We had a great experience at the dealership. The salesperson who helped us was very easy to talk to, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a Honda with a good deal.
Service Rep was very thorough and courteous. He explained what services were recommended and then asked me if I had any questions. He gave me an approximate time the work would take and checked in with me 1/2 way through to see if I was doing all right. He was very professional.

I've gone to Renton Honda (now called AutoNation) for over 25 years. When they were bought out by AutoNation, I noticed that their three top service managers moved with them - that's a good sign. They provide prompt service, a free shuttle to the mall or wherever you need to go, in the area, and they're polite and thorough. Tim Collins, who handles the quicker jobs, like oil changes, is a very tuned-in to customer satisfaction and making things right. I left satisfied, as always!
My sale rep Jeff Burley was the best. He took time to listen to what i wanted and didn t pressure me at all. It actually took 3 weeks before he found me the right car. I would highly recommend him and his 23 years of car experience. Thanks again Jeff I will be back for another.
This may sound odd, but I actually had a kickass experience here. We went in to get another key made and to see what was wrong with the existing key. Here's where it gets amazing - they didn't immediately jump to charging me more money and assume I needed something without first verifying. Damon, the service rep, actually went out to test the car with the key. I've been to SEVERAL dealerships in the past where I felt like they literally just wanted to find ways to part me with my money. These guys actually cared. Weird, right?! Literally the only dealership I've ever been to that wanted to do the right thing. Can't say enough good things about these guys.
Dropped my car off at 7 am for airbag recall. Was told it would be done at 4 pm. Arrived at 4 pm and after them having my car 10 hours I still had to wait another half hour to get my car. Kinda rediculous.
Amazing experience, they were very helpful and met all our needs. Very happy with my 2015 Honda Civic purchase.

Avoid at all cost! Can't emphasize this enough. This is NOT a review of AutoNation, but of their Renton facility. They are the epitome all things negative with car sales people which only lends credence to the stereotypes that exist. Read on if you want the story, but the staff is not to be trusted in the least.
BTW- I'm writing because this car has a safety hazard and should not be on the road. It has headlight that dim and go out. Even knowing this, they will sell this car. Shame on you for lack of ethics.
My story. We test drove a car that we noticed had headlights that flicker and go out. However, we wanted the car if they could address the problem, which is well known on the internet as 'headlight dipping'. This defect may only be noticed at night, but probably not during the day. We pointed it out and agreed to purchase the vehicle, providing they could fix the headlights. 'We'll take care of it' is a phrase right out of the sales manual. I have 5 days to return the car if not fixed. They promised NO repeat visits, it would be fixed correctly the first time. When we arrived for the scheduled maintenance (during the day), I was asked why I had not made an appointment. Hello, they set up the appointment, and we spoke about this when we purchased the car. I called the salesman and sales manager the day before the appointment. I emailed an article on the problem and possible solutions. Then I also spoke to them the day of the appointment-twice to confirm. End result, they could not fix headlights and we're going to send us home, now it's dark and rainy. I said not in this car. Maybe a loaner? The GM (underling), intervened on behalf of his staff saying HE never promised anything.
Long story short is to say that I was done dealing with them and exercising my right to return the car for inability to fix headlights. I was informed by the GM (underling) that they are a fortune 200 company. Okay great, give me my money back. Can't do that, because they do not have the right people on staff, maybe later next week. So, how about a receipt that I returned the car in the same condition it left. His response was that we don't have a way of doing that either-a fortune 200 company-really? I asked for a hand written receipt. Can't do that, it's not something they do. What about a loaner-can't do that either. I said you are a fortune 200 company, surely you must have some intelligent person who can manage this. His response is quote ' I'm a very well educated and smart person'. Give me a break. I just wanted a receipt and started walking around talking louder asking why he wouldn't write at least a memo stating the car was returned in the condition it left the lot.
End of story: after continuing the argument onto the sales floor in louder and louder voices, and telling him I wasn't leaving until I had a receipt, the GM (underling) finally signed his name to a piece of paper. Should have done that about an hour ago.
As of now, I have still not received my credit, which is very important to me. However, in the big picture, this pales in comparison to the person who poses life treating risk to individuals from driving a car with a significant safety defect. This from a Manager telling me to drive the car at night without working headlights.
UPDATE: I did receive a call from Tom, the GM the following day. Trying to understand what transpired a get the facts. He was apologetic and concerned about regaining our trust. He showed extreme concern for the safety defect, and was in total agreement that nobody should be leaving a dealership with a noted defective safety item. There we're plenty of other options that could have avoided this mess. I have since received both a receipt and credit. Tom's follow up and concern has restored my faith in his dealership, but only to the point that I would deal directly with him, never the two managers having no common sense. Someone needs to redirect their priorities. I feel Tom has satisfactorily addressed my concerns. Thank you Tom.

