reasonable distance to the beautiful Niagara Falls. The room was spacious with a standard fridge, large sink, dishwasher, and a cooking range. The bathroom area was great with lots of closet space. There was also a large couch and easy chair as well as a work desk. I had to do laundry on my trip and it was very reasonably priced and cheap! Only 2 dollars to wash which is as cheap at the laundromats in my area. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast before my long drive the next morning with an option of fresh made Belgian waffles! If I am up in the area I will certainly look to stay here again!
The hotel has proximity to shops, target store, and outlet malls. 10min drive from downtown and nearest Amtrak station and on the intersection of freeway. A great stay with good service apartments and wholesome breakfast
The hotel is really nice, I checked in in the late night but the lady on reception was very helpful, she did it quickly. Indoor swimming pool for adults and kids is really good thing about the hotel. Breakfast is okay but evening drinks for first 3 days of the week are exceptional. Location of hotel is great, groceries, Mac D, Chipotle is on walking distance. We enjoyed our 2 weeks stay there.
Had room on 1st floor by basketball court, way too loud
This is one of the most comfortable hotel I've been in. Comes with a nice little kitchen, comfortable bed, 2 tv's and etc. I wouldn't mind coming back for another stay. Trust me, you will not regret. Plus, owner is pretty cool.
Had the pleasure of staying at this location a few weeks ago. We were in town for a football tournament and used this as a base for our entire team. Staff went above and beyond to make the stay a true home away from home experience,even to the point of the receptionist (Jim) putting on a magic show for the kids ,absolutely brilliant. Also spoke with one of the managers who happened to have grown up in buffalo and provided great info on things to see and do.
Is there things that could be improved, yes,but outside of replacing the furniture and carpet every month or so, you just will never please everyone.our 2 bed suit was clean and well appointed ,and was kept so for the duration of our stay by a more than capable housekeeping staff.
I think perhaps some of the negative comments about the conditions of the hotel possibly come from guests not realizing it's also a long stay facility and some guests do prepare meals IN their rooms.if you're looking for a 5 star midtown Manhattan type Marriott this will not please you, but if you want a clean, friendly ,centrally located hotel to stay it's a great choice.

this room was nice, was not expecting a stove fridge and full kitchen. I couldve lived here for months but was only in town for a night. highly recommend this hotel if in the area for short or long periods of time

I can't reccommend this hotel enough. After a long day of traveling, the Residence Inn provided efficient and welcoming customer service. The continental breakfast was great and included a variety of coffees, waffles and juices. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were extra large and comfortable. The lobby and overall decor was very modern and slick as well. Definitely stay at this establishment if you're in Buffalo!
Excellent service, great confor rooms, comfortable, and the best new because the hotel went through a restoration process in its entirety is new everything inside enjoy a lot and I felt very comfortable.
Nice place to spend time.. Rooms are neat n clean only problem with sofa in living room that is quite old and need replacement!!
Service was just terrible during check in. Lack of attention and not at the Marriott level I'm used to. Very aggressive dog was in hotel hallway, carpet in room very dated. Sofa was also less than appealing with stains. Lots of other hotels in same bloc, will certain skip this property on future trips to this area.
I love the area and the hotel but I ve had two bad experiences there. I m in the middle of being intimacy with my husband and housekeeper walks in thee most embarrassing moment of my life. The GM was wonderful about giving me my money back but that doesn t help. It s not about the money trust me I m always in Buffalo so I would ve rather he did more then just gave me my money back
Location is great as it is close to the airport, Galleria Mall, and other local shops and restaurants. Rooms are up to date and comfortable. Provided breakfast is OK, for free.
The Residence Inn Buffalo Galleria Mall is a great place to stay for work or leisure! I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days while I was in Buffalo for work, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The suite I stayed in was spacious, with both living and sleeping areas, two TVS, a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and lots of dishes and pans for cooking. The bathrooms are large, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are well lit. Everything looks recently updated. There is also a great workout area, a pool area, and a hot tub, which I enjoyed visiting after a long day. Breakfast was also great, with lots of options like waffles, eggs, breakfast sausage, and good coffee which is available in the lobby throughout the day! The mall is just a short ten minute walk away, and there are lots of dining options in the area as well. The customer service was also superb. Would definitely stay here again!
As a traveling standup comedian, I stay in a lot of hotels. The good, the bad, and the very ugly. The Residence Inn Buffalo Galleria Mall supersedes any of the 'good' hotels I've ever stayed in. It was a treat staying here while I was traveling to Canada for the Toronto SheDot comedy festival. This hotel is only minutes from Niagara Falls and easy access to I-90. I had the pleasure of staying two nights and felt like a VIP all the way! This hotel has all suites! My one bedroom suite had a nice fireplace, an incredibly comfortable bed, full kitchen, flat screen TV with premium channels, and a nice desk and separate seating area where I got some work done.One of the very cool things that this hotel does are evening socials! There is a very cool hang out area to socialize and they have something called The Mix three nights a week! They even have this awesome SportCourt! Other amenities are the free breakfast, ample free parking, free WiFi, and airport shuttle. There is a great indoor pool open until midnight and fitness center open 24-hours! I appreciated the night staff. I had a long drive and had to check-in very late (early morning!) and the staff was friendly and accommodating to all my needs. The Residence Inn Buffalo Galleria Mall is definitely a premier Marriott property, and a luxury if you have a long stay in the area. I would live here if they let me.

