My husband and I came in to buy a car one year ago and had terrible customer service. The person who took us on a test drive told us we woke him up from a nap and didn t say anything the whole time. We went to Everette and bought a car a week later purely due to bad customer service.
Today, we came in again to get it fixed (we booked an appointment earlier in the week for 9:15am) and waited over an hour before we were told that no one had looked at our car and it was still next up .
We understand that things happen, but we were treated with very rude customer service. The person helping us never apologized, but yelled at my husband that diagnostics take 2 hours, ignoring the real reason we were upset which is that no one had looked at our car and wouldn t for a while.
Please work on customer service. We re not used to rude customer service, so it s shocking to have had such a bad experience two out of two times. This is literally my first negative review on Google, but I had to share.

Just got a car from them. Overall experience is really great. Got to test drive a showroom car that had been sitting in the building for a long time. Some technical problems, but the technician able to fixed everything when delivered to the customer. The sales, Saif, is very supportive. Really recommend to check this place out.

I ve been going to AutoNation Honda Renton for years for regular service and repairs. The service is always excellent. The advisors are always courteous and take the time to explain the work. The waiting lounge is clean, quiet and spacious, or there is a free shuttle if you wish to go home. Highly recommend!

Past Saturday I when in wanted to test drive the new pilot, at first the sales person greeted me at the guest parking lot upon my arrival, so far so good, I'd proceeded to inform him the vehicle I'm interested in test drive and he's responses was "are you buying the vehicle today?" I'd told him "no" because I wanted to test drive the vehicle first and would help me to decide if the vehicle is the right fit for my family. He seem turned off by my response and told me he very busy and will not be able to assist with the test drive but offered me his business card told me to email him to schedule for test drive the following week. (Seriously?!) I got the impression if he is not benefited from the monetary sales, I would be wasting he's time, typical commission driven mentality.

Auto Nation Renton listen up, train your sales personnel to go the extra mile for potential customers, the motivation should be customer service first.

Our salesman Emmanuel Culala was very personable and knowledgeable and he helped me and my wife to purchase the right vehicle for our needs and finances. On our test drive, he showed us the basics of vehicle operation and had us experience many of the impressive new safety Honda Sensing features. Emmanuel covered much information with us and we are appreciative of the time he spent with us. James Salinas the financial manager was also very friendly and he got us through the the tons of sales paperwork efficiently. Renton Honda show room is very spacious and impressive.

Easily the least painful experience I've ever had ...

Easily the least painful experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. I was in the market for a 2011-2013 F150 with all the bells and whistles. Stumbled upon one at AutoNation on TrueCar and exchanged one or two emails with a salesman by the name of Rafael. I showed up a couple hours later at the dealership without an appointment (it looks appointments are preferred as there is an appointment board/tv screen at the front entrance) but Rafael sprung into action and we were test driving within minutes. Rafael just let me drive and didn't pester me with rehearsed questions or sales tactics, in fact I was the one doing all the question asking of him. When we get back, negotiations were so concise neither one of us needed to even take a seat. I threw out a number, he came back less than a minute later with a number close to my number, I asked to meet in the middle and presto we were done! All of this in under five minutes! He then focused his attention on the truck that I came in with. I was really indifferent on whether I traded it in or sold Private Party as I was buying the new truck with mostly cash. However, they exceeded my expectations again by upping their trade in offer for my truck until I was satisfied. I was off to Finance from there. The finance man, Ossman, was fantastic as well and had me out of there within an hour! If there sister dealership in Bellevue is anything like the Renton experience then they'll have a service customer for as long as I own my new truck! Thanks again for a a painless vehicle buying experience!

I had such a great buying experience at Auto Nation in Renton! My sales associate, Dave Slingwine was fabulous! He knew so much about all the car choices and their features and which of those would fit my needs! I drove away with a beautiful new car and absolutely love it! Thanks Dave your the best!

I had the only great car buying experience here! Nate Nguyen was so sweet and funny. He spent hours trying everything he could to find a car we could afford with nothing to trade in and nothe a lot of budget. I love my new car and all the staff at Autonation were helpful and really, really worked hard to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and everything was good. We are coming back here when my husband needs a new car!

