The staff here is friendly, always smiling never had a bad experience with the front desk people or medical staff. The person who was answering phones though was kinda snotty and would cut you off before you could finish and you would end up finishing your sentence with the other person on the phone going I'm lost can you re explain please? Other than that it was a wonderful experience James Christensen was fabulous, the X-ray tech is totally funny he was cracking jokes and having fun loving his job, the casting people they were fantastic too. I had surgery and my hand had lost most of the swelling so they asked me to come in so they could re splint my hand for me... I always found my self smiling at this office.. Well I hope this helps

Facility was very efficient. Went in with a knee injury and left with a completed MRI, dr visit and consultation, and set surgery date for 8 days later. All within a few hrs. Thank u.

I've been treated by multiple Doctors at Reno Orthopaedic Clinic since 1990 and I've never had a bad experience. Dr. Kaiser is no exception, I would recommend him to my family and friends. He starts his treatment using conservative methods rather than going straight to recommending surgery.

Had my knee scoped and hardware from a previous tibia fracture removed. Nate and Dr. Uppal were great and the facilities were top notch.

Dr Lundeen is not only a very skilled doctor he s kind and compassionate. He s worked with me through some very difficult times in my life as I underwent multiple amputations. He took as much time as I needed to understand my options especially when they weren t necessarily what I wanted to hear. He listened to my concerns and took them seriously, then discussed the best plan on moving forward for my needs. I d recommend him over and over again!

Hard to get ahold of. Left multiple messages and didn't get called back days at a time. Was told by staff I would be called back by the end of the day but wasn't. Had to stay on hold for almost 30 minutes before I was able to talk to someone and make an appointment. Other than that they were informative and kind at the office visit and the doctor took very good care of my father.

I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, by all staff members, along with kindness. Dr. Kalisvart was very thorough in his explanation of my issue and answered all my questions with patience. Thank you!

My son was recently seen here due to an injury to his right big toes. The wait time was ridiculous but hey.. it s a Drs office right? Lol but anyways my done was seen by Dr. Cassenelli and the experience we had was wonderful!!! He was very polite and kind!!! Would recommend him to everyone!!!!

Doc has helped with my decade old 24/7 back/shoulder/neck pain from a terrible car accident in 2008. Always a smile and listens close to my answers to his questions. Highly recommend him to anyone suffering in pain.

From an operation for a fractured clavicle (Dr Althausen) to monitoring my recovery from a torn/ruptured quadriceps (Dr Uppal) I have found ROC to provide excellent care.

I was very happy to see and gp to roc for my knee check up .

ROC Express was compassionate, thorough and honest. The quality of care was above par. They were relatively quick as the wait times seemed shorter than typical emergency rooms amd more comparable to a regular doctor's office visit.

Efficient office, kind staff, parking wasn t impossible. Would go again if I had to.

Several thousand dollars later and my wife's wrist still does not do what the surgrey should have corrected, money grubbing minimal results!

Staff was friendly and helpful but the PA who seen me was rude and had an attitude when going back i will ask to not see her again....

Dr. Shukla has been my Dr. For 4 years now. When he moved to ROC I followed. He replaced both of my hips 6 weeks apart because I walked better 2 days after the first one . We decided to go ahead with the 2nd one. Hips are great now. I get bilateral knee injections now. I'm not old enough for knee replacement yet. But only Dr. Shukla will ever work on my legs. My neighbors also went to him and are very happy for the knee replacements.

Feeling comfortable and fortunate to have such a knowledgeable Dr. and attentive staff. Very professional office.

They were quick and extremely helpful. They worked with me because I could barely stand. From the wonderful office staff to the doctors amazing bedside manner, it was the best experience I could have.

I have had great care for over 3 yrs at ROC. Three different issues have been taken care of promptly and with great care. I would recommend them to anyone seeking professional ortho care.

Just had my right knee repaired by Dr. Kalisvaart and a new anterior right hip replacement by Dr. Watts and you just can't find better surgeons in their fields than those two. Both use the latest methods, do excellent work, explain things in plain english, are very personable and make themselves available or questions and anything else that you may need. Excellent doctors with excellent staffs. Now to get my SI joints fused by Dr. Bjorne.

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Naomi Albertson at Reno Orthopedic clinic. In and our in 35 minutes. Dr. Albertson is thorough and listens to her patients . I would highly recommend her and Reno orthopedic clinic

Well-run operation. The waiting room was well-appointed for someone who needed to put their leg up as I do on a footstool.
Waiting time was minimal considering the heavy patient load. Everyone was friendly careful courteous and cautious not to cause pain during removal of almost 50 Staples. All questions were answered in a timely manner and straight to the point even if the answer was no.
I requested a (could not snow ski) note from the doctor scheduled to arrive by email in 2 or 3 days. It arrived the next day.
It wasn't hard even for the Casual Observer to see this is a smooth running operation. Thank you for all the good service.

