We took my sonto the urgent care in sparks for a suspected broken arm there was no wait and we were quickly brought to Dr Webster. Dr Webster quickly diagnosed my son with a small fracture, he was casted and out in a short time. If you have a suspected fracture this is much better than emergency

I had an appointment with Garrett Berkich. He was thorough, knowledgeable and informative. He answered my questions and came up with a plan with my input.

Staff got me on the same day I called with someone of an emergency thank you thank you thank you very efficient doctors great

I was nervous frustrated, I ve had horrible luck finding a dr in Nv. They just don t take there time.. ask you real questions first syate they don t even check you or touch you...

So I w my in pretty burnt out. I ve been in so much pain I m loosing my mind.. facing other surgeries an complications an though this dr is just flooded with patients he takes the time to go over so much. I was not anrasy case.

He was so patient. And had great ideas in how to move fooreard. He actually listened! He well plugged in with other specialist. So I think anyone needing this specialty he s a great find. And very easy to talk to. I m very greatful to have found him.

I was treated quickly, with kindness and dignity, and with great competence. Matt was superb. As was Dr.Christiansen upstairs. Thank you all for a great if painful experience

Dr. Arraiz and the entire staff at the ROC are amazing. From check-in to check-out, I am always treated with kindness and outstanding service. Dr. Arraiz and Stefanie Caley spend a great deal of time getting to know their patients so that they are able to provide excellent care. I highly recommend them to anyone that requires long term treatment. They are the best.

Dr. Albertson was kind and thorough in her evaluation. She did a good job of explaining things to both me and my daughter.

Very good at explaining what is going on in words and phrases that I understood. He gave me a cortisol injection and told me how to manage my pain without a ton of medications..

I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Bray when faced with a challenging time of my life. I was faced with another right knee revision and sought him out for another opinion. He told me I needed an amputation. I was basically in shock. Having a medical background my self, I knew what he was saying was true. Dr. Bray scheduled a couple more opinions with highly qualified orthopedic physicians. They were all in agreement with Dr. Bray. I had the amputation shortly thereafter and have been Dr. Brays patient ever since. He and his staff are by far the most caring, efficient group I have dealt with in the medical community. Dr. Bray is a very skilled surgeon who takes the time to answer questions and relieve my fears. I can call with a request and it is taken care of. I would highly recommend Dr. Bray and Reno Orthopedic Clinic to anyone with an orthopedic problem. THEY ARE THE BEST!!

The clinic decided recently that they no longer wanted to work with Aetna. I can understand the business decision. What I can't understand is treating a non-emergency patient without telling them their insurance would not cover the visit. Providing service without telling us the bill would be 100% out of pocket is unprofessional. They informed us at the END of the appointment which indicates they knew all along. Obviously, money matters more than their patients...

Moral of the story- Don't simply take Renown's referral as your only option. Check around before choosing a specialist. Many times Google ratings are based on a lack of knowledge. People haven't had better service so int heir mind, this is as good as it gets.

Everyone is extremely pleasant. I would recommend anyone to them. They are very professional to everyone who comes into their office.

As a patient of Dr. Witmer at Reno Orthopaedic Clinic, I have received the most innovative and spot-on treatment for my pain. I recently had a procedure done at ROC for my back condition. I was amazed that 2 days later, my pain was 90% contained without medication or shots. I cannot express in words how good it feels to not have to endure any more pain! Dr Jones and his staff provided exceptional care, from the first appointment through surgery and postoperative appointments. I couldn t have asked for a better outcome or better care. I would recommend Dr. Jones for hip replacement surgery to anyone and in fact, do so whenever the opportunity arises.

Dr. Boyden, PA Garrett Berkich, and medical assistant, Amanda we're terrific, caring, helpful, and best of all, extraordinarily competent. And after my knee replacement, the therapists and their staff were incredibly supportive, caring, and competent. Didn't want to go through the knee replacement, it wasn't easy, but I couldn't have had a better experience.

Doctor Alberson was attentive and really cared about my health.
I lift weights and compete in figure and the Doctor understood my needs and goals.
She suggested a high protein diet with an anti inflammatory diet as well.

I received quick and thorough care. They diagnosed my injury and had me scheduled for surgery 2 days later. Office visits are fast and friendly. I will only visit Reno Orthopaedic Clinic for my muscles, joints and bones.

Was very satisfied with my visit to ROC and would definetly return.

The ROC is great! I ve dealt with several professionals here and each one has been knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I had been to many doctors before that had all told me my pain was basically irrelevant or due to other circumstances. Doctors at the ROC finally validated the problem with my joint and ligaments prompting me to have surgery. My operation was very well explained and executed. If I ever need anything related again, I will quickly and gladly go back to Reno Orthopaedic!

Reno Orthopedic was great, didn't have to wait long, Dr did a great job examining my knee and giving me a cortisone shot.

My dr. took time 2 fully explain 2 me the different options available. He cares how i'm feeling and he wants to help. Rare attributes compared to other specialists.