Drove from chehalis to look at a car, was sent tons of pics, they wanted a call or text so they could prep the car before I showed up, I didnt call or text but instead just showed up, the car had a flat tire (rim on the ground ) and the sales man tried to argue it was low profile, popped the trunk...immediate smell of mold and smelled of mildew and the carpet was soaked with water...seriously how r they still in business lol
On 27MAY18 my wife and I had a 2:30 appointment with Mariano to see a black 2012 Audi A6. We purposely arrived at 1:45 and was able to look around at the Odysseys in the the showroom. We checked in at the front desk and waited in the entry for 30 minutes before someone came to out to greet us only to tell you us someone else would be taking care of us. So we waited... Another 15 minutes and we felt like we were simply bothering everyone who we would've needed to speak in order to purchase the car. We were called by the GM approximately 3 hours ago later to see how our appointment went. We tried to reopen the dialouge to purchase the car and were immediately shut down. Let me say I purchased a different Audi from a private party and couldn't be happier. The black 2012 A is still on the their lot today, I can't imagine why. As for calling the GM in order to discuss the situation, he has already called us once twice but can't seem to care to remember.
The place was a breath of fresh air. I worked with Aaron in service and he took amazing care of me and my Mazda 3. I really liked how he even had a mechanic he worked with experience with Mazda. I know its weird to highlight their care of a different car brand, but I was pleasantly surprised with a good experience for a simple oil change. I highly recommend asking for Aaron if you go there, but I'm sure all their service people are excellent if they have a guy like that.

Bought a 2018 Honda Fit from these guys and of course they push all the warranty s they can on you.
Theft protection package and apperance package
Be extremely weary of those warranty s do not buy a car from them if they refuse to sell you the car without these warranty s they are non refundable and do not cover anything your regular car insurance doesn t already cover.
I just wanted them to clean up a little make up smudge on a sun visor when calling the 3rd party they send you off too Honda doesn t actually honor these warranty s by the way they are selling them for someone else. So besides that the 3rd party actually said they don t cover 99% of the things I was really told they would cover, go figure. They told me for 500$ they will clean off bird poop and your dirty seats and only if they are leather. If your cloth interior gets dirty your SOL.
Beware do not buy a car if these warranty s are pushed on to you, you can buy them without the warranty, it s only sold because the sales guy gets a large commission of that sale. I cannot stress enough your appearance package does nothing to keep your car looking new, it s just another sham to squeeze every dollar they can.
We have taken our Honda to autonation Honda service two separate times and will never take it back, they can not be trusted. The first time we took it there for an oil change the next day we went to leave a saw a very large oil puddle under the car. We called and took it back in for them to look at. The service department said it was nothing to worry about they had to just clean up after the spilled oil on the bottom. We trusted it was just a mistake so we took it back in for a second oil change but again we come out to find a very large puddle of oil again. We called to talk to service manager, that was just about a joke after them hanging up on us several time we finally got to talk to someone, we refused to drive the car back down there. Don t want to damage the engine due to their ignorance of how to service a vehicle. They agreed to tow the vehicle and promised it will be fixed tonight. This is the last time we ever go there and will be sure to tell everyone we know not to go to this dealership for anything. Very disappointed with the service department and customer service.

I go to Honda Renton to get my car serviced although I no longer live in the area because I have always been pleased with their customer service, their ability to explain things, offer coupons to reduce the cost of services and not pressure or upsell me on different services. They also give accurate estimates for wait times for services and have a simple online scheduling process for appointments. Special thanks to my service advisor Justin Ibanez for his clear communication, help with finding a coupon and friendly demeanor!

James was our Sales Rep and he was fantastic. He was so very patient with us and was not your typical pushy salesman that you normally encounter at other dealerships (which was very refreshing)! The sales staff was great but the process was the slowest I have ever experienced to pay cash for a car with a $200 trade-in. It took almost 5 hours before I was driving off the lot. If you go here be sure to plan for plenty of time. I sat for almost 2 hours without anyone speaking to me.