The ROC may be big, but the service is very personal and sincere. Very efficient and friendly.

Very impressed with the entire Doctor and staff members, they were all caring and professional.
They worked dilentgely to get the paperwork and hospital arrangements made so I did not have to make extra trips to Reno.

Each time I have been in the office, the wait is short. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. I have had two surgeries one with Dr. J. Jones and one with Dr. J. Christensen. Both surgeries have had excellent outcomes, so far, no complications. I am currently going to O.T. and the staff there is excellent, caring, friendly. I am so thankful to have such excellent doctors in this area.

Dr. Althausen took as much time as I requested to answer all my questions during the post-operation appointment. He was confident that from the emergency surgery he performed, I would recover 100% from my clavicle fracture. I felt reassured, and I recommend other patients to seek him out as an excellent surgeon.

Doctor Uppal courteous and professional. Up front and confident he laid out the options which aided in making the decision. I departed confident I selected the right Doctor to move me forward on my recovery!

Doctors and staff at ROC are some very fine people.

Had excellent care & follow up with my doctor (Dr. Bjerke) who performed my back surgery. Felt comfortable calling Dr. Bjerke after surgery with any questions.

Also, I felt the Northern Nevada Medical Center was the best from registration (check in) to discharge. All of the nurses & staff were excellent.

I would highly recommend ROC. I was able to get an appointment within a day or two of my initial phone call. Everyone is very friendly and professional and wait times very short from registration to seeing the physician.

Bad experience with ROC!! Scheduler so non caring!! Way too much noise in background of ROC's scheduling department.

The staff is always friendly and Widmer is the KING of pain relief

I was treated very well by the staff and the P.A. who treated me explained in detail what my injuries were and why they hurt so severely. I have a follow up in 2 to 3 weeks where Im sure if things are either better or worse they will definitely address my ankle at that point with the same respect.

I have been to ROC for myself and my parents. They consistently provide excellent service.

This place was great! Went in with a badly injured and swollen ankle. Even though they were busy and I had never been there before they got me into a room within minutes. Right after that I was getting X-Rayed and was seen by a provider. Janet Highill was extremely polite and professional, saw me right away, explained everything to my satisfaction and got me a boot and follow up scheduled within minutes. The whole staff in fact from the front desk to the X-Ray tech were extremely nice and you could tell they knew what they were about.The whole experience was great I can see why everyone says to go to the ROC for any injury you get. If you're injured skip the urgent care or even the ER go to ROC if you want your injury really taken care of.

I have found my experience at ROC to be excellent. Dr. Eric Boyden performed both of my knee replacements. He and his staff have been available on a daily basis to answer any questions which may arise. Dr. Boyden takes his time to explain procedures and address any concerns.

Have to wait one month to get appointment while in severe pain is unhuman treatment. How would the employees of ROC like to wait a month while in severe pain. I don't think they would like it.

I found Dr. Bjerke and the whole staff to be very friendly, very knowledgeable, very easy to talk to. Some doctors are not as approachable when it comes to asking questions. That was NOT the case at this office. Not only did they address my questions and concerns completely, but they went a step above to make sure i understood what the MRI showed them was going on with my back and what this abnormality was likely causing as far as symptoms. Dr. Bjerke went over the options available to me for my individual problem. He said if i had any questions or concerns, not to hesitate to call the office. A LOT of providers will say that but I've never really thought they meant it (with a few rare exceptions) but i truly believe he meant it. I want to also give a bug thank you to his physicians assistant and his medical assistant. They were both very very nice and good at their jobs. I work in a local pharmacy and see a lot of prescriptions from ROC. I think now, is because off the excellent quality of doctors and staff at the facilities that get people there I the first place, and then keep them there as long as they need the orthopedic care. I know I will certainly be a patient there as long as i need the care of an orthopedist. And i certainly would recommend them to anyone who asked. I had already thought very highly of the whole clinic because my then 29 yr old son tore his ACL playing softball and we were sure he'd need surgery and it was very close to his son's delivery date. Luckily they advised pt and rest to start to see if it would heal on its own. He was able to strengthen the knee and did not require surgery. That was the reason i went to ROC when i started having this current back problem. My son said mom, they are really good at what they do and if they think you'll get better without surgery, they'll tell you that and do what they can to fix what's hurting without surgery if possible. So i called and I've been very happy with the care i get there.

I highly recommend Reno Orthopaedic Clinic to anyone, great place and great people. Very friendly and very happy with the works of Dr. Gregory lundeen and his assistant's. Before and after surgery, i have been very satisfied and my foot is feeling golden.Thank you ROC!