Just stayed here while the hotel is undergoing renovations. On a cold, rainy night I was greeted by the friendliest staff member, (Hi Jim!). I was in one of the new suites, with a kitchenette. Perfect for my 4 day business stay. Hot breakfast in the morning, and can heat something up at night when I get home. Despite the ongoing renovation (it's going to look great when it's done!) my room was very clean and welcoming. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I could park close to the front door, which I appreciated late at night. In your free time, downtown Buffalo is about 10 minutes away, the Galleria Mall is 2 minutes away and Niagara Falls is easy to get to. Marriott does a great job, the fact that they're updating this one speaks to their keeping their properties snappy. I've stayed in them all over the world and have had only good experiences.
We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is in close proximity to tons of restaurants and mall. All of the staff we came in contact with were very nice and accomadating. The rooms are nice, spacious, clean and updated. Only thing that needs work is the pool area. There were small ants on the floor near some of the chairs, the pool couldve been a little cleaner and there is no jacuzzi. Outside of that everything was very nice and we would stay here again.
What a place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed at the Residence Inn. The front desk clerks offered big smiles and great information on the local history. Did you know Buffalo is also known as "The City of No Illusions"?
About the room- what a room! Very spacious and inviting. I loved the modern decor and layout of the living space, as well as the clean and sleek kitchen. Great lighting and water pressure in the bathroom and a big comfy bed with a big screen TV in the bedroom. I slept great. This is by far the best long stay hotel I ve experienced. They had tons of amenities including popcorn, a clean & nice coffee maker, and a flat screen TV that could easily swivel that had easy access to my favorite streaming services like Netflix.
I woke up refreshed and ready for a big complimentary breakfast. I was not disappointed! Oatmeal, eggs, sausages, juices and muffins - all for me! The common area and breakfast lounge was just as inviting as the room. Same with the other interesting guests and employees. I met a famous band from Pittsburgh, and got some more insights on Buffalo.
Overall, what an experience! No Illusions here - this is the place to stay when you're in Buffalo!

This is a really nice hotel, everything about it is nice: the staff, the rooms, the area, etc. I don't think we've ever had a bad stay there!
Not very consisten with the others i have been to. Others do full meals mon to wed this one does not. Their housekeeping is not very consistent. Woul not recommend.
We rented a room for our parents for their anniversary here. They said they enjoyed their stay. Victoria, at the front desk, was so pleasant! She made the whole process easy & had the gifts for our parents brought up to their room!
The breakfast girl very nice and very professional ted that's for you attention the overnight staff he tell me to heat my coffee in my room and no more coffe on the coffe pot i don't considerate very professional and no coffee was made for me besides that everything was very nice thank you .
Stayed there with my band a few days ago. Extremely friendly and efficient staff made it quick and painless to check in. Spacious and clean rooms. Free Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast. Separate rooms with kitchen and pull out. Would recommend to families, business and touring musicians!
Ok hotel. Typical extended stay, somewhat run down, no dish soap or dishwasher detergent in the room. Hair in the shower, not too bad, not too good. Average at best.

nice hotel...standard RI which is to say rooms were comfortable and clean and bfast was good. This one also allows you to use a local gym for free which is a real plus if you want more than the standard hotel gym.

Just FABOULOUS!!! Workers are attentive, helpful and most of all pleasant. Room is a suite. Most beds are soft wherever I stay since I travel often. I will give the Residence Inn a 8 1/2.
The rooms are spacious and clean - it was great for 4 adults. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchenette and living room along with 3 TVs. The welcome and check in at the desk was friendly. A gentleman with grey hair checked us in and made a positive impression. He was cheerful, and could tell he cared about his job but wasn't a cookie cutter front desk personality. There is a pool, fitness center and basketball court. The grounds are nicely kept and there is a nice outdoor area if you don't want to be cooped up in your room. Breakfast was included but I woke up late and opted for coffee. All in all a great day and a great night sleep! Its a great choice if you are visiting or passing through Buffalo!