First page of website says they accept Atena insurance as of June 1. Called to make an appointment and and person says they do not accept Atena. I asked if she know the website says they do and she was clueless. Not good first impression.

horrible billing dept. won't honor the contractual write off from secondary insurance, they know Prominence won't respond to help patients, even if they did they are all morons and don't know this is a rule, if you are in network you have to honor the contractual write off. Just ask any reputable insurance company like Hometown health.

Dr. Young and his staff are amazing. Highly recommend them. My only complaint, is that he isn t a GP. I would use him for all my healthcare needs.

They were very attentive and answered all my questions. They made a few follow up calls to check on how I was doing. Dr. Whitlow and his team did a great job.

Had to wait about 6 weeks to get in. And about an hour wait before Dr came in.

Very friendly and fast service. They are doing everything they can to get me back to how I was before the injury. Highly recommended.

My 7 yr old daughter broke her forearm sat. Went to renown e.r. , was referred by them to see this orthopedic surgeon. The staff stated they wouldn't accept our insurance, even though legally he was the on call surgeon , he decided to see her this week. His staff was rude, and seemed more concerned about how I was able to pay than taking care of my baby! I have to find a new surgeon, she has had this arm broken for two days, frustrating!!!!!!!!!

My left knee had been hurting for more than three weeks, but as an eternal optimist I hoped it would just go away. After reviewing my x-rays, Dr. Albertson came up with the perfect solution, and the pain is virtually gone. Now, I can get back to my busy work life. I can't thank her enough.

I have been a patient here since 2016. I have been treated by Dr. Lundeen first which is an amazing doctor with a great team. I've been a patient of Dr. Shukla & Davis Ayers since 2016 as well. The team that Dr. Shukla & Davis Ayers have around them is nothing but the best of the best. The rest of the staff i have been helped by from the front desk to xray techs and financials has been nothing but top notch treatment and i would recommend anyone to come here.

They know what they are doing and do it well! Office is efficient, staff is attentive and helpful.

I received fast, courteous service, including X-rays, exam, ankle and knee braces.

Doctor and staff very professional and friendly, definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Everyone was very friendly, Ashley who did my xrays was knowledgeable and kind. Regina who is Dr. Webster's MA was friendly and eased my nerves. And, Dr. Webster was the best! He even called my surgeon in Illinois to go over my procedure. Nothing but excellent service!

They found the meniscus tear I knew was there but the radiologist report said there wasn't one. Thank you.

My experience with the foot and ankle department at ROC has been nothing but exceptional. Provider Linda Dunaway is informative, caring and personable. I would see her again without hesitation.

Update: It's so frustrating to get an appointment at Reno Orthopedic Clinic. I see two docs there and getting an emergency appointment is impossible.

First I sent an appointment scheduling request through the Patient Portal- no reply- so I called on the second business day after I sent the message.
Three times I called, was transferred to scheduling, waited on hold, and was cut off as the phone was answered.
When I finally do get through and ask for an appointment -two to three weeks out- the scheduler tells me that Dr. Witmer is gone for three weeks. I ask if I can schedule with the other Doc and I'm told that I can't because I'm Dr. Witmer's patient.....aaaargh. It's not like I get pain meds from them- and I'm amazed that nobody fills in for Dr. Witmer while he's gone for three weeks.
So then I try to get an emergency appointment, but the scheduler can't make those, and she has to ask Dr. Witmer's assistant..... who isn't available of course.

I also saw Dr. Kaiser once in May because of upper extremity issues. My problems have not resolved.
I tried sending a message to him through the portal several weeks ago regarding stretching exercises, but it remains unanswered, so I tried to schedule an appointment with him in two to three weeks- again no availability.

I asked to see another Doc and was told that new patient appointments weren't available to the end of August. I booked it, maybe this new Doc answers portal questions.

First review:
Doc Witmer is great! After almost 7 years of no diagnosis he took the time to hear me. Every other doctor (two rheumatologists, one neurologist, and one ortho) kept telling me my aching legs were sciatica. 2 MRIs, 2 X-rays, 1 EMG and my lumbar showed that I do have disc disease but the pain is different - and no one would listen!
During my appointment with the Ortho, Dr. Dobbs, he wouldn't even do a proper clinical exam - I had to ask! Even then he just did a leg raise, when I said I felt a little pulling he told me yep, sciatica.
It wasn't until Dr. Witmer - who did do an exam, that my hip bursitis was finally found and treated. Although I'd give Dr. Dobbs just one star, I'd give Dr. Witmer 10 stars; so I reckon it's a five star review:)

They have been on top of things with my ankle. I m going to have surgery and I m scared but anxious to be able to walk around again. I ll keep you updated!

A little nervous going in for appt, not knowing what to expect. Dr Watts got right to it, explained everything with my condition even showed me my xray, felt good when I left.

For the first time being there I was very impressed with them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Thomas Christensen explained everything in detail and was very polite and professional.