I had gone to ROC a couple oF years ago for the same issue on my lest wrist, so thought it was a good idea to go back because they would have my history. The actual appointment was fine, Dr Kaiser's nurse practicioner was efficient and knowledgeable and gave me my shot. Only saw Dr Kaiser for about 5 minutes, but that was fine. My only complaint would be that I made the appt on Feb 1st, took almost 3 months to get in to be seen. They're probably busy because they're good. ..

Dr. Kalsvart is great. He listens to what is going on and explains things in detail. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

The doctors and staff take great pride in their costumer service. I've always had a very pleasant visit. The coffee shop in house is a huge bonus too.

Dr. Albertson is the best. Great bedside manner, knowledgeable, and friendly. Her staff is also a treat to work with.

I felt welcome and cared for even though I didn't have enough money to pay up front . Friendly , comfortable and a nice place to get help ! Highly recommend ROC to all !

I had emergency surgery after the set of stitches I received at Renown got infected, i couldn't even move my leg or walk at all and they sent me to the ROC for a follow up, my Dr. treated with not only concern but respect and explained what the problem was or could be if I didn't get treated....everyone is absolutely friendly and I probably wouldn't be walking today if it wasn't for Dr. Althousen...THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I highly recommend Dr Jackson Jones who performed my anterior total hip replacement procedure. He has tons of experience and is fellowship- trained in the anterior hip replacement procedure . His anterior approach was the best decision over a posterior approach as I did not need any inconvenient precautions and healed quickly . I had minimal pain and good mobility right off the bat. He is a top notch surgeon. Also, ROC returns my calls and answers any questions I may have. I hope I do not need any other procedures in my other joints but if I do, Dr Jones I put my trust.

The office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Boyden and the PA Garrett were friendly informative and wonderful. I am only 10 days post op from a total hip replacement, But the result is nothing less than miraculous! Everything that should ve been covered was covered. They gave me all the information I needed. And they told me what to watch out for. Seven out of five stars!

The doctors there have been wonderful,and have explained everything in ways for me to understand

Next week Dr Tom Christensen will operate on me for the sixth time this year. "Yes" he really put Humpty Dumpty back together again. I can't thank him or the staff enough for the care and kindness during my treatment. I even referred my son to see him for his own shoulder injury and he is now a patient. Can't go wrong here .....

January 26: I changed the stars for this clinic to 3.. Almost want to give it a 1! What listed below are true for services rendered. Unfortunately, their follow up results are horrible. I went for my MRI on Thursday, Jan 23 & was told that the someone will contact me on Friday, Jan 24 re results. No one called me to this day. I left 2 messages for the Center as well as the physician they recommended. I am still waiting for my results & for someone to tell me why I am suffering from excruciating pain.

The entire staffs are wonderful. I went there with extreme pain in my entire left leg.. & they took care of me immediately. All the staffs including the doctors are attentive & experienced. I highly recommend this clinic for immediate care.

Thank you Candie! You and your team are amazing! Beautiful work, professional, easy to talk to and with and mostly-wonderful with my 2 yr old daughter. Within 36 hours of getting the real cast she couldn't stand being immobile anymore and started to craw, stand and is now walking and has been nonstop smiling! The first 8 hrs in the splint from the Childrens ER must be torture, she hasn't cried or screamed since we walked out of casting. Thank you all again so much!! Xoxo

The lady I got over the phone was absolutely rude. I was told to call to make an appointment because my thumb was broken and they needed to look at it to make a decision of it needed surgery. But the lady said to me, "well you can just come in to our urgent care Center and we'll decide of you're thumbs actually broken"...seriously? Renown specifically said that is is indeed broken and needs to be looked at and to call and make an appointment. What an absolute lazy scheduler. WILL be taking my business elsewhere.

Had numerous visits with Dr. Albertson and am totally satisfied. ROC replaced hip and therapy was excellent.

I've had two knee surgeries with Dr. Bray and he's done amazing work.

Cannot say enough great things about ROC. Several months ago they began treating my mother for a broken arm and wrist. The staff has been so thoughtful and caring that my mother really enjoys going for physical therapy. Dr. Walker has been wonderful; he knows his business and interacts very well with his patients. ROC deserves 5 stars!

Having to take a young child in for surgery is never easy but the ROC surgery center made our experience(s) very comfortable. Dr. Christiansen and staff are top notch. Everyone who helped with the process was friendly and informative. Thanks for such good care.

Lundeen is fantastic! My first appointment with him, he had printed out images from my MRI and showed me exactly what he saw on them and explained what he could do surgically to repair the issues. I'm two weeks post op now and even though my ankle is still swollen, it feels better than it did before surgery! Lundeen's communication, bedside manner and experience is unbeatable!

