U buy a car from this car lot ,which we did in Fed.2019 and we have been going back every since with issues not good.

Purchasing through this business is basically buying a vehicle without inspection, without warranty, and accepting full responsibility if a problem may persist. This establishment focuses on poor credit so there prices can be inflated to make larger profit. If you have over a 600+ fico, even on the lower end, I would try elsewhere just for the security of being offered a warranty they will honor and stand up to. These vehicles are there for a reason, not becuase they were well taken care of. High vehicle payments, and a horrific repair bill will only make your credit worse when you dont make the payment because of frustration or repairs being too high- you cannot pay both. As for the experience, there pleasant until you have a concern to discuss.

Well I was going to go here tomorrow to hopefully purchase a vehicle but since the reviews and rep is so bad I'm not going to waste my time...glad I checked first..

For a second chance in getting a car its a fair place

Mr. Tony is a very honest informative professional salesman. He is extremely patient and knows the business very well. He helped and taught me things I didn't know. Answered all of my questions without hesitation. He returns your calls immediately. I suggest all women go through Tony to purchase your new vehicles because he is a real kind gentleman and won't take advantage of you, like other well known car dealerships.

Why is there so many bad reviews??? Lol my mom must gotten lucky! She got a car there , w literally no issues .... she drove it all the way from Orange County California to Alabama ! It made it w no issues and she s still using it over there ! Her cars pretty legit !

This place is horrible. When i bought the car i had to come back the very next day for them to check why my check engine light was on and the car acted like it did not want to start. I showed up before they opened and they made me wait there literally all day after i had not even been to sleep the night before. None the less i found out i had an oil pan leak on the 08 bmw i had bought from them. I fell behind on payments and just 2 months after they repo d my car. The worst part is the repo letter was addressed to Ariana Grande and that s not my last name, when i called to get some information as to why it had that name on the documents no one ever called me back! They will approve anyone as long as the down payment is what they want. But will pick the car up so fast if u don t make a payment. The company they used to repo the vehicle stole all of my personal belongings and money out the car. Their excuse, it was money all over that car they stole my make up and perfume i had just bought, claim they don t keep any liquids and throw them away. The items were brand new in a gift bag. BE CAREFUL, i would advise to stay away but i understand sometimes u just need a car.

I got a car yesterday but they telling me I can t return the car

I made a payment on April 10th, it wasn't credited to my account. My car was repossessed around May 5th with no explanation. I told them to check the videotape. They said I was there on the 10th, but no money was exchanged. That is B.S. I ended up paying $2300 to get my car back ($500 repo fee and 425 storage plus the money the company said I didn't pay plus my monthly payment. I have 2 and a half years left to pay on this vehicle. Cant wait to be through with this SCAM of a Company. REPOSSESSED AUTO or CAR WORLD SUCKS

I brought a Chevrolet Avalanche in 2006from here with $4000 down the truck was a piece of junk i drove it with my Dodge car keys took it to them they fiixed it but then there was this buzzing sound that I would hear I took it to them and every time they gave it back it would occur again I only had it for 1 month and the kept it more than I did so I eventually asked for my money back in which they did not give me I had just started a new job and had to keep call off to take care of the problem which I took that time &saved it for court cause I couldn't call off any more so I gave the truck back and lost out on $4,000 I wouldn't send my worst enemy to them...This is a sorry excuse of a company cant believe they're still in business

I can't share my experiences because I got scarred to not shop for a car here from the reviews. I feel well informed NOT TO GO HERE based on those reviews. I think the 4/5 star ratings are suspicious as well.

Extremely apprehensive ,but desperate.. so wonder if there's a way they u can guarantee a different experience for the inevitable life mushaps to bolster hope for desperate clients . I had a bad experience with another used car dealership December 2017 due to my brand new Ford flex was GTA on the last day of our move from our home of seven-years it's been the nightmare I had three payments left... unfortunately insurance company was an adversary also waiting for insurance funds it wasn't till Dec,2017 never in my life of a minusculity of nightmares did you feel that things can fall apart so quick. I had to purchase a used car due to personal problems divorced 4 kids credit prob.. what can you offer me?? Just today spoke with someone I've not been there but looking at the reviews and my experience from a local used car dealer 13 Grand down just to have problems w/in a week what can you offer me? They dont care about you. All they care is making money. Low credit gave 394 a month for 42 months and 2500 down for a 82000 miles 2015 yaris? Are you kidding me? Just buy somewhere else

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spoke to 3 different people, the first person I talked to named Cornelius was absolutely no help, he just kept insisting I come down without even verifying if they have the car I want & then got mad at me because his coworker called me & we had a conversation, he called it bad business & told me he could not help me anymore! Someone named Franco called me after Corneliys & he was absolutely no help as well so I decided to call the actual office & they hung up in my face! Please do not buy here, if this is how they acr before I purchase, imagine how they ll act after I purchase.