Amazed by the customer service at Renton honda service center. I had a problem with my CRV AC, first I took it to firestone and came to know that there is a problem with AC clutch. I went to Honda service center to diagnosis again to make sure it is actual problem. Bill at Honda service center patiently listened the problem and told me that he will call after diagnosis is done. I was amazed when he called back and told me that there is problem with AC clutch and they replaced it for free. He pulled the my car warranty record and there is extended warranty on clutch. So they replaced it for free. I simply amazed by the extra mile he went to help the customer. Now on wards I will only go to Renton honda for all my car service..
Fast and friendly service every time I visit. However, part of my oil change service was supposed to include an interior vacuuming (and was even stated in my appointment reminder via e-mail)- my car was not vacuumed. I have found that a couple of different times I ve come into Honda for an oil change, either vacuuming or car washing has been completely ignored when I was told it was included. I m not sure if this is laziness from the mechanics or lack of communication with the check-in staff.
Also, when I brought up an issue with my car window that I wanted a quote on, the man who checked me in did not seem eager to accommodate & said the mechanics do not really like doing that because it requires taking the entire door off and they do not get paid for it ... Luckily I was not in the mood to wait another hour on top my oil change service, otherwise I would not have let him get away so easily with speaking to a customer like this. Not sure if the auto department people work on commission but please give a refresher on what to say/not to say to customers.

He really went above and beyond to make sure I was well informed and comfortable with process, he was never pushy and I never felt like I was being haggled. After visiting several Honda dealers in Western Washington, I can honestly say that AutoNations Honda in Renton is the very best of what I have seen so far, and frankly, I am not easily impressed. I was handled with care by a small team of people, including the sales manager, Darrin, who took care of me from start to finish which included driving out with a $50k 2019 Honda Pilot Elite. I returned to have some accessories fitted, and, boom - the same care was applied. All in all, an excellent experience.

The Service Departments are so bad, please stay away from them.
I sent the car in because of the SRS Light and I agreed to have the car diagnostic. After diagnostic ,the Service Advisor has pointed out that the SRS Unit was needed to replace it. It was understandable to replace SRS Unit, but at that time, I believe my car would need to replace more sensor than just the SRS Unit. Then, I asked him again, is there any further replacement needed beside SRS Unit? He responded something like it could be the seat belt buckle and that is all. I confronted him again Are you confident about this because I do not want to receive any calls later saying that my car would needed more parts repaired to turn off SRS Light. He said THAT IS LIKELY NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Few days later, I received a call from him and turned out, my car needed more parts replacement. I was furious and unsatisfied with the HONDA SERVICE ADVISOR attitude. He told me that me car was involved into accident and that caused the car hard to be diagnostic. He should have said that in the first place. He told me he did tell me that but he was lying .Now, I have to pay 1,200$ for nothing but they agreed to take off 900$. So, I lost a thousandth dollar just for diagnostic.
DO NOT COME HERE TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. DON'T TRUST THOSE GUY, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY TALKING ABOUT.

I stopped by AutoNation Honda after very poor experience with other local Honda dealership. Ossman treated me right away in respectful and polite way and gave me good deal without cheap bargaining and " teeth pulling ".
Then, when I was ready to purchase car a few days later, he stayed after his work hours to make sure everything went smooth and quick.

My family has been in the market for about a month or two to replace our old mini-van. My 2 boys (14 & 11) kept asking to go with my wife and myself to purchase our new van. I found out that I could have picked up my car a day earlier but because of no response from the service department, I had to pick my car a day later.
I lost a day of work because of that.

I went in looking for a car and right away the salesman asked me how I was paying and even ran my credit score without my permission.
I took my 2013 Crosstour in for a major service and noted questions on brakes and transmission. The Service Advisor Bill Ackerman told me it would take longer than the usual fluids and filters and suggested I use their shuttle service to take me home and back. That worked very well as it did take longer and I even had a consult with Bill Ackerman from home while they were working on it. They answered my concerns and cleaned it inside and out. Top notch experience.

We recently took our vehicle in for a manufacturer recall for an air bag issue. The job took approximately 4 hours.(No issued as we were informed before job started). I received a call from customer service and they advised me of "other" repairs that were recommended that totaled in excess of $400.
Upon picking up car, I was informed that the driver side airbag was not in stock and that I would have to re-schedule for that to be completed.(Nothing was said when they were informing me of the "other" recommended repairs.
We requested a loaner car for the day which was rejected by the dealership.
I initially took in my CRV for an oil change and transmission fluid service followed later by brake pad replacement. The service staff is extremely friendly, the work was done promptly, the prices are very reasonable. As I was paying for the work, the service manager heard that I forgot to request a tire rotation when I dropped the car off. He expedited the rotation and threw it in for free. Add the benefits of a car wash and free shuttle service to/from my work. It's the only place I bring my Honda.
My experience at AutoNation Honda Renton was superb!! I loved test driving the car with my salesman, Pablo, he was a great help in choosing the car and explaining all of it's features. I enjoyed talking to Pablo at the dealership and it was great inside of the dealership as well, with a nice espresso machine and great fresh coffee. This visit was on Wednesday of December 28th and it was amazing. Gotta give it to the sales associates at AutoNation Honda Renton and the financial managers, Paolo was a great help and very fast with the paperwork. Seeing them make people happy is a great thing to see. This place is amazing.

