Our first visit to ROC was everything I was hoping for. Everything happened quickly and professionally. Everyone was nice, and from front door to the exam room was literally just minutes. Then we met the doctor we've been looking for, for years. Dr. Naomi Albertson. We have high hopes and confidence that she will help our son through his head injuries. She was wonderful.

Fast and very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and informative. Dr. Kalisvaart took the time to inform of what the cause of my pain was and what options are available at this point with the injury. Unlike other doctors I have been to see he didn't make me feel ignorant or just another paycheck. He listened to my concerns and together we came to a solid plan on how to move forward with my recovery.

Dr. Thomas Christensen was professional and pleasant, as was his assistant Lesha. I went in to the consult knowing I wanted to knock out my problem with surgery and Dr. Christensen didn't try to persuade me away from it too much. Just enough to let me know about the other options. The day of the surgery Dr. Christensen was ahead of schedule. The nurses at Renown were awesome. A month after the surgery I am well on my way to a speedy recovery. Zero problems with my interactions with the staff at ROC or the doctor. They were great. Thank you Dr. Christensen.

The staff was very helpful and kind. It was quick and I was in and out. The doctor however was not very helpful. He obviously judged me the second he saw me. He automatically assumed I was looking for pain medication and that was one of the first things he said when he entered the room. I find that VERY insulting being that I don't do any drugs or alcohol. He was very unprofessional and was not in any way concerned with my pain. When he walked in I was a little taken back because he looked unrested and hung over. I instantly smelt alcohol I.E Whiskey or something of that nature. He seemed annoyed to say the least and barely gave me time to ask any questions. He had one foot out the door the entire time. I pay handsomely for the help I needed and did not get the help nor the respect I deserve. I would recommend this place for the receptionist and nurses. I would not recommend the doctor. He should be under review and needs to prescribe whatever the patient needs at the time so that they can heal properly. I have been in so much pain that I'm not able to sleep. I work full time and have almost lost my job because I'm not able to function regularly, due to my injury. Nor should anyone reach out for help and be treated by a doctor under the influence of alcohol. I have spoken with a lawyer about the matter. This doctor is only concerned about himself and because of that people are not getting the help they need.

As a healthcare professional, I often refer my patients to ROC for their expertise. I am; however, quite bummed about the wait time. My 15 month old son's appointment was at 9:45am. We arrived early for check in and paperwork as I know this can take some time. We did not get called back to the room until 10:20ish... finally saw the doctor at 10:50ish... escorted to the casting room at 11:10ish and checked out to leave at 11:40am. As I said, I'm a healthcare provider so I totally understand that things get busy and some patients need more time than others, but at the very least just give your patients a heads up. I could have prepared a little but more for a 2 hour appointment for a 15 month old (snacks, activities... brought my xanax... just kidding). I will continue to refer my patients as I appreciate the expertise of the physicians in this clinic, but some consideration for other people's time would be much appreciated.

The staff at ROC are patient, caring, listen well and answer questions thoughtfully. I have been to several scheduled appointments there, as well as most recently, (Sep 2020) to their walk-in clinic, for a knee injury. I was seen quite expeditiously and referred for further imaging without hassle. I would highly recommend Reno Orthopedic Clinic. It is no wonder they are in the process of expanding their facility.

After a bad fall skiing I was able to get in the next day to see how badly my shoulder had been damaged. I was seen fairly soon after my scheduled time, x rays were done on the spot and I was given an exam and advise afterwards in a straight forward and professional way. No worries about over prescribing unnecessary surgery or pain meds. Recommend Dr Dobbs and his associates and the ROC practice.

I love ROC ! I had an arthritic hip which deteriorated greatly in the last 6 months. It was So bad I couldn't walk without horrible pain and had zero strength. I had to manually move my leg. Having no insurance I didn't go to a doctor. I knew I needed a hip replacement , but why bother? Well I didn't want to end up in a wheelchair so I made the call. From the first person I spoke with at ROC, I knew I had a chance to regain my life ( I'm only 56). They explained initial visit cost and told me surgery was possible, even without insurance. I scheduled an appointment. My doctor is Jackson Jones, who on my first visit old me how bad it was and surgery was a must. He left the room for a bit. He came back in and told me how the clinic and he himself would waive much of the fees. Bottom line..my new hip and Everything involved cost me HALF, due to their generosity. Of course I had to pay upfront (I got a loan), but today, only 2 weeks after surgery, I move and feel better than I have in years! Dr. Jones is Amazing !, as is Everyone at ROC. They gave me a life back! I'm eternally grateful!

Great friendly staff that knows me by name with out having to look it up first and always ask about how I'm doing and how everything is going in my personal life they show they truly care about their patients and Dr. Witmer is a great doctor listens and is very much willing to help his patients and care about their condition. I live in Carson city and I drive up to see Dr. Witmer every 2-3 weeks I have been with Dr. Witmer for about 5 years now and I'm very happy with the way he cares for his patients and for me and my condition as well. I would and have recommended Dr.Witmer and the roc to my friends and family and I have a couple family members who go to the roc for their care now as well.

