picked up my new car from the dealership on 24th jan , all looked fine and i was happy , two weeks later scratches appeared on the bonnet after the first wash ,,,,so dealership covered them up with something , very worrying , sent photos to the dealership , they did not want to know , james farr the sales manager and ben the salesman done this to me , this criminal activity is not good for renault or me or its customers ,,, spoke to renault uk , they do not care as they have sold a car and got my money ,,,,,,,budgen motors and renault should not do this to its customers ,,,,,,this sort of activity must stop , ripping off customers ,,,,

The new Renault Clio TV advertisement shows various moving cars with people and items on top, such as a man playing a piano, a woman sitting at a table and a couple dancing, etc and a man running over several cars - which I assume is to demonstrate the strength of the structure of the car s roof.

I contacted five Renault dealers within 50 miles of my home and not one of them would allow me to stand on the roof of a Clio or replicate any of the scenes on the advert. Why? Because I was told that it would damage the roof of the Clio - so the dealers did not trust the advert.

If a prospective customer is not allowed to test the capability of the car, then Renault are surely guilty of misrepresentation.

A car with a roof structure that strong would be a positive safety feature in the case of an accident where the car landed in its roof. One dealer said that likewise he would not let me collide with an object just to prove that the airbags work and I would have to accept it on trust.

But all I wanted to do was to stand on the roof to show that it was as strong as Renault advertise it to be.

I have been waiting for a certificate of conformity for 9 months, no one replies to emails or phone calls, appalling service. Im still trying!!!! need to register my car in France and they cant help either!!!!! Its a french company!!!

Try speaking to their complaint department regarding getting my Zoe repaired by Renault, but they say Renault don't have their own Garage to do repairs and i should contact my insurance and they will sort it out???? instead of me making a complaint, felt like i was on the receiving end?
as soon as i get it repaired, im getting rid of the Zoe. Their customer support is a bit of a joke.

Worst company ever experienced sold faulty car cannot fix it over year i still struggle they simple don't care insist keep going for diagnostics and second opinions around united kingdom use my fuel travel costs they provide only local rent courtesy car but only pay for rent. Misleading customers without service or pre-delivery inspections, millage and advertising falsely customer care is shocking lie and treat like second person. They have your money end of story. Don't accepting car back , main dealership rude and unhelpful always excuses we are not in control. We only keep your car for 3 days maximum then come back everything fine fault not found! Their cars not safe be aware avoid

Having bought a Renault Magane in 2010 I was thrilled with the car. The dealership ( Hylton Renault Cheltenham) left a lot to be desired .
`I replaced the car with an up dated version. The car is everything I hoped for and more,but the dealer is getting worse.
. I ordered the car in February of this year , and was told I would be informed of the cars progress. I heard nothing until I phoned then in April , I was then told it would be ready SOMETIME in May.

The car arrived at the end of May. When I got home I found there was no spare wheel, just a Air cannister for filling ( or what ever ) , I decided I wanted a spare wheel, so I went into the dealer who said he would let me know the price of wheel and tyre , I waited and decided to look on line, I got a spare wheel WITH tyre ,universal scissor jack AND brace delivered FREE and CHEAPER, quicker than the dealer got back to me with the price .
Well done Renault Hylton Cheltenham ... you should be ashamed of your service

I was told to go to an interview, it was supposed to start at 12 but because of how unorganised they are I was sat waiting for a whole hour before my interview began. I was then told that they would respond within the next day or two, I got a call a week later telling me that they had 'filled all the positions' but apparently there was no feedback as to why I was unsuccessful.

Currently have issues with my car for the last 4 a...

Currently have issues with my car for the last 4 and a half months. Approximately 10 seperate visits to Renault dealerships to try to resolve the problem (70 mile round trip everytime) . Currently have not had my car for nearly 2 months as apparently they are awaiting parts. Also have had confirmation that a Renault main dealer fitted the wrong part to my car which has caused even more issues. The same Renault dealership that caused the issues then had no intention at all of rectifying the faults so I had to approach a different dealership.

Multiple emails to Renault CEO office but only had 1 response. Also I never get the call backs promised from their customer relations team.

