I initially had an ok sales experience here, Kevin was my point of contact and he seemed liked the least stereotypical salesman of them all. But he still had to work within the typical dealership pressure sales forced from his boss...something along the lines of "we'll give you this extra incentive to buy right now, don't leave without signing paperwork - a free trip. But if you leave now the offer will no longer stand". Does anyone appreciate these kind of high-pressure sales? Do they think it leads to an overall good sales experience for the purchaser? Do they think it makes me want to come back for another vehicle?
Since my purchase a year ago, I have had no less than 24 emails and phone calls to try to get me back to purchase again, offers to trade my truck in for a new one with these discounts, enter your name for this free vehicle raffle (the contest was apparently over before I had even called to enter, which happened to be the same day I received the mail, but the operator was more than happy to ask me a questionnaire about my current vehicle - a poor excuse for another attempt at simply phishing for more potential sales), etc. etc.
Yet when I myself contact them and leave a service voicemail inquiry, nobody calls back, even after my salesman Kevin got back in touch with me at the one year anniversary and I mentioned my recent unanswered voicemail inquiry and then him personally asking the service manager to contact me, still no follow up! This poor service experience is in addition to the fact that I had to bring my truck in no less than 3 times for a simple parking sensor fault (it was going off all the time at slow speeds) - it took 3 service visits for them to finally accept the sensor cylinder needed replacing under warranty. This to me is completely unacceptable and the recently ignored inquiries are the icing on the cake, this dealership has proven to me time and time again that they are only in it for the money, and the service department are about as useful as a one-legged man in an arse-kicking contest.
From now on, I will be taking my hard-earned money to the much, much better service garage located conveniently near to where I live.
