Spectacular hotel for the price I paid! Excellent service by the staff and a very nice hotel room. I loved the glass windowed elevators and the open atrium that this hotel has to offer. Also, if you have access to it, the breakfast on the top floor lounge is definitely worth it. This is definitely a step up (or two) from your run-of-the-mill hotels you find in the suburbs, so give Renaissance a try if you are in the Richardson area!

I've stayed at this hotel a few times prior to my most recent stay and it's typically been a standard mediocre experience. Decent place with somewhat dated decor and standard Marriott food and bar options yet consistent and convenient enough for me to frequent during work travel. This visit however, has been outstanding in comparison. I had a sick 9 year old puking and feverish, 1,000 miles from home, and pending international travel at risk too. A staff member named Memphis, was kind, and thoughtful, exemplary in every way. He really came through for us several times including restaurant service, special medical needs, and room service requests.
The valet was very friendly and helpful though I didn't use the service. Great first impression for an establishment. Check in expression was quick and pleased with the room, despite not being able to find my reservation. Lobby is beautiful and my teenage neice loved talking selfies...our hotel phone wasn't working which was an inconvenience but overall good experience and would return.

No fitness center. Entire fitness facilities are under construction. They offer a free shuttle to Golds Gym a mile away but the shuttles start at 7a?? Really? 7a? Wow.
If you wanna release your stress levels after busy day, or you haven t closed your circles (slang for Apple Watch users), enjoy in beautiful nearby parks and trails.

Everything is extra--parking, internet (which I never was able to connect to successfully), the bottle of water on the TV table. Also, the stairs don't go down to the ground floor (well, they do, but who wants to set off an alarm...) Impressive looking atrium, though.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in a long time. It's more than clean, it's comfortable and has an exceptionally pleasing decor. There's a wishing well in the lobby and the view inside the tall, open square is Great.
This will be one of my stopping points moving forward.

Recently stayed at this hotel for my work. While the hotel itself is nice with an large lobby, bar, dining area to sit, relax, drink and just people watch. I found the rooms average and a bit dusty on my arrival. I also found their housekeeping service lacking. Although they made my bed the first day....they left my trash (room service stuff) outside my door which was still there upon my return from work at 4:30 PM. They also did not pick up my dirty towels that I had left in the tub. I had to call two times to get this resolved. The next day my dirty towels were picked up but they left the trash bins full in my room and did not even clean the bathroom vanity. Not what you would expect from what I thought was an upper scale hotel. Their Star Bucks was out of everything and what they did have was stale or hard as a rock! Would I stay here again....only if my work provided for the room again. I have stayed at much better hotels.
Staff was very friendly and quick to get me into my room. Rooms have been recently remodeled and look really good. The room was clean and comfortable. Definitely returning.