Renault UK seem to have absolutely no interest in any type of compensation and the Customer Relations Managers have no idea what customer service is. The last Customer Service Manager I spoke to was the most patronising and antagonistic person I have ever spoken to.

Considering my current Renault is my 3rd in a row the whole situation is completely unacceptable.

Renaultsport has long been the cars I always wanted but after this debacle I will sadly be looking elsewhere

'17 plate renault trafic, 47k miles, 2nd service, misting on front suspension and only 50% covered under warranty and been told i HAVE to replace both front suspension.....what a joke!!!!!!! ill be selling after the poor warranty run outs in april......what a joke!!!!!

The customer service is a disgrace. Kept me on hold for 50 minutes.
They don't seem bothered that my new 69 plate Master van has a number of faults already showing. The dashboard has more lights flashing then my Christmas tree. To be fair to Renault, it did run for the first six days problem free. Renault Leicester don't want to know. Renault UK suggest I call the RAC. Total disgrace. My first and last Renault.

I bought a Renault Twizy just over a week ago with barely 40 miles on the clock and registered in the V5 in February 2015. The hand brake was not working properly and the wheels made a noise when travelling. I took it to Westover Renault who are a very nice Company to deal with, but because it was (so we thought) under warranty, it needed permission from Renault UK in order to carry out the work. It transpired that the brakes were corroded and maybe warped. According to Renault UK the car came into the country in 2013 and was therefore out of warranty! They have flatly refused to cover this work under warranty and after many phone calls have offered 50% of the cost. Why should I, having bought an electric car which has barely covered one electric charge worth and registered in UK on feb 2015 - have to pay for the brakes to be replaced? It has totally put me off Renault (apart from the westover garage). So please BEWARE when buying from Renault and consequently dealing with Renault UK. Their Customer Service Manager is totally without sympathy and is particulary difficult to deal with!

Customer Support at Renault UK is shameful. Renault agreed to supply a Certificate of Conformity free of charge for my UK registered van but they would need 4 to 6 weeks as they had to get it from Renault France. After confirming they would do just that they rescinded on the offer and told me I had to approach Renault France myself at a cost of 175. I used the formal complaint procedure and guess what, the person/department I was complaining about replied with all manner of excuses and refused to escalate my complaint further or independently within the organisation.

Without a doubt the worse company I have ever dealt with - by a long way. Rude staff, terrible and inconsistent service. Just do not buy a vehicle from them for fear of having to deal with them if you have an issue - which you are likely to have. They will no doubt reply saying they have dealt with it but they know they haven't. Currently with the Ombudsmen.

Have 64 plate capture & had engine completely cut out on me whilst driving with no warning signs at all! Brought car originally from dealership in the summer 2015 & had full service history with them every year since. Been told I need to pay for a new engine that will cost the same as what the car is worth. Renault refusing to take responsibility. Not acceptable. Please tell me why I should be liable for this cost & what I could have done to prevent my car cutting out on me?

My Renault kadjar locked itself with my key, bag and most importantly my BABY inside (it is not meant to lock when the key is in the car). Before anyone asks no my phone was not near my key fob. The car locked within a second of me closing my baby s door and me opening the drivers door. I had to smash a window to get my baby out. Should mention the cars Temp was 25+. Roadside assistance wouldn t come to me and help get the window fixed as they said I d smashed the window myself and that s deemed as vandalism. Spoke to customer complaints at Renault UK (a manager I should add) who told me he d call me the next day before midday to organise my car to be taken into to get looked at. He did not call me. I organised my car to be taken into the dealership as I m now petrified of the thing. I called him and he took over 4 hours to call me back. Told me he d call me the day after the car gets looked at to check in with me. I m still waiting for this call and that was meant to happen last Thursday. I call him yesterday and get told he ll call me back later that day-I m still waiting. I enquired with a receptionist who do I speak to to complain to about the complaints manager? and apparently there isn t anyone customer based?!?! Allegedly there is nothing wrong with my car. I m scared of the thing and have to second guess my every move now. I m disgusted by Renault customer complaints and will not buy from Renault again. I ll be sharing my story to anyone that will listen!

Never once tried to resolve the situation to an obvious error made on their behalf. The email correspondence was not even grammatically correct and this manager could not even remember to put capital letters after a full stop. steer clear!!!!!!!!!
