Renaissance Richardson Hotel Review

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Friendly staff.

Hotel was under heavy updating when I stayed in early September, 2018. Rooms were well appointed and clean but HVAC had movement sensors and stopped cooling after going to bed. I understand saving power but I'd rather not wake up drenched with sweat several times a night. Asked for a fan on night two, which was provided quickly and without argument. Staff was very friendly and the area is convenient to the train. Would rebook if HVAC was reconfigured to run all night...

Hotel was good but staff wasn't friendly and room had odor

This hotel is beautiful and in a really great location. I always try to stay here when I m in town on business.

Great location. All is the staff were kind and helpful. The room was nicely organized. The only issue that I had was that the standard WiFi reception was horrible in my room. Neither my laptop now my cell phone could maintain a connection as it kept going in and out, while the premium WiFi had a string signal. Don't like being forced to pay when the standard speeds would have been adequate for me.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but the rooms are very comfortable. Nice beds. Would like to see complimentary wi-fi.

Zero complaints about my stay here. Great rooms. Great employees. Wonderful stay.

WORST HOTEL TO STAY AT. LOOKS NICE OUTSIDE BUT ROOMS ARE OLD AND TERBILE! Not updated even to the simplest things like a speaker with still the iPhone 4 port. Double charged my card and made an unauthorized charge on my card. Manger was very rude and uncooperative. Legal actions will be taken for the unauthorized purchase. Valet does not know how to manage time. Multiple times was handed the key to the car when I payed for valet. I recommend NO ONE GO TO THIS HOTEL. So many diff options of hotel in dallas that you can actually feel the 5 star service.

Very nice and clean rooms. Staff very pleasant. Starbucks in the lobby made for a nice morning!

Nice rooms. Very over priced for what you get. Poor sound control between rooms. NO concept of handicap when it comes to distance between parking and room location. Somewhat confusing to find your way around. Good food but VERY high priced and low selection.

Stayed there last week rooms we big enough..Great ventilation and service was top notch...Would definitely recommend and would be coming back again for sure...

Really nice common areas, but the rooms themselves are incredibly dated. They really need to gut renno them.

Had to visit for a work trip. It was very nice and well run. Staff was verry accomidating.

Rooms were spacious and lobby is gorgeous. All staff was accommodating and polite. Incredible place for work events.

I've stayed at the Renaissance each year for several years now, and I can recommend it without hesitation. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff friendly and attentive, and the location is immediately next to the DART light rail station which will have you in downtown Dallas in about 30 minutes.

Beautiful lobby, renovated since we were there last year. Very well done. The only issue I have is the limited space for turn in at the entrance. It is an issue, especially when there is an event at the Eisemann Center. Maybe more valets?

Beautiful modern and contemporary hotel. Didn't stay there (probably expensive) but the lounge and bar are great.

I stayed at this hotel for work while I was in the area. They had finished Rennovations the day before I arrived and everything was very nice. The staff is superb and they made my stay wonderful.

Good service and easy to find location, but no free WiFi in the room is a huge drawback.

Renovation is underway so some of the rooms are completely redecorated. Nice place to stay..close to many restaurants, and next to train station. Rooms are typically quiet and comfortable; bar and restaurant are popular hangouts for guests after hours.

Nice hotel. Went there for an event in the main hall. Really nice staff and the food was good. Place well kept and in a good location.

Right off of 75 Central, close to the Richardson Tech Corridor! The hotel is ckean, modern and very comfortable....a great stay!

My inlaws were staying at the Renaissance this weekend for the Bama game. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. However, the best thing about this hotel is how they treated my family. On the morning of their checkout, my uncle had a medical emergency which resulted in a need to call emergency services. The hotel staff were very helpful and did not rush them to checkout. A small gesture but they gave my family drinks for the road after they were able to leave the hospital. For that I'm grateful that the staff removed one worry from my very stressed inlaws.

Normally we enjoy our stays at this Renaissance, but our last stay left a lot to be desired. After having trouble contacting the front desk, we left our room at 1 AM.

My 3 year old foot got stuck in the revolving door. Had to break the door to free her foot. Do not stay here management is terrible. I m Marriott ambassador elite this will be the last year Hilton hear I Am VonBoy is trash

Wonderful hotel. Exceptionsl friendly staff. Great value for the money. The only negative is having to pay for parking and losing wifi as I moved throughout the hotel

Newly renovated. Very nice decor and updated rooms.

All of the people are super friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We got the romance package and got champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, free breakfast and they have and indoor pool!!

Great hotel, the lounge up on the 12th floor is awesome!

Not all rooms have a refrigerator. A lot of loud bangs when staying on the side above check in.

I came to the bar for a happy hour with my coworkers. It was our second time trying the place. Both times we got some drinks and ate some food. We have had the buffalo wings and burger plus french fries. There are lots of things showing on the TVs and the hotel itself has a very nice calm soothing ambience. I recommend coming here after work as there are several office buildings close by.

Only stayed for a shirt while, but the service was great.

The check-in and check-out was fast and simple. The room was perfect and the guest services efficient and helpful.

Meeting room was spacious, the parking can be a challenge though.

Went there recently for a ball, amazing accommodations. Food was great, rooms were great, the experience was great.

Omg the heated pool is freezing been asking every day for some heat in the pool but nothing changes. Trying to find the manager to help but keep getting blank looks and shrugs!

The staff (at the Renaissance hotel in Dallas, TX off performance dr.) was as polite and helpful as anyone could wish for.

Main entry under work but everything else was great.

I went in to buy a drink but no one ever showed up to take me to a table and people who work there just walked past me like I was invisible. I wasn't a guest but I was willing to spend money there. I guess I wasn't dressed well enough to served.

Great hotel but the checking service was horrible...

The hotel was very beautiful and the workers are very understanding if u want to, ask something. We needed another room and he brought the key but it was near the elevator so he said he could get a new room.

Amenities and room were wonderful. The staff was fantastic, John and Todd out front, were amazing!

Nice hotel, attended a social event there. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, the social event room was very nice as well. Amble parking is available.

Great location ,beautiful intsrior,but my roomwas on the noisy north side, did nof sleep well, but coming back.

Kind staff, excellent rooms, gave a great group rate for our event

Our room wasn t ready upon check in but the concierge made sure we had lunch paid for during our wait which made up for it. The place is a bit overpriced but still a overall lovely hotel.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Had a good overall experience.
