Upscale hotel with stunning atrium. I started in a king suite, spacious. I did notice some pesky maintenance issues; the couch was worn out, the bathroom door handle did not operate normally, the bath tub was sunken in.
The atrium is decorated with koi pond, waterfall and lucious plant beds. An awe inspiring area. In contrast, the other public spaces are decorated with plastic plants, also on the balconies facing the atrium.
The hotel has ample parking and is within easy walking distance of various stores and restaurants.

The Wife and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend, The service was very poor. The hotel was understaffed to the point that it takes 15-20min to get a drink at the lobby bar. 4 star I think not.
We had trash all over the hallway all weekend long. even had a bag of trash hanging on our door handle when we got back from dinner. Also we asked for fresh linens, which were never done and then we asked hotel for then the 3rd time they brought us the wrong sheets and asked us to put them on. I would recommend finding a better more suitable hotel for your money. We might as well stayed at Motel 6.

We stayed here last week, won t be going back. I am a tolerant longtime Bonvoy customer, but this hotel disappointed me in several important ways.
1) Price gouging is never acceptable, and surprise charges are in that category. Upon checkout there were daily charges of $9 extra for parking. That is understandable in Manhattan or Philiadelphia, completely unreasonable with acres of parking lot unused.
2) Advertising that they Have an airport shuttle. when I called to confirm, they gave me the phone number of an independent taxi person in place of an airport shuttle due to Covid. the taxi driver picked me up at the airport and took me to the hotel and then said I had to pay for the trip! if the hotel had called the hotel would ve paid but since _i_ called the hotel asked me to pay! unacceptable...if you stay at this hotel and use the hotel shuttle call the hotel and have the hotel dispatch the taxi.
3) Renaissance have a very nice gym, free weights and machines. the disinfecting wipes for the gym equipment were located in two dispensers by the doors of the gym, both large buckets were empty. I told the front desk four mornings in a row that there were no disinfecting wipes never refilled. Maybe a supply disruption.
4) I understand that they may not wish to have a Buffet breakfast during the time of Covid, but charging Buffet prices of $15 for a la cart service is just another gouge.

Next time in Tulsa we will be back at A Loft, slow elevator and all
:)

Couldn't ask for better people than those who work here. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 is because they only have coffee out until noon and then switch to water. Also no microwave in the room. Lots to do within walking distance

Huge conference center. Complimentary parking. 50,000 sq ft of meeting space. Grand ballroom is 28,000 sq ft by itself. Great conference registration area. Well laid out for meetings and conferences. Right off the highway. 9 floors, 265 rooms, 35 suites.

My wife is disabled we had to park far from the hotel and since she has back problems, it was hard for her to walk. Also, the balcony door would not open so we couldn't go outside and i paid extra for the balcony

My husband and I received amazing treatment. We were given vouchers for free breakfast because it was our anniversary. We were also given a free vouchers because we had to wait for a room for a few minutes. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. This spa is great and the sauna was nice. Great clean room! Fabulous view from the balcony. Best breakfast buffet I have ever had at a hotel. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

Be very careful which side of hotel you stay on. We stayed on the western half of the hotel and could hear highway traffic noise most nights. Although there were less than 15 cars on the lot, all the other similar rooms were booked , so another room was not available. Nice location and the staff was nice, but the hotel looks dated and tired. Most Marriott Courtyards and Hilton Garden Inns are a better choice in my opinion. The hidden $8 parking fee to park on an almost-empty, unsecured, uncovered parking lot is shameless.

This was my first time to stay in this hotel as I usually choose another Marriott property while in Tulsa. The Renaissance is a nice hotel and the staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything worked in the room and the TV had clear channels. I enjoyed using the concierge lounge. I was surprised and appreciative of the attentive service in a crowded bar the one evening I went into the bar area. I also enjoyed the smoked salmon on the breakfast buffet in the restaurant and the concierge lounge. That was a nice treat. However, the scrambled eggs are not good - too rubbery and tasteless.
I used mobile check-in and selected the option for 300 reward points in lieu of daily housekeeping service. Housekeeping came everyday, which was nice, but not my choice. Also, I typically hang a towel in the bath to reuse another day, but that environmental-friendly action was for nought.
Overall a good experience!