I always receive excellent customer service over the past 10+ years.
But the long waits for express oil change, has made me decide to begin getting them at some other place in the future.
Showed up for a week ahead of time scheduled test drive, waited an hour with zero contact from any employees. I'll be taking my money to a dealership that actually wants it.
Honestly I should give them 1 start , but I change my mine because a reason.
Here is the reason: I came in the dealer a day before and I tell them what is the price another dealer is offer me,if they can matching that price , the man is name Mariano Prado is the sale man and he keep asking me to wait because the managements still make a decision, so I am waiting 2 and haft hours and we decided to get a lunch and come back, during 1 and haft hours I didn't hear any thing from him, so I call him back and then he telling me the managements can't go with that price because .
-And here why I change my feedback:
Next day I call them back to give them the feedback and the guy is name Nhan Nguyen pick up the phone, so I explain to him the issue and he asking me if he can ask the managements the price is was lower then the price I am asking a day before $450 difference. so he call me back and confirm they OK to sale me with the lower price.
So I came in to pick up the car and I meet the Guy name Phong X Nghiem I thinks he is the best sale man I met, nice,honest and very positive person, I was recognize you should meet this guy if you want to buy a car. Again Thanks to taking care the issue
Jeff helped us find our new car. He was professional and helpful through the whole process. We were only visiting to decided between two vehicles but ended up taking home our preferred choice. There was no pressure to buy. Easiest process and pain free!

I've never bought a brand new car before because I didn't want to go through the whole negotiation dance associated with a new car purchase. Going through the Costco program, I felt that I would get a fair deal, which I did. But more than that, I received excellent service from Thomas as well as the finance dept. I was treated with respect and patience. Overall, this was a painless car buying experience.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would! No one knows what they are talking about. Mariano and Igor were the people we dealt with. They both said different things. Which made it very confusing. Plus they kept pushing a Down payment from us which we didn t have. Plus the car I wanted was literally gone the next day. Which we were intending to get signed paper Work and everything requested a trade in value of our current car. Meaning they just sold it To whoever had the money first. Anyways bad experince!!!!! And I ll never go back. Toyota of Renton is way better and customer service is great! I d recommend NV Ngo. He s awesome and he s doing everything he can and not pushing a down payment. Renton Honda needs to work on there customer service. They don t even acknowledge there customers

We came by to buy a car and Hakim Lao was a great help! Service was fast even considering it was a holiday. Weve had previous experiences where we would spend hours at a dealorship buying a car while our time at Honda was smooth. Hakim did a great job explaining everything and was accomodating to our needs.
Everyone is courteous and helpful. However, lately every time I take my car in they recommend several other probable fixes needed. When pushed, they respond that none are urgent.
And as a follow up, I took it in yesterday reporting no windshield washer fluid ( there was fluid, the hose had gotten pinched - this obviously happened when they serviced it, as I had used it just two days before.) I also reported brake/tire noise - clicking at regular intervals, which they felt was a bottle of Tylenol in my console rattling around. No. Been there for a few years. The brake noise they said was due to the need to replace the serpentine drive belt, which 2 times had been described to me as not urgent. I am disgruntled.
Great dealership. We bought 2015 crv. They understand what we wanted an they made sure we got it. They didn't try to up sale another model or car. They willing to negotiate the price of a brand new car. Josh Graham was very helpful. I love to support family owned .business.
We highly recommend AutoNation Honda of Renton after looking and finding the perfect car for us at the best price. Their "no haggle" policy and low prices make the car buying process much more tolerable than the high pressure up-sell tactics used at other dealerships we visited. Our salesman (Nate), and the used car manager (Stanley) were attentive and responded positively to every issue and concern we raised. The customer financial service representative (Paolo) processed the paperwork in a professional and personable manner and in record time. Was super excited to purchase an Audi 4 today @9am, as soon as it hits 830 I get a call and they tell me they sold the car last night . Why couldn t you guys tell me last night that the car was sold? I wouldn t waste your time coming here, goto a different dealership. I was a for sure buyer for this car. If I could rate this dealership a 0 star I would for sure 10/10 times no hesitation. Will be letting others know to not come here because they might get a call 30 mins before their appointment knowing that the car they wanted is gone .
The entire process was professional, smooth, fast and easy. We were treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. Everyone was super friendly; a great experience and I would recommend them. Thank you AutoNation Honda Renton for making this experience basically pain free.
Our recent experience at AutoNation Honda Renton was far and away one of the best auto buying experiences we have ever had. The highlight for us was the lack of the back and forth price haggling that often goes with buying a car.