I was seen very quickly. Nicole at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. Everyone was very professional and my injury and rehab treatment was thoroughly explained. It was my first time there and I would definately recommend it. Thank you, ROC.

I was taken in for my appointment on time. My Dr. Dobbs is knowledgeable, kind, and professional. His surgery skills can't be beaten. I gladly recommend him.

This is the worst experience that I had. I come to see Dr. Ryan Dobb for my both knees. However, I was assigned to see his assistant. She merely just read the diagnosis shown in the MRI report that I took one year ago. They told me that patients are drawn randomly to see doctor's assistant. Also, I asked for MRI exam. Now it has been three weeks, I still have not received any notice. I also called a week ago, and leave a message to at the MRI department and no one replies to me.

I had re-injured my low back while vacationing in Incline Village. I guess I
Overdid my exercise routine by swimming some laps. I called ROC, Dr Witmer's office to see if I could possibly get in to see him and maybe get a steroid shot to my lower spine before my pain got totally bad. I had immediately started taking Tylenol
and ibuprofen with some relief. I thank God that there was a cancellation for the next day and I took that. Dr Witmer talked with me about what happened and what I was doing about the pain. We talked about an upcoming trip I have to Florida and my concerns about that. He offered to give me shots to my lower spine area and advice to continue
Taking over the counter meds til after I came back from Florida. He said he wanted to see me after I got back. He's always been so pleasant, offers many options and advice, he always listens to me and is obviously concerned, his office always runs on time, and I really appreciate Anthony - very friendly, courteous, and great at his job!

Couldn't be more impressed with my experience during yesterday's total hip replacement. Dr. Chad Watts is truly an excellent surgeon. Very professional and nice guy, answers all questions in good detail. I was out of surgery about 8am, walking around by noon with a walker, and home by 6, yesterday. I had lunch and dinner from them in that short time, and it was actually very good, contrary to what I expected. Today, one day later, I'm walking around every hour, as instructed, but the walker may only be used as needed. Very little pain. Wow.

ROC office personnel very efficient, as was medical person, although she didn't introduce herself or offer any welcome.
Dr Watts is very personable and a good listener. Through his questions and the information he provided, I am confident he is the doctor I want for my surgery.

Dr. Jones was very friendly, informative, took time to answer any questions and concerns, and his assistant who gave the cortisone shot was also friendly and did a great job with the injection; barely felt a thing and I hate needles!

The doctor came to the appointment well prepared and provided my with excellent, easy to understand advice.

I was very pleased with the care and the efficiency of its delivery.

I had a problem with my knee. I got an appointment with Dr Renny Uppal he was great. No unnecessary test were taken. Took a standing knee x Ray he explained exactly what he saw. My knee had been killing me for almost 3 weeks. He suggested a steroid shot directly into the knee. He explained exactly what he would do I never had a steroid shot when he told me he was done I was shocked because I didn t know he had even started never felt a think. The other great thing he has early appointments mine was at 8:00AM I was called within 5 minutes of my appointment time. Would definitely recommend Dr Uppal and the entire ROC everyone very helpful and polite

Great job on my trigger finger surgery, Dr. KIZER is the best.

Garrett is wonderful! He's knowledgeable, warm, and an excellent listener. I left my pre-op appointment with all of my questions thoroughly answered and a very good feeling about choosing Reno Orthopedic Clinic.

Wrist surgery with doctor Christiansen went great very happy

I had to wait a little bit. When I got to see the doctor it was a positive experience. He didn't make me come back for something he could take care of right there. That is rare nowadays.

Very professional and very personable as well top to bottoms everyone I have worked with.

I have worked with Naomi Albertson and she is absolutely AMAZING. She is extremely caring, compassionate, sensitive to patient needs and feelings. She has AWESOME bedside manners. I have had her for a few different issues and she does what she can and then gets another Dr involved when the time is right. I will definitely be seeing her for the ground work if I have anymore issues.

Dr. Young was very thorough and explained everything so that I understood what was going on.. The staff was great.. I thought I had a later appointment time and was 45 min late and they were able to squeeze me in so I wouldn t have to come back

I have been a patient at ROC several times in the past 10 years and I can t say enough about the professionalism of all staff members. Kind, courteous, personal, and very dedicated to the patient receiving the latest and best of care for their particular needs.
In my opinion, they are the best of the best.

I was seen by Dr. Kalisvaart yesterday. He was amazing! Dr. Kalisvaart took the time to explain things and he actually listened to everything I was saying. He was very compassionate, understanding and easy to talk to.

The Dr and ROC Staff are Complete opposite from the previous Orthopedic Clinic I was going to, here in Carson City.