My husband and I spend 2 nights of a 4 day 3 night vacation listening to dogs bark all day and night. Upon check-in they failed to notify us they were hosting a dog show and other guest had brought their dogs. Some had more than one.

Secondly, despite availability of better rooms, because we booked through a third party vendor, we received the worst room. You can truly sense we weren't valued as must as other guests whom reserved the rooms directly through their facility. We are still paying guest.

Lastly, I agree with the other reviews. The rooms are outdated and need improvement. The bath tubs have rust rings in them. I wasn't comfortable with taking a bath.

I would suggest the Renaissance in Tulsa as an excellent choice for meetings, conferences & gatherings. I have not stayed there; but in my visits it is obvious that their facilities & staff are top-notch for Tulsa.

It is not close to the downtown Art District, if that is a concern... But in staying downtown you suffer from certain setbacks: no local commodity stores or all-night food vendors.

On Google Maps you'll see the Renaissance touches the East-West street, 71st, where there is a concentration of Enterprise. And they provide shuttles, 24/7.

Downtown, if you need something, where can you get it? Here you can stroll across the street to a Super Target, open 7-11, & a large Mall is 2-miles away.

I'd suggest visiting Broken Arrow's downtown as well.

Date night getaway. The room was spacious and nice. I loved the Indoor waiting area with the Koi ponds. There are multiple elevators so no long wait. We had a balcony and it was beautiful to stand outside. Beautiful hotel. Will book here again

Went to the bar with a friend. Service took quite a while. About 35 minutes before even getting a server to chat with us. We were right at the bar. Not normal for this location, from my experience.

Stayed 5 nights for a conference. Everything was terrible, check in took thirty minutes. The restaurant food was bad and very slow. My son's pizza came out 15 minutes after everyone was done eating. After our rooms were cleaned they never replaced the towels. I always had to ask twice for anything to get done. To top it all off the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night!

Hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. Some amenities are getting dated to the point of obsolescence or disfunction. They fixed a leaking toilet right away, but the accessible shower was not set up very well for all guests and got the whole bathroom floor wet when showering. Conference center was accommodating and the food was good. I'm sure we will be back for another meeting.

Was checking in at 5, told king room wasn't ready, asked if we needed double beds. Our reservation was for a king (they assigned a room which wasn't ready), they moved us to one which was ready. Took a shower in cold water because it did not get hot no matter how far over we moved the knob, tub also did not drain so we stood in quite a few inches of water. Tried to blow dry my hair, blow dryer is broken. Bed was not comfortable. Curtains are sheer and do not block out any light, the heavier ones are just decoration. Stay very far away from this hotel. Not worth the money.

Edit: when I did try to call room service and front desk, there was no answer.

I'm giving this a 2 star because the lobby was clean and hotel staff were polite and courteous. The food at the bar was excellent. I stay at Marriott very frequently. I've stayed 41 nights at various Marriotts in the first 5 months of 2017. I have never stayed in a room at any of them that was as cheap and dirty looking as the Renaissance Tulsa. The carpet in my room was disgusting! Completely covered in various stains. The wallpaper was peeling, furniture beat up and outdated.. They tried to add a bit of a remodeled look by putting in large flat screens but it did not help at all. You would have thought you were staying in a $40 night motor lodge, in fact I have stayed in a $40 per night hotel and it was cleaner and less cheap looking. . Very disappointed in this Marriott location.
This pics don't do this horrible room justice.

Checking in was told that my suite was not available that had reserve they gave me another room but toilet did not function correctly ,mold on ceiling, dirt blowing from ac vent ,balcony had a wasp nest, ice machine did not work and the hot tub in pics and advertising it was removed. the bed was very worn you could only sleep in the hole but to be honest sleeping on the couch was a better option and when neighboring units would but anything down drain you'll definitely know a couple times observe it coming up in bath tub staff would offer ways to deal thangs like plug the drain or our try going up a floor or down floor to see if there ice machine that worked and you can't cancel your reservation day of checking in at that point they have your money . the next morning the sunlight filled the bedroom you could see above the bed their was something smeared on the wall. best advice is if you get their and they give room 531 just let them keep the 200$ and go some where else

We stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed it! The room service was great. All the food I got was delicious. Hotel stuff was always really nice. Beds are comfy.