Dr. Boyden and his staff were wonderful. From the very first visit they provided a number of options with complete and thorough information. I opted for a total knee replacement and it went flawlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Boyden and ROC.

I have another area aboUT 3 " away from injection point. Will the first injection work over a larger area?
I attempted to ask a quick question of Steve Capel. He told the receptionist to leave my phone number and I would get a call back. That was about a week ago. He never smiles nor makes me feel welcome. He has the wrong attitude toward me and acts upset that I have come in to ask a question. I even asked for his assistant. I'll solve my own problems and questions. I'm the one with some atrophy in my thigh and I'm willing to work hard. Human being not an object. Far too old for all of this. New patient sign in was quick and met doctor in reasonable length of time. Very informative, attentive, and caring mannerism made my mother very comfortable with doctor. Very exceptional care.

I have always received excellent care from Dr. Boyden and his staff. I recommend their care and expertise unreservedly.

For anyone who is waiting for a hip replacement, thinking there is a miracle cure for a bad hip joint, there isn't. Stop prolonging the pain you are currently going through on a daily basis, and get Dr. Jackson Jones at the Reno Orthopaedic Center to replace your bad hip. You will be grateful everyday that you did. You are up and moving the same day as surgery, and will be pain free in about 3-4 weeks. I have been hiking, biking and walking without pain, and able to do all the things outdoors, that I love doing without limping or taking 8 ibuprofen just to make it through a day. It is wonderful to have my life back I hope you stop procrastinating the inevitable and get scheduled to get your freedom, an life back soon. It is the best decision I have made in a long time. I am sure it will be for you too.

Full disclosure, I am not a patient here. I have only been the driver for my friend who is. He has had only good things to say about the procedure he undergoes and all the people involved.
That said, even though the place is in the middle of a huge renovation I was able to park in the lot behind the building without any problems.
For the those that may have to park further away, there is a friendly security person at the front door who always asks us if we need a ride to our vehicle. It's a small attention to detail that IMO is a huge plus.

Doctor was 5 star.. The waiting room receptionists were 0 stars. They need to learn better customer service and job effincey.

Absolute best surgeon (Dr. Jones)! My hip replacement went incredibly smooth and recovery was almost nonexistent. The office staff on the other hand is the worst I have ever dealt with. Every time I call it feels as if I am inconveniencing them. Loud sighs over the phone, interrupting and not following up is what you will get most of the time. I am not a difficult person to deal with, so if you are, get ready! Calling the out sourced call centers in other countries is far easier than ROC. How can these people be so so bad? Couldn't be happier with the medical staff though!!!

I didn't know I could be more spoiled in a physician's office starting with the reception nursing to Dr CHRISTENSEN himself, and including my exit everything was timely smoothly professionally Done AND With A Smile. Well Done, Allie ( spelled correctly ), Nicole!! Paige ( Good Luck) And Becca Maintained Standard. Highly Recommended ( even with a painful shot..)

I would say as compassion, caring, and knowledge Dr. Arriaz and PA Stephanie are fantastic:)!!! Dr. Arriaz is a good person and fun to chat with as well! Nurse Torrie is great as well

Very courteous, professional, and friendly. Not rushed. Everything explained thoroughly and completely in a way I could understand.

Dr Witmer was very attentive and very responsive. He treated me on the first appointment, explained expectations and set up further testing for the same day.

Dr. Shukla, his assistant, Davis and my PT, Lori are an amazing team. I have congenital hip dysplasia in both hips. My right hip was replaced in September and they did an incredible job with a difficult surgery. I came out with even leg length for the first time in my life. They will replace my left hip in May. I am relieved to be with this same wonderful team for round two. The ROC is a very efficient clinic-everything is provided in house. Scheduling is easy and they took care of all the insurance authorizations and billings. Billing is always perfect. Make sure to take the total joint class-very helpful and do your physical therapy. Dr. Shukla is a skilled surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive techniques. He is kind and sweet. Davis is a kick and tells it like it is. You re in good hands with them. Lori is an expert at working with scar tissue to restore range of motion post surgery.

The Girls at the front desk were sweet and patient. The rest of the staff in the back seemed to know what they were doing as well. The only downside was that the actual specialist was no where to be found and I had to wait another 2 weeks to see him. Then they would get 5 stars.

From my initial appointment through my surgery and into my after care it's been nothing but good. While I'm hoping I don't have to seed them again, I will be recommending them to many of my friends.

Glad I was able to be seen due to a last minute cancellation. However it was well past an hour from my scheduled appointment time until I actually saw the doctor. My paperwork for my MRI was also not sent until 3-4 days after my appointment. I was told in the office before I left that it had been sent so I m not sure where the hold up occurred.
I did receive initial treatment before I left the office, for which I am very grateful. Once I get my MRI I will be returning for follow up.

Dr. Kalisvart is the best . Highly knowledgeable and awesome to communicate with.