Took advantage of their trade in car value, Tony from IT didn't respond so I went in person and asked Carlos to help me because we needed a car and he got us the car we wanted, Ricky was my finance guy, quick with the paperwork, explained it, yes the prices are a bit higher but if u don't have good credit, u have to start somewhere. We also got the 2 yr extended warranty to be safe and as of now, all seems good. The reason I gave the 4 stars and not 5 was cuz there was no central air and it was hot and stuffy. Obviously the bigger better dealers that really don't work with bad credit or in house finance, offer cold drinks etc but no biggy. We were in and out within 1 hr and a half. We went a Sunday evening, told us we could go back for them to detail the car since no one was available that day. But we were the ones that didn't want to wait and come back for the car so I feel they were accomadating.

So many terrible reviews and I was pretty wary of buying my first new car from here, but I didn't have millions of options and I didn't want to drive out to the middle of Nowhere, CA. Plus I hate bargaining, but had to do it somewhere.

I'm seconding the review below, and beyond that, it's obvious that any of the five star reviews are fake. One of them even talks about how great of a deal he got.. on clothes... Epic fail, these cheap a.holes even ripped themselves off in getting bad reviews they paid for because who buys clothes from a car dealer?

I purchased a 2008 Honda Accord on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from Repossess Auto Sales located at 11916 Prairie Avenue Hawthorne, CA. 90250; traded my 2004 Mercedes Benz E500 with 138,000 miles along with $1,000.00 cash down payment. All windows were rolled down when I took the car on a test drive but I thought nothing of this since it was a very warm day. I was told by the service person that the car had just completed and passed vehicle inspection but later found the inspection report indicating that only the GPS system had been installed. Completed my test drive and headed to the offices to finalize the transaction since it was nearing the close of business. Personal items were transferred from the old vehicle to the newly purchase vehicle. Before driving off the lot, I noticed the front driver s side window would not roll up, unable to locate the extra key or remote, antifreeze splatter was all over the hood and in the engine area, and the overflow/reserves container was empty. I also noted all the water spots all over the vehicle. I bought the newly discovered issues to the attention of the sales manager Mike who was trying to leave for the day. Mike asked me to bring the car back on Monday, April 13, 2015 and the repairs would be taken care of including the free car wash/detail service since their service department had already closed for the day. I requested the statements to be put in writing and was told Don t worry, we will take care of the problems on Monday

Monday morning I arrive at 8:30 AM only to be told by the service manager - Kevin that all repairs had to be approved and to bring the car back the following day. I advised Kevin that I work Monday Friday and could not afford to take another day off to have the repairs completed. Kevin suggested that I bring the car back on Saturday (April 18, 2015). It s been 4 weeks now, none of the promise repairs have been completed except for the front driver s side window, however, it s not functioning properly. For the past 4 weekends, Repossess Auto Sales staff has been sending me on a wild goose chase, requesting I take the vehicle to another mechanics to have the window issues resolved, to Gardena Honda in Garden, CA. (whom informed me that the window switch was installed incorrectly and to take the car back to who sold you the vehicle and make them install the switch correctly).
Finally, after wasting 6 hours on Saturday May, 9, 2015, driving the vehicle from Repo Auto sales in Hawthorne to Gardena Honda, I was told not only would the window remain as is but the window spots would not be approved because it was my fault for leaving the vehicle in an area where the sprinkler system could wet the vehicle. This is bogus. My car is parked daily in my assigned underground parking structure at my condominium complex and there is not sprinkler system at my place of employment.

I am utterly and completely unsatisfied at the professionalism (or lack thereof) treatment received from both Mike and Kevin, my time has been wasted, I ve been insulted and lied too. Lesson learned! Shady deals, shady staff. Get it in writing before signing on the dotted line.

u guys saying u never seen these many bad reviews lol. try getting alliance united as your insurance company. they suck even wor+se, if thats possible. some companies have no respect and do not give a damn about their customers... only money. they dont get that the money will be there regardless but a little courtesy and politeness goes a long way

Much better than 5 years ago purchased a car years ago and even though I gave it back I was able to get my husband and I a 2015 truck and 16 car for 5000 down the staff was very helpful and worked within our budget. I'd recommend friends and family if your able and both cars came with a 2 year warranty

I'm giving this place one start just because I was approved for financing. We came in with a budget...told the guy our budget in total. We paid and then we get told we have to get insured...which we thought was included in our budget. Ended up paying 500 more just to drive off the lot. This is our first time buying a car...so there's alot that we didn't know. When we got the car they didn't clean it out...the mirror didn't get fixed. We weren't told that we needed to purchase a warranty...so after 30 days we couldn't get the bumper fixed( it was broke when we bought it). Now it's 7 months later and we hear this grinding sound. Come to find out the brakes and rotors are completely worn out. It's going to cost 550.00 to replace front and back. That's not the kind of money we should have to put into a car off the lot. We went to a dealership so that we wouldn't have to deal with these type of problems after dropping 3,000.00 on a car and having car notes. I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership. I didn't know that I needed to bring a mechanic to a dealership. Good luck buying a car from this place. Take your mechanic with you. If they tell you they report your on time payments to the credit bureau...they only do it for the first two months and you'll notice an increase in your credit score only for those two first months. Don't let this place gas you up.