Just a few things... Our rooms door has gaps on the bottom and side so we could hear everyone in the lobby clear as day(from 3rd floor), everyone coming and going, etc. so that sucked. The elevators doors shut super fast so when I would be getting in with my kids and stroller I got hit a couple times. Pool water isn t warm enough either.

Let s just say that management at this establishment is in serious need on people skills . My husband and I was looking for a getaway for a day and heard this hotel was the place to be anyway they couldn t find our reservations we asked for a manager and it took 30 mins of calling on their walkies and nothing then we sat down and a young lady was so kind to us offered us water and snacks a sweet girl with glasses that was the only best part of our check in experience .so after 40 mins of waiting the manager appeared and her name was leeah she was nonchalant about our situation and I showed her my reservation we paid for and she pushed my phone away and said she doesn t need to see it because it isn t in the system my husband became upset and she got beligerent with us and yell WE ARENT IN THE SYSTEM so you can either leave my building or pay for a room as a walk in reservation we were digested by the way she treated us with a distasteful manner that we choosed to go to a nearby hotel and when we got there we told them our experience and her name and they said they have been receiving complaints from her management skills so that let s me know she is horrible at her job if another location mentions her work ethnic I give zero stars for this hotel however the staff girl was pleasant and I feel bad ahe

Was very disappointed when we stayed here. It was not up to the JW standard. It was clean, but made me think of what an old and outdated Embassy Suites would be like. Being a Renaissance/Marriott partnered property, I just had higher expectations. The person who assisted me at check-in was pretty snooty, enough to mention it in my review. All I said was I would like to check in. There were little kiosk stations where I guess you could check in, but I want to talk to someone when checking in and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her to have her check me in. Again, totally not the JW standard.

Very mediocre experience. For some reason they charge $8 for parking in their lot. If you were located downtown or in a busy area I could see that but nope, they just charge you to park overnight in their big empty lot. Shower head wouldn't switch off of massage mode. The cable stopped working about 11pm for some reason. Was once a gorgeous hotel but in serious need of an update.

THEY GAVE 5 PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP BEDBUGS!!! When they came to announce it, ghey said it was 1 room with only 1 bug, LIARS! We are a tight-knit company and there were 5 that I knew of! There was inconsistent "concessions" given for such a BIG deal. They seriously tried to offer me a free night at this same, disgusting hotel! There were huge rats running around outside, as well as giant spiders in my room. There was blood splats on my bathroom floor, as well as the shower curtain, no one even offered to change my room, I had to ask! Dust all over the popcorn ceiling. Staff was rude. The phone rang 30 times before someone picked up. The AC barely worked. I physically picked the grime off their chairs in the restaurant. Staff came into out line for food, and served themselves. Then stood in the back eating, we would have shared, but for them to assume they could just eat was extremely unprofessional. There are MUCH better options on Tulsa. Pick somwhere else.

Went for training and an event. Food was made on site and it was delicious. The conference rooms were very clean and nice. If your business can foot the bill to utilize their amenities, I highly recommend doing so.

The staff is extremely friendly and polite. They have welcomed me each time they see me and have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable here. My room is clean and comfortable. I have been in the pool and fitness area and was very impressed. While not spotless, it was still cleaner than many hotel pools. My draw back is that the elevators need cleaning (specifically the floor buttons) as age, grease/grime/dirt have caused build up on it and it is disgusting. I would also recommend having more than one bottle of water on the room. I stayed three nights and only had 1 bottle of water.

Nothing to do once we arrived. Everything was closed by ten. WiFi costs money to use. Vending machines were broken. Service was alright but I've had much better. Only get a room if you plan to be there more in the day because it goes dead around 10