I stay in a Marriott property on average every other week. This is the most unclean one that I have stayed in. I have been in three rooms there and I have found food, wrappers, dental flossers, hair clips and (in my opinion) an excessive amount of dust around the night stands and bed. My last stay I actually found animal droppings under the sheets, in the middle of my mattress. It's a shame, the staff is very friendly (why I gave them 2 stars), however I have never met with the manager. The manager did email me though, to apologize for my dirty room. I guess he/she was too busy to do it in person. (I was there for 4 nights)
Room was perfectly serviceable. The pool was only 4 feet deep. The breakfast was only so so.
Nice quite place to stay. Just off the highway. Not too far from the falls. Breakfast is not great, should be improved. There are few fast food options in walkable distance. Little pricey for what it's worth. Room was clean, comfy. We didn't use it, but there is pool and gym if you are interested. Hard to find without a GPS, may be need better signs.
This hotel has gotten even better with some nice furniture and appliance upgrades. Their hotel and amenities are very nice and comfortable. Great location close to a lot of restaurants. The gym and pool are convenient and clean. This is a great place to stay in Buffalo.
Had my son's 13th sleep over birthday party here. Perfect for some pre teens to hang out for a fun time. They loved the pool.

I had the pleasure of staying there on March 16th for one night. The hotel was very nice. I was placed in a new 2 bedroom suite. Meredith at the front desk was awesome. She was very warm and inviting. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone . The beds and showers were amazing!! I loved the layout of the room.
I am a road comic and have stayed at many hotels across the country. I can honestly say that this Residence Inn ranks right up there.
I usually travel alone, but I was able to bring the wife and kids with me for a couple of weekend shows in the Buffalo area. We had a one bedroom suite that was very nice. The room was new and clean. It had a full kitchen with kitchen sink, garbage disposal, countertops, lots of cabinets, a full size dishwasher, dishes, glasses and a full size refrigerator.
There was a living room area with sleeper sofa, chair and desk and a dining table for two. The room had a very nice bedroom with comfortable bed, master bath and 2 tvs.
There was a nice breakfast the next day including a couple of hot items like eggs and sausage. The indoor pool and hot tub made the kids weekend...both of which are very nice. The staff was great and the location is awesome...Target across the street, lots of restaurants and a Starbucks and the Galleria Mall is right up the street. I highly highly recommend this Residence Inn.

Really great hotel with a warm and friendly staff, incredibly clean room, fresh and tasty breakfast bar, comfortable bed - what's not to like. I was just there for a short stay but it has all the amenities you'd need for a longer stay, including a nice-sized kitchen and living room area. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Wonderful service and amenities. Albeit the decor is a bit dated (wooden cabinets, wallpaper washrooms) but I'm not complaining, everything else that actually mattered was superb. It does get a confusing trying to orientate the indoor hallways to where you may have parked, a small map or more direction signs would've be useful. Would definitely book again. SIL took a video tour and as soon as I figure out how, I'll try to post it.

It's always a pleasure staying at this location. There are alot shopping and places to dine near by. The rooms are beginning to get a little dated though. Nevertheless, it is still a nice room.
Love this Hotel. It's close to the Airport and Galleria area. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly, fast and efficient. One of my favorite hotels to stay at in the area.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite during a work trip. Very nice experience having a shared common area with full kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave), breakfast table, couch and lazy-boy style wingchair, plus two non-adjoined bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom.
The hotel staff was extremely accommodating during check-in, and the entire check in process was very quick.
Although we didn't get to use the sport facilities, it was nice to have a pool, hot tub, and basketball court available if we wanted.
Other reviewers mention the decor is a touch dated, which may be true but should hardly be a dealbreaker at a hotel like a Residence Inn. Everything is clean.
The beds were also comfortable, and had four pillows each.
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was like I was at home. The front desk was very helpful in getting in and out around town. Whether it was calling a cab or showing me a bus route they were very informative. My room was really great especially with the bedroom being separate from the kitchen and living room. It snowed most of my trip so I didn't want to get out when I didn't have to and thankfully your in walking distance of several great restaurants. And also a huge mall with any and everything you could need. Would recommend it to anyone!
