Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center Review

Hotel has a decent sized indoor pool, pretty cool atrium, nice bar area. Paid about $30 more to stay here versus others we were considering, so was expecting a nicer hotel. It s a little dated, and not kept up well. Went to bar to watch basketball games, 2 TVs that were in the area I sat were broke. First room they gave us on 2nd floor looked right out to a roof with with an a/c unit right in front of window. 2nd room was 1 floor higher and wasn t much better, once it got dark there was a spotlight shining directly into window. When we booked through the Marriott app we paid more for a higher floor room. If you need a bigger hotel to accommodate large groups it could be appealing. But there is better options if you want better location and modern.

The servers in the banquet hall were kind and attentive

Stayed for a business trip. Hotel is nice and the service is friendly. The koi water feature in the main area is very nice, and the bar is cozy and well stocked. Rooms are showing a bit of age and are in need of updates, but the beds and pillows were awesome. The restaurant was decent for the breakfast buffet, but a bit light on options for the price. I would stay there again.

It was amazing. Best customer service and the breakfast <3 i highly recommend. Not a 5 star bc we did have a little trouble with the night clerk, otherwise it was terrific. 4 stars.

We had a fund raising event. The Renaissance was very kind and accommodating. This is not the first time we have held an event here and I'm sure it won't be the last.

I went to an event in one of their conference rooms and it was just as expected.

Beautiful place, nice lobby area, welcoming staff. Just beautiful. Rooms are nice size, the furnishings somehow reflect the name of the hotel. The location of the hotel is in a great place. Food and shopping are close, less than a mile away. Busy area, most of the restaurants are full. I really do enjoy Tulsa, it seems to be a really nice place to be.

DANGEROUS VENTILATION: Got there in middle of night last night and when I turned on the air conditioner I was engulfed with the body odor of the person in the room next door. I have an extremely keen sense of smell and I can detect a molecule a mile out so it's likely that others may not have noticed the stench. I figured since I was already exposed to the air in this room and that room, I was past the point of no return as far as breathing in everything this person was putting out so I stayed. I sprayed the vent with disinfectant and the stench abated for a while. Got up this morning to the stench of the person in the adjacent room blowing in to my room. Hope and pray this person was not ill as I have elderly parents and do not want to expose them to corona. This is an older hotel with cross contaminating ventilation so I suggest you stay at a newer hotel with better ventilation. Or pick a hotel that is not putting people in adjacent rooms. Was gross.

Have stayed here several times but the last time reserved the hotel because I needed a shuttle to and from the airport. Called for a shuttle and was told they didn't offer that service even though its clearly advertised as an amenity on their website. Ended up calling an Uber to/from the airport for about 40 bucks. Complained in writing and they offered no explanation, just sorry. Lifetime Marriott Platinum here but I won't stay at this property again. Voiced my complaint to corporate ... again with no resolution or compensation. False advertising!

Very modern, comfortable, and convenient. I've stayed in several hotels in the Tulsa area and so far this has been my favorite. Check in was quick, the staff were all very helpful. The restaurant was pretty good as well, with a good variety in drink selection as well as tasty food. I'll probably make this my go to hotel when visiting Tulsa.

Hosted event for cancer treatment centers of American. They were very effencent and prompt. Attitudes were amazing

Fish pond in the lobby along side refreshing pitchers of fruit flavored water is what to expect as you enter. The rooms are spacious with a restroom that is sure not to disappoint. Above all the area leaves nothing to be desired with shopping, eateries and entertainment all within arm's length.

Had plenty of walk space (no clutter); bathrooms were immaculately clean; every room we were in was clean... All employees were nice!

The location was great. Very spacious for the convention. It was very clean, and the bathrooms and dining spaces were orderly and tidy.

Always soft beds, quiet rooms even being right next to 169. Love it

My family booked a specific room type in advance and when they arrived in town they were told that all those rooms were occupied

I felt this place was a fantastic value for the money. Room was clean and fresh and the hotel staff was quite friendly

My only issue was with other guests. There was a childrens sporting event conference going on and my dog didn't like the kids running up and down the hall. However, both guests and staff were very pleasant the entire time and though there were some issues with guests being unruly or downright trashy, the hotel was kept in impeccable shape. I was easily able to overlook the small issues I had with the guests thanks to the beautiful establishment and wonderful staff. Would absolutely stay again.

The facility rooms for conventions are excellent, the wall that separates the different rooms are a little bit thin which may have a bit of an audio impact if there are multiple events going, however the service is great it's elegant and they have good restrooms, parking is also readily available

The rooms are nice and spacious. The elevators are glass and look really nice in the atrium. The atrium is probably the best part with the seating that is with the many plants, waterfall, and koi pond. The pool is warm as well as pretty big for a hotel. Though it only goes to 5 ft. Overall the hotel is really nice with how it looks and the service there.

I went to the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel for Young Living Go Diamond Expo. It was a clean and friendly environment. Very impressed with the rooms the event was held in. Great experience.

Very disappointed as I left a bag in room upon check out. Called hotel and lady identified herself as a manager gave me a song and dance about housekeeping would have to call me back. I left 3 voicemails on housekeeping s extension.
Spoke with corporate 3 days ago and still have not heard from hotel.

Had work meetings there. Clean and friendly staff. Food was okay. Parking plenty.

The hotel is great and I like the fact they give you a good rate on the room for the GTO. But I do feel like they charge you for everything ($100 incidental charge which by the way I was mot informed about when I booked my room.). But I will be booking again for next year.

Staff are real nice. Hotel is nice inside and out. The room had a few faults, nothing terrible, but they compensated for it. I am satisfied with the stay and cost.

Went to the Tulsa pop culture expo at the hotel and it was a great venue! Lots of room. Very clean. Amazing staff. I will definitely attend another event here!

BED BUGS!!! BEWARE!!! 2 Days After our stay, my 6 yr old was diagnosed with bed bug bites all over her body. That would explain the bug I found crawling on the pillow! And the dirty bathroom and hair in our sheets was disgusting too. Horrible experience and will never stay here again.

Great location. Hotel was dated but clean. The beds were average. Everything was smooth and easy check in and out.

I went here for the Tulsa Wedding Show! It was so clean and the staff was wonderful.

Tired hotel that needs a make over. Staff attitude towards guests is the worst.

Definitely not "Renaissance" quality. Bathtub in desperate need of repairs, picture with no glass, and wallpaper peeling off wall. Plus they charged $8/night to park. The Courtyard is much nicer.

Attended an employee appreciation event here. With many hundred people in attendance, the event was well staffed and seemed to go without a hitch.

Room had no working A/C. Pillows were old. Breakfast buffet was over priced and awful. This hotel is in severe need of an update.

No water in morning for shower. Customer service said that happens all the time. Was not apologetic about it and just stated that s the way it is. No room cleaning, no replenishing of soaps, towels, coffee, or anything you would expect from a hotel like this. Terrible hotel! Don t stay!

This is a nice hotel with good amenities. The location was near lots of restaurants and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.

A close family member had their wedding and reception there. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are perfect to set up any themes, they let you bring just about anything to make the wedding perfect. There was even a dance floor. The rooms are great for out of town family and friends to stay at to attend the wedding and it's also convenient to be able to rent a couple rooms for the wedding party to get ready in. They also had their photos done there, plenty of gorgeous places inside and outside the hotel that make for great pictures. We had a lot of fun, there was so much space, and again it's BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend it for any event, or even just a nice place to stay when you need a staycation!

Bed was very firm and bathroom needs to be refinished cracks in tile and needs reseald plus 17-18 dollars a person for breakfast is alot.