Very happy with having our Honda Pilot serviced at Renton Honda Service Center. Bill Ackerman was very friendly and informative with the work needed. I did alot of research and dreaded taking my car anywhere for the timing belt service pkg. They loaned us a beautiful car for the evening and completed the work in a timely mannor. Have not purchased a car there but next time we are in need I will definitely start there. Thank you Bill for a job well done.

I go to renton Honda for inspections every once and a while and the last time I went. I had to deal with shady customer service. I found out after the fact that my transmission was almost done and that it would need to be replaced. This was a different mechanic who said this however. Renton Honda wanted to replace my ecu, replace the wiring and charge me a tidy fee of $4500. During our exchange, they couldn t tell me what the specific problem for the car was (why?). I just figure if a mechanic knows what he is looking it, then he can explain it kind of like how my brother does, quick and simple. All in all, I could have paid them 4500 hard earned dollars only to get a call from them saying hey man, it seems your transmission going out, we d like to go ahead and replace it for another 4000 or so talk about almost getting f ed in the but. My cars only worth $4000 right now!! As a side note though, got the transmsission replaced for $1300. No problems since and no ecu and wiring replaced like Honda told me time and time again was the problem. Shady.

They have bad customer service. They were only nice and helpful when they were selling you the car but after the purchase of our new car they recalled it right away and we didn t even get to enjoy it yet. And they made us wait for the whole day to work on it even though they told us that they re gonna work on it right away. And nobody even bother to call us to let us know what is going on. The excitement of having a new car is gone .

Linda was not pushy and was very nice to work with. I went in to test drive a few of the pre-owned vehicles I found on their website. She had them both waiting for me when I arrived. The whole process was a little unorganized. I would get texts and calls from different a person every time and they never had the right appointment time. They gave me great tips for being a first time car buyer. Overall I am happy with my decision to purchase my car from AutoNation Honda.

After calling several dealerships with the same information, explaining that I wanted to come in, look at the car, and have a bottom line price with no back and forth, I found the Renton Honda was by far a better buy. I spoke to Travis and was within a few minutes given a great price on a 2013 Civic. I set an appointment for the next day, and was called about an hour beforehand to confirm I was coming and see if there was any particular color I was interested in, they had both colors I had in mind ready for me when I arrived. Travis was unable to help me and Phong (Kevin) was sent over to show me the cars. Talk about a great bunch of guys. Kevin was very upfront, super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They were very respectful, allowed me to take the car home and try it in my garage and show my wife. I returned and the price was exactly what we spoke about before, a great bottomline price with none of the typical car dealership tricks. The finance department was great too. Very personable while maintaining the professionalism you would expect out of a business. It's no surprise Renton is a huge volume dealer with great ratings. Kevin even offered to help me drive the car home as I was in my other car, even though the dealership was closed by the time we were done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Renton Honda to anyone. Please see my review of Burien Honda, talk about a stark contrast. I never felt pressured and always knew that what they were telling me was correct, I did my research beforehand but would have been just fine walking in and asking questions. It's rare everything materializes in such a complex process with it being so simple and straightforward. If you want to buy a car with straightforward, great pricing, and all the info you could ever want at your disposal, call Kevin.

I just purchased a 2015 accord sport through Renton Honda a couple of weeks ago and I had a great experience. I wasn't bombarded by sales people while looking through there huge selection of new and used vehicles, like most other dealerships. They made it a very smooth and easy transaction from start to finish. I would highly recommend this dealership to other people who are interested in a new car. First off, Hondas are already great, dependable cars, and then there's the added bonus of awesome customer service!

Worst car buying experience. I presented an offer based on cargurus and the floor manager came over said the offer was an "insult" and sounded very agitated. Then the other manager came over and explained that cargurus was inaccurate which I understood and basically told me the lowest he could go was the kbb fair price. I decided to leave since this was my first dealership I visited since deciding to purchase a new vehicle and as I was leaving they pointed, laughed and cheered. A simple "sorry this is the best we can do" would have been sufficient and It's certainly not normal to cheer and stare at a customer who's leaving.