If your looing by for a bright professional energetic and leading edge Doctor to diagnose and correct you knee issues look no further than Dr Shukla. We are managing my pain in my knee to get me through the golf season. I will return to this post in November after the replacement to give you the update but I like the technique that Dr Shukla has laid out which will speed up the recovery time.

i was referred to R.O.C. by my family DR. and she had said that this dr. was very nice, patient and explained alot. i thought great. made the appt. and they had mailed out the forms to me since i live 3 1/2 - 4 hours away from Reno. i filled all the papers out and wrote my medications down that i am taking, and my allergies and the drug names down. my appt. time in early afternoon, checked in a 1/2 hr. early, i sat there with my mom for 1 hour and 20 mins. after my scheduled time. finally got called and we went back, sat there for another 15 minutes. then the Dr.'s asst. came in said her name and dropped in the chair and said what's the problem, she's rude, short and out fast, then a x-ray tech came in and took me back for x-rays, done! waited another 15-20 mins. for the Dr. he came in, said his name and i gave him a list of drugs that i was given and tried explaining the area and why i was getting them, i was taking up to much time, my mom had started to ask a question and the dr. shut her down in less than 6 seconds flat!! then he said" you can live with it or i can fix-it and out the door he went, visit done!!! we went to the pre-surgery to schedule the date, and they asked questions, did a ekg, asked a couple of more questions and then left. the next day the lady called from the surgery dept. called and wanted my medications that i was taking, will that was on the form, and she said separate depts. o.k. well, i started talking about the questions the dr. didn't answer, being rude, and not explaining the surgery, risks, etc. the next day this other lady called and said " since i said this and this , the Dr. said i could find someone else to do the surgery because i said this about him!!! done, i guess since he's a Dr. and i said those things, he'd figure not to do the surgery!! i guess because you're a Dr. you automaticly get respect, a i completely trust you, and total faith, but you're to good to listen, explain, and answer because you have that "md" after your name!! wrong for me!! i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, this place has a god complex and you better not ask a question period!!! my only saving grace is keeping a record of these calls received!!! cindy hampton

Overall I had an average experience. Having surgeries through UC Davis in the past and comparing the two, ROC doesn't hold a candle. I also did not enjoy the experience with my doc/surgeon Dr. Kalisvart. He didn't listen to my issues, would talk over me when I'd try to explain where my discomfort was. Then after surgery I ended up getting a blood clot (I've had the same surgery before and never had issues). I recommend doing your research and making sure this is the clinic you want to use.

I recently had some treatment at Reno Orthopedic Express with a follow-up appointment, later, in the main facility. Both front desks personnel were cheerful and helpful. You can tell when somebody likes their job. If you can wangle an appointment with Dr. Boyden do it. He's just the best!

It was my first time at Reno Orthopaedic Clinic, it was a very good experience. I needed a shot for Trigger Finger, I did not have a long wait and Dr. Christenson came in pretty quick. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Yes I would recommend the Dr. and the clinic.

So appreciate the conservative approach, delivery of care, competence and connection made at this appointment! It was worth the wait! Dr. & Staff were a pleasure to work with! I would send all my fingered friends & relatives to Dr. Christiansen without hesitation! I most likely will need surgery at some point in the near future and am confident that I have found the right Dr. & facility for the job.

The staff who came to Fallon were very cordial and helpful checking me in. The nurse who took me to do the xrays was very considerate and tried her best to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. As for Dr Bray he is Always very considerate of your feelings. He is never in a rush to move on to the next patient. He gives you his full attention when you gave something to say. Dr Bray is a great doctor in my opinion and I would highly recommend him.

Went to ROC URGENT CARE and found the process very quick and easy. Bruce Gallip, PA-C was thorough and moved me through the system quicker than if I had gone elsewhere. Within the three weeks since I first walked through the ROC doors I referred a friend and we both were handled professionally. Job well done!

While the office was great, Doctor Witmer was rushed, didn't talk at all about his diagnosis or thought process, and didn't even slow down to understand that I've unsuccessfully tried his proposed treatments multiple times. He then got a call, left the room, and I sat there until a nurse came a few minutes later to tell me the doctor was done with me. For someone dealing with chronic pain, this was deeply disheartening. Genuinely a terrible experience.

Dr Bjerknes was excellent in the consultation I had with him yesterday. He explained what is going on in my neck clearly , showing x rays and MRI to me and explaining them throughly. He also provided recommendations as to the procedure that is necessary to ease my neck pain. He spent plenty of time explaining and testing me for loss of strength and reflex time . He was very through!

I have been a patient here since Father's Day 2004 when a freaky boating accident amputated my left foot. I was care flighted to St.Marys when my foot was reattached. It works like normal thanks to a great team of nurses and doctor's from ROC. My recent rotator cuff surgery with Dr. Uppel was a success and I am very pleased with his personality and skills. I recommend him and ROC to everyone I talk to.... Robert Frank I have been seeing the doctors at ROC since 2005. I have had two knee replacements & "assorted" joint/feet problems. I will and do recommend these Doctor's highly. I know they will answer my questions and concerns so that I can understand. Two thumbs up and thank you for your excellent care. Elaine Frank

10 star worthy Dr. KALVASART hands down one of the best docs I have ever encountered. He is not dismissive he listens & is diligent, professional & respectful. His staff is so responsive everyone actually makes eye contact even the girls at the front desk. Eveyone there has a can do attitude. This is a Dr.& staff that understand the sanctity of the faith & trust patients give them when you show up to their office. Dr. Kalvasart & his staff exceeded my expectations I would highly recommend him.to anyone needing orthopedic care. Dr. Kalvasart did not just do my surgery & forget about me, he personally called me the next day to check on me, not his assistant nor a nurse. He takes his job seriously & takes pride in it to. Thank you Dr. K & your staff you all are second to none.

The staff was responsive and professional. I checked in and got x-rays quickly and smoothly. However. They seem unconcerned when it comes to getting the job done. I have a gruesomely broken arm that requires surgery to set. It should have been repaired on the day of the visit to which I refer. But they just gave a vague commitment to call me sometime to schedule surgery. The weekend adds three days to process at least. Not acceptable. I expect everything will be taken care of in the end. But leaving a patient incapacitated like this with no reasonable expectation is poor form.