Great expierence here .. all the sales guy will make sure you find the right car that fits you the best and not rush you into a car for the sale good for first time buyers and well just in general , huge company has 4 lots and every car possible you can think of .. ask for guy he will pull the string for you ! This place is what perpetuates the horrible image that used car sales in general, has today. I am disgusted with the fact that one star is the lowest I'm able to rate them, and my suggestion to Google is that if it plans on continuing the inclusion of places like this in it's search results, that it also incorporate a negative value scale in it's star rating system, so I could more accurately convey my dismay toward this business. -5 stars is much more accurate than one star, because I've never given a one star rating to anywhere before, let alone seek legal assistance against a business I've rated. If you're looking to have a disabled loved one gypped of their currently paid off vehicle, and sold a vehicle of less quality for more per month than that loved one is capable of making, but not before 2 pickup payments of more than twice that new payment (two $1,000 payments), then having the new vehicle wrongfully repossessed leaving that loved one with no vehicle at all, then this is the place to go. I urge whomever reads this to understand that time is a factor, and if the aforementioned scenario is one you actively seek, this business won't be open very long to meet your needs of being ripped off in such a devastating manner. They are in the process of being evaluated for substantial litigation to ensure they've ripped off their last disabled mother of two children, as to meet the car buying needs of actual people, should they be fortunate enough to even be given the opportunity to sell a car ever again.

All cars are very much used, up in milage, overpriced, and damaged! Don't go here.

Don't waste your time here all they want is money even thou they advertise even if you dont have money down they will give you 5 months to come up with the down payment lies. You still have to put at least 1,000 to 1,500 for tax and license depending on the car price you are looking at and then on top of that then they will give you time to put money down on the car. Total waste of time and money by the end of it all you are going to have to put alot of money down on a car that you are financing around 10,000 to 14,000 and your are going to have a high interest rate so that means high payment and on top of that the cars that they have are junk and have alot of miles. So that means if you ever want to try and refinance its not going to happen because the car they sold you to begin with was never worth that amount and depreciation is another factor and the high interest rate. So you are stuck with a car that is worth alot less then your loan meaning you are upside down. So I am warning you take your business elsewhere. All they want is your money.

Getto place do not buy i had a bad experience had to get my money back

I bought a car from this place in december 2009. A 2005 hyunda elantra. Me and my ex husband paid $400 a month for the car note on time each month for over a year. So at 2 am in the morning over a year later they come and repossess the car saying that we missed a payment a year ago in april of 2011. I was so mad because of all the money we paid for the downpayment to top it off the $400 a month. We then went to repossess later that morning to show the manager all our receipts for each payment and they still told us we had to pay the repossessing fee along with the payment that they claim we missed. How did we miss a payment when we had all our receipts and we never missed a payment. These people are deceitful and are liars. I would never ever ever recommend anyone here and I will never buy a car from here ever again.

Dont go there thinking any of the inventory from the website actually exist on the lot. Waste of a 60 min drive!

This car dealership is all about money they lie on the phone and said I can put down $3,000 for the car I wanted and when I got their they wanted to sell me a older model car for my $3,000 and they are soo rude and very unprofessional I would never recommend no one to go to this lot!

Even though all 4 cars had been sold by the time I got there, I liked my choice. I liked my salesman Franco and Lima. It took a while,but I think have a great car.

I took it back 7/4/2018 they told me to bring it in the next day so they could wash it, then i told them all of my oil and antifreeze is gone they brough my car back to me and didnt do nothing i told them my car is not washed and my antifreeze is still gone. So they put water in an antifreeze jug and poored it into my container in my car i said is that water they said yea i said i could have did that my self. My car was leaking oil after they put oil in the car i took the car to my own machanic and he did all the diadnostics on my car he recorded the dripping oil he says my seals are lose i told kevin the manager i even gave him the report from my mechanic he said my mechanic lied to me. He says thats water from air conditioner. I know the difference from oil and water i told them i want another car that sarurday and was there from 7 am to 4pm because they tryna give me a car for a higher note i would never pay another dime higher than what im paying i said just give me my money back.they said i will never get my monry back. We will see about that.So now they have my car for three days without giving me a rental car like i dont have a job. We gone see if its still a leak. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS PLACE EVER. THEY TRY TO FLIRT WITH YOU TO TAKE YOUR MIND OFF THE REAL PROBLEM. BUT IM NOT HAVING IT.

They lied I co signed for my sign to help his credit and they never put it on his credit to top it off the car has been nothing but trouble from day one. Nobody there knows what the hell they are doing but ripping people off.

Honestly if you can put $2,000+ down, you can literally get financed almost anywhere even with bad credit. Try more reputable places first even if you feel like you have the worst credit ever. If you have the amount they want down, then go to a better place!!!

Purchased a vehicle at this location 4 months ago. Vehicle was supposed to be taken back to dealer to have some minor body work done as well as have the sunroof fixed since it would not close completely. I was told, after picking up the vehicle, that roof could not be fixed at the time due to needing some parts.
It has now been 4 months and 6 trips and roof is still not fixed. They will not provide you with loaner, rental or reimbursement.
They purchase vehicles from auction and go straight to their lots without any work done to them
